CCPE Arena @ The Velvet Rabbit Las Vegas
The words “EARLIER TODAY” appear on the bottom right hand portion of the screen to a MASSIVE ovation as CCPE can be see arriving at CCPE Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada in matching black track suits with gold CCPE lettering on the upper right shoulders lead by Chris Page and followed by Sebastian Everett-Bryce, Peter Vaughn, Bam Miller, Mark Flynn, Fred Debonair, Joe Montuori, Lux, Holden Ross, Mac Bane, and finally Thad and Sahara Duke.
The voice of Denzel Porter is heard.
DENZEL PORTER: The was the site earlier today when CCPE arrived to CCPE Arena here in Las Vegas, Nevada. Over 15,000 have jam packed CCPE Arena where tongiht the Best of The World meet the Best of the Industry! Who is going to leave with bragging right tonight… LIVE… at CCPE vs The World!
Fading inside CCPE Arena the crowd explodes!
Madoka Kawada: The following contest is one fall, and it is for the Splat Multiuniversal Championship! It will be contested under Splat Championship Rules of Engagement. Introducing first, the challenger!
“Let the bodies hit the floor! Let the bodies hit the floor! Let the bodies hit the floor! Let the bodies hit the floor!”
The guitar rifts of “Bodies” by Drowning Pool blasts through the arena when a shout from a unit saying “Semper Fidelis!” before Alastair comes out slowly and methodically as he puts on a pair of dark-tinted sunglasses. He snickers at the boos, jeers and gestures that were given to him by the fans.
Madoka Kawada: Coming to the ring, hailing from Washington, DC, he is the former NFW Destiny Champion. This is Alastair Frost!
Alastair slips under the bottom rope and remained in the middle of the ring while waiting for his opponent as he gives the fans booing the middle finger.
Madoka Kawada: And his opponent.
The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal’s voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.
“YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!”
As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.
Madoka Kawada: In her second championship defense, she is the reigning and defending Splat Champion of the Multiverse! This is Crystal Caldwell!
“Smile Bomb” by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired “Burning Rose” Crystal Caldwell walks from the curtains. She slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside she kips up to her feet. She removes her Shoto inspired hoodie, hands it off to ringside. She awaits the start of the match.
Skylar Rayner: We are live with CCPE vs. The World and our first of two Splat Championship matches. As the referee goes over the rules of the match with the competitors, let me introduce my cohort for tonight’s festivities. She’s one of the stars of Madison Tower, currently airing on The Splat Network, Jazmin Davis.
Jazmin Davis: Thanks! I’m excited for this entire event, to be honest. Looking forward to calling out two great matches.
Skylar Rayner: The referee has sent the two competitors to their corner and the referee is calling for the bell and this match is underway.
The two competitors circle the ring. Looks like they’re going to lock up but Alastair takes a step back and gives Crystal the bird and the fans boo at this tactic. After a few moments of jawing at each other, they finally lock up. Crystal pulls it into a side headlock.
Alastair tries for a leg but Crystal pulls it back, so Alastair uses his size to force Crystal into the ropes. He pushes her off, she rebounds and knocks him down with a shoulder tackle. She runs the ropes, but Alastair drops down. Crystal comes to a stop and stomps on the back of his head and Alastair is hot as he gets to his feet to complain to the referee, rubbing at his nose that was smashed into the mat.
Skylar Rayner: A little trickery from the champ, but not illegal by any means.
Alastair has backed into the corner and Crystal motions for him to come on out. He steps to the center and gives her a shove. Crystal shoves him right back. Alastair grabs her and puts her in a headlock this time and grinds down on it. He spins around into a hammerlock, but Crystal reverses it into a hammerlock of her own.
Alastair forces them into the ropes and pushes Crystal off, Crystal with another shoulder block. She goes to the ropes, Alastair drops down, Crystal goes over, rebounds and Alastair leaps up and tries for a hip toss, but Crystal reverses it and puts Alastair down with a hip toss of her own. She grabs the arm applying an armbar.
Alastair rolls over and gets to his feet. Crystal maintains her hold on his arm as he pushes her into the corner. She steps up onto the second turnbuckle, releases the armbar and delivers several punches to the forehead, forcing Alastair back several steps and she puts him down with a punch to the jaw. Alastair gets to his feet, but gets another punch for his trouble that sends him between the ropes and to the floor.
Jazmin Davis: The referee admonishing Crystal for those punches, still illegal inside of the ring, though it’s been years since I saw anyone disqualified for using them.
Alastair is getting back into the ring, but met by Crystal who takes him over with a headlock. Alastair rolls her over onto her back!
One.
Two.
Crystal kicks free, rolling back over, then turns it into a front chancery to avoid the pinning predicament again. Alastair gets to a knee and soon they’re on their feet. Alastair muscles her into the corner and drives a forearm to the midsection and Crystal releases the hold, having the air knocked out of her. Alastair winds up and gives her a heavy shop across the chest, followed by a second chop.
Crystal fires up and the start exchanging punches in the corner. Crystal fires Alastair across the ring and gives him a high backdrop and Alastair crashes onto the mat. Crystal puts him in another headlock, flipping him over onto his back.
One.
Two.
Alastair rolls off the shoulder.
Skylar Rayner: Alastair off to a rough start right now and Crystal appears to be on fire here today.
Alastair gets to his knees and then his feet. He lifts up Crystal into the air and falls back, dropping her on the back of her head with a back suplex.
Jazmin Davis: And that right there may have turned this entire contest around.
Alastair shaking off the cobwebs as he gets to his feet and backs himself into the corner as Crystal clutches the back of her neck on the mat. She gets to her feet and Alastair charges over, cross body block, sending them both up and over the top rope and to the floor.
Alastair is the first to slide back into the ring. As Crystal gets onto the apron and he grabs her by the arm and just drops down, slingshotting Crystal to the apron where she rolls into the ring, clutching her arm.
Grabbing the rope for leverage, Alastair stands right on that injured arm as Crystal kicks her feet, crying out in pain as the referee gives him a count, but he breaks before the five count. As the referee admonishes him, Crystal slowly gets up to her feet. Frost pushes past the referee and takes Crystal’s injured arm and lifts it up before punching her hard in the bicep. Crystal grabs at her arm and slumps into the corner.
Alastair stalks in, but Crystal fires off with a shot to the midsection. Alastair doubles over, but angrily drives a knee right into her injured arm. He grabs Crystal by the hair and pulls her out of the corner and kicks her hard right in that arm before twisting it.
Skylar Rayner: Alastair Frost is in full control here.
Alastair keeps the twist on that armbar, forcing Crystal to a knee. She tries to fire back with a few shots, but Alastair pushes her into the corner and wraps that arm around the turnbuckle, cranking hard as the referee counts, but he breaks before the five count.
He pulls her to the center, runs the ropes, but she drops him with a clothesline, but immediately clutches that arm in pain. Alastair uses the ropes to get to his feet and walks over, taking Crystal’s arm and draping it around the turnbuckle again and this time, kicking the ropes, not once, but twice.
Jazmin Davis: Not looking good for the champion here. She can barely use that arm.
Alastair whips her across, but Crystal reverses it. She charges in and nails Frost with an elbow shot to the jaw. She gets on the second turnbuckle and delivers several punches as the referee counts. Frost grabs her around the waist and brings her to the center of the ring, trying for an atomic drop, but Caldwell straightens her legs and punches Frost right in the nose and Frost goes down.
Cover!
One.
Two.
Kickout by Frost.
Caldwell to her feet. She goes for an elbow drop, but Frost rolls away and she lands hard on that injured arm. Frost gets to his feet and grabs Caldwell by the hair and drags her towards the ropes. He presses her face against the top rope and runs the length of it.
The referee is yelling at Frost for that tactic, but Frost doesn’t hesitate to grab Caldwell and do it again. As Crystal drops to the mat, he grabs her and runs the laces of his boots against her face.
Skylar Rayner: Are we looking at desperation here from Alistair Frost? Perhaps losing the Destiny Championship a couple of weeks ago is getting to him so he’s resorting to these dirty tactics.
Jazmin Davis: The crowd is giving him the business too. They are not happy. I haven’t seen a rope burn since I was a kid. And, oh no!
Alistair picks up Crystal and tosses her between the ropes and she crashes hard on the floor. He goes out after her, knowing anything goes outside of the ring. He pulls her up and presses her face against the steel ring post.
Frost tries to whip her into the guardrail, but she reverses it and Frost goes up and over, into the crowd. This allows time for Crystal to get back into the ring and recover. Security swarms around Frost, as he gets himself over the guardrail back to ringside.
Alastair rolls back into the ring by Crystal, using her one good arm to pull him up. She whips him across, but Frost rebounds and smashes himself right into her bad arm and Crystal drops, clutching at it in pain. Frost drags his thumb across his throat.
Skylar Rayner: Frost is gonna finish this!
Alastair hoists up Crystal for the GTS…
Jazmin Davis: Frost Warning!
However, as he gets her up, she maneuvers around, and ties him up in a tight cradle.
Skylar Rayner: Photosynthesis!
One.
Two.
Three!!!
The bell rings.
Winner of the match and STILL Splat Multiuniversal Champion: Crystal Caldwell!
Match Time: 15:21
Jazmin Davis: Crystal Caldwell retains!
As Crystal’s music plays across the arena, Frost rolls out of the ring, obviously upset at having lost this match.
Skylar Rayner: Nothing to be ashamed about at all. Alastair Frost gave Crystal Caldwell quite the beating here tonight.
Jazmin Davis: That win came right out of nowhere! I won’t lie. Crystal is on her way to the Denzel Porter Invitation II where she’s gonna take on Hayley Fien.
The referee helps Crystal to her feet and hands her the Multiuniversal Championship. Using her good arm, she raises it high.
Skylar Rayner: We aren’t done tonight. We’ll be back for the Interstellar Gemini Championship match, but until then, enjoy the rest of the show!
*earlier today*
The scene cuts backstage, where the wrestler Shane Donovan appears to be on a mission as he marches down the halls, searching for something. He finds a random event staffer, grabbing them and pulling them over to him.
SHANE DONOVAN: Where’s Xavier Lux?
STAFFER: Uhhh…
The worker points to a nearby door. Seemingly satisfied with that answer, Shane releases them and walks over, banging on the door.
SHANE DONOVAN: Lux! We need to chat.
No one answers so Shane bangs on the door again. After a minute or so, someone answers the door, but it is not who Shane is looking for, instead, Paco “The Drinking Time Bomb” Perez answers the door.
PACO: Hey ese, I don’t know who you think you are, but you don’t go banging on people’s doors. Especially CCPE members’ doors.
SHANE DONOVAN: Whatever, you old lush, is Lux in there? Tell him I need to talk to him!
PACO: Uh huh, and you are?
SHANE DONOVAN: You know damn well who I am!
PACO: Right… Hey Xavier, I think Jackie’s dad is out here… he looks pretty pissed. I’ll be right back.
Before Shane can answer Paco closes the door. A pissed off Shane is now about to kick the door down when it swings open and out steps a smiling Xavier Lux.
