As the first cords of “The Enemy” by Godsmack begin to play, the big Texan is out on the stage. He is attired in all black, leather duster, trunks, cowboy hat and boots. He stares downward as the pyro erupts behind him and on both sides. The lights go out and then a single spotlight shines on him. He raises his head up to a more natural position and then looks to the sky. He raises both arms in the “Hook’em Horns” fashion and then snaps his arms back down by his side as pyro erupts from the ring post. He nods his head along with the music as he continues down the ramp and to the ring steps, he pauses there briefly as he stares out an enthusiastic crowd. He wipes his feet on the ring apron before finally entering the ring.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing his opponent…
Boos immediately echo out from all over CCPE arena.

CENTURION: Mac Bane has been waiting on this rematch for months! Tonight it finally comes full circle, hello everyone I’m Centurion being joined by Tyler Cage, and Tyler we’re kicking things off in a HUGE way tonight on the go home edition of Monday Night Brawl with Mac Bane and J Mont; Last Man Standing!
TYLER CAGE: The baddies are ready, I am ready, let’s F’N GO!
The crowd roars as the opening bell is rung. J Mont and Mac Bane gaze across the ring from each other while the crowd gets louder and louder to the point the building seems to be shaking. Mac comes out from his corner toward the center of the ring where he calls out J Mont! Mont starts to take several steps toward Mac before turning and exiting the ring to the floor which shifts the sold out crowd into massive boos.
CENTURION: And almost immediately J Mont is taking a powder like a chump.
TYLER CAGE: Or is Mont dictating the pace knowing how bad Mac Bane has been waiting on this return match? Not a bad move if I do say so myself.
Mont smirks at Mac Bane from the floor which prompts Mac to run and baseball slide out to the floor! Mont takes off around the ring with Mac giving chase! They cut around two corners of the ring before Mont slides into the ring quickly getting to his feet where he looks to drop and elbow on Mac who slides in after him only the cagey veteran sees it coming and rolls out of the way causing Mont to elbow drop the mat! Mac is up to his feet where he starts stomping away at the face and chest of Mont garnering a loud reception with each strike before Mac picks Mont up off the mat and laces him across the chest with a knife-edge chop echoing throughout CCPE Arena!
Mac follows up with a stiff right hand before being cut off by a thumb to the eye by Mont drawing heat from the crowd.
CENTURION: Mac can’t allow his sheer disdain for J Mont to cloud his judgement especially with this being a Last Man Standing Match. Mont is a trickster if their ever was one.
Mont lands a series of European Uppercuts knocking Mac back into the ropes. J Mont charges with a lariat that Mac ducks and elevates Mont over the top rope with a back drop attempt only to see Mont land on the apron. Mac spins around blocking a right hand and countering with a straight headbutt across the bridge of the nose! Mac then drives a shoulder block to the midsection where he then sling shots over the top rope looking to bring Mont off the apron with a sunset flip Powerbomb! Mont feverishly latches onto the top rope until he’s able to drive a right hand into the forehead of Mac causing Bane to lose his grip. Mont backs up against a ring post opposite of Mac who spins around in enough time to catch a Mont running lariat off the apron taking Mac down. The referee slips out to the floor and starts executing his standing ten count!
TYLER CAGE: Back and forth they’ve gone in the opening minutes of this Last Man Standing, but Centurion it looks like Mont has a plan of his own!
With the referee executing his count on Mac we see Mont toss the ring apron back and pulls out a black steel folding chair. Mac gets back to his feet at the referee’s four count before being whacked across the back with the Steel Chair! Mac tumbles forward toward a ring post where he turns around with his back against the post. Mont comes forward swinging for the fences that Mac evades causing Mont to smack the ring post with the chair to a sickening thud! Mac boots Mont in the gut causing him to drop the chair before driving him head first into the ring steps! Mac brings Mont around the stairs and hurls him into the security railing! The crowd erupts as Mac lands a lariat sending J Mont over the barrier and into the front row! The fans are on fire as we see Mac sizing up Mont who is getting back to his feet, Mac uses the security barrier as he leaps over nailing J Mont with the Buckshot Lariat nearly turning him inside out as he lands hard on the concrete floor! The crowd erupts nearly blowing the roof off CCPE Arena! The referee climbs over the barrier into the crowd where he starts to lay the count to J Mont.
CENTURION: BRANDED! Mac Bane landed Branded! Is it enough to keep J Mont down?!?!
Mac Bane snatches a beer from member of the crowd where he takes a huge gulp.
TYLER CAGE: Mac Bane is a little thirsty after that one.
The referee reaches a count of six before we see J Mont starting to stir. He pushes himself up off the floor and to both knee before he steps up to his feet at the eight count. Mac takes another drink from the plastic cup and spits it in the face of J Mont before hammering J Mont in the forehead with the cup sending the rest of the beer flying.
TYLER CAGE: I’m pretty sure that is alcohol abuse. Charge that man!
Mac snatches Mont by the head and takes him up to a tunnel on the floor. Bane looks to drive J Mont into the concrete wall of the tunnel, Mont puts on the brakes before counting with an elbow to the ribs of Bane. J Mont is the one introducing Mac Bane face first into the concrete wall before hammering him with another stiff European Uppercut sending Mac down the tunnel spilling into the backstage hallway. J Mont comes after Bane where he drives him through a closed door causing it to explode off it’s hinges sending both men spilling down on the floor of one of the enhancement talent locker room.
Mont has a mount on Bane as he hammers down with a series of right hands!
CENTURION: No place is safe inside CCPE Arena with these two!
Mont gets back to his feet where he turns to see some enhancement talent watching on. J Mont shakes his head before pivoting his attention back toward Mac Bane. Mac is pushing himself up to all fours when suddenly J Mont rushes forward with a punt kick to the head! J Mont screams at the referee “COUNT HIM!”.
TYLER CAGE: J Mont might have just turned off the lights for Mac Bane!
CENTURION: A vicious punt kick to the temple of Bane, the referee is at the three count.
J Mont starts talking smack at the enhancement talent while the referee continues to execute his count. The crowd inside CCPE Arena start to come alive as Mac Bane starts to stir at the six count. Mac pushes himself up and gets to his feet at the nine count to a massive ovation inside the ring. J Mont spins around seeing Mac Bane who clinches both fists. Mont and Mac meet in the middle of the locker room trading right hands back and forth! Mont drives knee into the midsection of Bane before taking him and hurling him into the laps of the enhancement talent sending them all toppling over a bench and down to the floor. J Mont snatches Mac Bane up by the hair and brings him back out into the hallway where he see’s a table set up alongside one of the walls. Mont drives Mac face first off the table! Mont brings the table off the wall where he directs his attention back toward Mac. Mont sets him up for the JKO! Mac counters by shoving Mont off in midair and sending him crashing through the table!
The crowd explodes as the referee starts laying the count to J Mont.
CENTURION: Mont goes through the table!
TYLER CAGE: There is NO love loss between Mac and Mont, and this Last Man Standing Match proves it!
The referee lays the count to J Mont as Mac Bane gathers himself. Mont starts to stir at the five count, Mac comes forward picking J Mont up off the floor knowing he was going to make it to his feet. Mac takes Mont back toward the tunnel where they make their way back out to the arena floor. Mac decks Mont with a right hand knocking him backward. Mac Bane looks for a running lariat only to have J Mont back body drop him on the concrete floor! The referee is right there to start laying the count to Mac.
TYLER CAGE: That splat you heard was Mac’s body smacking against the concrete. The body isn’t meant for that kind of impact.
Mac starts to stir at the six count causing Mont to shake his head as he screams at Mac “STAY DOWN!”. Mac reaches one knee where he answers Mont with a middle finger to a massive ovation from the crowd. Mont staggers forward kicking Mac in the chest before picking him up off the floor. Mont takes Mac back through the crowd toward the ringside area where he tosses him over the barrier and down to floor.
J Mont climbs over the barrier followed by the referee while the crowd roars with loud boos.
J Mont tosses up the ring apron and pulls out a piece of plywood with barbedwire on one side! The crowd immediately erupts with a “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!” chant directed toward the ring while J Mont carefully slides the plywood with barbedwire under the bottom rope and into the ring.
CENTURION: Dear god! Montuori is pulling out ALL the stops!
TYLER CAGE: That escalated quickly.
J Mont turns his attention back to Mac Bane where he picks him up off the floor and hurls him back into the ring. J Mont isn’t finished, he comes around the ring tossing the time keeper from their chair and snatches it, folding it. J Mont comes back to the ring where he slides into the ring under the bottom rope with the steel chair in hand. J Mont gets back to his feet with the chair as Mac Bane uses the ropes to pull himself up breaking the referee’s count.
