UNITED CENTER

A pitch black screen is shown... Suddenly a voice over is heard:
"Two men..."
Seth Stevens flashes across the screen in the midst of delivering a 10 Star Frog Splash which is faded into Nick Ryan hitting the Red Line on Adam Barker.
"One Championship..."
An official hoisting up the WGWF World Heavyweight Championship fades across the screen.
"One Final Battle..."
The words "TONIGHT" flash across the screen. The scene then fades into the United Center in Chicago, Illinoise. Pyro explodes all over the arena as "Uprising" by Muse plays over the speakers. The crowd is electric. Various signs displayed are picked up by the camera's: "PEACE OUT BITCH!", "Stevens Sucks", "Ryan Riot", "RAVEN RULES", "Barker Blows", "Radical is a doushe", "Heatstroke!" are just some of the signs picked up on camera before the scene fades to ringside where Derrick Diamond and Flash Rotten are shown sitting ringside ready to call tonight's Edition of Monday Night Brawl!
Diamond: Good evening and welcome everyone to the United Center in Chicago, Illinoise! Welcome to Monday Night Brawl! Hello again, I'm Derrick Diamond and joining me as always is Flash Rotten, and Flash we're just one week away from Battle Lines and War Games!
Rotten: The battle lines have been drawn for weeks, but before we can get to Des Moines, Iowa next week we gotta get through THIS week, and partner you talk about high profile Main Events it doesn't get any more high profile then tonight! It's a rare Monday Night Brawl moment because Nick Ryan will defend the WGWF World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Stevens of the Elite Synidcate...
Diamond: Stipulations out the ying yang tonight with this one. Let's go ahead and run it down for everyone at home. Ryan and Stevens have been back and forth over the last three months. They've had TWO World Title matches, but both matches had huge intereferences. So tonight, Matt Hopkins has barred the entire Elite Syndicate, he's barred James Raven, Jocelyn Camden, Chris Page, Dean James, and Shawn Murphy from ringside so that FINALLY tonight WE WILL have a winner!
Rotten: Seth has put it all on the line Derrick. If he loses to Nick Ryan tonight he will no longer be eligible to wrestle for the World Heavyweight Championship as long as Nick Ryan is World Champion. Seth's been here in the building all day long. He's refused to see anyone or comment to anyone about tonight's HUGE contest. All I can say... with Battle Lines next week the balance of power could shift completely to the corner of the Elite Syndicate with a victory tonight.
Diamond: And let's not forget the mental stability of Nick Ryan. It certainly appears that Elite Syndicate has manages to push Nick over the line. Nick's lost it! I just hope that Nick can keep it together mentally tonight because A LOT is on his shoulders.
Rotten: Also tonight a HUGE Tag Team Match up featuring Jocelyn Camden teaming with James Raven to take on Kenny Radical and John Stone of the Elite Synidcate. What's key here is where does James Raven's loyalities really lie? He's yet to commit to Team WGWF for Battle Lines.
Diamond: Are you trying to drag up another conspiracy Flash?
Rotten: Stranger things have happened.
Diamond: But none the less is should make for a very explosive Tag Team Match. Perhaps tonight we will get the answers from Raven if he's going to accept a spot at Battle Lines inside the Double Cage.
Rotten: Dean James is here tonight as he looks to take on Brian Cady, and we're also going to have a Triple Threat match for the Television Championship as Heat defends against The Sentinel and Viktor Sombra! What a night we're going to have ourselves tonight!
Diamond: Let's not forget that last week on Brawl a mysterious masked figure seemingly took out the entire Elite Syndicate. Tonight Adam Barker has vowed to unmask the masked man and show the world just who is responsible for the attacks.
ADAM BARKER AND MATT HOPKINS
Our scene cuts backstage where Matt Hopkins is shown walking towards his office door. Matt opens his door to walk in and find Adam Barker sitting behind his desk. Hopkins is pissed while Barker is all smiles.
Hopkins: What the hell are you up to Adam?!?!
Matt asks with a tone in his voice. Barker simply continues with his smirk as he stands up.
Hopkins: Last week you assumed control of Brawl? You banned James Raven and Nick Ryan from the building? On top of it you announce you've got a plan to buy back the WGWF out from under the WGWF Board of Directors?
Barker: Are you through?
Adam asks.
Barker: Yes Matt.. I did take over Monday Night Brawl last week. Yes Matt, I am currently brokering a deal which will land the WGWF back into my hands where it should have NEVER been taken from to begin with. Yes Matt, I think you're a complete tool. Anything else?
Hopkins: I can't wait for you to get yours at Battle Lines in War Games Adam. You've truly turned out to be nothing more then cancer, and you're killing the WGWF each and every day.
Barker: Ah, glad you mention War Games. As of this moment I've decided to remove my self from the War Games match.
Hopkins begins to shake his head.
Hopkins: I don't think so Adam. You've got no power to do that.
Barker: Actually Matt... I do. You see when I signed on for the War Games match at Battle Lines I signed on to put a team together to take on the WGWF's Team. Not one time did I officially accept a spot on my team. So Matt, consider this a heads up. I will be at Battle Lines, I will be at War Games, but it will be as a manager for the Elite Syndicate. Not a competitor.
Hopkins: If that's the case Adam then who is going to round out your team?
Barker: Now that Matt, that is a question that you'll find the answers too later tonight, and perhaps at War Games it self.
Hopkins: You make me sick. You might be trying to buy back the company Adam, but as of now I'm still in control. So do yourself a favor and get the hell out of MY office!