XAVIER LUX: Jack! Man I haven’t… seen y- oh… you… You’re not Jack…
SHANE DONOVAN: No, I’m that guy you were supposed to be wrestling tonight before you decided to be all sentimental. What, saw a bunch of Hallmark movies over Christmas and decided to go with the flow?
Shane is visibly annoyed as he folds his arms, staring daggers at Xavier.
XAVIER LUX: Look man, I get that you’re mad, but you’re mad at the wrong person. You need to be mad at Jackie… You and I talked about the match but never really put pen to paper… Then Jackie reached out to me, I tried to tell her you and I had a match but she is very persistent as you know, and at the end of the day, she made a very compelling case and yes her match was meaningful to me. I hate to break it to you Shane, but she’s right. She’s more of a draw now, and the match was just more appealing not only to me but to Chris and CCPE.
Shane scoffs at the suggestion, shaking his head.
SHANE DONOVAN: That right? I suppose that makes sense. It’s CCPE versus The World, right? Let’s check the score card. I’ve beaten JMont, Mac Bane, *and* Chris Page, and Peter Vaughn and Bam Miller couldn’t get past a wet behind the ears rookie I trained. Yeah. I can see why not having me on the card would be appealing to Chris Page. So we have you being sentimental and the rest of your running mates standing with their tails between their legs. Got it. I see the grand plan at work. In that case, best of luck out there, I hope you fare better against her than the rest of your crew has in the past.
Xavier smirks.
XAVIER LUX: Sticks and stones man… etc., etc., again, you’re mad at Jackie, not me, but if this little temper tantrum makes you feel better, go ahead and keep throwing it. But you gonna have to do it alone, unlike you, I have a match to get ready for.
Xavier goes back inside his locker room and just as the door is about to close, someone stops it. Shane looks at the arm that just went past him to keep the door open and he sees that it is an ‘old friend of his’, Marcus Ka’Derrion aka retired Hall of Fame Wrestler aka former tag team partner of Xavier Lux aka a man that defeated Shane a long time ago in their only match, which happened to be for the GCWA World Championship. While Shane is surprised to see him, his mood doesn’t seem to improve much. Marcus, on the other hand, appears to be very surprised to see Shane here.
MARCUS KA'DERRION: Shane Donovan? Is that really you? What the hell are you doing here?
The look of surprise turns quickly into a scowl for Shane, although he takes a deep breath and recomposes himself before responding now that a new variable has been added into the mix here.
SHANE DONOVAN: Making a point, or will be. I heard you were done.
MARCUS KA'DERRION: Wrestling? Yeah… Came back a few years ago but only to tag with Xavier, we won the titles twice in GCWA… Best years of my life right there as a singles, you remember, right? Ha!
He pats him hard on the shoulder, a gesture Shane does not appreciate but lets slide for now.
MARCUS KA'DERRION: But for reasons I won’t get into with you, he doesn’t want to tag with me any more. So yeah, I went back to retirement… Got nothing else to prove, no one I want to wrestle.. And unlike Lux who’s making wishes over here for young kids, I’m perfectly fine running my multi-million dollar business away from this madness. But what about you? Don’t tell me YOU are still wrestling?
SHANE DONOVAN: Yeah, I do. Tagging with a new partner and keeping busy to drive up the profile of my wrestling school. Why, something wrong with enjoying the business?
There’s a tense pause, before Shane gives a dismissive wave, as if to clear the air.
SHANE DONOVAN: No, don’t mind me. I remember now, the business was never really something you were super big on, so it makes sense that you stepped away.
MARCUS KA'DERRION: Yeah, I did it to honor my daddy’s dying wish… I more than met the request I believe, to the point that I actually enjoyed the business for a bit… some of the matches.. Especially ours… man that was a good one huh?
Again Marcus slaps Shane on the shoulder, the opposite one this time. Shane looks increasingly annoyed at this as he looks between the shoulder and Marcus’ hand, but Marcus doesn’t seem to notice.
MARCUS KA'DERRION: But anyway, being in one hall of fame is more than enough for me… Look, I need to get in there and talk uh, business with Xavier. Maybe I’ll see you out there? Got me ringside tickets for this match with Jack Jr. You’ve done great with that kid, you should feel proud. Anyway, I’ll see ya.
SHANE DONOVAN: Thanks. I’ll see you later I’m sure.
Shane watches as Marcus goes into the locker room, glaring at the closed door.
SHANE DONOVAN: I’ll definitely be seeing you both later.
Shane then walks away as the scene cuts back to ringside.
The crowd pops as “The Big Ticket” Harvey Marx stands in the center of the ring.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is a CCPE vs The World match in which the loser must go to town and team with the winner.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing first, about to make his way to the ring… he is representing The World, he is “THE BULL OF THE NORTH” BUSTER GLOVES!
The lights go out. The sounds of music and a snorting bull fill the arena as smoke rises from the stage. The lights return and Buster Gloves emerges from the fog as the words "BUSTER GLOVES" play on the tron. "Burn", as played by Stabbing Westward, plays as blue and white lasers bounce around the room. Buster scans the audience. Stoic, bald and unshaven. He is... the Bull of the North. He checks his chin, by giving it two short punches with a black padded glove on his left hand. The letters W.I.F.E. (Wrestling is Forever) printed on the backside of it. Buster descends the ramp fist bumping fans, pointing to the cheap seats up top, and bouncing his head to the music. He crawls up the ring steps like a silverback gorilla, wipes his shoes on the apron and ducks in under the top rope into the ring. Then side hops a circle around the WGWF logo before coming back to center. He checks his chin one more time as he poses for the hard cam.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: And his opponent…
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Representing CCPE, he is “THE BASTARD” HOLDEN ROSS!
Holden burst out to the top of the ramp walking with a purpose toward the ring as Buster Gloves paces back and forth across the center of the ring. Holden reaches ringside, throws off his vest and climbs up on the ring apron where he steps over the top rope.
DENZEL PORTER: Here we go ladies and gentlemen Buster Gloves and Holden Ross are about to collapse where the loser will be forced to go to the other's home promotion and compete for a tag team title match, one of the more strangest stipulations I've seen .
TYLER CAGE: Yeah I'm not sure who's idea this was but it makes you think why these two would want to team together when they are about to destroy each other.
DENZEL PORTER: My guess is psychological warfare but lets get focused on the ring as the match is about to begin.
Holden goes for a quick close line but Buster moves out of the way and unloads on Holden with kicks to the leg. Holden backs up to try and stay away from his legs but Buster keeps coming at him and throws another kick but Holden grabs his leg but only for a moment as Buster twists his other leg around to deliver an enziguri to Holden that sends him falling back into the corner. Buster then runs at him and delivers a knee to face and ten followed by a bulldog out of the corner.
Holden gets up on one knee but Buster starts to wear him down with chops to the chest repeatedly, he then switches it up with kicks to the chest for a minute until running towards the ropes and bounces back toward Michael Hunter to hit a hurricanrana but Holden catches him and reverse it into a powerbomb and drives Buster down to the mat but keeps his hold on him and lifts him back up and powerbomb him onto the turnbuckle and Buster slumps down in the corner and Holden backs up now to the opposite side to get a head start to charge Buster and then hits a cannonball in the corner and smashes into Buster.
TYLER CAGE: Damn! Buster just got turn into some flap jacks.
DENZEL PORTER: Holden definitely just knocked the air out of Buster and has taken control of this match.
Holden picks Buster up and then tosses him to the opposite side of the ring. Buster grabs his back as he slowly gets up in the turnbuckle corner and then Holden comes running at him looking for a big splash in the corner but Buster moves out of the way and Holden hits his head and stumbles out of the corner and Buster unloads with punches and kicks that makes Holden back up to the ropes and then Buster backs up and close line Holden out of the ring. Holden lands hard on the floor and looks frustrated as he gets up by pulling himself up by the barricade and then argues with a fan that has a Buster shirt on. He then turns around to focus back on Buster but as he does Buster comes leaning off the top turnbuckle hitting a crossbody on Holden to the outside and then rains down some punches before getting up and beating his chest as he yells out towards the fans.
DENZEL PORTER: Buster Gloves is one fire tonight.
TYLER CAGE: Buster is doing any and everything to try and win this match, he knows it won't be easy to keep Holden down.
Buster beats on the back of Holden's back before standing him up and then tried to swing him into the steel steps but Holden puts his weight down and pulls Buster into him for a massive headbutt that bust open Buster as a cut forms on his forehead and blood starts to pour out. Holden then delivers a kick to the gut and lifts Buster up above his shoulders and then drops him across the barricade and as Buster's body hangs over the barricade Holden backs up and tries to damn near kick his head off as he delivers a big boot to the doom of Buster.
DENZEL PORTER: Good lord, Holden has turned Buster into a bloody mess.
TYLER CAGE: Buster is going to need some blood donated to him tonight.
Holden rolls back inside the ring to break up the referee count that had got to seven. He then rolls back out and lifts Buster up slowly by his throat and talks shit to him and then picks him up and looks to ram Buster into the steel pole but Buster gets his feet up to bounce off the pole and counter it into a tornado DDT. Buster jumps back up and takes a water bottle out of a fan's hand and pours it out on his face to clear the blood from his eyes and then tosses it back into the crowd and then rolls back inside the ring to break up the count and then right back out to climb up on the barricade. He then gets his balance before running the barricade and leaps off to hit a closeline to take Holden back down to the floor.
DENZEL PORTER: Buster giving it his all in this match.
TYLER CAGE: Buster has a fighting spirit but will it be enough to take down the monster Holden Ross.
Buster takes a knee across the face of Holden then lifts him and rocks him with some punches and then sends him face first into the steel pole abd then comea uo from behinds ans rama him again into the pole and now Holden gets cut open on his forehead and starts to bleed. Buster tosses Holden back inside the ring and then climbs to the top turnbuckle and waits for Holden to get back up on his feet. As Holden turns around Buster takes flight looking for a crossbody but a bloody Holden catches him and rams him backfirst into the turnbuckle and then a world's strongest slam on the mat.
TYLER CAGE: Holden just brought Buster's momentum to an abrupt stop!
DENZEL PORTER: Holden has changed the direction of this match.
Holden bounces off the ropes and hits a big leg drop across the chest of Buster and then an elbow drop and gies for the pin.

THR..
Buster gets the shoulder up and Holden shows more frustration as he slaps the mat and looks at Buster with disgust and then he turns his attention to the top turnbuckle and a sinister smiles cones over his face as he gets up and drags Buster over to the turnbuckle and then lifts him up and places him on the top turnbuckle and then makes his way up there with him and looks likes he's going for a superplex but Buster fights back as he throws some punches to the side of Holden and then nails him with a headbutt and blood flies across the ring as both them bleed even more now after that. Holden falls to the mat and Buster stands up on the top turnbuckle and does a cutthroat motion before leaping and nailing Holden with a flying headbutt and goes for the pin.

THR..
Holden tosses Buster off of him and the crowd can't believe it and neither can Buster as he looks over at Holden that's rolls over and starts to get up.
DENZEL PORTER: I don't know what else they have to do to each other for one of them to win this match.
TYLER CAGE: These two might just fight forever!!!
