Hometown: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Height: 6'1
Weight: 201lbs
Alignment: Face
In-Ring Style: High-flying, technical, hardcore
Bio: Chase was once just a young man who wanted to wrestle. He was a bit naive, but had potential, and it showed when he won gold in the WCF just eight months into his career. However, his life outside the ring is a catastrophe at best, and it spiralled out of control just before he won aforementioned gold. It affected his wrestling development so heavily that he essentially hit a wall, leading to him losing his belt and floundering around without purpose or direction. So much so that he had even stopped wrestling consistently for two years save for a handful of special appearances. A lot has changed for the now married 28 year old. Some good, some bad. The events of his life over the past couple of years have only recently beginning to come to the light. From what we know so far, he had been dealing with a heavy depression before getting involved in a near-fatal accident. He has also been accused of murder, as well as conjuring a plan to [REDACTED]. Something about him has changed since his return to the ring in October of 2020. The happy-go-lucky optimism and enthusiasm of just being happy to be there no longer seem to be present. Psychological tests suggest that he may have alexithymia. If that is the case, we will definitely need to keep a close eye on him from week to week. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
/\Achievement unlocked: Bio part 2/\
Despite winning multiple titles and accolades in Action Wrestling(Hardcore, US, Tag, and the Trios Tournament), CJ's wildest journey has actually been outside the squared circle. In 2021, he began Project: Hope's Peak where he organized the construction of a high school in his hometown of Baton Rouge as well as a mental health facility in a different part of the city. The Academy has already seen one of its first graduates become a pro wrestler and is looking to achieve more. Additionally, CJ has partnered with FightSmart and their sports apparel as well as creating the Mirai Foundation, an organization designed to help others overcome the mental health stresses that live lays upon them.
And now for the flip side of the coin. The aforementioned near-fatal accident that Phoenix had from overwhelming depression? Not quite the case. It turns out that back in 2020, his phycologist(Dr. Sigma Field), who would later be discovered to be a mad scientist kidnapping, manipulating, and killing others all for the sake of recreating the world in his own image, ran him off the road, causing him to lose part of his memories. CJ would find out this horrid truth when he and Vanessa Rivers, a journalist and all-around assistant that he helped get into the business via referral, confronted Field. Prior to this encounter, Vanessa had previously been working for Dr. Field as his assistant. She wanted to get closer to him in order to find out what happened to her missing older brother, Syrus. Sigma would betray Vanessa after he altered CJ's memories, knocking her out and subjecting her to the same fate. Vanessa would later get stalked and tormented by a masked man named Zero, whose objective was to force Vanessa to be an accomplice to making CJ's life outside the ring as miserable as possible. In 2022, Vanessa found a video of herself that she made prior to the experiment, causing her to regain her memories. When she showed CJ the video, the two intended to confront Dr Field. CJ went on his own accord while Vanessa was brought there as a hostage by Zero, who would then be revealed to be Vanessa's brother, Syrus. Syrus/Zero regains his memories when he sees Dr. Field pull a gun on Vanessa, and takes the hit for her. Thankfully it wasn't a fatal shot, but it sent Syrus over the edge, causing him to attack Dr. Field and shoot him to death in order to protect his sister. So with all of that happening, not only did CJ Phoenix witness a point blank execution style murder, he also found out that the core of what motivated him to get back into wrestling and all of the things that he's done for the sake of bouncing back from a tragedy was a lie. He had been building a city of truths on the soil of false memories.
In November of 2022, CJ was injured due to an awkward landing during a match at Action Wrestling's Turmoil PPV, causing him, and tag team partner Spencer Adams, to have to vacate the tag titles. He's been using this time to deal with the drama and chaos going on in his life and in his mind. His return to the ring is inevitable, but what he does when he gets back is anyone's guess.

As the chorus begins, he covers half of his face with his hand. Then, he slowly lowers his arm and looks around at the arena. A sinister smile grows on his face as he walks to the ring.