Adam begins to make his way from behind the desk. He goes face to face with Hopkins before stating.
Barker: For now... You're still in control for now.
Adam states as he walks past Hopkins and out the Office door as the scene cuts back to ringside.
Diamond: WOW!
Rotten: The battle between Hopkins and Barker seems to be intensifiying, but the burning question now turns to who is going to replace Adam Barker? Who's he got up his sleeve that he's not telling?
Diamond: It certainly spells bad news for Team WGWF going into Battle Lines and War Games.
Rotten: Adam said we're going to find out tonight, and at Battle Lines. So does this mean that perhaps two men will be replaced? If so who? I don't like this Diamond.
CCP BREAKS HIS SILENCE
Suddenly "Zero" by Smashing Pumpkins rips across the PA system bringing the Chicago faithful to their feet.
Diamond: What? This isn't on my run sheet.
The roof explodes as CCP steps out from behind the curtain. Their isn't any pyro, or special entrance which we're all accustomed too. CCP is dressed in Jeans, Timberland boots, with a black tank top which reads "CCP" written in green letters and the numbers "420" underneath. Chris's hair is pulled back into a ponytail as he begins to walk towards the ring.
Rotten: This is a complete and utter shock Derrick. I didn't even think Chris was going to be here tonight!
CCP makes his way to ringside. His facial expression is blank as he walks up the steel steps and enters the ring through the top and middle rope. It's their that CCP walks across the ring reaching through the ropes where he's handed a microphone from Donald Masters. The music fades away leaving a "CCP, CCP, CCP" chant from the crowd. Chris raises the microphone up and begins to speak.
CCP: Ya know somthing... Over the last several weeks it's appeared that I haven't had much to say. The question I've been receiving a lot lately is "Why did you cam Chris?".
CCP pauses for a brief second before continuing.
CCP: Several months ago I was attacked by John Stone. It was during that attack that I suffered some disc damage to my neck which required a minor opporation. I was suppose to be sidelined indefinetly. In my absence the Elite Syndicate has been taking liberties on each and every member of the WGWF roster from top to bottom leaving no man unharmed... I sat at home and watched week in and week out. I cut a few promo's here and there, but truth is I could have made a move... but I didn't.
CCP seriously states as he gazes into the camera with a cold, hard stare as he continues.
CCP: My decision to come back wasn't a plea from Nick Ryan, it wasn't at the request of Matt Hopkins, nor the countless verbial abuses dished out by John Stone like everyone out there might think. Instead it was a plea put out by another WGWF talent...
Diamond: Who?
CCP: Several weeks ago Heat...
The fans erupt at the mention of the name of the Television Champion as CCP continues.
CCP: Heat stepped in front of a camera and pretty much set the record straight. He said that in his eyes their was but one man who could really even the odds and even the playing field in the war for supremacy. Heat called me out! Heat WOKE me up and MOTIVATED ME to get my ass up off the couch, and walk that aisle ONE MORE TIME!
CCP states with excitement in his voice. His face is shown getting red.
CCP: I want to publically thank you Heat, for showing me just how personal this WAR is for you and the rest of the WGWF locker room who can TRULY call themselves Originals. For the last several months the Elite Syndicate has PISSED on everything that I, yes; I BUSTED MY ASS TO BUILD! NO MORE!
The crowd begins to come a live.
CCP: In just a week 10 people are going to risk their lives to step inside War Games. Two rings, side by side with ONE BIG ASS CAGE surrounding us. In this history of War Games and the WGWF their's been but ONE War Games match... and you're lookin' at the man who SURVIVED!
The fans erupt with a huge pop.
CCP: I know more than anyone else just how brutal and how barbaric this match truly is. I know better than anyone else how much a match like this will take off your career, but above all else I know better than anyone else how to survive! Hanging in the balance of this War Games is a shot at the WGWF World Heavyweight Championship, a title that I've spent more time with than any other man who's every won the Championship. The WGWF World Heavyweight Championship is a title that I single handedly made! It's a title that loves the waist of CCP... but let me go on record and say right here, right now in Chicago that I'm not interested in a shot at the World Title... nah, but what I am interested in is KICKED the SHIT out of each and every member of the Elite Syndicate!
The roof explodes with CCP's statement.
CCP: Last week on Brawl I had a match with Kenny Radical. No need to talk about it, because everyone saw Barker save Kenny's ass from another defeat. Post match... Kenny thought he would make a statement... NEW FLASH KENNY... YOU FAILED! You didn't make a statement... but what you did do was SIGN YOUR FUCKING DEATH CERTIFICATE! You wanna talk statements, you wanna talk GANG WAR FARE... Then take a good fucking look at me because I'm where it started and I'm going to be the man to END IT!
CCP tosses the microphone aside. "Zero" by Smashing Pumpkins hits the speakers as CCP makes his exit from the ring and heads back up the ramp. The scene cuts backstage.
ADAM BARKER MAKING A DEAL
We see Adam Barker taking to someone who is off camera.
Barker: If you do this for me tonight then I will make sure that you find yourself in the War Games Main Event. That's what you want right? So do we have a deal?
Adam extends his hand. All the camera picks up is another hand shaking Adam's.
Barker: Great.
The scene cuts back to ringside.
WGWF TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
VIKTOR SOMBRA vs THE SENTINEL vs HEAT (c)
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
VIKTOR SOMBRA vs THE SENTINEL vs HEAT (c)
Donald Masters: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. And it is for the WGWF Television Title. Now coming to the ring from Atlanta Georgia. He is the Current Champion..... HEAT!!!