Holden gets to his feet and charges at Buster Gloves looking for a spear but Buster counter it into a super kick that sends Holden falling back but he staggers back towards Buster and Buster hits him with another super kick that sends him into the ropes and as he bounces back towards Buster he get scooped up and Buster show off his incredible strength to lift up Holden and then plants him in the middle of the ring with the The Obliterator (Burning Hammer) and Buster hooks both legs as the referee gets in position.

DENZEL PORTER: Buster Gloves strikes first for The World and is advancing to the Main Event!
TYLER CAGE: This is not the way CCPE wanted to start things off, and now Buster has several hours to sit back, rest, get his wound closed before coming back out and joining those that advance. He just better hope that he isn’t the only one.
Bcnacyberleague.freeforums.net / @bcnacyberleague
DENZEL PORTER: Folks, we are through all the intros, we’ve gone through all the pre-roll! There’s nothing left to do but get straight to the action!
TYLER CAGE: No cap, DP! We’ve got a crazy-stacked card, deadass. And the opening match? Fuckin’ fire, yo.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: The following match is a CCPE vs The World contest!
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing first, representing CCPE, he is “VENNOM” XAVIER LUX!
The lights in the building start to flicker, matching the opening riffs and drums of Disturbed's 'The Infection' which startles the crowd because of the song's fast start. The audience rises to their feet just as the pyro EXPLODES! As the lyrics of the song begin, "Venom" Xavier Lux steps out from behind the smoke left by the pyro. He stands there sporting his finest black and green gear and a black CCPE T-shirt.
DENZEL PORTER: Lux will tell you himself he’s disappointed by the year he had in 2022. Which is INSANE. We’re talking World Series of Wrestling Finalist! We’re talking a performance for Team CCPE at the Tara Fenix Charity Event where he eliminated Corey Black, cutting off a comeback by Team Black and playing a major role in his side’s victory. Venom’s 2022, by any other superstar’s standards, was PHENOMENAL!
TYLER CAGE: Venom ain’t just any other superstar, though, DP. He’s a three-time NLW champion! A one-time OCW World Heavyweight Champion! Xavier Lux has a legitimate claim to being one of the most decorated superstars in wrestling history.
DENZEL PORTER: Be that as it may, Lux has made it clear that he plans to make 2023 his most triumphant year to date!
Lux looks around at the crowd who give him a mixed reaction, not knowing which "Venom" is going to show up tonight. He begins taunting them and that lets them know it's time to boo the man with venom in his veins. Lux makes his way down the ramp, making it clear his focus is ultimately on the ring. Once he gets ringside, he hops on the apron, wiping his boots, showing respect to the canvas where he is about to practice his craft.
DENZEL PORTER: Fun fact: Lux has known his opponent since she was four years old. Cage, you think that’s going to impact Lux’s performance tonight?
TYLER CAGE: Anybody else? I’d wonder if the old gun might take it easy on the young buck? Venom, tho? I got a gut feeling, every time lil’ Jackie tripped learned to walk, he made a note of it. He’s committed to the art of combat.
He then tucks between the ropes and makes his way to the corner, climbs to the second turnbuckle and again just looks around at the crowd who is still giving him the business. He takes off his CCPE T-shirt, and acknowledges a fan here and there before picking one whom he tosses the t-shirt too. Guess he's not that bad after all?
The fan celebrates but fights off other fans who try to snatch the shirt away. He hops down as his music fades, the ref checks him and then gets ready for the match to start.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: His opponent, about to make her way to the ring and representing The World, JACK SULLIVAN!
“Out of the Black” kicks in over the arena PA system as the lights dim down to near darkness, with smoke beginning to billow out from the sides of the stage. After a beat a spotlight appears on the stage, where Jack Sullivan stands with her back to the crowd. She has a studded leather vest over her ring gear: white pants and a sports bra, with black flames along the sides of her leggings, with white kick pads over her black boots.
DENZEL PORTER: Here she comes! The sole heir of wrestling legend and NLW promoter, Jack Sullivan. Raised around the ring and baptised in bloodshed! Jack Sullivan!
TYLER CAGE: Holy shit, she is riiiiiiiiiipped, dawg.
DENZEL PORTER: Jack Sullivan, possibly of the best pure athletes in wrestling, and so young, so much room for growth and development. This match right here might be the biggest test of Jack Sullivan’s career-to-date.
TYLER CAGE: Shoot, DP. A match against a legend like Lux would be some wrestler’s biggest match in their whole lives.
After a few more moments, the young competitor starts to make her way down towards the ring, yelling to the crowd to egg them on to cheer. She then dashes down the ramp, sliding into the ring before moving to climb to the top turnbuckle to pose, only stopping when her music begins to quiet so she can turn her attention to the center of the ring.
DENZEL PORTER: What have these two got in common? Two second-generation superstars, with fathers who were wrestling legends in their own right! Two pure, technical wrestlers with an ability to get rough if necessary!
TYLER CAGE: What have these two got different from each other? Lux has about twenty years of experience on Sullivan. Also, Sullivan’s dad never tried to murder her.
DENZEL PORTER: As far as we know, Tyler!
The official directs Lux and Sullivan to the center of the ring.
Lux stretches out a crick in his neck. Sullivan is laser-focused on Lux, taking in this moment.
DENZEL PORTER: Must be eerie right now. To share a ring with a childhood hero of yours…
The official calls for the bell!
Lux starts to circle. Excited at the idea of locking up collar-and-elbow, Sullivan circle-steps herself…Both reach in for the clinch! Collar-and-elbow tie-up! Quick as a wink, Lux latches his mitts onto Sulllivan’s arm, twisting her hand behind her back into a wristlock! Sullivan tries to reach over her the back of her head to get a grip on Lux behind her, but Lux lifts her arm, increasing the pain and preventing her from twisting into range to grapple…
DENZEL PORTER: You can see the frustration mounting on Sullivan’s face. She’s let her hero lead the dance up to this point and it’s ended up with Lux taking control in the early-going.
TYLER CAGE: #Facts, DP. If Jack wants to have a chance, she’s gotta get the stars out of her eyes and turn the engine on.

Sullivan lays on the mat, cradling her ribs as the crowd chants her name! Lux scrambles to his feet in disbelief! He checks with the official and the official nods! He just lost! Lux shakes his head. He grabs onto Sullivan’s arm and hoist her to her feet! The crowd begins to boo! This was a great match and they’re concerned Lux is about to attack Sullivan after the match!
…Sullivan cradles her neck, falling back on one knee, her legs jelly, as Lux stands over her…
Lux grabs her arm…
…
And raises it.
The crowd is surprised at first, but quickly pops!
DENZEL PORTER: The World now has Two participants in the Main Event to CCPE’s none! CCPE has yet to get on the board.
Sullivan looks in disbelief, as her hero raises her arm to the crowd! He eventually drops it, but delivers a few sincere claps as he scrambles outside the ring, giving Sullivan some time in the ring to soak in the heat from the crowd. As Jack Sullivan plays to the crowd, Xavier Lux goes to ringside, where he finds his former tag team partner Marcus Ka’Derrion. As the two men begin to chat Shane Donovan leaps the barricade and storms over, giving Xavier a shove.
SHANE DONOVAN: We aren’t done.
XAVIER LUX: What the hell man?!
Jack Sullivan sees the commotion and walks over, climbing through the ropes and standing on the apron. Before she can act further, however, Shane grabs her leg and pulls it out from under her. This sends her crashing down, smacking her head against the apron as she falls to the floor.
DENZEL PORTER: What is Shane Donovan doing?! That’s his protege!
TYLER CAGE: Damn, I knew Shane was pissed, but not this pissed!
Lux moves to grab Shane, but Shane gives a mule kick back to catch Lux and cut him off. Shane then grabs Lux by the head and whips him face-first into the ringside barricade. Shane then moves to the ring, reaching underneath it and pulling out a steel chair.
SHANE DONOVAN: Didn’t have to be this way. Should’ve kept the original match.
DENZEL PORTER: Shane is not letting this go! He is really upset about Jack taking the match with Xavier away from him!
TYLER CAGE: Dude needs to get over it, it’s just a match!
The fans boo mercilessly as it appears as though Shane is about to attack the two prone competitors before he instead turns his attention to Marcus, driving the chair directly into the man’s chest. Shane then drops the chair, grabbing the man and hauling him over the barricade and tossing him into the ring steps. Shane then moves to shove the top stair away before laying Marcus across the bottom stair on his stomach.
SHANE DONOVAN: You all just had to steal my moment, didn’t you? Especially you, Marcus. You took my glory, and you didn’t even $&@!ing want it!
DENZEL PORTER: Wait, what?! Why is he attacking Marcus Ka’Derrion? He had nothing to do with this! He was just here to support Xavier in his match!
TYLER CAGE: Clearly there is something deeper going on with Shane and Marcus right here, dude has completely lost it!
Picking up the chair, Shane brings it down across Ka’Derrion’s back before he places it onto Marcus’ head. Shane then climbs up onto the apron, leaping off and stomping the chair down onto the laid out man’s head! By this point event security has arrived, and multiple men tackle Shane to try to pull him away from what he’s done.
DENZEL PORTER: Oh my God! What a brutal attack by Shane! And why? What is the reason Tyler?!
TYLER CAGE: I have no idea Denzel, I get him coming after Lux and Sullivan, but this attack on Ka’Derrion is completely unwarranted.
DENZEL PORTER: Fans we’re going to take a quick break as we restore order at ringside, we’ll be right back!

”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: CCPE vs The World continues with our next contest scheduled for one fall.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing first, representing The World, he is GOTH!
The words fade as we hear the Church bells cling before the guitar riff starts playing along with the choir singing. The music builds up to where finally Corey Taylor can be heard. The name Goth emerges upon the titan tron, but the man only walks out after Corey Taylor can be heard screaming the words: “I’m finally holding on to letting go!!” As explosions go off on the side of the entrance stage. Goth stares at the crowd as his fiancé Melissa emerges behind him.
Goth lifts his head upwards to the ceiling while extending his arms, a smirk emerges upon his face as he listens to the mixed reactions. After a few seconds he looks back ahead of him towards the ring walking slowly, totally ignoring the fans who are trying to touch him as he walks to the steel ringsteps. He gets on the ring apron before opening up the top and middle ring rope for his fiancé Melissa as she steps through them. He then steps in the ring and stares down his opponent/awaits his opponent as his music slowly fades.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: And his opponent…
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Representing CCPE, he is JOE MONTUORI!
See I believe in money, power, and respect
First You get the money
Then you get the muthafuckin, power
After you get the fuckin' power
Muthafuckas will respect you
Pyros shoot off like its the 4th of July. When the smoke clears, standing on the entrance way with a grin that all the fans cant stand. He walks down the aisle to cheers and boos and just laughs it off. When he gets into the ring, he climbs up the top turnbuckle, looks around then raises his arms like he is the king of the world.
