It's 1996. You're Eric Bischoff planning the nWo storyline. Hulk Hogan isn't available so who do you book as the nWo ring leader?

Fuck, I'm young and bad with timelines. Was Jericho in then? I'd say him lol.

Yeah, I'd probably go that route. WCW was oft-criticized for its over reliance on geriatric stars and not pushing the young guys enough for many people's liking. Jericho or even like fucking Eddie here would've been fun I bet.

I would have used sid as the leader of NWO. If not, Nash is good and decent..

Thinking about who would have been available and the original purpose of the nWo being a WWF invasion I'd have to pick Luger or Macho, mostly leaning towards Macho Man.
If I was bringing in someone unsigned I'd have to say the British Bulldog.

I've got a bold choice.
I'd give Ric that last spot. Have him turn on everyone, Four Horsemen included, to go full megalomaniacal heel with it.

It would definitely have to be either a hardcore WCW original or a WWF(E) guy at the time. So Macho, Luger, Sting, Flair would have all been pretty good choices I think.