Fans in the United Center rise to there feet as "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses rips across the sound system as the lights blink red and yellow as Heat makes his way out on stage. He raises his arms to have two huge fire balls go off at the bottom if the stage as he makes his way towards the ring. Heat gets into the ring and leans against one of the turnbuckles with the TV Title over his shoulder.
Donald Masters: His opponents first of which hailing from Jakarta Indonesia. He is THE SENTINEL!!
“Freak Of Nature 92” blasts over arena sound system as The light's turn of and we hear thunder strike's twice and soke's fill in the entrance floor as The Sentinel w/ Don Crusade make their way to the ring. Once inside The Sentinel poses in the ring before heading to one of the other corners. Both he and Heat are awaiting the final participant in this triple threat match.
Donald Masters: And finally from Chicago Illinois... VIKTOR SOMBRA!!
Thick white smoke fills the entrance ramp as the lights in the entire arena goes out. A maniacal and sinister laugh can be heard through the PA System. When it stops, The screen turns on and then fills with blood as Demigod by Behemoth begins to play. A large ring of fire lights up on the entrance ramp. After a few seconds, from under the ramp, rises a monstrous figure dressed in black, a hat covering his face. He steps through the flames and begins to make his way down to the ring as the fans watch in awe. Some children even close their eyes are they seem afraid of this monster of a man. He walks down to the ring with purpose and a strange aura about him. Once inside the ring he stands in the middle and removes his hat. He then flips his hair back as we now see his white eyes and what seems to be blood pouring out of his mouth. The music dies down as he walks into the center of the ring. He looks at both Sentinel and Heat. He motions around his waist that he'll be walking out with the title.
The referee walks over to Heat and takes the TV title. He then shows it to both Sombra and Sentinel before holding it in the air. The ref now takes the title over to the ring announcer. He then motions to all three men before signaling for the bell.
DING DING DING....
This match is finally underway. Viktor and Sentinel both eye ball the smaller of the three men Heat. But instead Sentinel goes right after Viktor hitting him right off the bat with a huge big boot. Heat stands back letting the two giants go at it. Sentinel walks over and picks Viktor up and tosses him over the top rope. The Sentinel then focuses his attention on the TV Champ Heat. He runs at him but Heat is able to duck The Sentinel's advance and get out of the way. Sombra begins slowly stirring on the outside of the ring just as a fan wearing a hat and sunglasses with crutches jumps the barricade.
Rotten: Now what is this? Fan's aren't allowed to jump the barricade. Someone get security out here.
The fan circles around Sombra before taking one of his crutches and cracking it over Sombra's head. Viktor immediately drops to his stomach as the fan continues to bash him with the crutch.
Diamond: You're right Flash can we get security out here please?
Just then the Fan rips off the hat and sunglasses revealing.....
Rotten: Oh my god Derrick it's Shawn Murphy!! What is he doing here?
Diamond: I don't know Flash but it looks like he is getting some payback. As you folks at home might remember Shawn Murphy was taken out by Sombra and the Elite Syndicate. And by the looks of the walking boot on Shawn's leg he hasn't fully healed yet.
Shawn continues his assault on Viktor as the action inside the ring continues. Heat has done a good job at keeping himself out of The Sentinel's grasp. That is until Heat tries to go for a Rising Temperature and The Sentinel catches him tossing him clear across the ring. Heat rolls around in pain as The Sentinel slowly makes his way over to the much smaller champion. Sentinel picks up Heat and hits a vicious uppercut right to Heat's jaw. Once again knocking him down to the canvas.
Diamond: There's a fight on the floor and a fight in the ring! All hell is breaking loose!
Rotten: I love it!
Back outside the ring. Shawn Murphy now has the crutch around Viktor's neck as he begins chocking him. Viktor gasps for air as he tries to get out of the hold but is unable to.
Rotten: Don't they fire people for that in other organizations?
Shawn finally lets go of Viktor as he takes a few steps back. Before cracking Viktor over the head once again with that crutch. This time though the crutch breaks in half and Murphy tosses it to the side.
Diamond: I've never seen Shawn Murphy this violent!
As the attention turns back to the action in the ring. Heat has made it back to his feet and is able to deliver a drop kick to Sentinel's leg. Bringing the larger challenger down to his knees. Heat quickly capitalizes on this and bounces off the ring rope before delivering a huge big boot the Sentinel's jaw. But the giant still won't go down to the mat. Heat looks outside noticing Shawn working over Viktor and smiles. The Sentinel is able to make it back to his feet as Heat goes behind him. Heat tries to lift The Sentinel but is unable to as Sentinel hits a hard hip toss on Heat. Sentinel goes over and attempts a three count. Referee goes down...
1....
2..
Kickout by the champion.
Diamond: Sentinel was half a second away from once again being TV Champion!
Sentinel begins to show a little frustration as he picks Heat up by the back of his head. He lifts him high in the air and hit's Heat with a big Power Slam. Once again he goes for the cover.
1....
2..........Kickout
Heat is once again able to get a shoulder up just in the nick of time. Sentinel begins signaling for the Sentinel Death Drop. As Heat makes it to his feet Sentinel wraps his large hand around Heat's neck and delivers a huge chokeslam to the champion. As Heat hits the mat the momentum from the move allows Heat to roll to the opposite side of the ring on the ouside. Just then on the other side of the ring. Shawn Murphy lifts Sombra up to where he is kneeling on the arena floor and........ BAM!!! Shawn hit's the Light's Out with that walking boot. Shawn picks up Sombra who is out cold and rolls him into the ring where Sentinel is waiting. The Sentinel looks on at the basically gift wrapped Sombra who is still out cold. He watches as Murphy makes his way over to the ramp before going for the cover on Sombra...