The bell has rang as we see Joe Montuori and Goth stand in either neutral corner, staring each other down. Neither man wants to make the first move, realizing the stakes of this match is to qualify for the main event match later tonight in a Elimination Match. Goth walks slowly out of his corner as he circles J Mont who has gotten in the middle of the ring. J Mont starts to talk trash to Goth, who simply shrugs it off as he is not impressed by the tactics from the other veteran in the game. Goth slowly moves towards J Montuori, extends his hand to try a test of strength as J Mont finally accepts. Both men locks fingers, only to have J Mont kick Goth to the shin. This causes him to drop to his knees as J Mont starts to lay some heavy blows to the face of the man who represents Sin City Wrestling.
DENZEL PORTR: J Mont sure managed to trick Goth into that one!!!
TYLER CAGE: You could have seen that one coming from a mile away!!
The official starts to use the five count in order for J Mont to stop his onslaught on the face of Goth and so he does just before the count of five. He grabs the head of the man that is on his knees in front of him, pulls Goth up to his feet as he sets him up for a Snap Suplex, only to have Goth block it as he wraps his leg around the left leg of his opponent. J Mont blasts a few fore arms across the back of Goth before setting him up for another Snap Suplex, but once again it is Goth that manages to block it by wrapping his foot behind J Mont’s left leg. This angers J Mont as he blasts Goth across the back before whipping him in the ropes, there he sets him up for a standing Dropkick. But Goth has got the move scouted as he catches both legs, forcing J Mont to fall down on his back and Goth attempts to turn J Mont over on his stomach in order to lock him in a Boston Crab submission hold. But J Mont had it scouted as he desperately uses his long arms of his to reach for the bottom rope that his upper body was too close too to prevent Goth from putting in just mentioned submission hold. Goth lets go off the legs of J Mont after the man from CCPE was struggling in his attempt to break free from the grip, causing Goth to laugh as he moves towards J Mont and extends his hand.
TYLER CAGE: Hasn’t he learned from a few moments ago??
DENZEL PORTER: I think this time it is just a taunt from the Gothic One, showing Joe Montuori that he isn’t afraid of him.
Joe Montuori does not want anything to do with Goth’s attempt to act of showmanship as he rolls out of the rign and collects his thoughts. He walks around the ringside area while looking around him and badmouth some of the fans who are booing him, trying to lure Goth to get to the outside and fight him on his domain. But we see Goth calmly stay inside the ring, not buying the tactics from Joe Montuori as he listens to the ten count from the official who has already reached the count of four
Five!!!
Six!!!
Seven!!!
Joe Montuori gets on the ring apron, telling the official that Goth needs to back off or else he doesn’t want to get back in the ring. The official warns him that he needs to get back in the ring or else get counted out, but he quickly gets distracted by Goth as he tells him to stop the ten count as he wants to beat J Mont in the middle of the ring. Montuori looks around the ringside area and outside of it, shaking his head and gestures that Goth is an idiot before stepping back inside the ring as he steps through the ropes.
DENZEL PORTR: That wasn’t a smart move from Montuori!!!!
Goth immediately ambushes Joe Montuori from the moment that he has set his left leg back inside the ring. Blasting him across the back with double axhandles, this causes Joe Montuori to fall back into the ring, having his other leg stuck between the ropes as Goth starts to deliver series of Elbow Drops, where he drops the point of the elbow straight to the heart of his opponent before going for the cover.
1!!
Joe Montuori manages to kick out at the count of one, Goth immediately wraps his arm around the chin of Montuori as he has got him locked in a reverse chin lock. Montuori reaches over in an attempt to grab the hair from Goth, but gets warned by the official of the illegal use of hair pulling. Goth tightens the grip around the head of Montuori, who is trying to get to a vertical base by slowly pushing himself off the canvas and onto a standing position. Driving a few elbows in the midsection of Goth, who this way lets go off the headlock as Montuori runs the ropes. Goth attempts a clothesline, but Montuori ducks it and runs towards the opposite side of the ring. There he comes off the ropes and ducks another clothesline before stopping and kicking Goth in the midsection after the man has turned around and goes for a possible DDT.
TYLER CAGE: That was close!!!
Indeed that was close, but Goth had sensed the waiting arms to wrap them around his head and go for the kill. He had slid out of the ring and hits his hands across the ring apron, not belieing that Joe Montuori had countered him and early hit a very impactful blow towards him. Goth thinks over his strategy without taking his eyes off his opponent, who in his turn decides to stay inside the ring while taunting Goth to get back in. Goth decides to walk over towards the steel steps, casually stepping onto the ring apron and sets himself in motion to get bac into the ring as he pushes his upper body between the top and middle rope, only to quickly push backwards when he sees Joe Montuori charge in on him. Goth forces the official to get between them and anger J Mont a little in the process.
Goth finally steps foot inside the ring, forcing Joe Montuori to push the official aside and hammers away at Goth who by then has gotten upwards again. Blasting forearm shots in the corner before whipping Goth into the turnbuckles on the opposite side of the ring. Montuori follows it up by executing a running clothesline that drops Goth down hard on the canvas due to the impact of the blow. J Mont stands over him and grins before laying the boots to him and follows it up by choking goth with it as the referee starts to use the five count on the member of CCPE
TYLER CAGE: We are now getting to witness the unhinged side of Joe Montuori!!
DENZEL PORTER: Indeed, that is a side of him that is very dangerous. But we cannot count Goth out just yet.
The official reaches the count of four before Montuori relinquishes his boot from the throat of Goth, he turns around and tries to intimidate the official before turning his attention back to Goth. He grabs him by the hair and puts his throat on the top rope before sling shotting him to the middle of the ring and then prepares himself to execute a punt to the head of Goth as he slowly started to rise to his hands and knees. Charging in on Goth, but Goth somehow manages to move away as Joe Montuori hits nothing but air. He gets shot blocked from behind by Goth as he places both feet back on the canvas. Goth grabs the injured leg and starts to kick it several times before dropping a few elbow s to the inner thigh of Joe Montuori
TYLER CAGE: That Goth guy is surely vicious!!!
DENZEL PORTER: I told you that he is not a pushover!!
Goth locks the leg in a leg grapevine and pulls on it as Joe Montuori is trying to reach the ropes but fails. He then grabs the long hari fo Goth, only to have the official pull his hands away. Montuori drops both shoulders on the canvas as the official starts to use the three count
1!!
2!!
But Montuori manages to get his shoulders off the canvas before the count of three. He is about to reach for Goth once again, but Goth has gotten up to his feet and sets Montuori up for a Figure Four Leglock. Montuori manages to grab Goth for a small package after Goth leans forward to set him up for one of the oldest yet most effective submission holds in the book
1!!
2!!
Goth kicks out, he gets to his feet first and levels Montuori with a dropkick to the injured knee, grabbing his leg before tossing it in the air and blast it across the canvas. Montuori grabs the leg instinctively because of the pain and rolls around the ring. Goth grabs his leg and rolls him to the outside and drags him to the steel ring post as he slams the painful leg against the unforgiving steel.
DENZEL PORTER: Damn, I am not sure whether Joe can mount a comeback if he cannot get to his own two feet!!
TYLER CAGE: I am sure he will find a way…., right
Goth sets Joe up for another blast against the ring post, but Montuori pulls both legs back and sends Goth face first into the steel ring post as that causes his assault to be halted. Goth leans against the steel ring post as the official starts to use a ten count on him
One!
Two!
Three!!
Montuori drags himself towards the ring apron, rolls underneath the bottom rope to break the ten count. There he grabs something out of his pockets and stats to jam a pen against his knee cap, trying to let the blood flow through the leg a bit easier before tentatively push himself off the ring apron and lands gently on his own two feet. Shaking off his bad leg as he hobbles over towards Goth, who was playing possum and grabs Montuori and hits an Atomic Drop, before executing a picture perfect dropkick that sends Montuori into the steel ring steps as this gets the crowd all excited.
Holy Shit!!
Holy Shit!!!
Lets Go Montuori!/Let’s go Goth!!!
Goth grabs the head of J Mont and whips him back into the ring, he climbs the ring apron himself and steps through the ropes as he targets Montuori, grabbing him by the painful leg and places it on the canvas before driving his knee into the knee joint of Montuori. Then he wraps it in a leg grapevine and pulls on his ankle as Montuori is screaming in pain while reaching for the ropes, but once again he is too far away from it. He uses the pain to suddenly lift himself up, grabs Goth by the face before pulling him onto the canvas before using his free leg to kick him in the face.
TYLER CAGE: Good God!! Both men are pulling out all the stops!!!
J Mont crawls towards the ropes, using it to pull himself slowly to his feet as we see Goth starting to stir as well as he checks his face with his hands before turning his attention back to J Mont. Montuori slowly turns around first and sees that Goth is halfway getting to his feet. J Mont staggers over towards Goth, starts to pound away at his face with closed fists. Goth is too exhausted to lift his arms up in the air to block the punches and willingly accepts the beatdown that Montuori is giving him. J Mont grabs Goth by the face while grinning at the other hand before closing it to a fist and aims to strike Goth with it in the face as Goth grabs it with both hands. This catches Montuori off guard as Goth slowly gets to his feet while pushing the closed fist up higher in the air. Only to have Montuori kick him in the knee with his good leg before stumbling towards the ropes and comes over towards Goth, who catches him with a Spine Buster and plants J Mont nearly into the canvas before falling down next to J Mont as both men are gasping for air.
DENZEL PORTER: Please, don’t let this match end in a double count out.
The official is starting to use the ten count on both men as neither of them are moving
One!
Two!
Three!!!
We see Goth slowly moving over towards his side, using his arms to crawl over towards the ropes as J Mont is still not moving
Four!!
Five!!
Six!!
Goth is pulling himself up to his feet as J Mont is also starting to slowly stir towards the ropes on the other side of the ring.
Seven!!
Eight!!!
Goth manages to get himself to his feet and turns around as he sees J Mont is able to pull himself up just beating the count of ten from the official as he is now turning towards Goth. Goth senses victory as he charges towards Montuori for a running clothesline. But J Mont drops down to the canvas and pulls down the top rope. This causes Goth to fall to the outside as he is unable to stop himself at the last split second. Goth is leaning against the steel barricades as Montuori slowly rolls himself out of the ring and slowly staggers towards Goth as he grabs him by the hair and tells straight into the camera that he wants to finish Goth off inside the ring. There he drags him to the ringside area, rolls him inside the ring before slowly crawling underneath the bottom rope inside the ring. There he goes for the cover
1!!
2!!
THRE..
But Goth manages to kick out at the final second, this causes J Mont to look up in shock, giving Goth enough time to slap on his patented sleeper hold the Gothic Dream before wrapping his legs around the midsection of Montuori and locks in his dreaded submission hold inside the ring
DENZEL PORTR: Oh my God!! Goth has beaten many opponents with that move!! Will Montuori suffer the same fate???
We see Montuori’s eyes open wide, realizing the predicament that he is currently in as his arms are waving like a mad man possessed in the hope of grabbing the ring ropes for a rope break. Goth locks the legs around the waist even tighter in the hope to make J Mont pass out even faster as we see the eyes slowly start to fade on the member of CCPE.
TYLER CAGE: Chris Page is not going to like this if Goth is going to advance!!!!
