We open up far from the once grandiose & majestic Gothic cathedral these “sermons” have been delivered from in the past. Instead a panning shot reveals the reminisce of an old cotton factory in Georgia. The old state logo is a dead giveaway at least what’s left of it lost to time, faded into the brick wall behind.
Panning down even lower cameras catch this factory has been stripped down to its bear brick walls, nothing is hidden all the imperfections, fractures and cracks on display. Instead of immaculate stain glass we’re left with the dirty factor windows that only allow small beams of light into the space where the glass still remains while other pain have clearly been broken as glass shades litter the area. However there certainly has been an effort to “clean” things up, some of the brick walls are adorned with magnificent silk drapes in dark teal, black & gold hang throughout. Further inspection reveals rows upon rows of leather backed chairs filled with the “faithful” who sit as candles have lined the isles and above a few Edison bulbs dance in the wind and in the middle of it all cast in light & shadows sit’s that all so familiar “throne” of God himself with even a small podium set up on the side where sister Velvet is standing, dressed totally in white as her red ruby lips garner the most attention in this “new” house of Frost……
Velvet: Frost be with you……
“And with your spirit”
Velvet: I confess to almighty God
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned
in my thoughts and in my words,
in what I have done
and in what I have failed to do,
through my fault, through my fault,
through my most grievous fault;
therefore I ask I’d be blessed by
all the Angels and Saints,
and you, my brothers and sisters,
to pray for me to the Lord our God.
“Frost hear her prayer”
Velvet: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will.
We praise you,
we bless you,
we adore you,
we glorify you,
we give you thanks for your great glory,
Lord Frost, heavenly King,
O God, almighty Father.
Lord Paul Frost, Lord God,
you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us;
“Pray for us”
Velvet: You take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer;
you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.
“Pray for us.”
Velvet: For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord,
you alone are the Most High,Paul Frost, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father.
“Amen”
Velvet: Now please allow a warm welcome for today’s chosen member who will lead this house of worship in song, brother’s and sister’s…….Jacob Banks.
Panning to the left of the middle of the “church” a small four piece band has been set up bathed in the light of candles, Edison bulbs even a small lit sign that reads “All Saints” behind the band as Jacob Banks begins to sing……
The ‘faithful” all rise to their feet as a standing ovation is received, including “God” himself still shrouded in the shadows. Velvet quickly thanks Jacob with a kiss softly on the cheek along with a warm embrace as she leads him away. Shortly it dawns that everyone is clad in white like “God” himself. The congregation quickly settles back down & takes their seats, from their humble beginnings it’s becoming clearer and clearer that HIS ‘faithful” continue to grow day after day.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
“Amen”
Before I talk about tribulation and hope and joy and endurance and prayer let me connect all this with the main focus of verses 9-11. Verse 9 focuses on love:
Let love be genuine.
“In YOUR name.”
Love one another with brotherly affection.
“Yes oh Lord”
Even IF that brother has wronged you?
Even IF that brother has harmed you?
Even IF that brother has split yours or you loved ones blood in the name of an UN-holy war?
F O R G I V E N E S S
Forgive is a big word. It’s huge, even gigantic. Just seven letters but it’s something that takes years to learn how to do well. And more than learning how to do it, it takes grace from God.
You see a lot of ugliness in life from an unwillingness to forgive. Many people can tell us stories of family feuds. Often money is at the center. We hear of problems starting between family members who fight over the estate money after parents die. Or family members in business together get jealous of one another, start fighting over money or control and before long they are no longer talking. It may even come to lawsuits against one another. A lack of trust and inability to forgive does huge damage. When we can’t or won’t forgive each other relationships are destroyed more and more as time passes.
Husbands and wives, who won’t forgive, find the marriage drifting apart more and more. They might live under the same roof but there is no love. There’s hardly communication. And when they do communicate, it’s usually more fuel on the fire. There’s no good will between them. No willingness to give their spouse the benefit of the doubt. Words and actions are misunderstood and the meaning twisted. In most cases, the marriage eventually ends because none of us can live under such intense pressure for a long time.
People who won’t forgive wrongs done in the workplace grow increasingly bitter. They resent the employee or employer who wronged them. And that grows into bitterness that clouds our vision so we can’t be objective anymore. We see nothing but negative things in our workplace and eventually we either quit or get fired because our attitude is so toxic and our work quality suffers.
Is it any wonder that God tells his people to forgive one another? I love you all too much to want you any of you to go down the destructive road of unforgiveness. That’s why I give you ALL a call to forgive.
Even those who had will or continue to WRONG even God myself at the moment.
The call to forgive is a call to hard work.