1........
2..........
3..........
DING DING DING
Donald Masters: Your winner and NEW WGWF TELEVISION CHAMPION THE SENTINEL!!
"Freak of Nature" hits the speakers as the crowd comes alive with the title change.
Diamond: Sentinel did it! He's once again the WGWF Television Champion!!
Rotten: Good lord.
Sentinel is awarded the TV Title. His arm is raised in victoryas the scene cuts backstage.
RAVEN AND HIS CONDITIONS
The camera opens up inside a small office inside of the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The walls are decorated with images of former W.G.W.F. superstars, everyone from M.D.K. to Paul Frost, and a small monitor built into the corner of the room airs a replay of tonight’s Television Title match which was dominated by The Sentinel. The camera slowly pans out, and we see a large and highly polished wooden desk covered in scattered paper work, a name plate sitting at the front emblazoned with the name of the W.G.W.F. owner, Matt Hopkins.
Matt sits at his desk, staring blankly across at two other men, a thoughtful expression on his face as the camera spins around to reveal their identities. The first man is James Raven, the recently returned superstar and former Global Cup champion. His hair is gelled up perfectly in the front, his collared shirt open at the top revealing a plain white tee and a beaded necklace underneath, his sleeves rolled up to the elbow. The second man is one we’ve never seen before, an African-american male who’s face looks like it’s been chiseled out of granite… his black Under-Armor tee shirt stretching across his bulging muscles as he sits silently.
JAMES: So, Matty… you care to tell us why we’re here?
MATT: Well, I’m more than happy to tell you why you’re here, but I couldn’t begin to explain what he’s here for.
JAMES: Fair enough. Let’s start with me, and then I’ll get to him. Deal?
Hopkins slowly nods his head in agreement and looks down at the sheet of paper in his hands, slowly reading down the list.
MATT: Nick Ryan, the current World Heavyweight Champion, Jocelyn Camden, one of the brightest stars in the sport right now, “Chronic” Chris Page, a resume that speaks for itself but not officially committed… it’s a nice line up so far, James, but it’s missing something. You. A nice line up, but we can make it great if you just add your name to the list.
JAMES: Is that really all this is, Matty? Here I was thinking that you wanted to ask me to the prom.
MATT: I’ll save you a slow dance, James, but this right here is important. Battle Lines is a week away, and I gave Nick the opportunity to assemble his own team. He failed. Now, I can sit back and let him deal with the consequences of that, but if I go down that road we lose the War Games match, and possibly the company. I have to get involved, James.
James shrugs his shoulders and sits back in his chair, looking up at the ceiling and rubbing his chin thoughtfully, but he remains silent.
MATT: Are you expecting me to beg, James?
JAMES: No, I don’t need you to beg.
Matt nods his head, breathing a silent sigh of relief, but wondering why Raven has fallen so quiet all of the sudden.
JAMES: I don’t expect you to beg, but I do expect you to make this worth my while.
Now it’s Matt’s turn to fall silent, his eyes studying Raven and his imposing associate carefully. Finally he shrugs and looks down at his paper work.
MATT: How am I supposed to do that, James? What is it going to take to get you on my side in this match? A blank check?
JAMES: Nah, home boy… I’ve got enough money to buy this place out from under you if I wanted, that’s not going to do it.
MATT: Is it an ego thing? Do you want to be ‘Team Captain’ or something? Do you want the pay per view poster to have your face plastered on it? We don’t have time to play guessing games, James, just tell me what you’re looking for.
James suddenly leans forwards in his chair, his face all business as he glares across the desk at Hopkins.
JAMES: I want Nick Ryan. I want someone to take that belt off of his god damned waist, and since Seth Stevens is clearly incapable I want it to be me.
Matt shakes his head.
MATT: James, you know that’s one of the only things I can’t offer you. I’m awarding the number one contender status to the winner of Battle Lines… I can’t give it away before then. If you win, then spectacular, Nick is yours… but you have to win.
James sighs, but nods his head in acceptance.
JAMES: Yeah, that’s pretty much what I expected you to say.
MATT: So what else can I offer you, James?
JAMES: You can make sure I win.
MATT: I’m… I’m not going to cheat for you, James.
James shakes his head, putting Hopkins at ease.
JAMES: Don’t worry, man, I’m not asking you too. Here’s the thing… I don’t trust anyone on this team of yours. They’re all looking out for themselves, and what they want. If I do this, I need to make sure there’s someone in the ring with me that is watching my back… that can shift the odds in my favor.
Without another word, James slowly rotates his head to look at the man sitting next to him. Matt looks to the other man as well, a look of nervous excitement on his face as he stares at him. The man cracks his knuckles loudly, his upper lip snarling menacingly… and he cracks a wide grin and chuckles slightly.
MAN: ‘Sup.
Matt nods his head in acknowledgement, his own nervous laughter carrying through the office as he looks back to James.
JAMES: Hopkins, meat Andre Dixon… the newest W.G.W.F. roster member, and the newest member of our Battle Lines team. Andre enjoys long walks on the beach, candle light dinners, and horse back rides…
ANDRE: Don’t forget sunsets.
