Andy gets down to the ring, he hops up onto the apron and gets into the ring.

He takes a moment to pause and survey the crowd with chin held high and hands on hips. With a look of extreme focus, he marches down the ramp, taking the time to slap a few hands along the way. He stops as he gets to the ring and holds his head down. After he mouths some words to himself, he lets out a animalistic roar! Both Andy and Nick start to roll around on the ground holding their backs from the impact! Erik is crawling to the ropes to help himself up. Erik gets to his feet. Erik grabs onto Nick and whips him into the ropes, Nick rebounds and is caught by a huge clothesline. Erik sees that Andy is slowly getting to his feet, Erik drops Andy with a big boot that sends Andy toppling over the top rope and to the floor. Erik grabs Andy and tosses him into the ring. Erik starts to climb into the ring until Nick rails him in the back with a kendo stick. Erik holds onto the top rope to save himself from falling down to the floor. Nick nails him again! And again!! Erik is still holding on! Nick throws down the kendo stick and grabs Erik legs, trying to power bomb him down! Erik is holding onto the ropes! Drop kick from Andy to Erik! Erik lets go and Nick power bombs him into the guard rail! Nick pounces on Erik and once again starts throwing punches in bunches at him. Erik tries to block some of the punches but most are getting through. Nick gets up onto the apron. Andy goes to punch Nick. Nick blocks it. Nick grabs onto Andy! Nick hip tosses Andy over the top rope! Andy lands on Erik in a power bomb position! Erik turns and power bombs Andy into the crowd, the crowd catches Andy and launching him back and Erik and Andy drop kicks Erik right in the face, Erik stumbles back only to get hit with a flying bull dog from Nick Ryan. Nick Ryan and Andy look at each other and nod. They both pick up Erik and toss him into the ring.
Baxter: Whoa! Hold the phone! Nick and Andy are going to work together?!!
Diamond: They might need to! Erik has dominated this match up till this point!!
Nick slides into the ring as Andy pulls out a table from underneath the ring. Erik is almost to his feet. Andy gets into the ring and sets up the table quickly. SINGLES MATCH
"GLORIOUS" TRISTAN SLATER
versus
ALYCE STARCHYLDE
The lights go pitch dark.
Masters: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first… from Miami Florida and weighing in at 245lbs… “Glorious”… Tristan… SLATER!”
Diamond: “Here comes the former champion and he has a score to settle with Miss Starchylde…”
Baxter: “If he wants a sniff of the World Heavyweight Championship ever again, he’ll have to go through Alyce and I don’t see that happening…”
A spotlight hits the top of the ramp revealing the back of Tristan who is in a blue robe with diamond trim and across the back in diamonds is written “GLORIOUS”. Tristan is struck in full Glorious Pose before turning around facing the ring where he removes the robe revealing airbrushed tights featuring Alyce’s face on his crotch. Tristan gives a Glorious Gyration before making the walk towards the ring underneath the spotlight. Tristan slides into the ring. Slater backs into the ropes and his smirk fades as the strains of K Flay’s ‘Blood in the Cut’ drifts through the air as an entire army of men dressed as the card soldiers from Alice in Wonderland step out onto the ramp-way each one armed with a spear and each one lined up with military precision as they form a guard of honour.
Diamond: “Alyce is bringing the showmanship tonight…”
Baxter: “At least some of the loyal subjects survived the genocide from John Cable.”
Alyce is then brought out onto the ramp on a throne carried by four more soldiers and she holds her sceptre in one hand while she offers the crowd a sarcastic royal wave as they lead her down to the ring with her music still playing…
Masters: “And his opponent… from Hollywood California and weighing in at 135lbs… Alyce… Starchylde!”
As she arrives at the ring, she steps straight onto the ring apron as two of the dwarfs run down and hop onto the apron and pull the ropes apart for her before throwing rose petals across the ring for Alyce to step onto. Slater – who has moved to the outside of the ring for the entrance looks disgusted as the referee tries to kick the petals out of the ring to which he is threatened by Alyce as her subjects and servants make their way to the back again. As Alyce continues to argue with the referee, Slater has slid back into the ring and makes his way over to the discussion and without changing her expression, Alyce flicks an arm out and jabs Slater in the eye with her thumb to the disgust of the crowd. The referee scowls at Alyce but she is already on top of Slater and is raining down clubbing blows as the referee calls for the bell to start the match.
Diamond: “Alyce kicking this match off with a cheap shot. She is clearly learning from her king.”
Baxter: “Only the best will do for her.”
Slater staggers away as Alyce hits a couple more clubbing blows until Slater is backed into the corner and whales in until Slater fights back with an elbow to the midsection of Starchylde who takes a step back but as Slater goes to follow up, Alyce connects with a front kick to Tristan’s mid-section and follows it up with a DDT! She pops up and looks down at Tristan with sheer disgust as he starts to get back to his knees again. She takes him by the hair and drives a knee into his jaw before pulling him up to his feet by his arm and whipping him into the corner. She follows up with a running clothesline but Slater gets an elbow up and connects with the chest of Starchylde who stumbles backwards and Slater capitalises with a running judo trip that drives Alyce into the mat. The crowd cheer as Slater saunters forwards but keeps the scowl on his face.
