The gowns and tuxedos look extravagant as we zoom in on a marquee sign revealing that we are at the World Series of Wrestling finale. The stars and celebrities alike are buzzing as we see Samantha Voxx smiling from ear to ear. She has been one of the unsung heroes of this whole competition. She looks around a bit as she feels a tap on her shoulder. She turns around and sees no one as she hears giggling. Zara Ivory pops up and shouts “Boo!”
Samantha chuckles as Zara put her arm around Samantha’s shoulders. Samantha looks at her new friend. “Hey Zara. Glad to see ya here.”
Zara nods. “I considered not coming but we have all been working on this show for months so what would that make me if I weren’t here? I’d be a chicken and anyone who knows me knows I am anything but.”
Samantha nods and goes to respond as she feels another arm around her. “Ay there. You lasses are looking strikin’ if I may say so meself.”
It was the Ginger Ninja herself, Molly Hatchett. When this competition began Samantha didn’t think she had what it took to stand alongside names like Zara and Molly. She has slowly assimilated herself into the fold. She looks at Molly. “Hey Molly. Looking hot as always, yourself.”
Molly fakes a curtsy as Zara laughs a bit. “Molly, we have all been in awe of people like you this whole competition. I, for one, think I could take ya in a fight.”
Molly shakes her head. “Zara, that is one thing about you. You always speak your mind. Now, Miss Samantha o’er here. She is someone who is catching heat at the right time. She is catching attention on Twitter. She is on the up and up and I think tonight may be the night she fully accepts her place as a top tier talent in this business. I mean she outlasted names like Lexi Gold, Jason Cashe, Fred Debonair, and Zara Ivory.”
Zara shoots a scowl toward Molly before she speaks.”Samantha hasn’t seen the last of me. She and I are both in WGWF so we will be working together a lot. You know Molly, not all of us get the luxury of fighting Chris Mosh every week on TV. Some of us have to deal with real wrestlers like Buster Gloves and Mark Flynn.”
The two women keep glaring as Samantha breaks the tension. “It doesn’t matter who fights who. Tonight is about celebration. Tonight is about the World Serie of Wrestling and no amount of fighting will change that. Tonight we celebrate one another. Tonight, ladies, we drink!”
Samantha raises a flask to her mouth as she takes a huge swig from it. “Ayy Samantha. Whatcha drinkin on there?”
Samantha speaks softly. “Homemade raspberry wine. Aged for ten years. I make it myself and have for years. It is all I really drink anymore.”
Molly nods in approval as Zara speaks. “What can’t this witch do? She makes wine. Casts spells. Kicks arse! She is quickly becoming my vote for rookie of the year!”
Samantha blushes as Zara speaks. “I mean, she has been on fire. She is someone who quickly has taken social media by storm. I can’t wait to see her up close and personal in the WGWF West Coast Rumble. I am not in the match and thus can watch her closely and see just how bad ass she can be. She will be in there with some top notch competitors.”
Molly laughs like only the Ginger Ninja could and nods at Zara. “Yeah she still needs to prove herself in many facets of this business. She has a good head on ‘er shoulders. She will make an impact I am sure of it. She has the guts to do it and I don’t think she will go down without a fight. She has had every opportunity to give up and she hasn’t. She is a hell of a witch, and one hell of a bitch.”
Samantha laughs at hearing those words. She looks at Zara. “You know, the three of us here right now, would have never been thought of. Now we are all here, standing together, for the sport we all love and hate sometimes. I mean, we have all had ups and downs but we all keep getting back up and fighting for who we want to be. Molly, you have cleaned yourself up and made a huge impact in shaping the future for people like me who look up to you. Zara, you are a hell of a competitor and I am better for having been in close proximity of you.”
Zara blushes as she looks at Samantha. “Aww, Sam. You have outdone yourself on that one.”
Molly interjects herself into the conversation again. “Ya look up to me do ya? I mean, I am flattered but I never seen meself as someone to look up to. I have always had problems and I try to not let that influence others. Me demons have shaped me into who I am but that doesn’t mean I want to be a cause for others to have to wrestle with their demons.”
Samantha places a well manicured finger to Molly’s lips. Molly looks on in shock. “Shh. Molly. We all have our demons. Sweety I am a witch and a real one at that. I am someone who is always overlooked. Always let down. I am someone who isn’t pretty enough for the posters of companies or shows. I am too pretty for the outcasts. I am just… here. That is all there is to it.”
Molly shakes her head as she raises her voice a bit. “Oh shush. You are not just here. You are a fighter. A survivor. You are real and people don’t like real. Trust me, I know. I have been there. You and I are not so different and one day you will see that.”
Zara interrupts Molly. “Ladies it is time to start. We have to go in now.”