JAMES: Of course, he also likes sunsets. You’re going to sign him to a very handsome contract, and I expect your utmost generosity when it comes to that. In exchange for that contract, Andre is going to tear through the Elite Syndicate like a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
ANDRE: Your mother.
JAMES: She says ‘hi’. He’s also going to make absolutely sure that no one gets in my way next week, and that I get my shot at Nick Ryan. In exchange for his kindness to me, and your kindness to him… I’ll join the WGWF team.
Matt looks at James, and then at Andre, and then back at James.
MATT: You read the contract, James. I e-mailed it to you last week. No one can participate in that match without having wrestled at least one match in the company before then.
ANDRE: Hater.
JAMES: I know, Matt… which is why you need to get him in a match tonight. Cady and Dean are going in about three minutes; I think that’s the best option. Don’t you?
Matt looks over at the monitor which has a countdown clock to the next match ticking down. Raven is right, just under three minutes. He turns back to Andre, who smiles and gives him a big thumbs up.
MATT: You ready to go, Mr. Dixon?
ANDRE: Yes, masta.
MATT: HEY! Did you just call me-
ANDRE: Just playin’, man, take a breath cracker-jack. I’ll be in the ring.
With that, Andre stands up out of his chair and makes his way to the door, bumping fists with Raven on the way out. Matt and James watch him go, but he stops before reaching the hall way and turns back.
ANDRE: Hey, boss man… do you like these two guys, ‘cause I should probably tell you now that I plan on hurting them.
JAMES: Do what you’ve got to do, man.
MATT: He’s right… it’s your job, now.
Andre grins again and cracks his neck this time before turning and disappearing out of the door.
MATT: My god, James… where did you find that guy?
JAMES: Prison.
MATT: You’re kidding me!
JAMES: Nah, homie… I’m O.G.
Matt stares at James blankly.
JAMES: It means original- You know what? Forget it.
MATT: So I add him to the roster, and I line him up behind you next week… and you’re in?
James nods his head slowly, but pauses.
JAMES: There’s one more thing. You’ve seen the movie ‘Aladdin’ before, right?
MATT: Sure.
JAMES: Good. From now on, you’re my genie… I get three wishes, and when I make them, I expect them to come true. Deal?
Matt stares at Raven as James extends his hand across the desk.
MATT: What are they?
JAMES: No. Not now… there’ll be time for that later. Right now, I want to go watch Andre put down Dean James. Do we have a deal?
Hopkins thinks it over for another moment, wondering if this is too steep a price to pay to get Raven on board, but as he considers his other options he finally shakes James’ hand.
JAMES: See you at Battle Lines.
James walks out of the office, a grin on his face as he whistles the melody of “My Humps” by Fergie, shutting the door behind him. Matt sighs deeply, looking to the monitor behind his desk as the next match is ready to begin, and the camera makes it’s way over his shoulder, looking down at the sheet of paper in front of him as he writes ‘James Raven’ onto his list.
DIAMOND: We’re here at ringside, getting ready for what was originally supposed to be a one on one match between former International Champion, Brian Cady, and former World Champion, Dean James.
ROTTEN: That’s right Derrick, but then of course James Raven had to go and get in the middle of things.
DIAMOND: To be fair, Flash, it’s Andre Dixon that has himself in the middle of things now, not James Raven.
ROTTEN: Don’t be that guy, Derrick…
Dixon stands in the center of the ring, bouncing up and down shaking out his arms and legs as the WGWF Hall of Famer, Dean James, looks on. Brian Cady makes his way up the steel steps, the final competitor in this triple threat, and as he steps between the ropes Andre makes his way to his own corner with a wide grin on him face. The referee shouts last minute instructions to each of the three competitors, and does a quick pat down to make sure no one is carrying anything illegal into the match with them, and finally, he calls for the bell!
ROTTEN: Here we go!
ANDRE DIXON vs BRIAN CADY vs DEAN JAMES
- - Standard Triple Threat Match - -
- - Standard Triple Threat Match - -
Cady makes the first move, sprinting across the ring at Dean James and leaping through the air, looking for a high knee, but Dean has it scouted and manages to lean out of the way sending Cady soaring past harmlessly. Dean wastes no time sliding behind Brian, locking a tight grip around his waist and looking for a quick suplex, but Cady holds onto the top rope and refuses to allow himself get tossed.
ROTTEN: What a bitch move. BE A MAN, CADY!
The referee apparently agrees as he makes his way around to Cady, instructing him to release the ropes and defend himself legally, but Cady refuses. Dean tries the suplex again, but Cady still has a firm grip on the ropes. Finally Dean gives up and lets go of Brian’s waist, only to hook his arm around Brians throat and drop to his own knees bending Cadys spine awkwardly with a back breaker.
DIAMOND: It looks like Dean James is in firm control of this match, but this entire time we’ve yet to see Andre Dixon even budge from his corner!
ROTTEN: I think he’s scared.
DIAMOND: I don’t know, Flash, he doesn’t strike me as the type who scares easily.
Dean stands up from the mat, grabbing the X Effect by the throat and sending a knife edged chop crashing into his chest, the flesh on flesh collision echoing through the entire arena. The fans scream their approval, and Dean grabs Cady by the wrist and looks to whip him across the ring, but Brian keeps his feet planted. Dean looks to irish whip Cady again, but again Cady refuses to be moved.
ROTTEN: He’s probably holding onto the ropes again.
Dean tries one last time, and finally Cady moves, but it’s only a step as he pivots quickly and reverses the throw sending Dean James sprinting across the mat right towards-
DIAMOND: OH!