The official checks in on J Mont, making sure that he still reacts to the official as he grabs his left arm and notices that J Mont is nearly out as his arm drops quickly to the canvas. He grabs it a second time and it happens once more as the result repeats itself from a few seconds ago.
DENZEL PORTER: As that arm falls down to the canvas one last time than the match will be over!!
But with a final surge of energy it is J Mont that uses all of his remaining energy to reach for the bottom rope as that forces the official to break the hold to much of dismay from the Goth fans. This causes Goth to maintain the grip on Montuori as the official starts to use the five count for Goth to finally break it
One!
Two!
Three!!
Four!!
Goth slowly lets go as he rolls away from Montuori, there he watches him as he wipes some of the sweat from his brow while catching his breath. His face is clearly showing the frustration of him wondering what he has to do to put Montuori away and advance to the main event later tonight. He slowly crawls over towards Montuori, grabs him by the head as he pulls him back to his feet, setting him up for his Chaos ADDT, but Montuori frees him out of the grip of Goth and sets him up for his JKO. But Goth pushes him away into the ropes, there he charges in on J Mont for a clothesline. But J Mont ducks and hits the JKO
TYLER CAGE: This got to be it!!!!
DENZEL PORTER: I will have to agree with you on that one Tyler!!!
Both men are on their backs in the middle of the ring, both aren’t moving as they are spent from the match that they are in right now. J Mont is slowly starting to move himself closer and closer towards Goth, only inches away from him before placing his hand on the chest of Goth.
1!!
2!!

”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: The following contest is a CCPE vs The World match!
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing first, representing The World… “TACTALIZING” LARRY TACT!
“Pieces of Man” by Drown plays over the arena speakers as the lights cut out. Royal blue lights flicker on the stage while golden spotlights scan the crowd before focusing on Larry Tact at the top of the stage. He opens his arms and puffs out his chest, soaking in the crowd’s reaction before bellowing and making his way down the ramp, the spotlight following him. As he walks, Larry critiques some fans at ringside as he walks to the ring. He pulls himself up using the ropes and walks slowly along the apron before wiping his boots and entering the ring. He stretches using the ropes, smoothes back his hair and bounces from side-to-side, ready to go.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: And his opponent…
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Representing CCPE, he is the SIN CITY WRESLTING World Heavyweight Champion, MAC BANE!
As the first cords of “The Enemy” by Godsmack begin to play, the big Texan is out on the stage. He is attired in all black, leather duster, trunks, cowboy hat and boots. He stares downward as the pyro erupts behind him and on both sides. The lights go out and then a single spotlight shines on him. He raises his head up to a more natural position and then looks to the sky. He raises both arms in the “Hook’em Horns” fashion and then snaps his arms back down by his side as pyro erupts from the ring post. He nods his head along with the music as he continues down the ramp and to the ring steps, he pauses there briefly as he stares out an enthusiastic crowd. He wipes his feet on the ring apron before finally entering the ring.
DENZEL PORTER: Its been a lot of action tonight and many great matches but there are plenty more left on the card including the next match-up between Larry Tact and Mac Bane,
Tyler Cage: Yeah this one is sure to be explosive Denz as these two are very respected household names across the pro wrestling scene and are going to do whatever it takes tonight to prove that they are better than the other.
DENZEL PORTER: I agree and I've covered both of these men's careers and they both have built legacies that many wish they could have and tonight for one of them they will add to their legacy and prove they were the better man on this day.
Tyler Cage: Giving me goosebumps Denz but lucky for us and the fans we don't have to wait long to find who is more legendary as that match is up next.
As soon as the bell ring Tact and Mac go straight at each other and begin to trade punches in the middle of the ring. Tatc, Mac, Tact, Mac, Tact, Mac, Tact, Mac, and then Mac again as he rocks Tact with a hard left and then a kick to the gut, and then Mac swings Tact towards the ropes. He bounces back Mac catches him with an elbow to the chaw and Tact drops to the mat and Mac follows up with an elbow drop and then lifts Tact up and tosses him into the turnbuckle corner and unloads with more punches and then as Tatct drops in the corner and Mac stomps him out for a moment and then lifts Tact up and goes to swing him into the opposite corner. Still, Tact reverses it and then rushes Mac but Mac fires out of the corner and lights Tact up with a closeline and then gets down on the mat with him and talks some shit.
DENZEL PORTER: These two came out swinging to start this thing off and now Mac is in full control.
Tyler Cage: Mac definitely came out motivated to win this match and now Tact will have to match his intensity if he wants to survive this match and give himself a chance at winning.
Mac now picks Tact up and throws him head first into the turnbuckle and then puts him in the corner and stands over him on the ropes and starts to rain down punches on Tact. Mac delivers some more punches until Tact throws him off of him and charges at Mac but Mac lights him up with a closeline and Tact gets right back up to only meet a punch to the face and get swung into the ropes and Mac hits an arm breaker and tries go for the pin but Tact rolls out of the ring.
DENZEL PORTER: Smart of Tact to get out of harm's way.
Tyler Cage: Yeah he's trying to put some distance between them but I don't think Mac is going to let him.
Mac catches up to him and bounces Tact's face of the steel steps and then tosses him shoulder first into the steel pole. Mac then tries to throw him into the steel steps but Tact puts on the brakes and reverses it and sends Mac now flying into the steel steps and then upload on him with punches and kicks. Tact rolls back in the ring to break up the referee's count and then back out to keep his assault up on Mac as he rams him back first into the ring apron and then plans him on the floor with a snap suplex.
DENZEL PORTER: Tact finally getting some offense in this match and now has Mac in trouble.
Tyler Cage: Tact definitely has turned the tables on Mac right now.
Tact kicks Mac in his and then elbows him in the back before throwing him inside the ring, Tact lifts him up and delivers stiff chops to the chest of Mac Bane and then follows up with a series of punches until Mac is up against the ropes and then slings him to the opposite side and Tact waits for him to come back but only for Mac to jump on him and take him down to the mat and ulaod on him with punches of his own and then Mac gets up to stomp him out. Mac talks some shit and then begins to twist the arm of Tact and then yanks it like he's trying to pull his shoulder out of place. Mac continues until Tact fires off a punch to the face and then sends Mac intot the ropes but Mac comes back with a closeline. Mac then hits the ropes and comes back talking trash before dropping an elbow across the face of Tact and then goes for the cover.

KICKOUT!!!
Tact gets the shoulder up and Mac immedetaley lifts him and fires off a punch and then slings Tact into the ropes and he comes back and he hits him with a spinebuster and then Mac gets up on the second turnbuckle and gives Tact the finger before jumping off but Tact gets his foot up and nails Mac in the jaw that sends him falling down tot he mat and Tact uses this time to recover. Tact gets back to his feet first and picks Mac up by his head and then hits a neck breaker on Mac in the middle of the ring and then follows up by dropping his knee into the back of the neck of Mac. He throws him into the corner and unloads with a series of punches and chops. Tact then follows up with some kicks to the gut and then the referee tries to tell him to watch he kicks to the groin area but Tact argues with him and gives Mac a chance to fire off some punches to get himself out of the corner and then goes to swing Tact to the ropes but Tact holds his weight and pulls Mac into a punch and then Tact bounces off the ropes and throws his shoulder intot he back leg of Mac to bring him down to one knee. Tact then slides out of the ring and goes to the side Mac gets up on and pulls his legs from up under him and drags him to the steel pole and then swings his leg into it repeatedly. Tact gives him a punch to the face and then swings his leg into the pole and then tries to pull both legs towards him so Mac's groin can hit the steel pole but Mac kicks him in the face and uses this time to pull himself away front he pulls but struggles to get up as the damage from the knee but Tact slides back inside the ring and takes Mac leg from underneath him again and then drags Mac leg over towards the ropes and places it on the bottom rope and then jumps up and comes down on it when his boot and Mac rolls around in pain and Tact continues to stalk him.
DENZEL PORTER: Tact is like a cerebral assassin that is breaking Mac down one limb at a time.
Tyler Cage: Tact knows it will be hard for Mac to kick out if he takes his legs from underneath him.
Tact slaps Mac on the back of the hand before lifting him up but then Mac unloads on Tact with a punch and then another but Tact kicks the damaged knee and knocks Mac back to one knee and then Tact comes from with a knee across the face and goes back after the knee as he slings his knee up and then down on the mat and locks in the figure four leg lock. Mac yells out in pain but shakes his head no to the referee if he asks him if he wants to tap out but while the referee's eyes are fixed on Mac, Tact uses this opportunity to use the ropes for better leverage and apply more pressure to the submission hold.
DENZEL PORTER: Oh come on referee do your job and stop Tact from cheating.
Tyler Cage: It's only cheating if you get caught Denz, Tact is just using the rules to his advantage.
Mac continues to shakes his head as he refuses to tap out while Tact continues to use the ropes to his advantage until the referee catches him and forces him to let go and Mac starts to drag Tact tot he middle of the ring and turns them over to reverse in the figure four into an indian death lock and now Tact is the one fighting for a way out of the subm mission.
DENZEL PORTER: Great reversal by Mac!
Tyler Cage: Mac has always had a great transition game.
Tact manges to get his hand on the ropes and the referee tells Mac he has to let go and after a few more seconds of inflicting pain on Tact he does. Tact gets up first and takes Mac legs from underneath him again and then drops his elbow over the damage knee over and over againa nd then tries to do it one more time but Mac kicks him in the face and then staggers back to his feet and unlaos punches onto Tact and then tosses him into the corner and then bangs Tacts face against the turnbuckle ten times in a row before letting go and then swings him into the ropes and looks for a close line but Tact ducks and comes back looking for a close line himself but Mac nails him with a spinebuster.
DENZEL PORTER: MAC PUT ALL HIS POWER INTO THAT ONE!!!
Mac goes to the outside of the ring and stands on the apron and waits for Tact to stagger to his feet and as he turns around Max hits Branded (buckshot lariat) he damn near turns Tact inside out and instantly hooks both legs for the cover.

Centurion gets back up to his feet where he yanks Debonair back up, Centurion shoots Fred across the ring with an Irish Whip, Fred bounces off the near side where Centurion looks for a Tilt-A-Whirl back breaker attempt that Fred counters with a Tornado DDT!
Fred crawls toward Centurion and makes the cover.

TYLER CAGE: What is Fred going to have to do to keep Centurion down, fun fact with Centurion, he’s my broadcast partner in the WGWF on Monday Nights.
DENZEL PORTER: Centurion is a legend for a reason I’d suggest Fred stay on top of him.
Fred gets back to his feet and stomps down at Centurion’s body before reaching down and picking him up off the mat. Fred takes Centurion back into the ropes, he shoots him across the ring, Centurion bounces off the far side, Fred looks for a back body drop only to have Centurion put on the brakes, positions Fred and hoists him up and spikes him into the mat with a Piledriver! Centurion manages to roll Fred over and make the cover.

WINNER VIA PINFALL: CCPE’S FRED DEBONAIR
Match Time: 9:34
__________
Debonair gets to his feet where his arm is raised in victory to a mixed reception from the crowd.
TYLER CAGE: Chalk another win for CCPE up. If this trend continues it’s going to look ROUGH for the members of the World in the Main Event.
