The scene opens on a pirate ship, the Seafury, anchored just off the coast of South Beach, Miami. The ship is alive with activity as kids and their parents, all excited fans of Jetta Tall-Tide, explore the deck. The ship's wooden planks creak underfoot, and the tattered Jolly Roger flag flutters in the ocean breeze. The kids, dressed in pirate hats and eyepatches handed out by the crew, are thrilled to be aboard their hero's ship, a special "meet your hero" event that’s part of the buildup to the upcoming Summer Madness pay per view.
Our adorable Pirate Lass stands at the ship’s bow, her tricorn hat perched proudly on her head, her dark hair cascading down her back, wild and untamed like the ocean. She’s dressed in her signature pirate attire, but there’s an added warmth in her eyes as she watches the kids run around, pretending to be pirates. Parents snap photos, capturing the magical moment of their children aboard a real pirate ship with their wrestling hero.
Jetta grips the ship’s wheel with one hand, smiling as she looks out over the crowd. She then steps forward, her voice rising above the excited chatter.
Jetta Tall-Tide: (Grinning broadly, her voice full of warmth) "Ahoy there, me hearties! Welcome aboard the Seafury! It warms me pirate heart to see so many brave young buccaneers ready to join me crew. Ye’re all lookin’ like true pirates today, ready to take on the fiercest of foes!"
The kids cheer, their excitement palpable as they gather around Jetta, eager to hear what their hero has to say.
Jetta Tall-Tide: (Kneeling down to be at eye level with the kids) "Now, I know ye’ve all been followin' the tale of Jetta Tall-Tide and the dastardly Fortunate Ones. I’ve got a big battle ahead at Summer Madness, and I’ll be facin’ off against Heather Harland, the mad scientist who thinks she can brew up victory in a bottle. But what she doesn’t know is that I’ve got the strongest crew in the world...each and every one of ye!"
The kids cheer again, some raising their toy swords and wooden cutlasses into the air. Jetta stands up, drawing her own cutlass from its sheath with a flourish, the blade gleaming in the sunlight.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "Aye, with ye by me side, there’s no storm we can’t weather, no enemy we can’t defeat! But before I go into battle, I could use a little help. Ye see, pirates don’t just fight with their swords... we fight with our words, too. So who here wants to help me give Heather Harland a piece of our minds?"
A chorus of eager voices rings out as several kids raise their hands, bouncing on their toes in excitement. Jetta laughs heartily and selects a few of the kids to join her at the front of the ship.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "All right, me young pirates, let’s show Heather what she’s in for. Step up and give her a good tongue-lashin'!"
A young boy with a pirate hat too big for his head steps forward, holding a toy sword aloft.
Young Boy: (With fierce determination) "Heather Harland, you better watch out! Jetta’s gonna send you sinking to the bottom of the sea! You can’t beat us pirates!"
The crowd of kids cheers as the boy steps back, and a young girl, her face painted like a fierce pirate, and with an eye patch bearing WGWF on it, steps forward next.
Young Girl: (Confidently) "Heather, you’re no match for Jetta! We’re gonna make you walk the plank, and then you’ll be shark bait!"
Jetta beams with pride as she listens to the kids, clearly moved by their enthusiasm. Jetta stands tall, her cutlass resting on her shoulder, her eyes scanning the crowd of young fans. She kneels down, inviting more of the kids to step forward, her grin widening as she anticipates their playful jabs.
Jetta Tall-Tide: (Laughing) "Come on, me hearties! No stoppin' now. Let’s hear what ye’ve got! Heather Harland’s got no idea what’s comin' her way!"
A boy with messy blond hair and a bandana tied around his head steps up, his face serious as he points a plastic sword toward the camera. His voice is high-pitched but full of determination.
Blond-Haired Boy: "Heather Harland, you’re like a ship with no sails... just drifting aimlessly! When Jetta’s done with you, you’ll be washed up on the shores, like an old, broken barrel!"
The kids burst into laughter, clapping their hands as Jetta chuckles, ruffling the boy’s hair.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "Aye, that’s the spirit! Ye hear that, Heather? Ye’re about to be shipwrecked!"