Mac spins around in time to see Mont swinging the chair.
Mac Bane ducks away sending the chair bouncing off the top rope and bouncing back into the face of Montuori! Joe drops the chair as he spins around walking into a STO from Mac Bane landing awfully close to the plywood wrapped in barbedwire. The referee starts to lay the count to both men as they lay on the mat.
CENTURION: Both men are down! This has been nothing short of a pier six brawl since the opening bell.
TYLER CAGE: You really just showed your age with that analogy.
There is a massive “MAC! MAC! MAC!” chant echoing throughout CCPE Arena while the referee reaches the count of four. Mac and Mont start to stir at the six count as the chant gets louder and louder. Both men are up at the eight count shifting the chant into a thunderous ovation. J Mont swings with a right hand, Mac blocks and counters with a right hand! Mont swings with a second right hand, and again Mac blocks and counters with a right hand! Mont swings with a right hand that Mac ducks and counters with a Side Russian Leg Sweep sending both men crashing down into the Bed of Barbedwire!
“HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!” echoes throughout CCPE Arena.
CENTURION: My sentiments exactly!
TYLER CAGE: How much more can their bodies physically take?!?!?!
The referee looks on in shock before starting to make the count on both Mac Bane and J Mont. The crowd is on fire with everyone within camera shot standing and reacting. Mac starts to roll out of the barbedwire, his back laced open in several places. Mont slowly starts to stir as well. The referee reaches a five count before they’re able to free themselves of the barbedwire. Both men starts to push themselves up off the mat and each get to a vertical base at the nine count! Blood is flowing from various points on both of the backs of Mont and Bane.
Both men spin around toward each other with Mac coming toward Mont and walks into a snap powerslam.
Mont rolls over to his chest where he slowly starts to pound his fists on the mat as he calls for the JKO…
J Mont immediately pops up to his feet looking around the arena as he knows EXACTLY who that music belongs too.
CENTURION: Wait just a minute!
J Mont finally turns toward the entrance ramp to see walking out through the curtain.
CENTURION: PAUL MONTUORI!
J Mont is completely beside himself inside the ring as Paul Montuori stands at the top of the ramp with his hands on his hips and his eyes locked on his brothers. The Las Vegas crowd are going insane.
TYLER CAGE: What the hell is he doing here? J Mont looks like he’s seen a ghost!
J Mon walks toward the ropes looking up at Paul Montuori, still in shock of his arrival while in the ring Mac Bane has gotten back to his feet! Mont spins around and is met with a Code Breaker that sends J Mont back into a neutral corner! Mac gets back to a vertical base where he rushes into the corner eating a reverse elbow staggering Mac back out toward the center of the ring. J Mont explodes out from the corner looking for a JKO attempt, Mac shoves Mont forward sending him into the ropes, J Mont bounces off the ropes where Mac looks for the SUPERKICK!
J Mont catches the foot of Mac Bane!
Mont spins Mac around in a full circle and delivers the JKO to massive boos from the crowd.
CENTURION: JKO out of nowhere!
J Mont lays on the mat before rolling over to his chest where he starts pushing his body up off the mat and back up to a vertical base while the referee lays the count to Mac Bane. J Mont shifts his attention back to the top of the ramp where Paul Montuori simply shakes his head disapprovingly before turning and walking back through the curtain. J Mont, still confused by the appearance calls out for his brother who disappears through the curtain. The referee hits the seven count before Mac Bane starts to roll toward the ropes. The crowd erupts as Mac Bane rolls under the ropes landing on his feet just before the standing ten count can be made!
TYLER CAGE: Crafty thinking by Mac Bane!
J Mont is beside himself as he kicks the bottom rope while screaming at the referee. Mac Bane staggers around the ring toward the ramp as J Mont rolls out to the floor and gives chase. J Mont spins Mac around kicking him in the midsection that doubles Mac over. J Mont sets up Bane for a Powerbomb on the entry ramp only to see Mac counter with a back body drop sending Mont crashing spine first on steel ramp! The referee starts laying the count to J Mont! Mac Bane says screw it and picks J Mont up off the ramp. He nails him with a right hand sending him staggering up the ramp to the platform underneath the Jumbo-Tron. Mac Bane is cut off with a double thrust to the throat!
The crowd roars with boos as J Mont walks over to the side of the ramp and piers over the side.
CENTURION: What the hell is Joe Montuori thinking!?!?!
The boos get louder as J Mont turns back around where he makes his way over to Bane before scooping him up over his shoulder! J Mont turns and starts to make his way toward the side of the stage… Suddenly Mac slides down the back of J Mont while shoving him forward toward the edge! J Mont puts on the brakes just as he reaches the edge of the ramp! J Mont spins around where Mac catches him with the Iron Claw to the forehead!
CENTURION: SNAKE BITE!
The crowd roars as Mac Bane applies more and more pressure with the Iron Claw when he suddenly releases and backs away before delivering a Superkick that sends J Mont sailing off the side of the ramp down to the concrete floor crashing through tables in the process! The crowd erupts as J Mont lays motionless in the ruble of the broken tables. Mac Bane stands on the edge of the stage glaring down at J Mont while the referee starts to make the count with the crowd counting along.
There is no movement from J Mont as the count continues until reaching the ten count!
WINNER BY BEING THE LAST MAN STANDING: MAC BANE
Match Time: 26:54
TYLER CAGE: What a freaking WAR!
CCPE Arena is on fire as we see the referee raise the arm of Mac Bane in the air at the top of the ramp.
CENTURION: What a way to kick off tonight’s go home Brawl as Mac Bane finds the sweet taste or retribution over J Mont.
Mac Bane flips off J Mont who is now being attended to via EMT’s as Monday Night Brawl fades to commercial.
We cut to the backstage area, where we find a cheerful Lexi Gold wandering the hallway. The crowd cheers upon seeing The Golden Goddess She turns a corner until she spots the locker room of her bestie, Emily Simms. She opens the door and finds Emily, leg up, lacing up her blue wrestling boots. Typically, Lexi would react by running up to her and giving her a big hug. This time is no different. The two friends embrace in a hug before letting go and sharing a smile.
Lexi gets started first.“Hey girl, I don't know about you, but I'm pretty happy with our win on Dark. It was my first win here, I may add. I was thinking we could celebrate tomorrow before I head back to LA, grab a burger and a milkshake? My treat, of course.” Lexi smiles and takes a seat on the leather sofa, feeling over the moon with their victory. She’s pretty happy with how well their friendship is flourishing so far.
“Yeh, it felt nice to have some tag team magic for once. Seems like I haven’t been able to get over that hump. But now I’ve got this championship match tonight and it’s just a lot going on in a small period of time. But YASSS! I love milkshakes.”
Lexi rubs her chin and thinks for a bit.
“I'm sure we can find a good milkshake in this town, but anyway, business first. You got a big opportunity tonight to capture the Television title. You must be feeling butterflies in your stomach right now.” Lexi nods her head and smiles. She’s still a little upset about not being able to make it past Sonya, but she’s happy for Emily and the opportunity she has. She honestly believes that if anyone can pull off that big win, it’s her.
“Butterflies?! More like bullfrogs. You probably don’t know this, but this is the first championship match I’ve been in. It’s such a long shot, and I want it so bad. I just hope I don’t embarrass myself. The match means a lot to my dad. He’s had some health problems and I just want to make him proud while he’s still around.” Emily’s eyes turn glassy as she wipes a tear from the corner of her eye.
<SNIFF>
Emily cries and giggles at the same time, her mind miles away. “You’ve done this so many times, Lex. I want to win so bad. What kind of advice can you give me?
Lexi stands up and rests her hand upon her shoulder and looks her in the eye.
“Just bring your absolute best. Cholo, and Benson are at the top of their game and Ace Sky is a wild card with potential. You on the other hand have been busting your ass since you got here and I have seen your growth, so you got this. I'll be at ringside cheering you on.”
“You’ll be in my corner?!”
“Sure, why not?”
“I just figured I was on my own. Buster has that cage match and he won’t be in any condition to help me. There’s no way that Sonya doesn’t have one of her people interfere and it would mean a lot to me if you were there to back me up. So, thank you..?” Emily reaches out for another hug.
Lexi accepts the hug.
“I can't think of anyone else I’d rather see have her moment to shine. This is your night, girl. Hope you are prepared. In the meantime, I'll let you finish getting ready.”
Neither women notice Lexi’s cellphone fall from her pocket and tumble under the locker room bench.
Lexi lets go of the hug, and turns to leave for the door and exits the locker room.
Emily adjusts her ring gear, checking her makeup one final time in the mirror before packing up her things in her gym bag. She takes a quick selfie in the mirror to post on social media. Partly for the followers who have made her Instagram and Twitch pages so successful, but also partly to make her boyfriend Buster Gloves jealous. As soon as she hits send, he hears a vibration sound under the lockerroom bench.