DENZEL PORTER: CCPE is cooking on all cylinders tonight, and you’re right Tyler, The World has to figure out what they can do to get back in this thing. A huge loss with Kido, and now a legend like Centurion are out of the mix.
Fred taunts the crowd before making his exit with a smile on his face. He winks at the camera while making his way back up the ramp.
@uprisingfed / uprisingfed.boards.net / Frozen Fury TOMORROW NIGHT featuring Griffin Hawkins vs Justin York
DENZEL PORTER: Coming up next, fans, is a match that is several months in the making.
TYLER CAGE: You know Denzel, if you look up the word backfired in the dictionary, you’ll see a picture of Easton Alexander.
DENZEL PORTER: Whether you know it or not, Thaddeus Duke was the owner of OCW before selling it just recently. During his time at the top of OCW’s corporate food chain, he found himself embroiled in a bitter months long rivalry with upstart Easton Alexander. Let’s take a look.
On the Tron, footage courtesy of OCW is shown from early in the summer. In a match versus Alexandra Calaway, Easton hits his Dragon Driver 98 (underhook piledriver) finisher. The move leaves Calaway temporarily paralyzed in the ring and on the shelf for several weeks.
The following week, in the waning moments of Easton versus Amick Dogeron, owner Thaddeus Duke interrupts the proceedings to inform Easton that his famed and feared Dragon Driver has been banned in OCW. This interruption led to Amick picking up the victory over the distracted Easton.
As the weeks rolled on, Easton and Thaddeus would continue to one-up one another until Easton was just about at his breaking point. Still on the shelf after surgery, Thaddeus was unable to engage in physical activity, but Easton called him out anyway. Never one to back down from a challenge, Thaddeus appeared. After exchanging some heated words, Cyrus Braddock, Thaddeus Duke’s hired goon, would level Easton Alexander.
In the following weeks, Easton would reign victorious in a one on one contest versus Cyrus Braddock leading to the announcement that Thaddeus Duke was now cleared. The two men would fight it out right on Massacre which led to Easton planting Thaddeus with the vaunted Dragon Driver.
After nursing his neck for weeks, the rivalry finally came to a head. Desperate to get his hands on Thaddeus, Easton did the unthinkable and kidnapped Thaddeus and Sahara’s then-11 year old son Frankie. Culminating in a showdown in a darkened city park, Thaddeus rolled up with a pistol in hand to procure the return of his son. After a short exchange, Thaddeus was tased in the back from behind by Easton’s protege Moonlight Rose rendering him defenseless on the ground.
The two would finally come to battle in Thaddeus Duke’s own private playground, House of Horrors (elimination chamber, timed pods with various weapons.) After a hellacious battle, Thaddeus Duke’s hands were raised in victory.
TYLER CAGE: As I said, backfired.
DENZEL PORTER: Desperation can cause otherwise good men to act out of character and there’s no doubt that Easton targeting the young Duke boy was a colossal miscalculation.
TYLER CAGE: You just don’t go after a mans kids, Denzel. That makes things just way too personal.
DENZEL PORTER: This tag team attraction will not be inside a House of Horrors.
TYLER CAGE: Easton and Moonlight ought to thank their lucky stars it isn’t. While Thaddeus Duke might be world renowned for his in-ring prowess and technical skill, he’s a whole different animal inside that chamber, Denzel.
DENZEL PORTER: Undefeated in that particular setting Tyler.
The bell rings, grabbing the attention of the commentary team and the fans on hand in Las Vegas. The arena darkens with a spotlight on the ring announcer.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: The following contest is a tag team match set for ONE fall!
The opening chords of ‘Meteor’ by SALTY DOG begins to play. The first lyrics.
‘RETURN BACK UP INTO THE SKY AGAIN.’
Moonlight Rose and Easton Alexander are illuminated by a spotlight on the ramp. The purple and black cape waving behind her as she walks to ring. Easton in matching gear. They high fives a couple fans on her way down to the ring. She climbs onto the apron and to the top turn buckle. Which cues the ring announcer.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing first representing The World, from Ontario, Canada with a total combined weight of 3 hundred 10 pounds. The team of Easton Alexanderrrr and MOON! LIGHT! ROOOOOSE!
After entering the ring, the duo is checked for foreign objects as Meteor fades out. Moonlight and Easton pace the ring awaiting their opponents.
DENZEL PORTER: While Easton Alexander has taken some time off recently, Moonlight Rose has not.
TYLER CAGE: No she hasn’t Denzel. She has been steadily rising through the ranks over at OCW.
DENZEL PORTER: The Duke’s making them wait here in Las Vegas.
TYLER CAGE: If you know anything about Thaddeus Duke and his gorgeous wife Sahara, its that you never give them what they want exactly when they want it.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: And their opponents…
The house lights fade down, leaving the stage lit in gold lighting. Las Vegas immediately throws out a mixed reaction. From the darkness, a male African lion pads on stage. The big brute of a cat paces the stage like a caged animal before emitting a huge roar.
DENZEL PORTER: Lionheart isn’t just a nickname as evidenced by that actual lion.
TYLER CAGE: Put some respect on his name Denzel, that’s Mufasa.
THADDEUS DUKE VOICEOVER: No, there is only one royal family in wrestling.
‘Animal’ by Badflower begins to play throughout the CCPE Arena. Mufasa paces the stage as the intro plays. At the conclusion of the intro, Sahara and Thaddeus Duke enter from opposite sides and meet face to face in the middle of the stage. Each wears gold trimmed in black on white.
The Duke’s lock lips at center stage and as they do, the golden light fills the arena. Their lips part and both turn their heads toward the ring and Easton and Moonlight. Turning back to each other, they smile, before advancing toward the ring hand in hand.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: From New York City, with a total combined weight of 3 hundred 72 pounds… Representing CCPE, SAHARRRAA and THADDEUS DUUUKE!
TYLER CAGE: Only one royal family in wrestling, I love it Denzel!
DENZEL PORTER: These two have confidence dripping from their pores!
As the Duke’s reach ringside, they make a point to stop by ringside where their now 12 year old son Frankie sits surrounded by security before entering the ring.
DENZEL PORTER: Here’s a quick tale of the tape for Easton Alexander and Moonlight Rose. Easton stands 6 foot 1 and weighs 210. He’s 15-14 in documented OCW competition. He’s not held any gold as of yet to my knowledge. Moonlight Rose stands 5 feet tall and weighs 110. Trained by Easton Alexander, Moonlight currently has a 5-2 win-loss record.
TYLER CAGE: Sahara Duke has been in this business a long time, Denzel. She stands 5 foot 10 inches and weighs 155. Her current OCW record stands at 10-4 where she’s been their TransAtlantic, then Savage, now Paradigm Champion since early September. Her husband Thaddeus on the other hand, having made his professional debut at 17, comes to us today without a contract in any company. Thaddeus is 6 foot 1 and weighs 217. His career record sits at 62-26-1 and over the course of that career, has amassed 11 championship reigns spread across three different promotions.
DENZEL PORTER: So Thaddeus is a free agent then?
TYLER CAGE: You could argue he’s the biggest free agent on the market.
DENZEL PORTER: Someone out there will nail the right price to get him back in the ring full time.
As ‘Animal’ fades out, the two teams remove their entrance gear and come to the center of the ring for the last of the official instructions. Just as the referee orders both teams to their respective corners, Sahara sends a vicious right hand slap across the face of Easton Alexander. This action sets off Moonlight Rose as she dive tackles Sahara. Before the bell, the two women are engaged in a brawl on the mat.
DENZEL PORTER: Boy its real personal between these two teams, Tyler!
TYLER CAGE: The bell hadn’t even rung and Sahara fires the first shot!
Easton and Thad struggle to break the two ladies apart while the official fails to maintain control. After a short struggle, the two are finally separated. The enraged referee orders both teams to their respective corners.
DENZEL PORTER: It looks like Moonlight Rose will start things off for their team and…
Thaddeus starts to exit the ring but Moonlight Rose runs over and taps him on the shoulder before she backs away toward the center at the officials request.
TYLER CAGE: She wants Thaddeus Duke. Can’t say that’s a surprise.
Thaddeus re-enters the ring and he confirms from across the ring that Rose wants him to start the match with her. With Sahara and Easton on the apron, the referee finally calls for the bell to officially begin the contest.
Moonlight Rose walks circles around Thaddeus Duke. The cerebral veteran stands almost stationary, not taking his eyes off her. She stops circling him and attempts to tie it up but sends a swift kick to the side of his leg.
Thaddeus stands vertical and backs up a step. He smiles a moment and mouths ‘okay’ before the two tie it up in the center of the ring. After an initial burst from Moonlight, Thaddeus quickly and easily backs her into the corner. The official asks for and receives a clean break.
DENZEL PORTER: I’m not really sure how Moonlight Rose expected that to go.
TYLER CAGE: Thad has more than a hundred pounds on her.
DENZEL PORTER: …Is she…?
TYLER CAGE: She wants a test of strength!?
Thad can’t help but smile at her request and reluctantly obliges. With their fingers locked, Thaddeus easily overpowers Rose, twisting her arm. She counters almost effortlessly with a cartwheel and lands on her feet. He smiles and golf claps for a moment.
TYLER CAGE: The All-World athlete is impressed!
DENZEL PORTER: I can’t tell if she’s luring him or not, Tyler.
Rose motions again for a tie up. Less reluctantly, Thad agrees, and before they can lock elbows, she spins behind him, grabs him in waist lock, then takes him to the mat with a legsweep. Quickly he pops to his knees and applauds his opponent.
Back on his feet, the two lock horns one more time and almost immediately, Thad overpowers her and sends her down to the mat. Moonlight smacks the back of her head off the canvas and lays there with one hand clutching the back of her head for a moment while Thad retreats to his corner. He goes to tag Sahara but stops as he hears the official call out the ‘tag’ from Moonlight and Easton. Thad cranes his neck to see Easton enter the ring behind him.
DENZEL PORTER: It looked like Thaddeus Duke was about to tag out.
TYLER CAGE: Easton Alexander is legal for the other side though and he’s changed his mind!
The two lock horns in the center of the ring and after some struggle and jockeying, Easton backs Thad into the corner. The referee calls for a break and receives it. Easton backs away but Thad bursts from the corner. Easton attempts to counter with a hip toss, but Thad hangs on and flips to his feet, taking Easton down with an overhead hammerlock that stuns Easton.
DENZEL PORTER: That famed Thad Duke athleticism on full display here early.
Easton gets back to his feet and charges at Thaddeus. Thad though whips him to the mat with a headlock take down. Easton is quick to headscissor Thad but the Lionheart kips up out of it and is back to his feet quicker than hiccup. Easton is to his knees and its clear he’s a step behind.
TYLER CAGE: In their one on one last summer, Easton matched Thad step for step. That has not been the case so far tonight.
Easton walks a few steps on his knees to tag out to Moonlight Rose. Following suit, Thad tags out to Sahara.
DENZEL PORTER: A few minutes ago, it took three grown men to separate them and now, they’re the legal competitors.
