We open up inside the most grueling and intense training gym in Detroit Michigan Hard Knocks Fight Club owned by professional wrestler Bam Miller who stands in the middle of the ring, wearing one of his black hoodies, MMA workout shorts, and his hands taped up with black tape. He stands there silent with a cold look on his face as he slowly removes his hoodie as the camera zooms in on him and then looks towards it with intensity in his eyes.
Many of you know who I am and what I represent, but for those who are too dumb to look me up or do any type of simple research on the sport you claim to care for, let me introduce myself! I'm the wildcard that WGWF signed to their roster because the two men running the show know I'm the definition of a true ass kicker! I show up looking for a fight whether or not I'm on the card or not. They know Iโll get on any talk show or press conference that Chris Page sets up and get eyes on the product because I want as many people possible to see me in action when I physically and mentally destroy my opponent! My name sells tickets and that's why I'm opening up the show against a former World Champion in John Cable. I didn't hesitate and neither did the higher-ups when it came to putting this match together. They saw it was money written all over it from the moment I Tweeted I was coming for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Bam smirks as he paces in the ring.
This caught the attention of John Cable, he didn't like that I put the World Championship in my sights. He figured that he will pick up where he left off in the WGWF but what he doesn't understand or realize is that the game has changed since he last laced up his boots and looked across the ring at somebody that was worth a damn!
Bam cracks his neck and knuckles.
You see John you claimed at the weigh-in that you take me seriously and realize this won't be a walk in the park but I don't really believe you, John, you see you can tell a lot by the way a man looks at you with their eyes and the look you gave me was a look of a man that thinks he's already won the match before the bell even rings. I can tell you think I'm a joke, someone you can just make light work of but let me catch you up on some history about me John.
Bam walks up towards the ropes and leans on them as he looks focused.
Growing up I wasn't as fortunate as some people in life, I didn't get to grow up with a loving family or hell any family at all really. You see my parents gave on me at birth, they chose to throw me away behind some random alley here in Detroit Michigan. They gave up on me before I even took my first breath and set me up for failure that most couldn't bounce back from but not me and even though it led me to be in the Catholic foster care system that didn't really give a damn about us besides the check they get from the state. I had to learn how to survive life early and what It means to be a fighter.
Bam steps out of the ring and starts slowly walking around the gym.
Being a fighter is never giving up no matter what the odds are and I mean no matter what, I could've easily given up on wanting to become someone people see as a success I could've given up when life got tough and stayed in the streets doing whatever I can to get by but instead, I kept fighting and never gave up on myself and that brought me to pro wrestling where I still had to prove I belong in this industry when I started on the indies but those veterans quickly saw that I wasn't like the rest of the rookies that come into the business thinking this lifestyle will be easy and that all they need is their fancy little moves to get them over but they never reached any sort of relevancy.
Bam pauses for a moment as he ponders his thoughts.
They never had the drive to take them to the next level because they always got things done easily in life, unlike me who had the drive and motivation to get out of a dark situation and rise myself to a new foundation like I've done all my life and once I got signed to my first pro wrestling company in IIW I never looked back! I walked into IIW and grabbed the bull by the horn when I called out former World Champion Jonny FnC and pushed him to his limit in my second match in that company, he got the better of me that night but from there on I own that ass every time we've met since and then I did the same in the XWF when their top guy at the time Jim Caedus crossed my path with the XWF Xtreme Championship and I smashed him with a brick and took that prize along with his pride as he walked out the door and hasn't been seen since.
Bam smirks as he pulls out a Newport cigarette and pats it against his hand a little before putting it to his lips and then lights it up. He takes a few puffs and then blows it toward the camera.
The reason I tell you this, John, is because I want you to understand who you are dealing with and just how far I will go to make sure I'm the better man at the end of the day. I want you to know that you are now Jonny and Jim in this situation. You are the former face of the WGWF, a Champion that fans love and respect. They expect you to conquer me and go on to win back what you once lost but I have a feeling you'll leave them disappointed much as you have in the past when the WGWF Championship was ripped from you after minutes of just winning it and then you went away and now you think you can walk right back into this company and put the Top Guy Slayer down.