ROTTEN: MY GOD! Andre Dixon practically took Dean James’ head off right there! What the hell was that!?!
DIAMOND: It was a forearm smash to the face, Flash, but he leapt through the air when he did it! Dean looks like he’s out cold! I felt our announce table shake with that collision!
Andre rests on his hands and knees for a second, savoring the moment as the entire arena falls silent and stares at the motionless Dean James, but he soon pops to his feet and leaps in the air, stomping his feet on the canvas and throwing his arms out to his sides, a roar of rage echoing from his throat. With that the fans explode, cheering on the aggressive newcomer, and Andre looks slowly at Brian Cady who’s standing rooted to the spot.
DIAMOND: Cady doesn’t know what to do!
ROTTEN: Would you, Derrick? I introduced you and ‘courage’ last Christmas, and you still don’t know what it is!
Andre rushes towards Cady, slamming him hard to the mat with a hay maker clothesline that crumples the X Effect like it was nothing. Andre shouts for the former champion to get back to his feet, and slowly Cady does his best to oblige, grabbing onto the middle rope and dragging himself up to a vertical base. Brian’s eyes are wide as he looks around the arena, clearly not sure exactly what’s going on.
ROTTEN: Cady’s eyes are more glazed over than the Krispe Kreme doughnuts I pounded for breakfast this morning. He doesn’t even know what day of the week it is!
DIAMOND: It’s nothing to joke about, Flash, he looks like he might be concussed!
Brian turns to face Andre again, his eyes growing even wider at the sight of him, and Dixon sprints across the mat and leaps through the air with a massive and earth shaking shoulder block that sends Brian flipping over the ropes and landing hard on the ground outside of the ring. Andre Dixon looks unstoppable right now! He poses again in the center of the ring, but suddenly the fans begin to cheer again, and he realizes something is happening. He breaks the pose and spins around to look at the turnbuckle…
DIAMOND: Dean James has recovered! He’s made it to the top rope, and I think he’s looking for the ‘Five Star Performance’!
Dean stands straight up on the top rope, blood flowing down his face from the nose which Andre may very well have broken, and he points at Dixon declaring him the target. Dixon simply grins and wags his fingers, warning James not to do it.
DIAMOND: Dean doesn’t listen!
The Lost Legend leaps through the air, looking for his patented frog splash, but-
“HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!”
Dixon lowers his shoulder and drives it up into the ribs of Dean James, catching him in mid air and spinning one hundred and eighty degrees before slamming Dean into the canvas with a vicious spinning spine buster! Dean goes completely limp in the center of the ring, and Dixon finally puts an end to this match, hooking the leg of the Hall of Famer and waiting patiently as the referee slides across the canvas to make the count.
REFEREE: ONE….. TWO….. THREE…..
DING! DING! DING!
Andre slowly rises to his feet, an innocent grin on his face as he shrugs his shoulders and allows the referee to raise his hand in victory.
MASTERS: The winner of this match, and the newest member of ‘Team WGWF’ at Battle Lines… Andre “The King” Dixon!
The fans continue to scream their approval as Andre rolls out of the ring and makes his way slowly up the ramp towards the stage where we see James Raven standing and clapping enthusiastically. Dixon reaches him and the two men bump fists, talking to each other inaudibly as the camera returns to the ring to show the destruction, the lifeless bodies of both Brian Cady and Dean James being attended to by the medical staff. Finally, the cameras return to James and Andre.
DIAMOND: I hate to say it, but Hopkins may have won the Battle Lines match before it even began when he landed these two on his team.
ROTTEN: It’s not over until Rosie O’Donnell sings, Derrick, don’t you forget that!
DIAMOND: You’re right, Flash, but who on the Elite Syndicate team can put Dixon down? The “Lost Legend” Dean James couldn’t even do it!
ROTTEN: I don’t know, Derrick, but I’m sure Adam Barker has a few trips up his Limey-sleeve!
Raven and Dixon continue to talk as they make their way backstage, the fans cheering them both loudly, and the camera shot slowly fades out.
ADAM BARKER TRACKS DOWN THE MASKED MAN
Adam Barker makes his way out to the ring to no music. He has a pissed off look on his face as he walks up the ring stairs and gets into the ring. He paces for a moment before lifting the microphone to his mouth.
Adam Barker: Last week I said that if Nick Ryan came to this arena. I'd strip him of his title and fire him. Yet last week a masked man attacked not only John Stone and Viktor Sombra. But then interjected himself into the main event. Now god damn it I know it was Nick Ryan. So why not come out and face the music Nicky boy.
So You Think You Can Shoot Your Mouth Off
Well You Better Watch Your Aim
Cause I Know That You're In My House
You Wanna Stay You're Gonna Have To Pay
Try To Hide But There's No Way Out
You're going Down, You're Going Down
(Bang Bang)
Someone Said You're Feeling Brave tonight
(Step Up)
Do You really Want To Cross The Line
(Right Now)
Go Ahead And Try To Takes What's Mine
Let It Roll, Let It Roll I'm Unstoppable
Let It Roll, Let It Roll I'm Unstoppable
Let It Roll Let It Roll
How's That Dirt Taste In Your Mouth Now
Told You I Was Deadly Like A Snake
And I Will Strangle All Your Hopes Now
And Feed Off Of Your Mistakes
There Was Nothing Left For You to Figure Out
Your Going Down, Your Going Down
(Bang Bang)
The masked man steps out onto the the ramp. A lead pipe is in his hand. He justs stands there looking down the ramp at Adam Barker.