The two bolt across the ring at each other. Learning from her experience with a larger opponent in Thad earlier, Moonlight goes against the grain and puts on the brakes and drops to the mat, taking Sahara down with a drop toe hold. Rose is quick to pounce on Sahara with a side headlock while sending fists repeatedly into her head.
Sahara is quick to power up to her knees and then a vertical base as Moonlight keeps the headlock locked in. Rose transitions to an arm bar and delivers a backward kick into Sahara’s midsection, almost doubling her over before spinning and sending a back elbow into the side of her head. Sahara falls to her hands and knees. Quickly, Rose locks her up and spins her over into a three quarter nelson pinning predicament.

2…
DENZEL PORTER: Sahara kicks out here in a quick attempt from Moonlight Rose.
TYLER CAGE: It’s a good thing, too! It happened so quick that Thad barely knew what was happening and it was already 2!
Back to her feet, Moonlight grabs a handful of the platinum blonde hair of Sahara, pulling her to her feet. She whips Sahara to the ropes, but Sahara hangs on. Rose takes off toward her, delivering a clothesline to OCW’s Paradigm champion and sending her up and over the top to the floor.
DENZEL PORTER: The husband that he is, Thad is quick to drop down and check on his wife!
TYLER CAGE: I’m still mad he got married. That dude had so much game, it was almost awe inspiring.
Moonlight remains in the ring for the moment as the crowd cheers her on. On the floor, Thad helps Sahara to her feet. Rose takes off toward the far side ropes and bounces off. On the rebound, she leaps through the ropes toward the Duke’s. Thad sees it coming at the last second and shoves Sahara out of the way, taking the suicide dive himself.
TYLER CAGE: Who says chivalry is dead, Denzel!? That man just sacrificed himself to save his woman!
Thad remains on the floor after taking the brunt of the dive and Sahara zeroes in on Moonlight Rose. Rose just gets to her feet as the referee’s count begins anew. Rose turns to find her but eats a boot to the face for her trouble.
DENZEL PORTER: Sahara just heard the count and slipped in and slipped back out to restart the referee’s count.
TYLER CAGE: Listen, regardless of the ups and downs of her early career and even in her time in the former FIGHT New York City, she’s married to a laser focused man now and that has to rub off. Her career trajectory is steadily rising up and despite what she might say, we all know she puts in the work.
DENZEL PORTER: Sahara is as skilled as they come.
Back on the floor, Thad still nurses himself back to health with Moonlight laying near him. Sahara eels back the protective floor covering despite protests from Easton Alexander still standing in his team corner. Alexander enters the ring and immediately, the referee is there to stop him and admonish him.
Meanwhile, Sahara lifts Rose to her feet then lifts and plants her head first into the exposed concrete floor with a piledriver to some ooo’s and ahhh’s from the sold out Vegas crowd. All of it behind the back of the official.
TYLER CAGE: Sahara could’ve been disqualified for that but Easton Alexander couldn’t help but fall for the game!
DENZEL PORTER: Moonlight Rose has proven herself as a tremendous competitor so far. She’s matched the Duke’s in lockstep all the way.
TYLER CAGE: Nothing against Easton but he’s been a step behind physically and mentally throughout this contest.
DENZEL PORTER: Like it or not, one Duke in particular has made himself comfortable living inside the head of Mr. Alexander.
Easton tries to point out what Sahara just did, but the referee won’t hear it. He finally retreats to the corner. On the floor, Sahara has made her way back to her feet. She smiles a sweet smile and blows a kiss toward her son before returning her attention to the masked Moonlight Rose. The referee orders Sahara to return the action back to the ring.
Thad is starting to get back to his feet after regaining his wind as Sahara lifts Rose and rolls her into the ring. Sahara follows her in and the count is broken again. Sahara is quick to hook the leg.
1…
2…
DENZEL PORTER: A near fall from Sahara as Easton was just about to break it up!
Thad is back on the apron now and calling for a tag. Sahara lifts Moonlight to her feet and tosses her to the corner containing her husband. Desperately, Easton tries to enter to help her out, but the referee is there to cut him off immediately. Behind the officials back, Thad uses the tag rope to choke Moonlight Rose as Sahara lays in some kicks and stomps. Easton retreats and the ref returns his attention to the action. Thad stands with his hands out.
TYLER CAGE: Smart, smart offense here from the Duke’s. Thad holding his hands out like he didn’t just spend the last thirty seconds choking the life out of Moonlight Rose!
DENZEL PORTER: Easton needs to hold it together because the Duke’s are fresh as daisies and double teaming.
Sahara tags in Thad and the Lionheart enters the ring as she pulls Moonlight away from the corner. The duo gives each other a kiss before looking at Moonlight and delivering a double super kick to the masked Canadian imported hero. Sahara retreats to the corner as Thad covers Rose while staring right at Easton.
1…
2…
Rose kicks out after another near fall. Thad gets to his feet and smiles at Easton, helpless on the apron as Moonlight rolls to her stomach. Thad reaches down and grabs a handful of the hair sticking out from her mask and pulls her upper body off the mat. The referee immediately admonishes him while starting a DQ count. With a shit eating grin across his face, Thad places his right foot against the back of her head and smashes it into the mat with a pseudo curbstomp, enraging Easton Alexander.
Easton immediately enters the ring and is again cut off by the official. Amid the distraction, Sahara is quick to re-enter the ring. Thad lifts Rose off the mat, then lifts and drapes her back first across the knee. Sahara leaps from the middle rope, delivering a guillotine style legdrop across the suspended Moonlight Rose. Easton retreats back to the corner and Thad retreats to theirs.
DENZEL PORTER: There was never a tag but you know referees in wrestling.
TYLER CAGE: If any young rookies are paying attention, play with their heads like the Duke’s are doing and you’ll go far.
Back in the ring, Sahara lifts Rose to her feet and takes her right back down with a dropkick. Again, Sahara pulls Rose to her feet and sends her into a neutral corner before following up with a Stinger-like splash. Not waiting for her to fall over, Sahara immediately whips her across the far side and again follows her in with a stinger splash.
For a second time, Sahara doesn’t let her fall and whips her from whence they came and one more time follows in with a stinger splash. Moonlight though, gets a burst of energy and side-steps Sahara. She hits chest first on the top turnbuckle and reels away before landing on all fours.
DENZEL PORTER: Here’s the opening Moonlight Rose needed!
TYLER CAGE: These fans are in a frenzy and Easton is beside himself!
DENZEL PORTER: Both partners reaching for their respective tags!
TYLER CAGE: I think Moonlight is closer though!
The fans are on their feet. Along with Easton, they’re urging Moonlight on to make the tag. Feet away. The tension in the arena rises with each step closer Moonlight gets. Just inches away now, and Thad enters the ring. The referee is quick to cut him off and send him back to the corner.
DENZEL PORTER: TAG!
The CCPE Arena pops huge as Easton enters the ring. Thad finally steps to the apron. Easton grabs Sahara by her hair but…
TYLER CAGE: Oh my God!
DENZEL PORTER: The ref never saw it!
TYLER CAGE: He’s ordering Easton back to the corner and this crowd is giving the official an ear full!
Amid the latest distraction, Thad enters the ring. He rushes across the ring entirely behind the referees back and he grabs Moonlight by her foot, dragging her back toward the middle of the ring. Easton tries and tries to point it out in protest but the official just isn’t having it.
TYLER CAGE: What we are witnessing here tonight is classic, old school tag team wrestling at its absolute finest!
After helping Sahara to her feet, Thad quickly exits the ring to reach for the tag. Easton begrudgingly exits to the corner as Sahara tags in her husband. Obviously in full view of the referee.
Thad lifts Rose from the mat that lifts her over his head in a gorilla press. He motions to one side of the ring as if he was going to throw her over the top. Easton protests and pleads with Thad not to do it. He even goes so far as to drop to the floor and start tracking Thad’s motions just in case. Thad don’t give a damn and sends Moonlight flying over the top rope to Easton. Alexander catches her. What he didn’t know was Sahara was mounting the turnbuckles. She soars through the air with a cross body taking all three of them down. It’s a bit of a soft landing though and all three competitors are getting back to their feet. Thad runs to the far side. After the rebound as he nears the near side ropes, the Lionheart takes flight.
DENZEL PORTER: Shades of his hall of fame father!
Thad clears the top rope with ease, delivering a tope suicida and dropping all four competitors. Thaddeus Duke is the first to his feet. After initially checking on his wife, he returns his attention to Moonlight Rose. He lifts her to her feet and brings her back to the ring and rolls her inside. He takes a moment to shake off the landing from his knee before entering.
On the floor, Easton Alexander and Sahara are slowly making their way back to their respective corners.
Back in the ring, Thad pulls Moonlight to her feet. He sends her to the ropes. On the rebound he lifts her up, spins and drives her to the mat with a ring shaking Double A spine buster.
TYLER CAGE: That’s a spine tingler right there!
DENZEL PORTER: Hook of the leg!
1…
2…
DENZEL PORTER: Save by Easton Alexander!
Easton drives a quick kick to the back of Thad’s head to break up the count. Quickly, he retreats back to the corner. Sahara enters the ring but the referee cuts her off. Thinking quickly, Easton doubles back. With Thad and his knees and one hand as he nurses the back of his head, Easton grabs him in a front facelock, lifts him to a vertical base, then plants him with a DDT.
DENZEL PORTER: Fighting fire with fire here and Easton has just guaranteed the separation Moonlight needs to make a tag that she so desperately needs!
Easton quickly retreats to the corner as Sahara steps back outside. With both legal competitors down, it’s now a race to tag out. Las Vegas is alive at the moment. The energy is being absorbed by the masked hero that has literally carried her team most of the night.
TYLER CAGE: This crowd is electric, Denzel! Moonlight Rose can feel it!
DENZEL PORTER: She is just inches away now!
Thad is on his hands and knees and looks back at Moonlight nearing the tag. He was almost close enough to make the tag to Sahara himself, but instead pops to his feet and rushes toward Moonlight. He grabs her by the ankle, juuuust denying her the tag. He drags her back a little and she spins to her back and throws a kick to his kneecap. Thad stops dead in his tracks but he won’t let go. She tries and struggles as her and Easton are just fingertips away from the tag. She sends her free leg right into the center of his chest and Thad drops her foot.
DENZEL PORTER: She’s free!
With one leap, she makes the tag to Easton Alexander to a huge pop from the capacity crowd.
TYLER CAGE: TAG!
Easton enters the ring with excitement and vigor oozing from his pores. The Canadian Dragon circles the ailing Lionheart at long last ready to go to war with his nemesis. Thad takes a step and out of nowhere sends a stiff closed fist in the left side of Easton’s jaw and is admonished immediately by the official. The strike stuns Easton.
TYLER CAGE: That was a real nice right hand, but at what cost?
The hard right sends a shock through Thad’s wrist that he’s now first to nurse. Turning his back to Easton, he tries to shake the sting from it. Easton nurses his jaw a moment, but spins Thad around and sends a right closed fist of his own to Thad’s jaw.
DENZEL PORTER: I think this is deteriorating quickly!
The punch rocks Thad backward and he falls to one knee and looks at Easton. Back to his feet the two are face to face and nose to nose. The crowd wants it. They want it bad. Who are they to deny the paying customers?