“Yes”
Have you ever seriously tried to forgive someone who has wronged you? Have you ever seriously tried to be compassionate and patient? Have you ever tried to let MY peace, MY word, MY name be the reality around which you order your life?
“Testify”
It’s not easy to forgive someone who has wronged you. For simple wrongs, it might mean accepting someone’s apology and then moving on. But even that is not easy for us. We start to second guess people’s motives. We wonder if they are really sincere. The next time we interact with them, they don’t seem any different and certainly not any better. Our minds quickly think,
“If she was really sorry when I forgave her last week, she would not have acted similarly today. She would have tried harder to keep her words in check.”
The list goes on. We can quickly second-guess the sincerity of others, which then gives us a sense of moral superiority. And that’s just over small disputes we have.
It becomes all the harder when people hurt us deeply. We have sayings like “Once bitten, twice shy”—meaning we won’t give people a second chance very quickly if they hurt us once. We may give a different person a first chance but the person who hurt you will not easily get close to you again. We say, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me”—meaning we are fools if we give someone a second chance.
Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
“Hallelujah”
Forgive us just as we are fully determined,
as evidence of your grace in us, to forgive our neighbors.
Remind yourself that to be tenderhearted doesn’t mean being sentimental. That being kind doesn’t mean being a soft touch. That humility isn’t the same thing as low self-esteem. That meekness is not weakness, but is what you get when a powerful wild horse has been tamed. That large-heartedness doesn’t mean letting everyone do what they want with you. Don’t let people scoff at the central virtues that make the Christian life what it’s supposed to be. Why do you think people do that? Are they, perhaps, threatened by such a dazzling and demanding way of life?
“PRAISE BE THY NAME. OH LORD”
But more than human effort, it takes divine help. It takes F R O S T ‘s grace.
In fact in my life I had the great honor of meeting and conducting worship with Corrie Ten Boom. Arrested by the Nazis along with the rest of her family for hiding Jews in their home during the Holocaust, she was imprisoned and eventually sent to the Ravensbruck concentration camp along with her beloved sister, Betsie, who perished there just days before Corrie's own release.
After my prayer, blessing and Corrie’s emotional speech man came to her and said,
"You mentioned Ravensbruck in your talk; I was a guard in there. But since that time I have found God. I know that HE has forgiven me for the cruel things I did there, but I would like to hear it from your lips as well. Fraulein,..." his hand came out, ... "will you forgive me?"
And Corrie well she told me in that moment said,
“I stood there — I whose sins had every day to be forgiven — and could not. Betsie had died in that place — could he erase her slow terrible death simply for the asking? “
It could not have been many seconds that he stood there and held his hand out, but to Corrie it must have seemed hours as I watched her wrestled with the most difficult thing she had ever had to do…. And still she stood there with the coldness clutching her heart. But forgiveness is not an emotion — I knew that too. Forgiveness is an act of the will, and the will can function regardless of the temperature of the heart. I heard her then whisper
"God, help me!"
I prayed silently.
"I can lift my hand, I can do that much. You supply the feeling."
I then thrust her hand into the one stretched out to me. And as I did, an incredible thing took place. The current started in my shoulder, raced down my arm, sprang into their joined hands. And then this healing warmth seemed to flood my whole being, bringing tears to my eyes. As Corrie then shouted loud enough for even the heavens to hear.
"I forgive you, brother!" she cried. "With all my heart!"
For a long moment we grasped each other's hands, the former guard and the former prisoner and even God as we all shared a love, a grace, peace so intensely as I did then.
That, congregation, is grace. We cannot do such things without God’s help. We can be thankful for our salvation which comes by grace alone. And still we need God’s grace daily to live our life my way. And we need to pray for that, as Corrie did. Just as I, by grace, forgave YOU, so can you with MY grace can forgive others.
“Amen”
This includes of course those two wayward souls who are soul responsible the loss of one of MY most cherished followers and honored solider. Kenneth Ridge, Ridge who savagely beaten by blasphemer’s, men and supposed monsters who in the days of old would have been beaten by MY faithful, bleed out like stuff pigs and then finally given the historical nature of current day settings. Brought out into the wood yonder and lynched up like some Negro piñata left there to hang as an example of G O D ‘S W R A T H………
Of course it doesn’t have to be this way for either of you, I mean if MY grace, love and salvation can help a Holocaust survivor find forgiveness in the arms of a former Nazi solider than why not on God’s green earth can we three find forgiveness in one another? Silence a monster? Hardly, the only snake in MY garden is the one with a forked shape silver tongue which I granted him, he crawls on belly and is desperate to ride on your shoulders. Silence you’re not a monster, more like a Neanderthal who NEEDS salvation, who NEEDS to step into the light of the Lord and be illuminated with knowledge & everlasting grace. Silence step into MY light and shed this falsehood of a “monster” and embrace MY faith and become a titian of true power, a Kraken of God’s might. And you Kyle. Well I believe I must owe you perhaps the most sincerest and overdue apology…………
Not for abandoning you back at WrestleWar’s nine no that was a weak shell of my former self, a man who hid the truth, a God who just wanted to ride a bus and never find his way home. Our past is strictly that the past, the entity you now stand face to face with is certainly God almighty, the same God who owes you an apology not for abandoning you in the ring, more like the abandonment I left you as a child with. God was never around to protect you from whatever abominations were sent your way. There was no man in the sky to save you then, instead you saved yourself. You figured it out way back when, if God is all powerful, he cannot be all good. And if he's all good then he cannot be all powerful. You became the “MAN” you are today, a great, powerful and yet empty man who may deny it for all eternity but deep down your just still that same lost little boy, crying out for “God” to come and save you; well here I am…….