Curious, she crawls under the bench and next to her bag, she finds a golden cell phone. “Oh, Lexi, you must’ve forgotten this.” she mutters to herself as she picks it up. She flips it over to check its face for cracks and scratches and that’s when it comes to life.
On the face of the screen, a series of notifications about Emily Simms. Way too many notifications about Emily Simms, from several different apps. And on her screensaver, a glowing white ‘L’ over a shimmering gold background. There’s a password lock on the screen. Curiosity gets the best of her and she tries to unlock the phone. After a couple failed attempts of spelling Lexi’s name, her dogs name, etc, she has a hunch. 1-4-7-8-9-9. The letter ‘L’. And to her surprise, the screen unlocks.
The camera rotates to a shot behind the phone, revealing only Emily’s reaction to what she sees. Then instantly, she looks around the room, stuffs the phone into her pocket, and runs out the room.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: The following contest is scheduled for one fall…
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing first, about to make her way to the ring, she is ZARA IVORY!
"Big Flip" hits the sound system and plays throughout the arena as dark red, silver, and dark purple lights begin flashing throughout. As the lyrics start, Zara comes bounding out from backstage with Marley standing behind her as the fans have a mixed reaction of cheers and jeers at the green-haired women. She takes her replica helmet off, her cousin by her side as the lights followed them along the path down the ramp. As she passes by fans, she can be seen making mocking faces at the adults that jeer at her though chooses a random little kid to give the helmet to. She slid into the ring with ease, jumping to her feet as Marley got in the ring through the ropes.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: And her opponent…
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: About to make her way to the ring, she is ATARA RAVEN!
The honeyed rasp of Atara's voice blares over the facility's PA in unison with those words appearing on the multitude of screens and displays littering the arena.
HELLO DOVES
The crowd pops and gets to their feet shouting in near total unison a single word.
OPA!
Arena lights start to pulse in time with the music and multiple vertical streams of pyro erupt across the front of stage. Strutting with purpose Atara emerges from the back taking spot centerstage atop the ramp. Posing for the camera, a wink and kiss is given to the viewers at home.
Grunge walking to the ringsteps, she climbs and stops at the top to posture again for her adoring public. Hand on her hip, the Grecian moves to the middle of the apron to blows a final kiss to the camera and enters the ring through the middle rope.
At the opening bell Zara charges across the ring, looking to take the action directly to Atara Raven. Atty sees her coming and sidesteps gracefully. Zara plows into the turnbuckle and stumbles backwards into Atara’s waiting arms. Atara throws on a standing sleeper hold and chokes Zara as she walks her back out to the middle of the ring, and then bends her backwards over her knee with a back breaker! She rolls Zara over onto the canvas, pinning her flat as the referee slides in for an early count.
ONE!
TW-
Ivory gets a shoulder up, and pushes Atara off of her.
CENTURION: Zara rolls to her feet. She’s got to find a way to stop Atara’s momentum from building.
Zara charges at Atara once more, arm outstretched for a clothesline. Atara ducks underneath and Zara rebounds off the far ropes and slingshots herself back at Atara. Atty prepares to grab Ivory with a scoop slam, but Zara leaps through the air with a corkscrew shoulder block. She smashes into Atara’s chest like a cannonball, sending her flying backwards and skidding into the corner of the ring.
TYLER CAGE: Is that the sort of thing you had in mind, Cent?
CENTURION: … well… yeah, pretty much.
Zara Ivory kips up in the middle of the ring, a large portion of the crowd cheering on the young and exciting star as she makes her way quickly and confidently over to Atara and lifts her up to her feet. Atara seems slightly dazed, and Zara takes the opportunity to deliver a powerful chop across her chest before hooking her head and DDT’ing her sharply to the canvas. Zara rolls Atara over onto her back and tucks her ankles and wrists in tight to make sure there’s no rope break coming. She covers Atara, and awaits the referee’s count.
ONE!
TW-
Kickout by Atara. Zara doesn't seem surprised, and quickly changes tactics. She grabs hold of Ataras right arm and tries to slip on a keylock and twist Atty into a kimura. Raven is quick to defend and rolls away from the pressure before tugging her arm out of Zara’s grasp and rolling back up to her feet. She backs away from Ivory, and slowly the two begin to circle each other.
CENTURION: I’m not sure that I would be trying to submit Atara in a spot like that. She’s got extensive jiu-jitsu training and a notable MMA career.
TYLER CAGE: She’s definitely spent a lot of time with James in her guard. If you catch my drift.
CENTURION: I do.
TYLER CAGE: Intercourse. My drift is “they do it”.
CENTURION: Thanks, pal.
Zara lunges for Atara, but Atara sways back and lifts her leg with a high kick that catches Ivory on the shoulder and stumbles her. Atara quickly bounces off the ropes and comes up behind Zara, bulldogging her to the mat. She pounces atop Zara and fishes for an armbar, but Zara is well prepared and keeps her elbow tight to her body. Unable to isolate the limb, Atty makes a quick cover.
ON-
Zara’s shoulder is up immediately. She shoves Atara off of her and rolls underneath the bottom rope and out of the ring. She looks up from the floor to Atara, who rolls her eyes. Zara takes a few steps backwards, leaning against the fan barricade and motioning for Atara to come out and get her. With a sigh Atara drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring, only for Zara to charge forward and dive underneath the bottom rope and back inside. Atara pops back up to the apron, giving chase, but Zara is on her feet and waiting for her. She leaps into the air with a beautiful dropkick that catches Atara clean on the chin and sends her crashing to the floor as the crowd gasps and groans. Atara Raven rolls on the floor, clutching at her hip and grimacing in pain. Eventually she’s able to crawl over to the fan barricade and grip the top of it, dragging herself up to her feet and turning back towards the ring.
CENTURION: Zara points at Atara, then sprints off the far ropes and charges across the ring!
TYLER CAGE: She hurls herself over the top rope and out of the ring with a suicide dive!
CENTURION: She-
TYLER CAGE: CRASHES AND BURNS! GODDAMN!
Atara sees her coming, diving out of the way and sending Zara smashing hard into the wall and flipping over the top of it and into the front row of fans. Popcorn and beer fly everywhere, the crowd exploding and leaping to their feet in unison.
“HO! LY! SHIT!”
“HO! LY! SHIT!”
“HO! LY! SHIT!”
Atara looks over at the barricade as the fans help Zara up to her feet and pat her on the back, cheering her on for her efforts. The referee urges both women back into the ring, and Zara woozily climbs over the railing and back to the floor outside the ring where she collapses to her knees. Atara crawls over to her and stands up, firing a quick knee into Ivory’s face before lifting her up and rolling her back into the ring. Atara straightens up, taking a deep breath and pushing her hair back out of her face before moving to the ring steps and climbing them slowly.
The fans cheer both women loudly as Atara climbs through the ropes and Zara climbs to her feet, albeit unsteadily.
CENTURION: Every mistake is costly. Every wasted movement is an opportunity for your opponent. This match is so close.
TYLER CAGE: That’s deep, man. You should write a book. Sun Tzu’s The Art of Wrestling by Centurion. I’d buy it.
CENTURION: But would you read it?
TYLER CAGE: Nah.
Atara lunges for Zara, but Ivory manages to push her away. Atara follows up with a low kick that chops into the thigh of Zara Ivory and leaves her yelping in pain. Atara uses the opportunity to lunge in again, this time grabbing hold of her and whipping her into the ropes. Zara slingshots back at Atara…
Spinebuster!
Atara hoists Ivory with a double leg and slams her to the canvas. The crowd explodes as Atara quickly hooks the leg, and the referee slides in to make it all official.
ONE!
TWO!
THRE-
Ivory gets a shoulder up to the surprise of Atara, and as Raven sits up on her knees Zara rolls slowly away from her. The crowd explodes, cheering her tenacity and urging her back up to her feet. Atara gets up and makes her way over to Zara, but Ivory quickly leg sweeps her back to the mat!
CENTURION: She caught Atara off guard there! Atty hit the back of her head hard when she fell!
TYLER CAGE: Zara is scrambling for the corner, pulling herself up on the ropes and climbing to the top of the turnbuckle!
CENTURION: This might be ill-advised.
TYLER CAGE: Violence Causes Silence!
Zara leaps off the top ropes with a frog splash, but once more Atara is ready for her and rolls out of the way and up to her feet, falling off the ropes. Zara crashes off the mat, bouncing up to all fours and howling in pain as Atara Raven slingshots back towards her and leaps with her patented flying knee.
The Judgement of Paris!