Thad throws a right. Easton is rocked backward before throwing a right of his own. Thad is rocked but throws another. Back and forth they go. Easton, Thad, Easton, Thad, Easton, Thad, Easton, Easton, Thad, Easton, Thad, Thad, Easton, Thad. The referee attempts to step in multiple times but every time, he’s forced to duck out to avoid a swing from either man.
TYLER CAGE: This is just a fist fight and I kinda like it!
At long last, the official pleads with Sahara and Moonlight to get Thad and Easton to stop their fight for the greater good of the match. The two women enter the ring and waist lock their respective partners, pulling them away from each other. The lull in the fight sees Easton with a swollen eye blood trickling from his nostril. On Thad’s end sees a busted lip and a cut on his left eyebrow.
The two men reluctantly agree to keep things in the confines of a shoot wrestling match. Sahara and Moonlight retreat to their corners as Easton and Thad lock horns in the middle of the ring. Normally these two might bring a stalemate due to their similar sizes but Thad has been the legal man for a while now and Easton backs Thad into the corner. The official calls for a break and receives it, albeit with hesitation. Easton backs up a step and Thad pounces with a hard open hand slap to an unsuspecting Easton Alexander.
TYLER CAGE: Somebody call his momma! That was some shit!
The slap enrages Easton as it would anyone. He dive tackles Thad to the mat and again the two are engaged in a brawl on the mat. Throwing lefts and rights, Thad and Easton fight to their knees. Still throwing lefts and rights, they fight to a vertical base.
DENZEL PORTER: These two just know each other so well, Tyler.
TYLER CAGE: And Easton is a smart guy so, I look for him to… do EXACTLY THAT!
Tyler Cage reacts to Easton ducking a punch and sending Thad to the mat with a back drop suplex. Slightly winded from the exchange, Easton works his way back to his feet. Thad meanwhile, works his way to his hands and knees before rolling to a seated position.
DENZEL PORTER: The Canadian Dragon strikes!
TYLER CAGE: Thad is trapped!
With Thad’s back to him and seated, Easton is quick to lock in a dragon sleeper. Thad struggles against Easton’s grip around his chin but it’s a useless attempt. Using his core strength, Thad bridges upward attempting to nullify the backward arch to his neck. Easton gets to a vertical base before dropping to one knee causing Thad’s head and neck to impact said knee in a counter to Thad’s counter.
Easton lets go of the hold and hooks Thad’s leg.

2…
DENZEL PORTER: Sahara was about to make the save but Thad kicks out at two here at CCPE versus The World!
Sahara is quick to retreat to her corner, desperate for Thad to make the tag. Easton gets back to his feet as Thad remains sprawled out on the mat. Easton reaches down and grabs a handful of the Lion’s mane and starts to pull him to his feet. In a last gasp of desperation, Thad quickly counters Easton into a small package.
1…
2…
DENZEL PORTER: That was too close for comfort as Easton Alexander kicks out here just in the nick of time!
TYLER CAGE: Thad is quick as hell isn’t he?
DENZEL PORTER: Very.
After verifying with the official that it was indeed only a two count, Easton exhales a sigh of relief before picking Thad up off the mat again. This time, he places Thad’s head between his thighs and underhooks one arm, then the other.
TYLER CAGE: Oh no!
DENZEL PORTER: Could this be the feared Dragon Driver!?
Easton, with Thad’s arms underhooked, he lifts Thad up but Sahara rushes in, spearing her husband in order to take both he and Easton down. Effectively halting the probability that Easton was going to drop Thaddeus Duke on his head.
On the other side, Moonlight Rose rushes into the ring. She flies across, hitting Sahara with a forearm and Sahara stumbles before falling through the ropes and down to the floor. Moonlight is admonished by the referee but she quickly retreats back to her corner, hoping to receive the tag.
Easton and Thad both remain down on the mat. The Canadian Dragon is in far better shape as he starts to make his way to Moonlight in their corner. Thad meanwhile, remains motionless as Sahara is down on the outside. On his knees, Eason looks back at Thad who is still down. He reaches out and tags Moonlight Rose to a huge pop from the crowd.
Moonlight enters the ring in a fury. Thad has made it to his hands and knees and she’s quick to lift him vertical. She attempts to whip him to the ropes but its reversed. Rose is sent to the ropes instead. On the rebound, Moonlight Rose hops to Thad’s shoulders, wrapping her legs around his head. Thad hangs on to her through the attempted hurricanrana. He powers her back up then plants her on the mat with a vicious powerbomb. He drops to his knees and covers her.
1…
2…
DENZEL PORTER: Moonlight Rose kicks out after a near fall from Thaddeus Duke!
TYLER CAGE: He’s going for the tag but Sahara is still down!
Thad is on his hands and knees near the Duke’s corner. He uses the ropes to help him get upright and vertical. Struggling to remain upright, Thad exits the corner with Moonlight Rose in his sights. She has since rolled to her stomach. Thad staggers and drops to one knee before popping back to both feet as he nears her. Reaching down, Thad lifts Moonlight to her feet.
Rose uses a quick burst of energy to break Thad’s grip and she hops onto his shoulders again. Wrapping her legs around his head, she takes him down with the hirricanrana she attempted earlier. Las Vegas is alive once more as the energy within the CCPE Arena courses through her. Quickly she heads to the corner and hops to the top rope. Taking a quick second to measure for distance, Moonlight Rose leaps…
TYLER CAGE: OTK!
Moonlight hits Thad with the corkscrew moonsault and she’s quick to recover and hook Thad’s leg.
DENZEL PORTER: Hook of the leg by Moonlight Rose!
TYLER CAGE: It might be over!
1…
2…
3!
TYLER CAGE: SAHARA!
From the outside, Sahara reaches under the bottom rope and rips Moonlight off of her husband. Rose spills hard on the floor. Sahara lifts her up and immediately delivers an exploder suplex sending Moonlight crashing into the steel ring steps.
DENZEL PORTER: What a vicious move!
Sahara quickly gets back to her corner after some shouting from the official. Easton Alexander meanwhile, is quick to check on his partner. In a rush to save her from a countout loss, he’s quick to pick her up and rush back near their corner before he rolls her into the ring.
DENZEL PORTER: Smart tactic from Easton Alexander!
TYLER CAGE: I’m sure that’s gotta be illegal, right!? All she has to do now is reach up and Easton can tag her!
DENZEL PORTER: Well, thems the breaks!
Back in the ring, Thad is inching his way to their corner while Moonlight Rose remains sprawled out and motionless near that one. Thad looks back and sees Moonlight still down and leaps for the tag to his wife.
Sahara enters the ring as Thad rolls himself to the apron. The White Widow vaults across the ring but as she nears Moonlight, Rose reaches up and tags Easton Alexander. Sahara is quick to put on the brakes as Easton enters the ring just as Rose rolls to the floor. Easton, nearly as quick as Thad is, uses Sahara’s momentum against her and shoves her shoulder, spinning her so that her back is to her. He’s quick to trap her in a rear waist lock but Sahara is becoming just as cerebral as her husband. She grabs the referee by his shirt and doesn’t let go as she sends one of her legs backward between the legs of Easton Alexander.
TYLER CAGE: Oh man! The ultimate Equalizer!
DENZEL PORTER: And she was smart enough to preoccupy the official!
Easton is stopped dead in his tracks as he falls to his knees while nursing his aching groin. Sahara vaults to the outside. Not waiting for Easton to stand, she uses the top rope as a springboard to leap inside toward him, nailing him with a superman punch.
DENZEL PORTER: Widowmaker!
TYLER CAGE: This one is over!
Sahara is quick to react as she covers Easton.

DENZEL PORTER: Foot on the rope!
TYLER CAGE: Man I thought she had him right there!
Sahara is back to her feet and all over the referee for his counting speed and the fact that Easton got his foot up. Returning her attention to Easton, she’s quick to make her way to the apron before climbing the turnbuckles. Meanwhile, Easton is quick to recover as he hops to the turnbuckles to counter. After a short struggle, Easton sends Sahara off the top and across the ring with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Sahara is sprawled out as Easton recovers from the landing. Back to his feet but winded, he’s slowly tracking Sahara. He grabs her by the hair and lifts her to her feet before placing her head between his thighs.
DENZEL PORTER: Could we see it!?
TYLER CAGE: If we do, it’s over. Literally zero people have gotten up from the Dragon Driver.
As he underhooks Sahara’s arms, smoother than silk, Thaddeus Duke flips over the top rope and nails Easton Alexander with the buckshot lariat!
DENZEL PORTER: The Lionheart!
TYLER CAGE: From outta nowhere with the Moneyshot Lariat!
Easton is sprawled out on the mat and Moonlight Rose is out of it still lying on the floor. Sahara flips on top of Easton hooking both legs.

DENZEL PORTER: This one is all over!
TYLER CAGE: Sahara and Thaddeus Duke take CCPE to another victory tonight as they take on the World!
Thaddeus helps his wife to her feet. They embrace briefly as Moonlight Rose makes her way back into the ring. With Easton still down, Sahara’s anger over the kidnapping of her son all those months ago still hasn’t subsided. She pounces on top of Easton Alexander and starts wailing away on him. The referee tries to intervene but Sahara doesn’t care. Thaddeus has to physically pry his wife from Easton.
As he does, Moonlight Rose lays on top of Easton in an attempt to cover and protect him. Alert and awake now, Easton sits up on the mat as Thad backs Sahara into the corner. It appears Easton calls out to Thad as Thad turns his head toward him. Moonlight Rose helps Easton to his feet. Thad approaches Easton.
TYLER CAGE: What’s he saying?
DENZEL PORTER: I can’t make it out.
In response to whatever Easton is saying, initially, Thad shakes his head. Negative. Easton pleads his case, whatever that may be and Thad hangs his head before looking back at Sahara. She seethes and rages, pacing like a caged lioness. She looks at her husband. He mouths the words “trust me” to her and she shakes her head in disgust.
Making his way to a corner, Thad points to his son standing at ringside in the front row, waving him in. Security helps the boy over the railing and young Frankie Duke makes his way into the ring.
DENZEL PORTER: I’m not sure exactly what we’re seeing here, but I do know that this is the first time Easton Alexander has seen young Frankie face to face since the incident back in the summer!
Easton drops to his knees to see Frankie eye to eye with the boys father standing guard behind him. It appears as if Easton is tearing up a little. Whatever Easton is telling the boy causes Frankie to start tearing up as well. Frankie nods his head and the boy and Easton embrace in a hug much to the delight of the masses in attendance.
Easton stands up and looks at Thad. Thad leans down and tells the boy to go to his mother. Perhaps shockingly, after a slight delay, Thad extends his hand to Easton Alexander. Easton accepts before raising Thad’s arm in victory. A moment later, Easton and Moonlight Rose make their exit, leaving the Duke family to have their moment.
DENZEL PORTER: I gotta say, good on Easton Alexander for taking responsibility for his actions against that young man.
TYLER CAGE: As a man, as a father, my hat is off to Thaddeus Duke for being man enough to let it die here tonight at CCPE versus the World.