MY arms have ALWAYS been out stretched, wide open to receive the BOTH of you.
Salivation lies within MY arms; all you have to do is take my hand, on bended knee’s I can lift you up and take away your pain and promise an everlasting redemption that will bring you both the GLORY OF GOD!!!!!!!
Hear this
An almighty, all powerful God is sitting in heaven waiting to hear from you. My hand is cupped around my ear waiting to hear from ALL my children.
Let me tell you something when you walk through these doors and lift your hands to pray
I want you to remember that you’re talking to
The creator of heaven and earth
You can ask ME for things so staggering and so big
That I’ll slide out of my chair and sit on the edge (Frost finally leans out of the shadows and into the light but dressed completely in black, from shoes, slacks, silk shirt, button up vest and a black tie) as I say to the other angles
Did you hear what I just said?
Ask ME
Ask ME
For things that are impossible because with Frost nothing is impossible.
Ask ME to defeat the giants in your life because God is a giant killer
Ask ME to divide the sea in front of you and watch as I turn your enemies into fish food.
Ask ME
Ask ME
To send fire from haven and I will
Ask me to walk with you in the fire of the fiery furnace and be the fourth man in the fire and I will
I said you will walk through the fire and it will not burn you, you will walk through the water and the water will not drown you.
Ask ME
I’m waiting to show you great & mighty things
Ask ME
Pray. Pray. Pray
I’AM in heaven saying
What do you need? Do you need healing? Ask and faith believing.
Ask of me and I will lead you down righteous paths
Ask
Ask
Ask
For nothing is impossible for those who believe.
Do you need the impossible? Than open your mouth, open your mouth and faith believing.
You’re not talking to the President of the United States; you’re not talking to Bill Gates here.
Both of them together can’t control their next breath, you’re talking to the creator of heaven and earth. I use gold for asphalt on the streets of heaven.
I move mountains, I divides seas, I will make you the head and not the tail because…
Nothing
Nothing
Nothing
Is impossible for those who believe, for those who have
F A I T H IN F R O S T
That’s what COULD happen if you both just ask for MY grace and understanding, forgiveness isn’t reserved for all, ONLY the faithful, ONLY the remorseful but most of all ONLY for those who accept God into their hearts. Will you both choose to?
Or do you both continue is LOOSING effort, fighting a battle in a long forgotten war. Where the winner has already been announced and the only bodies left on that battle field are the decrepit corpses of those UN-faithful souls slaughtered by God’s wrath.
The wrath of God.
It is truly a forgotten doctrine; I’ll dare say that many of you have never heard a sermon on God’s wrath. Most of us would rather hear about love and grace. I know I would rather preach about MY grace. After all, to speak of the wrath of God makes ME appear narrow-minded, judgmental. Some think it a blemish on MY character. Others think that God’s wrath is inconsistent with MY love.
When we use the word wrath we tend to think of uncontrolled anger. While that may be human wrath, it is far from the truth about God’s wrath. MY wrath is settled hostility toward sin in all its various manifestations. To say it is “settled” hostility means that MY holiness cannot and will not coexist with sin in any form whatsoever. MY wrath is his holy hatred of all that is unholy. It is his righteous indignation at everything that is unrighteous.
My wrath is not …
Uncontrollable rage.
Vindictive bitterness.
God losing his temper.
In fact, God never “loses his temper” the way you do. Wrath is God’s “natural” response to sin in the universe. I cannot overlook it, I cannot wink at it, I cannot pretend it is not there.
Wrath is what happens when holiness meets sin!
Wrath is what happens when justice meets rebellion!
Wrath is what happens when righteousness meets unrighteousness!
Wrath is what happens when perfect good meets pure evil!
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
I once said the world hated me and it will hate you.