Adam Barker: There you are Nick now why don't you take that mask off. And show all these people who you really are.
The masked man just shakes his head from side to side.
Adam Barker: God damn it just do it already we already know it's you...
Just then the lights in the entire arena go out. About fifteen second later the lights come back on. But this time there are two masked men in the ring with Adam Barker. Adam looks as though he's seen a ghost. The masked men begin circling Adam Barker looking as though they are preparing to pounce on him. Just then they stop. Both men reach for their masks before taking them off revealing.....
NICK RYAN AND CHRONIC CHRIS PAGE!!!
Adam stops in his tracks and smiles..
Adam Barker: I knew it you two are done for........
Ryan and Page pounce on Barker both throwing numerous punches. Finally they stop Nick looks down grabbing the microphone.
Nick Ryan: You know something Page? This wasn't a half bad idea after all.
Nick kneels down at Adam's side.
Nick Ryan: You wanted gang warfare Barker? Well you got it pal.
The crowd roars as Nick tosses the microphone to the mat as "Hero" by Skillet hits the speakers. CCP and Ryan make their exit and walk back up the ramp.
JOCELYN CAMDEN and JAMES RAVEN vs JOHN STONE AND KENNY RADICAL
DIAMOND: Flash Rotten and Derrick Diamond back with you at ring side as we get ready for the third match of the evening… a tag team contest pitting two members of the Elite Syndicate versus two members of Team WGWF in a Battle Lines preview!
ROTTEN: Right, partner, now all of the fans at home will get to see the Elite Syndicate stomp all over the rest of the roster two weeks in a row!
“So Cold” by Breaking Benjamin hits the speakers as Kenny Radical makes his way out from backstage, John Stone in tow as the fans boo them furiously. Neither of the men seems to care much however, and they quickly begin to make their way down to the ring ignoring everyone but themselves as they do so.
DIAMOND: You seem very confident in the Syndicate, Flash, why?
ROTTEN: You see that little golden belt around Radicals waist? How many of those do Raven and Camden have in their WGWF careers?
DIAMOND: Fair enough, but two weeks ago Raven beat John Stone cleanly… and we’ve seen Camden beat Radical one on one before too.
ROTTEN: I’m not getting your point.
Stone and Radical slide under the ropes. Radical makes his way to his feet, shoving the Intercontinental title into the chest of the referee as he and Stone make their way over to Adam to decide who’ll be starting this one off. As they do so, though:
“Now here we go for the hundredth time!”
“Bleed it Out” by Linkin Park begins to play over the speaker system, and the crowd goes wild as James Raven makes his way onto the stage with Jocelyn Camden at his side. The two pose for the fans, soaking up all of the cheers as they grin at each other, then they point down at the ring towards the Elite Syndicate and sprint down the ramp. As they reach the apron, Jocelyn slides under the bottom rope and James dives through the top two, rolling to his feet in the center of the mat as Jocelyn pops to hers.
DIAMOND: WOW! Some impressive acrobatics, there!
ROTTEN: Whatever. Go join the circus, bird boy.
Jocelyn and Raven make their way back to their corner, and Raven slowly steps out onto the apron. It looks like Camden is kicking it off! As soon as Radical sees this, he steps back in the ring and motions for Stone to get out. Radical wants to get his hands on Camden, it would appear! The referee shouts out his instructions, and calls for the bell.
DIAMOND: Here we go!
DING...DING...DING....
Radical rushes Jocelyn, but the smaller star quickly drops to the mat and catches Kenny with a drop toe hold that sends the Intercontinental Champion crashing to the mat. Camden quickly rolls across the canvas, sliding herself onto Radicals back and trying to lock in an arm bar, but Radical easily shakes off the smaller superstar and climbs back to his feet. Radical rushes Camden with a clothesline, but she ducks under it and catches his arm, dragging him down to the canvas and trying once more to lock in the arm bar, but again Radical manages to roll away unharmed.
DIAMOND: She really wants that submission, Flash, but Radical wont let her lock it in.
ROTTEN: That jerk.
Radical doesn’t give Camden time to regain her bearings as he charges her immediately, spearing her in the midsection and driving her back into the Elite Syndicates corner of the ring. Radical stands directly in front of her giving her no way to escape, and he sends several back hand chops straight into the young stars chest causing her to scream in pain. She tries to block the attacks, but John Stone reaches over the ropes and holds her arms back, allowing Kenny to nail her with another thunderous chop. The referee rushes over to the corner, pushing John off of Jocelyn, but while he’s preoccupied with Stone Radical throws a thumb into the eye of Camden.
DIAMOND: He’s cheating!
ROTTEN: They’re the Elite Syndicate, Derrick… which part of that do you not understand?
Radical continues to manhandle Jocelyn in the ring. Stone leans back, his hands up innocently as the referee turns around just in time to see Radical spike Camden to the mat with a snap DDT. He rolls her over on her back, hooking the leg and waiting for the referee to make the count.
REFEREE: ONE….. TW-
Camden gets her shoulder up before finding herself in any real danger, and Radical stands her up, pushing her back into the turnbuckle and tagging in Stone. Camden tries to run before Stone can get in the ring, but Radical trips her to the canvas where Stone lays a big boot into the side of her head.
DIAMOND: Raven is furious, and with good reason!