The three women all walk into the venue as the scene fades to black.

Shortly after the finale of the World Series of Wrestling we see Samantha Voxx sitting alongside the Sauce Boss himself. She has a smile on her face. “You know Sauce Boss, I never once thought I would be right here in the thick of the competition of the World Series of Wrestling. I never thought I would see my name listed among the greats and now, thanks to you, I have. I owe my career to you.”
Sauce Boss raises a hand to Samantha. “Samantha, you don’t owe me anything. YOU are the one who got you here. You are the one who impressed the judges with your day in the life compilation tape. You are the one who had top notch T shirt sales. You are the one who put in the work. All I did was give you a platform. Something away from the ring to show who Samantha Voxx truly is. You did this. Not me.”
Samantha interrupts him. “You opened my eyes to show that just because I am a witch, doesn’t mean I have to be evil. Doesn’t mean I have to hide myself away from the world. You showed me that I could use my spells for good in and out of the ring. Your platform strengthened me and my chakras to the point that I, now, know that I am stronger than I ever gave myself credit for. I am now ready to take on the world when I truly was starting to doubt myself. In the middle of this contest I was wrestling in WGWF and I sprained my knee. I thought I was going to be done for a bit. I was determined to get back into the ring because of the attention I was getting by being on YOUR show. I wanted to capitalize on who I was becoming. It isn’t the fame or the fortune. I am here to set an example and I think I did just that in placing fourteenth. I saw so many people upset that they didn’t get announced in that top ten tonight. I saw so many let downs yet, at fourteenth, I stood there applauding Peter Vaughn as I thought to myself, what can I do to expand on this moral victory I had tonight. I stood there watching tears fall as I was proud of myself. I made my commitment to this competition and I saw it through to the end. I saw the finish line when so many others cracked. They couldn’t do it. I could. I did. Could I have given up? Yeah. Anyone could have. The thing is I had more to prove to you, to the fans, and to myself. I had to prove that I was never again going to be the laughing stock of this business.”
Sauce Boss interjects himself. “You were never a laughing stock Samantha. You are someone who can quite literally take over this business if you so choose. You have the ability and the talent to wrestle. You have more charisma in one strand of your hair than sixty percent of this business does in their collective bodies. Samantha you are someone to look out for in the next few years. You are young and full of spunk and everyone you come in contact with loves it. Now go. Go spread your wings and let the world know just who Samantha Voxx is!”
Samantha smiles as she stands up and walks out of the office. The scene fades to black.

“Go spread your wings and let the world know just who Samantha Voxx is!”
The words from Sauce Boss has stuck with Samantha since they escaped his lips. Samantha gets out of bed and heads to her kitchen. She begins brewing a cup of coffee as she heads to the refrigerator and grabs some left over brownies from the night before. She grabs her cup of coffee and has a seat. She sips it as she sets the brownies down on the napkin in front of her as she looks into the camera. “You know, I have been struggling as of late. I didn’t know just who I was. I lied to myself and, in turn, I lied to each and every one of you. No more. No more will I lie to you. You can trust me at this point. Just like I can trust myself.”
Samantha begins pacing a bit as she continues speaking, her long black nightgown trailing her. “Now, I am for sure that I have just as much chance of winning the West Coast Rumble as anyone else. There are some top notch names in this rumble. Fred Debonair, Raion Kido, even Mr World Series himself, Peter Vaughn. I have been in close quarters with each of these stars recently and I competed well. I may not have won but I gave my all and have recently been in the conversation for someone who could be a dark horse here.”
Samantha walks to the window and looks out it as she sees the sunshine peering above the trees. She smiles wider as she speaks, this time in a cheerful manner. “Like the sun rising high above the trees, I am going to rise to the top of the wrestling world. It is inevitable. It is time for each and every one in the wrestling community to realize I am going nowhere. I am in this business and this company for the long haul and starting at the West Coast Rumble, I will begin earning my keep here. I will begin showing to Chris Page and the rest of management that I was not a waste of the money they paid me to come here. When I was in Wrestleverse I was slowly becoming a thorn in the side of each and every wrestler in the company. I was quickly becoming a problem in ALL the right ways. The men and women feared me and that is why they forced me out.
WGWF welcomed me with open arms and thus far I haven't been able to live up to the hype. That ends at the West Coast Rumble. I am sure so many of my coworkers are going to guarantee victory. Not me. I may win, I may lose but I won't leave the Rumble the same as when I entered it. I am going to keep maturing week in and week out. I am going to keep getting better.
Boys and girls. Let's get ready to Rumble!”
With that Samantha laughs as the scene fades to black.
Samantha chuckles as Zara put her arm around Samantha’s shoulders. Samantha looks at her new friend. “Hey Zara. Glad to see ya here.”