The knee lands clean on the side of Zara’s skull and topples her to the canvas. Atara pounces on top of her for the cover.
ONE!

THREE!
WINNER VIA PINFALL: ATARA RAVEN!
Match Time: 11:51
The crowd cheers loudly as Atara stands, the referee throwing her hand in the air as he music begins to play loudly over the PA system.
“OPA!”
Atara makes her way to the corner, leaning over the top rope and blowing a kiss out to the crowd who roar even louder.
Zara Ivory rolls over, pushing herself up slowly. Groggily she looks out at the crowd, then at the victorious Atara.
CENTURION: I’m sure Zara won’t be happy about her second loss here in the WGWF, but Cholo and Atara are both fantastic competitors and she took the fight to both of them. A match like that could have easily gone her way if one or two things went differently.
TYLER CAGE: She’s great, and she’s got big things ahead of her… BUT… my best friend's wife got it done! LET’S GOOOOOO!
Atara winks to Tyler from the ring, then steps out of the ring and climbs down the steps. Slowly she makes her way up the ramp, slapping hands with a few of the fans and stopping for a picture with a young girl in the front row. The camera follows her as she finally makes it up to the stage, offers one last wave to the crowd, and disappears backstage.
It cuts back to Zara in the ring, now on her feet as the fans offer her a round of appreciative applause for her efforts. She exits the ring, and we fade away.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: The following contest is a Fatal Fiveway where the winner will choose their entry into the WEST COAST RUMBLE match!
The crowd is on fire as there is a massive ovation that instantly pivots to boos.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing first, he is “THE KINGDOM” FRED DEBONAIR!
The arena lights go black and the video begins to play. Once the lyrics start, Fred Debonair steps out through the curtains and stands on the ramp as the place erupts into a chorus of boos and jeers. Fred closes his eyes, soaking up the hate as he puts his hands out and wiggles his fingers in a motion signifying he wants the crowd to keep it up. Laughing he makes his day down to the ring, rolling in under the bottom rope. Fred stands and hops up onto the turnbuckle, raising his arms, once again feeling the heated hate billowing from the crowd, he flips them off and drops onto the canvas as his music fades and the lights return to normal…
As Fred’s music dies down he walks around and requests a microphone from Denise Essex who duly obliges.
FRED DEBONAIR: “Okay before this all kicks off and I treat you morons to an undeserved piece of entertainment, I’ve got something to say about people talking where things don’t concern them… And this time thankfully for him, it’s not old Mac Donald, sitting on his farm!”
Fred turns and points directly at the commentators booth, looking extremely pissed off.
FRED DEBONAIR: “No, no… This time I’m referring to you, CENTURION! That’s right, recently I’ve gotten noise that you, like Mac and some others, were a little unhappy about Fred Debonair’s… Conduct? Behavior? Whatever you want to call it. However instead of coming and confronting me you’ve allegedly been talking behind my back like a bitch!
Apparently CENTURION here has criticised Cable, Mac and even Holden Ross indirectly by stating that had he been any of those guys when Fred Debonair said and did what he did, he would have laid me out. Well, you’re going to get a chance Cent! You see I’m still looking for an opponent or CCPE Vs. The World and what better way to prove your point by taking me on? So consider it booked and there’s no exit clause hoss! I’ll see you then! Now, back to your regularly scheduled broadcast!”
Fred drops the mic and walks into a corner, leaning against the turnbuckle.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: And introducing the next participant, about to make her way to the ring… SAMANTHA VOX!
The lights in the arena go out as a red light engulfs the arena. A burning sound is heard over the PA system before the opening to "What have You Done Now" by Within Temptation blares. Samantha Voxx steps out and smirks as she walks seductively to the ring, her hips switching with every step
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: And introducing the next participant, about to make his way to the ring, MARK “THE DRAGON” CROSS!
The arena lights dim as the bassline to "Blood" begins to rumble around the arena. As the guitar riff hits, so does the lights, revealing Mark "The Dragon" Cross standing, one fist aloft, at the top of the aisle. Receiving recognition from the crowd, he strides purposefully to ringside, taking a moment to survey the scene as he reaches the apron.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: About to make his way to the ring, JOHN “THE BEAST” CABLE!
"The lights dim around the arena and a hush descends on the crowd. The opening taps of drums and the beginning riffs of the guitar of Pop Evil's 'Trenches' can be heard filtering through the speakers. Green pin spots swirl wildly around the arena flashing across the fans as they start to cheer wildly. Smoke fills the metal ramp as the drum beat and the guitar pick up a bit. A figure can be seen making its way out of the curtain atop the ramp, and green spotlights tear into the darkness, crisscrossing wildly in front of the curtain where we see a large silhouette of a man lit from behind the curtains.
The lyrics begin to chant the chorus and the fans really get into the bass beat of the drums and the kicking riffs of the guitar. The spotlights are waving across the stage wildly, and out of the darkness of the curtain, into the green spotlights waving everywhere, just as the music kicks in hard, Johnathan Cable springs forward onto the ramp screaming at the night. Cables makes his way down the ramp towards the rings as the fans cheer wildly. The lights fade in as the music goes on, and Johnathan slides in under the ropes to get ready for his match.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: And finally, about to make his way to the ring… “THE EPITOME” MIKE ANGELO!!
"Not Today" by Sevendust begins to play over the sound system, as green and white lights begin to flash and strobe around the stage. "The Epitome" logo appears on the screen and Mike Angelo steps out through the curtains. He takes a moment to pause at the top of the ramp, taking in the sight of the crowd, before beginning to walk his way down to the ring. He walks down the apron to the far corner and stands on the turnbuckles while still on the outside, raising his arms into the air before finally getting into the ring.
CENTURION: This insane night of action continues now as one of these five participants will have the opportunity to call their shot in the West Coast Rumble.
TYLER CAGE: The first pinfall gets it done, and with five participants involved you have to imagine the word opportunistic applies.
John stands in the center of the ring with his eyes on Fred while Samantha, Mark, and Mike are in a separate corner of the ring. The crowd roars as Cable starts to make his way toward Fred only to have Samantha Vox jump on his back! Angelo and Cross pair off with an exchange of right hands! Vox scratches at the eyes of Cable allowing Fred to land a low dropkick to the right knee of Cable knocking it out from under John dropping him to one knee. Across the ring Angelo gets the better of the exchange with Cross as he backs Mark up against the ropes with right hands before looking to send him over the top rope, Cross drops down and low bridges the top rope sending Angelo sailing over the top rope and out to the floor.

CENTURION: Huge win for Fred Debonair! He now controls his own destiny with picking his entry into the West Coast Rumble! What a match!! It was a pickem’ all the way down to the finish.
TYLER CAGE: Angelo just put the roster on notice with a HUGE victory here tonight!
Fred stands at the top of the ramp looking back at the ring and ringside area at Angleo, Cable, Vox, and Cross before throwing both arms up in the air to massive boos from the crowd while we fade to commercial.
The fans eagerly whisper and murmur! The show has been non-stop action so far and they cannot WAIT to see more of it!
“THIS TIME, IT’S DIFFERENT!”
]
And suddenly, all that anticipation turns into a maelstrom of boos!
Walking down the ramp, dressed in coveralls and a bomber jacket and tights respectively, it’s Peter Vaughn and Mark Flynn…
Flynn turns around, his back to the camera, so it can read “King of the Midcarders” across his jacket.
Vaughn sneers an evil smile as boos and disapproval rain down on the most controversial pair in the WGWF… And possibly the industry today!
Flynn spins back around and the two stroll in step down the ramp.
The two walk around ringside, barking at the befuddled timekeeper, who quickly gathers two microphones. The crowd preemptively boos, already knowing they won’t like whatever these two have to say.
Flynn rolls under the ropes, as Vaughn takes the steps.
The two take a moment to soak in the boos… Before Flynn lifts the mic to his face…
Flynn: “LAS VEGAS, NEVADA…”
The crowd pops at the mention of their city… Yet, Flynn shakes his head.
Flynn: “How is it we work the same arena every show… And you people keep getting uglier?”
The crowd boos.
Flynn: “I’m just saying, is it something in the drinking water? Is it the alcohol? Is it your ugly, corrupt hearts bleeding into your face bones?”
The crowd boos twice as loud. Vaughn smiles next to Flynn.
Flynn: “Now, I’m sure some pinheaded pundits of the wrestling industry need us to point out the obvious…”
Flynn: “Last Brawl, Vaughnie and I made certain… assurances… to Buster Gloves that I wouldn’t get involved at ringside. And… SOME MIGHT ARGUE… that despite these assurances… I made my presence known…”
Vaughn pinches his fingers together like ‘just a bit.’ Flynn pinches his own even tighter like ‘juuuuuuust a smidgen.’