That means if you’re like Frost than the world will hate you and if the world doesn’t hate you than you’re not like me.
You have two choices you can either please Frost or you can please the world but you cannot please both.
You will either offend God or often the world.
Velvet: From day onto day HE can defeat any giant that stands before you
HE can produce trees in the desert
HE can walk on the water and salvage you
The thing that you think is about to destroy HE can use it as a sidewalk in order to save you
When you grow weary HE can carry you
HE can walk into the tomb of Lazarus and say Lazarus come forth.
Why does he call him by name? Because if HE didn’t call him by name, because HE has such strength if HE didn’t call him by name than every dead man on the earth would have woken up.
Our God is an awesome God; HE is full of grace and truth, HE is of the almighty.
He’s is the conquer of death, hell and the grave.
He’s the conquer of sickness and death
He’s the conquer of powers and principalities
It’s time for those who name the name of God to show up and suit up.
Frost finally rises out of his throne and steps out into the center of his congregation as they all stay seated at his behest.
I don’t think there’s much left I have to say on this holy day, you are all faithful, gathered with the Lord almighty I am entirely grateful for all your faith and love. However to those that still may doubt ME, those doubt US, which doubt G O D. Well if you want it darker, there's a lullaby for suffering and a paradox to blame. But it's written in the scriptures and it's not some idle claim. You want it darker? Vilified, crucified, in the human frame, a million candles burning for the help that never came. Why?
I killed the flame.
With the snap of these very fingers and like THAT the light was removed from the world. It happened once already, there called the dark ages for a reason. When God turned his back on both the faithful and the wicked. Those days returned just last year but the last time I went into the ground for three days, I came BACK once again and without callous, without vengeance but most of all I returned ONCE with love and grace. Why can’t this time be the same? Instead of shedding other’s blood perhaps I’ll just shed my own, again. As men would drag and ox to be slaughter, they came and dragged God out of his temple towards his own crucifixion.
Look at him at the cross. Suspended between heaven & earth he bleeds his life away.
Why did I do that?
For you
For you
For you
For you
For you
So that you could have everlasting life in MY name
Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.
There is NO salivation without the blood of Frost.
Then comes the arrogant moralist who says is God’s hart so hard that when I stand before him on the Day of Judgment. He’ll not let me in because I weep and I wait and I beg him.
Look at me in the face and let me say it plainly
Read my lips
N O
Why?
If crocodile tears could save you than every star in Hollywood would be mother Teresa.
The ONLY thing that can save you is the blood of Frost.
There’s not an organization on the face of the earth that can save you, not even this very church.
Joining a church makes you no more of a believer than does a bath, bar of soap and a ribbon transforms a pig into a poodle. It just doesn’t happen.
The only thing that can save you is to go to the cross, the cross of Frost.
And say MY god I love thee, I know art mine for the all the faille’s of sin I resign. My blessed redeemer is now. There is a fountain filled with blood and sinner’s plunge beneath that flood and lose all their guilt and stain. Life begins here and if you haven’t been here than you’re NOT alive.
The only thing that will bring you redemption is the blood of the cross.
Without the shedding of blood there is no redemption of sin.
MY blood puts all men on an equal playing filed
Without the blood of the cross there is no salivation
Without the blood of the cross there is no healing, there is no mercy, there is no hope of everlasting life. There is no hope period.
We are not saved by church membership.
We are not saved by baptism in water.
Church membership and baptism by water are hallow and empty religious experiences if you have not first been to the cross.
We are not saved by doing good works or morale’s.
God cares less about your goodness; all of your righteousness is as filthy rags if you have not been to the cross.
Without the shedding of blood there is no salivation
If you reject the blood of Paul Frost than the wrath of God be upon you.
I ask you this question; do you think I a loving God would put him on the cross just so that later I could write something in Matthew, Mark, Luke or John that would touch you emotionally?
Never
I went to the cross because it was absolutely imperative for YOUR redemption.
Without the shedding of blood there is no salvation.
ONLY one man is climbing that ladder to the heavens above will be the MAN whom came to the river and WASHED their sins away in MY blood. Right now I count only ONE and chances are that ONE man ISN’T named Kyle Shane or Silence DESPITE any empty threat or worthless promise there ISN’T a hope in heaven or a chance in HELL that MY Holy Gold doesn’t leave around the waste of one of MY faithful.
If you have not been to the cross than the wrath of God abidth on you. The bible says who has received the Lord has life but those who have not proclaimed their faith than the wrath of God will abidth with you for eternity.
I paid I debt I did NOT owe
You owe a debut you could never pay.
Monday we will finally see if unpaid debts are finally put to rest or if the only things laid to rest in Atlanta are your bones buried under the......
