The scene opens up inside an undisclosed room, where we find a red chair and a leather sofa in the room. Sitting on the red chair was an elderly man, bald headed with glasses and a black and white suit. She was occupied with scribbling down something on his notepad that was on his lap. The sound of chatter and footsteps were heard in the background. Approaching the room, we see Lexi Gold along with a brown bear, a guy with a yellow smiley face head and a girl with a flower face, all of which are in animated form. They sit on the leather couch together and the elderly man glances at them.
Interviewer: “Thank you for taking the time to join me for this interview, Ms. Gold, I see you brought your friends along with you too.”
Lexi Gold: “No problem. My friends here were pretty excited that they get to be involved in the interview. Ain't that right, guys?”
Flower girl: “Oh yes. We are all delighted. I love your glasses, by the way. What is your name?”
Interviewer: “William.”
Brown Bear: “Like William Shakespeare. Neat.”
They all let out a chuckle, finding humor in that.
Interviewer: “Lexi, you are quite the busy lady these days. Wrestling all across the world for various promotions, so how do you have time for yourself to do the things that you enjoy outside the ring?”
Before answering, Lexi reaches over and grabs a handful of skittles that were in a bowl that was located on the table in front of her, then eats a few of the candies before finding her seat again and smiling at the interviewer.
Lexi Gold: “You are correct. My life is pretty busy. Not only that, but I am a mom to ten snakes and a dog, so life is busy at home as well, but I do try to make time for myself. I love to cook, and sew. I sew all my snakes sweaters. They love it. Do you have any pets, William? I could always sew something for them.”
He chuckles and shakes her head.
Interviewer: “No I don't, but thank you for the kind offer, so let's talk about wrestling. From my understanding, you've been wrestling for four years now, so how did you come across WGWF and what made you decide to sign a contract there?”
Lexi Gold: “I came across WGWF on Twitter. I noticed they were looking for people to fill up their roster when they returned, so after doing plenty of research on watching old WGWF tapes I reached out to Chris Page in private and told him there was interest in the product, so we had a long meeting, we come to an agreement and I ended up signing a contract. I see big things happening with the company and look forward to seeing where it takes off. I am excited to be given this opportunity, and I'm going to take full advantage of it.”
Her friends applaud her for her choice of words and end up coming together for a group hug before letting go.
Interviewer: “You are certainly doing well for yourself and bringing a lot of creativity with you this time. What inspires you the most, and is there anything that you'd like to do that you haven't done already?”
Lexi Gold: “That is a loaded question. I get inspiration from a lot of things… books, wrestling, movies, television shows, trends, fashion, drawing. My brain is one big colorful roller coaster. I like to try things people are afraid to try, but that is different and fun. As far as the second question is concerned, I haven't discovered what I'd like to do that I haven't already done yet, but get me in the right mood and that could change.”
Interviewer: “Let's circle back around to the wrestling side of things. Next week you are back in competition for the WGWF and your opponents are Shay Owens and Bam Miller. What are your thoughts heading into that match?”
She tilts her head to the side and looks at him.
Lexi Gold: “They are two great wrestlers who couldn't be any more different from one another, which is why I'm intrigued to find out how they will approach this match. I don't care who is in my way. I will fight and will fight hard, then walk away with my first win in my book.”
Interviewer: “I will certainly keep my eye out for that match in particular. Well, that concludes this interview. Thank you, Ms. Gold, and all your friends for taking the time to be here. It's been a pleasure sitting down with you today, and I hope we can make time to do this again in the future. For now, I wish you best of luck.”
Lexi and her friends remove themselves off the couch, thank him in return before they walk off and away from the scene as the scene fades.
“You win some you lose, then you grab your bags and go back to your hotel room and use up your alone time to utilize the drawing board to plan out your next move. That's the life of a pro wrestler. It's the cycle we go through on a constant basis. Would I trade it for anything else? Hell no. The last time I was seen competing in a WGWF ring was on the Relaunch show, where I was on the receiving end of eating one of Giovanni's pins and allowing him to score a victory for the match.”
She nods her head respectfully.
“While most people are still bitter over that win, I'm not. If I saw him in person, I would congratulate him over that big win. It's called being a bigger person. Time to move on, and I certainly have. I'm happy to announce that I will get some new competition on the next show. That being Shay Owens and Bam Miller. Two talented wrestlers who much like myself were on the receiving end of losses last show.”
Her eyes wandered around before speaking again.
“While Shay is still considered new to the business, I respect the hustle and isn't afraid to go out there to prove a point. I sat down and watched her match against Atara Raven and Sonya Benson and even though she didn't come out victorious I was really impressed by what she brought to the table. I could see her reaching new heights in the WGWF. However, I don't see that being the case for this particular match. I think the odds will be too much for her once again and will end up working in my favor, which will lead to me winning.”
“I am aware that Bam Miller will have a difference of opinion on that. I know I will have my work cut out with you, sir. When you go into a fight, you don't hold back, and that's exactly what I want to see when we all share the ring. Everyone talks about you as if you are the greatest wrestler alive. You will either prove they were right, or I was just fed into lies. I hope you understand that behind the fun, happy-go-lucky person lays a serious side to me, and you meet her in just a few weeks.”
She faces back and forth as she collects her final thoughts. Once she figured that out, she stops to acknowledge the camera once again.
“I am walking into this match with a big purpose, and that is to utilize every move under my belt to take down Bam and Shay and show them and everyone watching that overlooking myself and my abilities is the biggest mistake you could ever make. I hope my opponents are prepared to see their downfalls, while I see my rise and victory that awaits me.”
She smirks and walks away as the scene fades.