Another girl, this one with freckles and wearing an oversized pirate coat, eagerly steps forward. She raises her wooden sword, her face scrunched up in concentration as she tries to come up with the perfect insult.
Freckled Girl: "Heather, you’re like a crab with no claws! You might look tough, but when Jetta’s done with you, you’ll be running away, hiding under a rock!"
Jetta laughs heartily, nodding in approval. The parents watching from the sidelines cheer their children on, clearly enjoying the playful atmosphere.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "That’s a good one! Heather, ye’re goin’ to be scuttlin’ away, just like that clawless crab!"
A boy with glasses and a serious expression steps forward, adjusting his pirate hat. He clears his throat before delivering his line with the precision of a captain giving orders.
Boy with Glasses: "Heather Harland, you’re like a treasure map with no X... you might think you know where you’re going, but you’ll never find the prize! Jetta’s going to bury you so deep, not even a hundred maps could find you!"
The kids around him erupt into cheers and giggles, impressed by his clever metaphor. Jetta pats the boy on the back, clearly proud of her young crew.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "Well said, me clever lad! Heather, ye’re lost without a map, and I’ll be the one to bury ye!"
A girl with wild curls, dressed in a pirate dress, raises her hand eagerly, nearly bouncing with excitement. Jetta points to her, inviting her to step forward.
Curly-Haired Girl: "Heather, you’re like a ship made of paper…you might float for a little while, but as soon as Jetta gets ahold of you, you’re going to sink faster than a stone!"
Jetta and the rest of the kids laugh heartily, the energy on the ship growing with every clever jab. It’s not every day kids get to unleash on a member of the Fortunate Ones in such a way, so they're loving this. The parents cheer on their kids, capturing the moments on their phones.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "Aye, ye’ve got it right! Heather, yer ship’s made of paper, and it’s about to be sunk by the fiercest pirate on the seas!"
A boy wearing an eyepatch, clearly embracing his pirate persona, steps forward with a confident swagger. He raises his plastic sword, his voice loud and clear.
Eyepatch Boy: "Heather, you’re like seaweed caught in a net…you’re tangled up in your own tricks, but Jetta’s going to drag you out and toss you overboard where you belong!"
The kids cheer even louder, stomping their feet on the wooden deck in approval. Jetta grins from ear to ear, raising her cutlass high into the air.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "That’s the spirit! Heather, ye’re tangled in yer own web, and I’m goin’ to cut ye loose and send ye straight to Davy Jones' locker!"
A girl wearing a pirate hat that keeps slipping down over her eyes struggles to keep it in place as she steps forward. She giggles before finally managing to push the hat up, revealing a determined expression.
Hat-Girl: "Heather, you’re like an anchor that’s too heavy...you’re just going to drag yourself down, and Jetta’s going to sail right over you!"
The kids cheer, their laughter echoing across the deck. Jetta, clearly enjoying herself, gives the girl a high-five.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "Aye, ye’ve got it right! Heather, ye’re dead weight, and I’ll be sailin' right over ye to victory!"
A boy with a makeshift parrot perched on his shoulder struts forward, clearly loving the attention. He points his toy sword toward the camera with a dramatic flair like a mini Jack Sparrow.
Parrot-Boy: "Heather Harland, you’re like a parrot that only knows one word… squawk! But Jetta’s going to teach you a new one… ‘defeat’!"
The kids burst into laughter, their joy infectious as Jetta laughs along with them, playfully tousling the boy’s hair.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "Squawk, squawk, Heather! Ye’re goin' to be learnin’ the word ‘defeat’ real soon!"
As the last of the kids finish their playful taunts, Jetta rises to her full height, addressing the crowd with renewed energy.
Jetta Tall-Tide: (Raising her cutlass high) "That’s the spirit, me hearties! Ye’ve got the fire of true pirates in ye, and with ye by me side, I’m ready to take on any foe! Heather Harland thinks she can weaken me with her potions and serums, but she doesn’t know that the strength of a pirate comes from within...from the bonds we share and the courage in our hearts!"
The parents watch proudly as their kids get into the spirit of the event, their cameras capturing every moment. Jetta’s voice takes on a more serious tone as she addresses the camera, her eyes blazing with determination.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "Heather Harland, ye may have yer science, yer serums, and yer potions, but they won’t save ye from the storm that’s comin'. At Summer Madness, ye’re steppin' into waters ye can’t control. The ocean is wild, untamable, just like me and me crew! And when we clash, it’ll be like a tempest ye’ve never seen before!"