The referee turns to tell Raven to calm down, and as he does Stone bends over to put another thumb in Jocelyns eye. Before he can, Camden whips her leg up and catches him in the temple, stumbling him to one knee.
DIAMOND: What a kick!
Camden rolls to her own knees and hooks an arm around Stones neck, and her other around his thigh, rolling him over onto his back. The fans explode as Jocelyn rolls up Stone, looking for a quick victory, but the referee is still busy with James who is leaping furiously on the apron, telling the referee to turn around. Finally, he does, and as soon as he sees the pin across the ring he slides across the canvas, his hand slapping the canvas as he moves.
REFEREE: ONE….. TWO…..
Kick out by Stone!
ROTTEN: Not good enough.
DIAMOND: What are you talking about, Flash? Camden had him pinned for a six count; the referee just never saw it!
ROTTEN: Your bias sickens me, Derrick. Try to be professional and fair, here, please?
Camden and Stone are both back on their feet, and Stone grabs Jocelyn, lifting her up quickly and holding her in the air vertically… he’s going for the jack hammer! The fans gasp as Jocelyn is held straight up in the air helplessly, awaiting her fate, but they gasp again as she suddenly spins herself in the air, hooking her own arm around the head of Stone and bringing him down with a massive swinging DDT! Stone crashes head first into the canvas, slumping as Camden rolls to her feet and dives across the mat, tagging in James Raven! Raven sprints across the canvas and drops a quick elbow on Stone, then rolls onto Stones back, locking in a rear naked choke! James is looking to choke out John Stone! The former Intercontinental Champion’s face turns bright purple as he struggles to free himself, but he can’t!
DIAMOND: I think he’s about to tap!
Radical jumps the top rope and rush at James. Raven sees him coming and lets go of Stone, rolling to his own feet and waiting for Radical to get closer but the referee intercepts the champion and pushes him forcibly back into his corner. James grins and grabs Stone by the foot, dragging him back into his corner, and he tags in Jocelyn who quickly climbs to the top rope. Camden braces herself and then leaps from the top rope with a leg drop across the chest of John Stone, knocking the wind out of him as she tries another cover.
REFEREE: ONE….. TWO….. THR-
ROTTEN: It’s a rope break! Stone isn’t going down that easily!
Camden sighs and sits up, tagging Raven back in as now he climbs to the rope, giving Jocelyn a chance to clear out. Raven spins around, facing out at the crowd, and then he leaps backwards off of the turnbuckle with a high flying moonsault that leaves the fans breathless.
CRASH!
DIAMOND: There’s nobody home!
ROTTEN: Crash and burn!
Stone stumbles to his feet, making his way haphazardly across the ring to Kenny Radical, tagging him in. Radical wastes no time, taking advantage of Raven’s current position and climbing on top of him with a vicious ground and pound, raining right and left hands down on James who tries to cover up and protect himself. Radical picks up Raven and shoots him across the ring, Raven bounces off the ropes into an awaiting Powerslam from Radical who maintains the cover.
Referee: ONE... TWO.... TH
Raven shoots a shoulder up off the mat. Radical gets to his feet. He picks up Raven before sending Raven crashing back first into a set of turnbuckles. Radical charges in buit eats a boot to the face from Raven staggering Radical back several feet which allows Raven to hop up to the middle turnbuckle before leaping off with a Missile Dropkick sending Radical crashing to the mat. Raven works his way to a vertical base before running towards the ropes and connecting with a spring board moonsault off the middle rope. The crowd roars upon impact.
Diamond: A version of the Ravensault off the middle ropes.
Raven covers.
Referee: ONE..... TWO.... THRE
The crowd boo's as John Stone breaks the count with a boot to the back of Raven's head. This draws Camden into the ring who nails Stone with several fast forearm shots knocking him back across the ring. The referee gets between them and as he ushers Camden out of the ring Raven is shown getting to his feet. His attention is to Radical which allows Stone to come up behind him and catch him with a side russian leg sweep before exiting the ring under the bottom rope to the floor to avaid the official before hoping back up on the ring apron.
Diamond: They always seem to find a way to cheat Flash.
Rotten: It's not cheating if you don't get caught.
Both Radical begins to stir first as he crawls towards his corner. As Radical makes his way closer Raven begins to stir, he's closer to his corner then Radical. The crowd explodes as both Camden and Stone are tagged in at the same time. Camden is in the ring first, as Stone is tagged he attempts to spring board off the top rope but Camden catches him with an Inverted Atomic Drop! Camden explodes off the ropes nailing Stone with a flying forearm taking him to the mat. Camden points to the top rope signaling for the Corkscrew Senton...
Diamond: Camden's looking for Catch This!
Camden makes her way to the top rope, but before she can even think to connect with the move Radical takes her legs out from under her crotching her on the top turnbuckle. This promps Raven to enter the ring, he runs full blast nailing Radical with a dropkick knocking him off the ring apron and into the security railing. Meanwhile Stone is shown getting to a vertical base, Raven turns around blasting Stone with Flight of the Raven. Camden's recovered and is now standing back up on the top rope where she leaps off with the Corkscrew Senton!!
Referee: ONE.... TWO.... THREE!
DING....DING.....DING.....
"Bass Down Low" by The Cataracs ft. Dev hits the speakers to a huge reception from the crowd.
Masters: Your winners... JOCELYN CAMDEN and JAMES RAVEN!!
Diamond: What a victory tonight for these two! Looks like the momentum is solely in the favor of the WGWF going into Battle Lines!
Camden and Raven have their arms raised in victory as the scene cuts backstage.