Bam shakes his head as she smirks.
I find it funny that you think you can put me down when most of your career you haven't been able to stand on your own two feet without someone crutches you up. I mean sure you had some ok singles runs but you really made your name in the Tag Team Division always letting someone else carry you to victory because based off the information my agent Chris Page dropped to me you're more of a runner than a fighter when I compare yourself to me. You see we both faced drama that changed us for the worse but the difference between me and you is that I don't run each time something terrible happens to me. I don't need to take years off when I drop the ball and fail. You see when you werent able to be a man and save your fiance twice from harm you put your tail between your legs and ran off like the scared child you still are because you never truly evolved after seeing your parents murdered in front of you. You lifted weights and made yourself an intimidating man but on the inside your soft like a tootsie roll fruit cup. I almost feel bad for you John but then I think about my dark path I walked out of and then I like at you as some pathetic bitch who never grew a set. Always waiting for somebody else to pick up the pieces after you let someone burn your world around you.
Bam comes to a stop and puffs on his cigarette some more.
You want to play yourself up as some badass that's survived a rough upbringing but in reality your a pretender and that offends someone like me. You try to walk the tough guy but always stumble down that path and when a real hitter walks up on you, you fold quickly and I can promise you that I'm going to knock you clean off your redemption path to collect the WGWF Championship. Your return match is more likely to be your last because you got booked against me! They didn't give you an easy warm-up for you to get back on your feet, they gave you someone that lives and breathes this business.
Bam pauses for a moment.
They gave you someone that's going to get back up after you hit me hard, they gave you someone that won't stay down no matter how much pain you inflict on me. They gave you a survivor of life and more importantly, they gave you an ASS KICKER! So I want you to do whatever it is you do to get ready for a match, I want the best version of John Cable, I want the Beast Page hyped up so much about. I want you to be more than ready for when the bell rings and I kick your ass for however long it takes until you do what you always do best and that's quit once I apply the pressure on you and take you deep into the ocean and watch you drown.
Bam takes another puff.
This match just isn't just about beating you, it's about sending a clear and direct message to everyone in the locker room and around the world that Bam Miller is no joke! This is my chance to show the blind world that Bam Miller is a big money player and everyone should have their eyes on me to see what I do next because John you are just my stepping stone right now to the top in this company and it doesn't matter who Page or Raven line up in front of me next they will share the same faith as you and anyone else that feels like they can step to me. I'm on a whole different level these days and I plan to make everyone count. I'm done asking for a seat at the head of the table that I rightfully deserve. Everyone else is so focused on everything else that they lose focus on what's important and that's the wrestling.
Bam slaps his hand against his chest.
Every day and every morning I wake up and put in the work, even when I don't feel like it, I get my ass up and walk into this gym. I don't care how tired my body gets because my soul stays lit on fire that nobody has been able to put out and that won't change when I go against you, John. You see I live for this shit, I love to put the work in for each match. I love putting my body under pressure and watching the sweat drip down my face and soak up my shirt. I love seeing the hard work pay off. I don't take days or years off from my craft, I stay focused and keep building myself up. Even when I take a loss I get my ass back in this gym to correct my flaws and make a better version of myself, I don't make excuses or take time away from a sport I love. I give my all to this sport and leave it all in the ring. No matter who you ask everyone in this business knows Bam will either bust your ass or make you work for the win. There ain't no easy out with me!
Bam brings the camera close to his face as he focuses with intensity in his eyes.
John, I want you to look me into my eyes because I know you can't help but watch what a real tough guy looks like as you take notes from the comfort of your home. I'm the real deal, and more importantly, I'm going to be the last competitor you ever step foot in this ring with because come September 26th under the bright lights of the Velvet Rabbitt we are going to see which one of us can go the distance when its all said and done. So go ahead buckle up John because its going to be a bumpy ride to Miller Time!
Bam takes one last puff from his cigarette and blows the smoke into the camera as the scene fades away.