She steps forward, addressing the camera directly, with the kids cheering her on in the background.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "Ye think yer potions can weaken me? Ha! I’ve faced down storms that’d make the bravest souls tremble, and I’ve come out stronger every time. But this time, the stakes be even higher! The winner of our match gets a shot at any title they choose, and I know exactly what I’m after."
She pauses, her expression fierce, as the camera zooms in on her super adorable yet feisty fierce little pirate face.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "If I beat ye, Heather—and believe me, I will—I'm goin’ after the X-Division Title. That’s right, the title for those who defy limits, who fly higher than the rest, who ride the waves of destiny without fear. X marks the treasure spot on any a pirate’s map, so it feels like destiny. It’s also yer skeever friend’s title. That no good scally wag Amber Mansley."
She spits the name with disdain, her knuckles tightening around the hilt of her cutlass.
Jetta Tall-Tide: “That scurvy dog and Stooge Newton took me out of action, tried to send me back to Davy Jones' locker before I even had me sea legs on solid ground. But what Amber Mansley and you wretched Fortunate Ones didn’t count on was that a pirate never goes down without a fight. I’ve sailed through hurricanes, faced down sea monsters, and survived raids. A little injury? That’s just a scratch on the hull. I’ve come back stronger, fiercer, and more determined than ever to sink that wretched faction to the depths where they belong. And after I put ye down, Heather, I’ll be one step closer to claimin’ that gold as me own!"
She turns to the kids, her tone softening as she speaks to her young fans.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "And when I do, I’ll have all of ye to thank. Ye’ve given me the strength to fight, the courage to face any storm. We’ll show Heather and the Fortunate Ones that no matter how many serums she brews, no concoction can bottle the heart of a pirate."
A young boy in the front, clearly inspired by Jetta, shouts out.
Young Boy: "Heather Harland, you’re going down! Jetta’s the bestest pirate ever!”
The crowd of kids cheers once more, their excitement contagious as Jetta lowers her cutlass, her expression softening.
Jetta Tall-Tide: (To the kids) "Aye, that’s right! With ye all by me side, there’s no way we can lose. So when ye watch the match at Summer Madness, know that ye’re with me every step of the way. Together, we’ll send Heather and the Fortunate Ones scurrying like scalded dogs."
The kids gather around Jetta, giving her hugs and high-fives, their faces beaming with joy. The camera zooms in on Jetta’s face one last time as she looks into the lens, her proud pirate eyes filled with determination and a hint of a smile.
Jetta Tall-Tide: "Heather, at Summer Madness, prepare yerself for the storm that’s comin'. The Pirate Lass and her crew are ready, and we won’t stop until we’ve claimed our victory...and I’ve got me sights set on the X-Division Title. So get ready, Heather, because this pirate’s ready to make ye walk the plank… and these young buccaneers will be cheerin' me on all the way! So now, there be only one thing left to do, lads and lasses!”
Jetta points her cutlass into the air, the kids following her actions with their toy swords and weapons. They know what’s coming and in one voice strong declare…….”HOIST THE COLORS!!!!!”
The scene fades to black as Jetta stands tall at the bow of the ship, the kids gathered around her, their pirate flags waving proudly in the air. The final shot lingers on the proud pirate flag above the Seafury, a symbol of the unbreakable spirit of Jetta Tall-Tide and her loyal crew of fans, as they set sail toward victory and championship gold.
As the scene ends, Jetta glances out at the horizon. The memory of her recent mistake with John Cable surfaces. She had tried to help him by exorcising a demon he had kept contained for decades, not realizing the damage she was causing. The guilt gnaws at her, but she forces herself to stay focused. She has a battle ahead, and she can’t afford to let her past mistakes cloud her judgment.
Jetta takes a deep breath. As the song says, she still believes in John Cable. She knows she’ll have to find a way to make things right with him, but for now, her focus is on Heather Harland and the X-Division Title. The storm is coming, and Jetta Tall-Tide is ready to face it head-on!
AHOY!
