The cameras are inside the home of Lexi Gold where she is seen in the living room area gathering some of her clothing items she no longer wanted and decided she would donate it to the Salvation Army, so there she stood throwing her belongings into one big trash bag. Somehow a hat landed up in the pile.
She picked it up and stared at it. She was not a fan of hats, so it obviously didn't belong to her. Instead, it belonged to Emily Sims. She remembered Emily stayed the night at her house awhile back, and must've left this behind. Instead of putting it in the bag, she decided to set it down on the coffee table. She froze when she heard a familiar voice from behind her.
? : “Don't lie deep down, you really want to burn it.”
Lexi turns around and notices Emily standing there with her arms crossed, anger in her eyes. Lexi is confused how she got inside the house, knowing all the doors are locked.
Lexi: “Emily, how the hell did you get in here?”
Emily: “You gave me an extra key. Do you not remember?”
Lexi looks around, not recalling ever doing that, despite how much their friendship meant to each other.
Lexi: “I never gave you a key, that is a lie, but I trust you not to do anything crazy. We should sit down and ta-”
She heard another voice again from behind, this time it sounded similar to her own. She is freaking out at this point. She turned around, and it was her only with black hair.
Other Lexi (with black hair): “Why would you want to talk with someone like her? She couldn't even accept your apology. I think she is mad she couldn't get the job done in that TV title match. That or she is jealous because you and Buster are friends.”
Emily: “Jealousy is not the issue. I'm upset that she cost me an important match, and I am having a hard time believing she is sorry.”
As this continues, Lexi squints her eyes out of anger after hearing what Emily said and responds back.
Lexi: “My apology was sincere. I went out there to support you as your friend because I knew how much that match meant to you, but shit hit the fan. I'm tired of having to explain myself each time. Believe what you want, Em…”
Lexi's Doppelgänger: “Time to make her pay.”
Lexi: “You aren't making the situation any better. I hate that you look like me right now. I feel like I'm looking into a mirror. It's creepy.”
Emily is quick to defend herself as she steps closer to the Doppelgänger. The two women are nose to nose now. Lexi watched on, not wanting no part of this fight, so instead she opted to turn and leave for the kitchen, but stopped midway when the room suddenly got quiet. She turned around and noticed they were gone. She must have been hallucinating the whole time. The situation was clearly getting to her head too much, so decided to call it a day by finding the couch and laying on it as she blinked her eyes slowly, trying to block out how real the situation seemed.
“It's not a secret that I haven't always had the best relationships with people whether it be friends, or former ex lovers, but I figured my friendship with Emily Sims was healthy enough that I wouldn't even have to question things, but I was wrong. Sometimes when you are angry, you want to put the blame on a certain someone, but unfortunately for me, I was on the receiving end of that.”
“I don't like this guilty feeling, but at the same time I shouldn't be nor will I allow her to disrespect me, or paint me as a villain of this story all because there was a mishap in the television title match. My villianess days are over. Emily, everything said and done towards you and Buster came from a place of good intentions from the start. Hell I was the better person by apologizing, but it seemed like that wasn't enough for you was it?”
“There is a missing piece to this story that has not been seen by the public and that is the accusations, so I'll be the first to tell the world since I doubt Emily will mention it. After Brawl went off the air, she stormed into my locker room and accused me of being her Twitch stalker and orchestrating this plan all because she found me lurking there on my phone, among other things.”
“I've been accused of many things throughout the years, but this has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Sweetheart, you've of all people know the shit I had to deal with involving my ex, so what advantages would I get out of making you suffer through it? There is none. It's all in your head. I do feel bad that you're going through that shit. However, if you're going to point fingers at someone, don't point them at me. I have my own demons to put away.”
“So, I guess the only way to settle our differences is to battle it out at the West Coast Rumble pay-per-view. You've been awfully silent since our Twitter altercation. I don't know what's going through your mind at this point, or what your game plan is, but you better have a good one, because if you don't, you'll leave the same way you left Brawl defeated and unaccomplished. That may be harsh, but I'm tired of holding my tongue.”
“Not discrediting how talented you are. I'm sure one day you'll have your moment to shine and win the big one. Unfortunately, the timing for that will not happen in this match in particular. Besides, I don't know which side you're bringing. The one who fends for herself, or the one who clings to her boyfriend and chooses to hide behind his shadow.”
“Going into this match, I intend to demonstrate that I can be successful alone and that I don't need a partner to carry me. I thrive when the pressure is solely on me. That being said, I have so much to prove. I came up short in my match against Benson and I beat myself for that loss, so that is why at the Rumble I'm using my failures that I've obtained over the months and redefining my success story. No better way to do that then with a win to start the new year off. While your efforts to stop my path will be applauded, it won't be enough to take me down and out of the equation. The fire in me has just begun, and it'll only lead to me rising to greater heights, turning my failures and setbacks into something special.”