Flynn: “BUT! You didn’t see what I saw! You weren’t ringside like I was!”
Flynn leans over the top rope, yelling back up toward gorilla position.
Flynn: “TECH NERD, PULL UP MY CLIP!”
Flynn snaps twice like, ‘chop-chop.’
Peter stumbles backwards and Buster lunges with a diving elbow, this time connecting clean and flattening Peter to the mat. Buster quickly pops on top of Vaughn for the cover!

Flynn: “WHOA WHOA WHOA PAUSE.”
Flynn rotates his finger in front of his face.
Flynn: “Rewind a bit.”
The clip backs up to Buster pinning Vaughn.
Flynn: “STOP RIGHT THERE!”
The clip stops.
Flynn: “NOW, ZOOM IN. Enhaaaaaaaaaaaance.”
The clip zooms in… though that just makes it a little pixelated. Buster is executing a standard pin with leg hook.
Flynn: “YOU SEE THAT?!? Buster Gloves EGREGIOUSLY and VICIOUSLY… LIFTED MY PARTNER’S LEG.”
The crowd boos at this ridiculous justification.
Flynn chokes on the mic to yell over them.
Flynn: “INVOLUNTARY LEG LIFTS ARE THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF QUAD TEARS IN SPORTS TODAY. BUSTER GLOVES WAS TRYING TO END MY PARTNER’S CAREER AND I WASN’T GONNA STAND BY AND LET THAT HAPPEN…”
Vaughn tries to step forward and pretends to strain his leg, like he’s still recovering from Gloves’ VICIOUS PIN.
The fans continue to boo, having none of this #FakeNews.
Flynn: “And despite Gloves’ vicious attack… The most dominant competitors in the WGWF… REIGN VICTORIOUS…”
Flynn cackles as the fans boo. This only prompts him to drive the mic closer to his mouth and project over them.
Flynn: “AND YET… Despite being the ONLY reason that you MOUTH-BREATHERS bought tickets to this show… Peter Vaughn and Mark Flynn… Remain unbooked this week.”
Flynn shakes his head.
Flynn: “There’s a SIX MAN ELIMINATION MATCH TO DECIDE WHO GETS TO PICK THEIR SPOT IN THE WEST COAST RUMBLE… And somehow, ‘Birdbrains’ Raven didn’t think to add the STARPOWER… that WE BRING TO THE TABLE.”
Flynn angrily looks away, as Vaughn steps up to take the mic from him. He takes a moment to let the crowd sizzle before continuing on.
Vaughn: “But there’s something Raven didn’t take into account when he made his decision. You see, it doesn’t matter when Flynn and I enter the Rumble… because we’re winning the damn thing no matter what.”
The crowd doesn’t seem to believe it, or at least doesn’t want to believe it.
Vaughn: “The WGWF may try to do whatever they can to put barriers between us and the top titles. They may refuse to put Flynn & I in tag-team contenderships, because they know we’ll roll to those belts. They may even rig the deck and make Flynn & I come in at #1 and #2. And none of that is going to make a damn bit of difference, because you’re looking at the two greatest athletes currently in the wrestling world!”
Flynn nods in complete agreement, as Vaughn paces back and forth in front of the ropes.
Vaughn: “There’s nobody in the WGWF that can topple this force. You’ve seen what we can do to guys like Mac and Cable, and they’re comparably slightly better than anyone else here. Oh, sure, you’ve got Raion, the golden idol who’s never been challenged… except when Mark here completely exposed him as a fraud in the XWF…”
The two men laugh, even as the boos get heavier from the crowd. They all love Raion Kido, there’s no doubt.
Vaughn: “No, here’s what’s going to happen at the Rumble. One of us is going to come in at some point and dominate the field. We’re going to toss out contender after contender, showing the world the truth once more. And then, just when maybe fatigue is starting to become a factor… the other one will be coming out. And then, it’s all over, because nobody’s taking both of us down. And then, at the end, it’ll be Mark standing across from me, the last two contenders, and then, of course, we’ll get to see what happens when we go at it once again… assuming, of course, Raven doesn’t try to change the rules once again at that point.”
Vaughn shakes his head, as if showing contempt for how Raven, his former idol, has become.
Vaughn: “In the end, though, he has no power over us, just like the rest of you. The World Title is coming into our hands, and it’s going to stay there until the end.”
Vaughn tosses the mic back to Flynn, smirking.
Flynn smirks back… Looking slightly irked. He tilts his head, like something bothers him.
Flynn: “Oh, Vaughnie.”
Flynn tsk-tsks, like he’s about to deliver bad news to a child.
Flynn: “You’re 100% correct… on ALMOST every point.”
Flynn: “FACT: Peter Vaughn and Mark Flynn are the two greatest athletes in wrestling history.”
Flynn: “FACT: Peter Vaughn and Mark Flynn WILL be the last two men in the West Coast Rumble.”
Flynn: “FACT: No one will EVER… be WGWF World Heavyweight Champion if their name isn’t Peter Vaughn or Mark Flynn FROM THIS MOMENT FORWARD.”
…Flynn’s eye twitches.
Flynn: “BUT! If one of us wins this belt… it won’t be OURS…”
Flynn shakes his head. He sticks a finger in Vaughn’s chest.
Flynn: “It’ll either be YOURS…”
Flynn sticks his thumb into his chest.
Flynn: “Or MINE. And, you’re right, Vaughnie. You and I are going to work together, running through those other LACKLUSTER FRAUDS like tissue paper…”
Flynn grins like a madman.
Flynn: “But, at the end of the night… When it’s you and I… Center of the ring. With the TOP BELT on the line?”
“I.”
“WILL.”
“NOT.”
“HESITATE.”
Flynn and Vaughn are nose-to-nose. The crowd is amped! Are these two about to throw hands?
…Vaughn snorts, grinning, like he’s as ready for that scrap as Flynn is… Maybe more so… He takes the mic out of Flynn’s hand…
Vaughn: “Flynn. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
The two men smile intensely, each knowing the gameplan going into the West Coast Rumble!
Can anyone take these two men out?!?
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Ladies and Gentleman the following contest is a STEEL CAGE MATCH!
The crowd erupts as the lights dim out and strobe lights start up from the rafters. The Steel Cage begins to lower to a massive ovation from the rafters.
The Steel Cage touches down on the ring apron.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing first, about to make his way to the Cage… THE PUNISHER!
The arena goes dark. He comes up from underneath the staging area before an explosion of fire lights the ramp up. The explosion knocks the lights back on as he stands at the top of the ramp before walking down.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: His opponent, about to make his way to the Cage, “THE BULL OF THE NORTH” BUSTER GLOVES!
The lights go out. The sounds of music and a snorting bull fill the arena as smoke rises from the stage. The lights return and Buster Gloves emerges from the fog as the words "BUSTER GLOVES" play on the tron. "Burn", as played by Stabbing Westward, plays as blue and white lasers bounce around the room.
A black and blue training mask attached to his face, Buster scans the audience. You can’t see many of his facial features, but it’s undoubtedly him, the Bull of the North. He checks his chin, by giving it two short punches with a black padded glove on his left hand. The letters W.I.F.E. (Wrestling is Forever) printed on the backside of it.
Buster descends the ramp fist bumping fans, pointing to the cheap seats up top, and bouncing his head to the music. He crawls up the ring steps like a silverback gorilla, wipes his shoes on the apron and ducks in under the top rope into the ring. Then side hops a circle around the WGWF logo before coming back to center. He removes his training mask and checks his chin one more time as he poses for the hard cam.

As they stare each other down we start to hear a chant of “BUSTER! BUSTER! BUSTER!” starting to pick up steam from the crowd. Punisher and Buster start the smack talk between themselves before Punisher boots Buster in the gut causing the chant to be cut off with a series of boos while the Punisher drives Gloves back into a corner where he starts hammering away with a series of right hands causing the crowd to get louder with the boos.

TYLER CAGE: Pinfalls, submissions, and escaping the cage are the only ways to leave with the win tonight for either Buster or Punisher.

Punisher pulls himself up to the top of the cage where he throws one leg over followed by the other but as he starts to climb down Buster reaches the top of the Cage and snatches Punisher with two handfuls of hair!
The crowd is on fire as Buster starts pulling Punisher back up bringing the upper portion of his body hanging over the side of the Cage toward the ring with his feet dangling on the other side! Gloves takes Punisher and drives him face first into the mesh of the Cage! He follows it up by raking the eyes of The Punisher nastily, and then a second and then a third bounce of the cage before latching onto a front face lock. The roof explodes as Buster brings Punisher back into the ring the hard way with the damndest superplex off the top of the Cage sending both men crashing down into the mat to a huge chant of..
“HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!”
TYLER CAGE: Are either of these men going to be the same again after the toll this match is going to take on their bodies?
CENTURION: They knew what they were signing up for when this one was booked. Right now neither man is moving after that hell of a Superplex.
The referee can only look on at the carnage. Several seconds pass before Buster starts to stir as he manages to roll over getting his right arm over the chest of Punisher.
1!!
2!!
THRE…
Punisher escapes with a kick out to a massive gasp from the crowd.
TYLER CAGE: This match will continue!
Buster and Punisher lay on the mat with both men now starting to stir.
CENTURION: This is going to boil down to who wants it more.
The crowd continues to rally behind Buster while both men finally get back to their feet. It’s The Punisher who lands a hard right hand that rocks the bloody Gloves back several feet. Buster comes back with a European Uppercut to Punisher that rocks him backward several feet. Punisher comes right back with a hard right hand causing Gloves’s legs to get wobbly yet he comes firing right back with a stiffer European Uppercut rocking Punisher backward where he bounces off the ropes and looks for a straight Mafia Kick to the face of Gloves.
Buster evades by ducking out of the way before transitioning into a pickup into a Torture Rack before turning it into the BURNING HAMMER!
TYLER CAGE: The Obliterator!
Buster points up in the air signaling he’s going to climb out of the cage. The crowd roars loudly as Buster makes his way over to a corner and starts climbing up the turnbuckles up to the top rope. The fans are louder and louder as we see Buster starting to scale up the side of the cage while in the ring we start seeing Punisher rolling over to his chest where he begins to crawl toward the Cage door.
CENTURION: Buster is nearing the top of the Cage while Punisher is crawling toward the door!
Punisher is close enough for the outside official to open the door. Buster reaches the top of the cage where he slings on leg over followed by the other while in the ring Punisher crawls under the bottom rope and starts to crawl through the Cage door. Buster scales down the side of the cage dropping down to the floor with both feet hitting just as Punisher gets his upper part of his body through the door!
WINNER VIA ESCAPING THE CAGE: BUSTER GLOVES
Match Time: 18:12
The crowd is going crazy as the outside referee comes around the Cage and raises Buster’s arm in the air in victory.
TYLER CAGE: The war is over, but at what cost to both Buste Gloves and The Punisher?
CENTURION: Both men left it all in the ring tonight, but on this night Buster Gloves is leaving with the victory. Fan’s we will be right back.
“THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: “The following is a contract signing for the WGWF Tag Team Championship match that will be held at West Coast Rumble.”
Drunk In Love (Dj TaMeiL Jersey Club Remix) begins to play and out step Austin Ramsey and Todrick Tabor-Ramsey. The couple are holding hands as they walk to the center of the stage. Austin lifts their arms and spins Todrick in a circle showing her off to the fans in attendance and watching at home. The pride on his face was evident as Todrick gave a seductive smile before she leaned in and kissed him. Austin was wearing a white Superman shirt with just the logo on the front and a pair of jeans, and to complete the look, he had a red baseball cap and red sneakers. Todrick had on her Wonder Woman attire, fashioned after the WW84 costume.
Austin took her arm, and they walked down the ramp together. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her. She smiled and waved at the crowd. When they got to the ring, he held her hand as she walked up the steps, and he quickly hopped on the apron and held the ropes open for her to enter the ring. She bends down to a pop from the crowd and steps through the ropes. They didn’t call her “The Cutie With The Booty” for nothing. Austin steps through the ropes, and they make their way to the center of the ring, where he spins her around again. He pulls her in close and whispers something in her ear that causes her to smile. They walk to their side of the table and take their seats. They turn their attention to the top of the entrance ramp. And just like that, the crowd's cheers quickly turn to boos as the Full-Blooded Italians theme blasts out of the arena speakers.
The Syndicate steps out onto the stage. Joey “Ace” Buongiorno and Vittore Costa are dressed in custom suits with custom shirts unbuttoned at the top. The two looked like they had just stepped out of a GQ magazine cover. They had designer frames on their faces, and they looked like money. Not new money, but that old family money that you knew they commanded respect when they entered the room. The two make their way down the ramp, ignoring the fans and keeping their gaze on The Ramseys in the ring. They unbutton their coats before sitting at the table opposite the Ramseys. After a few moments of uncomfortable silence, Todrick picks up a microphone.
TODRICK TABOR-RAMSEY: “Well, look who…”
Vittore Costa quickly grabs the microphone from Todrick and shushes her. Austin’s grip on the table intensifies as his knuckles turn red, and his face contorts and begins to redden. His green eyes start to go dark. Vittore hands the microphone to Joey.
JOEY “ACE” BUONGIORNO: “Don’t you know that it’s common courtesy to let your betters speak first? Of course, you don’t; look at the two of you. You look like stunt doubles for a made-for-TV low-budget DC film. But I guess that’s what we should expect from “The Show Stealerz” right? You both are a waste of space, and the only thing you steal is the attention from wrestlers who are more talented than the two of you. A wrong that we plan to make right at West Coast Rumble.”
Austin rises from his seat, and Todrick instinctively grabs his arm. Vittore is quick to rise to his feet as well. The men stare at each other with pure hatred in their eyes. Austin was starting to lose control, but Todrick’s touch was bringing him back, and he begrudgingly sat back down, as did Vittore.
TODRICK TABOR-RAMSEY: “That’s cute, Baby Bop, because the only thing that I know is that you beat Austin after cheating, I might add, and I cleanly beat up your sidekick on the last brawl. So, I guess that means we aren’t as talentless as you proclaim, or you aren’t good enough to stop us from stealing the show like we do every time we enter this ring.”
Austin grins and shrugs at the men across from them.
JOEY “ACE” BUONGIORNO: “Look at you taming your wild animal. Why don’t you keep that thing on a leash? The only thing you two have going on for you is that you are a couple who begs and panders to the crowd for love and adoration. Meanwhile, we are carrying the legacy of La Famiglia into this business. You two needed to be stopped, so we diverted our attention to doing just that. Neither of you possesses the talent to be the iron fist that this company needs to be at the top of the tag team division.”
AUSTIN RAMSEY: “Are you about fucking done?”
VITTORE COSTA: “Silence your animal or else.”
Austin has heard enough, and he leaps out of his chair and tackles Vittore. The two fight for dominance until they roll out of the ring and exchange blows.
JOEY “ACE” BUONGIORNO: “Aww, guess the truth hurts. Are you enough of a grown-up to get through this?”
TODRICK TABOR-RAMSEY: “First off, my man is not an animal. You two are giving off Ubu and Ra’s Al Ghul vibes right now. We’ve seen this act before; spoiler alert, Ras loses at the end.
JOEY “ACE” BUONGIORNO: “So much for that adult conversation. All you do is compare yourselves to iconic couples in the comic book lore, and you’re a couple; who cares? Outside of that, what do you really have? Yeah, we have heard this song and dance every time you both speak, do something new, please.”
Outside the ring, Vittore sidestepped a punch from Austin and delivered a devastating standing sidekick. He quickly pulls Austin close and sends him to the floor with a belly-to-belly suplex.
TODRICK TABOR-RAMSEY: “You want something different? Okay, let’s try this, neither of you could cut it when you were after the Television and Intercontinental Championships, so to save yourself the embarrassment of having your asses handed to you by your “betters.” You thought we need to switch it up; you thought here is a chance to stand out because there aren’t many tag teams here, the Ramseys would make us look good, and the focus will finally be on us. You thought we were easy marks but soon discovered that wasn’t the case. I mean, look at what is happening right now.”
Austin regains the upper hand outside the ring when he counters a powerbomb attempt with a hurricanrana. He looms over Vittore, leaps into the air, and comes crashing down with a picture-perfect standing moonsault.
TODRICK TABOR-RAMSEY: “Aww, look at Boo Boo Kitty feeling shitty. That is nothing compared to what we are going to do to you both at West Coast Rumble. You entered a house that we have been building since the relaunch of this company.”
JOEY “ACE” BUONGIORNO: “The only thing that is shit out here is both of you. Let’s make things interesting then, you both like to fly, so I propose we turn this into a FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH to show the entire world once and for all that we are your betters. You don’t deserve to be here, you know it, we know it, and the world knows it.”
Outside the ring, Vittore nearly kicks Austin’s face off with a running boot to the face. He holds his hands up in the air, which is met with massive boos from the audience.
TODRICK TABOR-RAMSEY: “You want a Falls Count Anywhere match, then you got it. Let’s write it into the contract right now.”
Todrick writes Falls Count Anywhere match onto the contract and signs her name. “Ace” smiles and nods as he initials by the stipulation and signs his name to the contract. He slams the book shut and quickly smashes Todrick over the head with it. She falls in slow motion, and “Ace” leaps over the table and catches her, only to plant her with a future shock DDT.
