OOC: This was a part of my RP but pushed the RP over the character limit. It wasn't essential but would become pointless after Armageddon V, so I'll post it as a DV RP instead.

Prelude To Armageddon V
One look at the card and realization sets in that Armageddon is going to be one monstrous, astronomical, epic event, and why wouldn’t it be? It is after all the celebration of five years of the good facing the bad in the ultimate battle. Over the years the Armageddon card has been scaled from top to bottom with magnificent confrontations and matches, taking a look back the memories still sink in of the time when Charles Winston defeated Danny Polar at the second ever edition of the Armageddon pay-per-view some five years ago to become the World Champion, or at Armageddon III where history was made when MDK and Dean James faced off in the first ever First Blood Ladder Match with the Intercontinental Championship on the line, a match in which many experts still call one of the greatest WGWF matches ever. What about at Armageddon IV when Seth Stevens and Andrew Clash defeated the iconic, yet rather unorthodox team of ‘Chronic’ Chris Page and Famine Of The Vile to lift the vacant Tag Team Championships. Armageddon is filled with some magic moments that will live in the hearts of fans forevermore. Years down the track when our current fans grow old and grey they will tell their children of the memories they shared with other WGWF fans whilst watching an Armageddon pay-per-view, their children will smile and envision their own life time memories unfolding before their eyes as WGWF tops the charts with Armageddon XX, Armageddon XXI, Armageddon XXII and so on and so fourth.
Despite the magnitude of past Armageddon events the coming Armageddon V pay-per-view is set to be the greatest of them all, and for good reasons too. The pay-per-view is jammed packed with astronomical matches destined to inevitably create life long memories in the minds of millions watching around the world. Titles are on the line, contenderships are going to be assigned and scores are going to be settled. The impressive Mikel Batriani will get his chance at taking the Intercontinental Championship from Seth Stevens. This match, quite frankly enough, is very similar to the MDK/James First Blood Ladder Match from years previous. The champion, a known competitor and established wrestler puts his title on the line against an up-and-coming star in the business. Will history repeat itself with the champion looking down on the challenger as the challenger falls off of the ladder and all his dreams and desires come crashing down around him? It’s an intriguing concept, an interesting way to look at the match. This match is most definitely one to look out for.
The main event consists of the tyrant, devils son himself, ‘Chronic’ Chris Page defending his newly won World Championship against a rival of his past in Nick Ryan. It is claimed these men have a great and well established history in other promotions. It will be interesting to see how this match unfolds and who will walk out champion.
But despite the magnitude of their rivalry the heat they have between each other came about in other promotions. However the one match that no doubtly all fans are raring to see is between two who have been feuding within the confines of the WGWF ring over recent weeks, two men who were once close friends, closer than any friends you could even meet, they are now bitter rivals and square off against each other in the confines of the Armageddon V ring looking to claim a hold of bragging rights and to settle a score.
The feud all cumulated a month previous in a Fatal Four Way Match involving John Stone and the reigning champion at the time and the current champion, ‘Chronic’ Chris Page and the two men set to do battle in this epic grudge match at Armageddon V; Dean James and Paul Frost. Going into the match both Dean James and Paul Frost were determined to topple ‘Chronic’ Chris Page from his throne and capture the World Championship, for Dean James this meant seeking vengeance on ‘Chronic’ Chris Page for taking the championship from him in the first place in a controversial cage match that say interference and distraction from ‘Chronic’ Chris Page’s crony, Seth Stevens, as ‘Chronic’ Chris Page capitalized on the distraction. For Paul Frost however this match was set out for him to recapture past glory and once again become World Champion.
The match was a colossal success, a match that ended up being one of the finest between the four finest wrestlers in the WGWF at the time. However the result was not how Dean James intended it to be, the conclusion saw Paul Frost standing in the ring with the World Championship high above his head in triumph as Dean James watched on in envy as he saw he dreams and desires stripped from his grasp by his closest of friends. The envy that was present deep inside Dean James became too much, leading to Dean James attacking his Untouchables’ partner, Paul Frost, in the ring in a fit of envious rage.
The next week Dean James explained his actions as being the proverbial cutting of ties, releasing the noose and ridding himself of the package that held him down. Dean James wanted to be his own man, no longer did he want to be the second wheel of the ‘Paul Frost show’ and no longer did he want to hear the mention of ‘Paul Frost and Dean James’ as The Untouchables. The Untouchables were dead, it was his time to shine solo, enough was enough, it was time for a change.
However although he had cut his ties with Paul Frost he wanted to keep some form of friendship with Paul Frost. However all of that fizzled out later on that night when Dean James interfered in a Steel Cage Match between Paul Frost and ‘Chronic’ Chris Page with the World Championship on the line. As Paul Frost was exiting the cage through the door Dean James came by and slammed the steel cage door on the face of Paul Frost, costing Paul Frost the World Championship and proverbially slamming the door on their friendship forever.
The feud now cumulates at Armageddon V when the both of them square off against each other in opposite ends of the ring to settle a score and determine who is truly the ‘untouchable’ member of the former Untouchables team.
It is no question that many fans and wrestlers a like question the set up of the Armageddon V card, stating that the grudge match between former friends should most definitely be at the top end of the show. But wherever the match is placed it is sure to be the match of the night, everything to follow will sure have incredibly large shoes to fill, shoes that may essentially be impossible to fill by even the most legendary of wrestlers. This grudge match is simply one that no other match could measure up to.
It’s fitting that this pay-per-view is called Armageddon as for the most part it is truly the final battle between good and evil. Will good prevail or will the evil reign supreme in this extraordinary pay-per-view event? Only time will tell, and that time draws to a close as Armageddon V is only a few short hours away. Be sure to tune in to what could possibly be the event of the year.