Outside the ring, Vittore pulls a fire extinguisher out from under the ring. Austin is slowly getting to his feet. He turns and is blasted by the fire extinguisher. He howls in pain and is tossed under the bottom rope. Inside the ring, “Ace” has Todrick locked in a sharpshooter. She taps, but he doesn’t release the hold until he is ready. He stands up and opens his arms to the audience, who boo him relentlessly. He exits the ring and nods at Vittore, and they both pull ladders out from underneath the ring and slide them into the ring. Joey picks up a microphone.
JOEY “ACE” BUONGIORNO: “So these are your heroes, yes?”
He walks over to Todrick, holds her head by the hair, and stares into the camera.
JOEY “ACE” BUONGIORNO: “What’s that old saying, never meet your heroes? Well, meet yours.”
He pulls Todrick up, hoists her onto his shoulders, and delivers the Ciao Bella (Burning Hammer by Kenta Kobashi) on top of one of the ladders. Toddy lies there lip. Vittore had Austin in a death grip and forced him to watch. His rage turns to concern for his partner, and his eyes water. He cries out but can’t move. “Ace” sets up the ladder and climbs to the top. Vittore lets Austin go from the hold, and he crawls towards Todrick. He makes it to her, and he sees “Ace” leap off the ladder with an Air Austin (Shooting Star Press), and he uses the last bit of his energy to get on top of his wife to take the impact. The Ramseys lie broken and battered in the ring. The Syndicate stands up and takes a bow. Vittore picks up the binder and signs his name. He then takes off his tie pin and takes the cover off the back of it. He pricks Austin’s finger and presses it on the contract. Austin has now signed in blood. The match is set and The Syndicate has sent a clear message to the world.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: The following contest is your MONDAY NIGHT BRAWL MAIN EVENT of the evening! It is a Fatal Four Way LADDER match for the WGWF TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP!
A shot of the TV Title hanging above the ring is shown followed by various Ladders around the ring and set up on the entrance ramp.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing first…
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: About to make her way to the ring, accompanied by Lexi Gold… she is EMILY SIMMS!
Lose Control by Poe the Passenger kicks up over the loudspeakers as the arena goes dark. A second later a series of red and blue pyro explodes and the lights come back up and we see one Emily Simms standing at the top of the ramp bouncing back and forth on the balls of her feet. Lexi Gold stands behind her, offering some supportive words and clapping loudly. Emily is clad in a pair of blue booty shorts with a red and blue crop top that bears the Pepsi logo next to the words “Emily Simms”. Her long blond hair is pulled back into a high ponytail with a red and blue ribbon tied in a neat little bow.
CENTURION: I didn’t know Lexi was going to be with her.
TYLER CAGE: Baddies travel in packs.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing the next participant, about to make his way to the ring… ACE SKY!
During the instrumental intro of his theme a rocket drops from the bottom of the titantron to the stage and there is a countdown voice over from 5 which fans count down to the pod door opens Ace Sky walks out in an aviator jacket and his usual in ring attire, he salutes a peace sign and jogs down the aisle way high-fiving as many fans as possible on both sides then he dashes forward leaps upon the apron and flings himself in with a front flip followed by a series of three front handsprings and a rolling savate kick.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: Introducing the next participant, about to make her way to the ring with Chuck and Norris, she is SONYA BENSON!
“Paint It Black" (the modern remixed version) by Valerie Broussard plays and the crowd jeers the hateful anti pro wrestling activist turned pro wrestler against her will as she emerges atop the ramp flanked by her manager Norris and her bodyguard Smith. Some hirelings are carting the sacred XWF hall of fame ring mat that she stole from the XWF hall of fame building during her desecration of it. The hirelings unroll it down the ramp and Sonya makes a speedy trek down to the ring because she does not want to freaking be here. During their transit to the ring she makes sure to have Norris rip up some of the fans’ signs that she finds offensive. Once they get inside the ring she moves to her corner where she paces nervously while getting an encouraging pep talk from her entourage.
”THE BIG TICKET” HARVEY MARX: And finally, about to make his way to the ring… “CHOLO” GIOVANNI SANTANA!
The intro to "Mi Gente", the Re-Mix by Jay J Balvin featuring Beyoncé and Willy William begins to play getting the crowd to jump to their feet. Once the beat drops, out steps "Cholo" Giovanni Santana looking as good as ever and flashing that million-dollar smile. He holds a mix drink on his hand that likely has plenty of mezcal in it. He soaks it all in, feeling the love from the fans, and after a few seconds he makes his way to the ring, having a few exchanges with the fans, all in good fun. He jumps up on the apron and after wiping his boots, respecting the ring, he gets inside. He walks towards the middle nodding his head to the beat of the catchy song, making his afro wave back and forth. Some of the fans get into it, especially the ladies and Cholo points and winks to some. He goes to chill in one corner, and when the ref comes over to check him, instead he hands him his drink and asks for another. The ref shakes his head not amused and he hands the drink to an official on the outside and then checks Cholo while he, and some of the fans nearby share a laugh.
The four competitors stand in the corners of the ring, the referee checking in with each of them. They all glance around the ring at their competition, the other winners of the Brawl qualifying matches, and one by one their gazes lift to the WGWF Television title suspended high above the ring. All four of the are suddenly deathly still as the stakes of the moment begin to soak in…
CENTURION: Ladies and gentlemen, we’re about to crown the WGWF Television Champion. The first champion of the new era.
TYLER CAGE: I am ERECT.
CENTURION: JEEEESUS, MAN!
DING! DING! DING!
All four competitors spring into action in unison. Emily Simms immediately slides out of the ring, making her way over to Lexi Gold. Together they make their way over to a ladder that’s folded flat on the floor, talking strategy.
Back in the ring, Ace Sky is after Cholo immediately. He rushes over to him and tries to push him back into the ropes, but Cholo is able to dig his heels in and hold his ground against the smaller man. He pivots and shoots Ace off the ropes, but Sky grabs hold of the ropes for dear life and stops himself from flying back into Cholo’s dropkick. Ace spins around and jumps on Cholo, throwing him in a front headlock before Giovanni can climb to his feet. Cholo eventually just shoves Ace backwards, breaking the hold.
CENTURION: Cholo isn’t exactly a large man, but compared to Ace Sky he’s a tank. Ace is a seasoned veteran, he’s got to know he can’t just go heads up with Cholo Santana like that.
TYLER CAGE: By “seasoned veteran” did you mean “surprisingly old”?
CENTURION: I call nobody old.
Cholo turns his attention to Sonya Benson who’s been standing in her corner the entire time. Her eyes widen and she quickly jumps through the ropes to the apron and drops to the floor, putting distance between herself and Giovanni Santana. Before Cholo can pursue her, Ace Sky pops back to his feet and jumps up off the middle rope hitting a springboard DDT! He spikes Cholo down to the mat, and quickly hurries over to the corner and climbs up to the top of the turnbuckle. He turns to face Santana, but before he can jump Sonya Benson jumps up to the ring apron and shakes the top rope so that he loses his balance. Ace Sky collapses hard to the apron and rolls down to the floor. Emily Simms sees the opportunity she was waiting for and grabs Sonya’s foot, pulling her from the apron and bringing her crashing down to the floor along with Ace Sky. With Ace and Sonya down Emily takes the moment to bring the first ladder into the ring, lifting it off the floor with the help of Lexi Gold and sliding it under the bottom rope.
Emily slides back into the ring, popping to her feet directly in front of Cholo. He extends a hand towards her, offering a tie up. Emily instead falls back off the ropes and hits a low dropkick to Cholos knee that drops him down to his hands and knees. Emily throws a swift knee into the side of Cholo and winds him before she spikes him to the canvas with a snap DDT.
The crowd cheers loudly as Emily quickly pops to her feet and lifts the ladder, unfolding it and trying to set it up underneath the dangling championship.
Ace Sky and Sonya Benson are both back on their feet outside the ring. Sonya seems shaken up after her tumble from the apron, and she retreats to a quiet spot near the time keepers table to steady her nerves and complain to anyone that will listen about how unfair Emily having Lexi at ringside is. Ace Sky quickly slides back into the ring, grabbing ahold of Emily before she's able to fully align the ladder and whips her into the ropes. He catches Emily with a sharp elbow when she charges back at her, dropping her sharply before heading to the corner and hopping up to the top rope once again. This time, with Sonya nowhere near him to knock him from the top, he leaps towards Emily looking for a frog splash.
CENTURION: Cholo catches Ace out of the air!
TYLER CAGE: Cholo steps in front of the downed Emily, catching Ace and using his own momentum to slam him down into the mat!
The ring shakes as Cholo power slams Ace Sky, Emily Simms rolling out of the way to avoid being hit by any flailing limbs. With all three competitors down on the mat, Sonya Benson slides into the ring in a flash and sprints for the ladder that Emily set up. She scrambles to the top and quickly realises she’s not properly aligned under the belt, and can’t reach it. She stretches, but it’s futile. She gives up and looks down, quickly noticing that Emily and Cholo are back on their feet at the base of the ladder and looking up at her.
SONYA BENSON: Don’t you dare!
In unison, Emily and Cholo grab the legs of the ladder and tip it over. Sonya leaps from the top of the ladder as it collapses, taking one last desperate shot at grabbing the belt before she crashes hard to the mat. Sonya rolls to the corner before coming to a stop and laying in a heap. Emily and Cholo look at each other and nod, and their brief alliance comes to a swift end as they begin to circle each other and Emily throws a quick leg kick before clocking Cholo with a heavy uppercut! Eyes crossed, Cholo drops to a knee and tries to shake the cobwebs from his head… but Emily hits her standing dropkick and puts him flat on his back.
Lexi Gold pounds on the ring apron, cheering Emily on and telling her to get the ladder set up again. Emily nods, but as she turns to look at it she sees that Ace Sky is already trying to get it upright.
CENTURION: Ace Sky trying to steal one here!
TYLER CAGE: No shot. Everyone is still in the ring.
As Tyler alludes to, Ace is barely up one rung of the ladder before Emily has him by the waistband and tries to pull him down. Ace clings desperately to the steel, but eventually decides to drop down to the canvas and spin around to face Emily head on. He throws a haymaker, but Emily ducks underneath it and flips backwards with a Pele kick that dots him right between the eyes!
CENTURION: Emily is going to climb the ladde-
TYLER CAGE: Nope! Cholo dives across the at and pushes it over!
Cholo tips the ladder and it falls over, leaning against the ropes. Emily looks to Cholo in frustration, and he just grins and shrugs at her. Cholo stands up and looks to Emily, but Sonya Benson grabs him from behind and sneakily spins him around and tosses him over the top rope and out of the ring! Sonya turns to Emily and throws a sloppy low kick. Emily sees it coming from a mile away and checks it, but Sonya follows it up immediately with a heavy right handed slap across Emily’s face that echoes through the entire building.
TYLER CAGE: Daaaayyuuuummmm!
Emily staggers backwards, clutching at her face in surprise more than real pain. Lexi Gold pops up onto the apron, ready to step into the ring and help her friend, but the second she does Norris and Smith pop up on the apron behind Sonya. Her manager and bodyguard have intense expressions on their face as they eye down Lexi, hoping that she gives them a reason to get involved and defend their client.
CENTURION: I knew those guys weren’t going to stand there quietly all night.
Emily holds out a hand, telling Lexi to back off. Reluctantly, Gold steps down from the apron to the floor, and across the ring Norris and Smith do the same. Sonya tries to keep the momentum by booting Emily in the midsection and looking for a swinging neckbreaker but Emily pushes her away and into Ace Sky who drops Sonya with a backstabber! He drives both knees into the spine of Sonya, crumpling her on the canvas. Ace heads to the corner and once more climbs to the top rope, but as he turns to size up Sonya, Norris reaches under the bottom rope and grabs her. He pulls Benson out of the ring and out of the range of Ace Sky, walking her over to the barricade and making sure nobody can touch her as she takes a minute to recover. Frustrated, Ace Sky climbs back down to the mat… but Cholo is ready! Cholo is up and grabs Ace around the waist, hurling him back and into the leaning ladder with a belly to back suplex!
CENTURION: Ace lands on the ladder, bending and twisting the metal underneath him!
TYLER CAGE: Nobody’s climbing that one anytime soon.
Cholo drags Ace out of the twisted metal and drops him to the mat before pushing the destroyed ladder over the ropes and toppling to the floor to clear space in the ring. He rolls out of the ring and makes his way up the ramp towards the stage where two exceptionally tall ladders stand. One of those should make reaching the title a piece of cake. Cholo reaches the stage and puts his hands on the ladder when suddenly the black curtain parts and someone makes his way out from backstage…
CENTURION: What the hell?! That’s Mike Mason!
TYLER CAGE: Mike Mason makes his way out to the stage and immediately eyes Cholo, who sees him and quickly squares up!
Mason charges at Giovanni Santos, dropping his shoulder and spearing him off the edge of the stage! The two men fall to the concrete floor beneath them, landing with a sickening crack but quickly picking themselves up to begin trading shots.
CENTURION: Cholo can’t be dealing with Mason now, the title shot he’s been after since the WGWF relaunch is finally here, and-
TYLER CAGE: And Emily Simms has another ladder in the ring!
Back in the ring Lexi Gold is hoisting another ladder up for Emily to pull through the ropes. Emily quickly drags it inside and begins to set it up as Ace Sky stirs, pulling himself slowly to his feet to try and stop Emily from climbing the ladder unopposed.
CENTURION: Emily has the ladder set up again!
TYLER CAGE: It looks perfectly placed this time!
Emily begins to climb one side of the ladder, Ace Sky climbing the other. They reach the top together and begin trading punches, trying to knock the other from the top and crashing back to Earth. Lexi Gold slides into the ring, grabbing Ace Sky and pulling him down just as Sonya Benson slides into the ring and pulls Emily Simms back down. All four competitors stare at each other, and then up at the title belt.
Cholo tries to sprint back down the ramp towards the ring, but Mike Mason chases after him and tackles him to the floor before hammering him with some serious ground and pound.
Lexi Gold sizes up Sonya Benson, rearing back for a superkick… but Sonya drops to the mat, and Lexi blasts Emily Simms who was standing just behind her!
CENTURION: OH MY GOD!
TYLER CAGE: WHAT THE SHIT?!
CENTURION: Emily Simms is down in a heap! Lexi Gold just took her out!
Lexi looks horrified and backs into the corner, stumbling and collapsing to the mat as she stares at Emily in shock. Sonya Benson pops up, and quickly realises what’s just happened. She looks at the limp Emily. She looks at Cholo, still brawling with Mike Mason on the entrance ramp.
Sonya Benson boots Ace Sky in the midsection, hitting him with a modified fisherman neckbreaker.
CENTURION: Was that… The Psychedelic Spiral?
TYLER CAGE: She used Ace’s own move against him!
Norris and Smith slide into the ring, helping Sonya up to her feet and to the base of the ladder. Quickly and with their support she climbs to the top rope, and as Cholo tries one last time to get free from Mike Mason…
…
…
She unhooks the WGWF Television title.
CENTURION: YOUR WINNER AND NEW…
The crowd boos loudly.
CENTURION: YOUR WINNER AND INNAUGURAL…
Lexi is stunned. Emily and Ace lay motionless on the mat. Cholo looks enraged as he finally shoves Mike Mason away from him, and Mason begins to cackle loudly in his face.
The crowd boos even louder.
CENTURION: YOUR WINNER… AND THE FIRST CHAMPION OF THE NEW ERA OF THE WGWF!
TYLER CAGE: Sonya fuckin’ Benson. Big Yikes.
WINNER VIA RETRIEVING THE TITLE
AND NEW WGWF WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION:
SONYA BENSON
Match Time: 19:24
Norris and Smith help the new champion down from the top of the ladder as she clutches her new accessory tightly, a sadistic and malicious smile on her face. The crowd jeers loudly, several fans crumpling their cups and hurling a variety of garbage towards the ring. Norris and Smith quickly step to each side of Sonya as she stands in the middle of the ring, deflecting debris before it can hit her as the referee raises her hand in the air. Sonya demands that the referee raise her hand again, and so she does.
Emily Simms is finally sitting up on the canvas, staring at Lexi Gold in confusion and simmering anger. Lexi stares back, unable to offer solace or an explanation for what happened.
Cholo watches the scene from the entrance ramp, frustrated if not infuriated by how it all played out. He had been the front runner for this moment since the first show. He was the most dominant name in the division, if not the roster, all through the qualification process…
But Mike Mason cost him.
Mike Mason continues to laugh at Cholo, knowing exactly what he’s done. Cholo lunges at Mike Mason, tackling him to the floor and once more starting a brawl on the ramp. Several stage hands and WGWF employees rush down from backstage to separate them, and the camera cuts back to Sonya Benson.
The new champion looks at the battle between Cholo and Mason.
She looks at the mistrust between Emily and Lexi.
She looks at the still prone body of Ace Sky.
She looks at her Television title…
… and she laughs. She laughs at them all.
The crowd continues to boo loudly, and Brawl fades slowly off the air.