Diamond: “Barely a showboat from Tristan tonight and that should be enough of a warning signal that Slater is focussed on this match.”
Baxter: “It says to me that Alyce has done what she initially set out to do and get under the skin of the pretty boy…”
Alyce sits up but holds her chest and tries to gasp air back into her lungs as Slater turns and hits a measured kick at the small of her back which evokes an ‘ooh’ from the crowd. Alyce winces as Slater connects with another before bringing his knee down hard along her spine as he locks in a reverse chin-lock. Alyce struggles a little before breaking free enough to get to her feet with Slater still gripping onto her neck. Starchylde manages to spin to face the Glorious one and drops him with a jawbreaker! Slater tumbles back into the ropes and immediately goes to bounce back to retaliate but Starchylde catches him and in one fluid motion, drives Slater into the mat with a power-slam!
Diamond: “Sheer athleticism from Starchylde with such an impact move on a much bigger opponent.”
Alyce immediately crouches over the former World Champion and lays into him with mounted punches as the referee calls for a break. She finally stops at the count of four and stands up to ask the referee if he has any idea who she is. As the referee tries to talk to her, she holds up a hand for him to stop and then turns and wallops a stirring Slater in the ribs with a stiff running kick to his side. The crowd boo as the referee tries to finish admonishing Starchylde but she offers him the palm of her hand to talk to before wafting him away like a bad smell. Slater tries to get to his feet again but as he gets back to all fours, Alyce is on him and synchs in a side headlock and wrenches tightly but Slater still battles back to his feet. He tosses Alyce into the ropes and she charges back but Slater hits a leapfrog over the onrushing Starchylde and she charges into the opposite ropes, returns and finds Slater face down on the mat anticipating her to run over. Instead though, she opts to simply hit a leaping double stomp onto the spine of Slater!
Diamond: “Sheer brutality from the Mad Queen of the WGWF! She could have broken his spine!”
Baxter: “At least Slater will be able to take part in paraplegic wrestling!”
Slater writhes on the mat and rolls onto his back in pain. As he does, Alyce poses for the booing crowd and hits a standing moonsault onto the body of Tristan! She hooks the leg as the crowd but can’t help but applaud the athleticism!
1!
2!
But Slater is able to pop the shoulder up and Alyce looks irritated. She steps over Slater and poses as she walks towards the ropes and furrows her brow as the crowd starts to pop. She looks up at one of the big screens and sees Slater getting up and turns and charges at him with a flying knee but The Glorious One is a step quicker, catches his adversary and drives her into the mat with a spinebuster!
Slater gets to his feet and lets out a whoop of self-appreciation and bounces on the spot before leaning down and dragging Alyce back to her feet. He connects with a couple of forearm shots before whipping her towards the ropes, reversing it and turns it into a snap Northern Lights suplex! Starchylde shudders in pain as Slater opts to rolls over instead of bridging for the pin and delivers a few knees to the head and neck of the Queen.
Slater grips the neck of Starchylde and pulls her up to her feet as he does and drives a few more knees into her before backing her into the corner to deliver a couple more knees that stun her before stepping back into the centre of the ring, pointing at Alyce and then charging forwards to drive a flying knee into the sternum of his opponent. Alyce staggers forwards and then drops to her knee. Tristan stands in front of her and wiggles his hips and gestures to his groin with a smile finally etched on his face but his eyes widen as she grabs both of his legs and sweeps him to his back and uses his momentum to pull herself to her feet while still grabbing his legs and then tosses Slater into the turnbuckle but Tristan is able to catch himself with one leg on the top rope and his other on the middle turnbuckle, as Alyce turns to face him, The Glorious One springs off and hits a leaping kick that connects square in the face of Starchylde who collapses to the mat!
Diamond: “Such athleticism!”
Slater makes the cover!
1!
2!
But Alyce kicks out to the disappointment of the crowd and to Slater who rolls back to his feet and anticipates the rise of Alyce and turns it into a front headlock. He pushes her back towards the turnbuckle using his size advantage but Alyce slips out, drops down to one knee, grabs the waistband of Tristan’s trunks and drives him face-first into the turnbuckle! Alyce places a hand to her lip and feels that it is swollen from earlier and frowns at being wounded by Slater’s boot. Alyce grabs the back of Slater’s hair and slams him face-first into the turnbuckle! She repeats this a couple of times before grinding Slater’s face deep and hard into the corner to do maximum damage before the referee calls for the break as she is using her foot on the rope as leverage! He gets to 4 again and Alyce relinquishes the grip only to immediately follow up with another slam of Slater’s head into the turnbuckle which this time sends him collapsing to the mat.
Diamond: “Alyce is showing the mean streak that has clearly enchanted M.D.K. to her.”
Baxter: “I don’t think it is just her ability… Look at that ass.”
Alyce looks over at the announce table and points at Baxter who looks terrified.
Starchylde: “I can hear you!”
Baxter holds up his hands and apologises as Starchylde turns back to the barely stirring Slater and stomps on him a couple of times before backing into the corner and watching Tristan intently as he slowly gets back to all fours. As he gets one knee up, Alyce charges at him and drops him with a bulldog! She maintains her grip of the head of Slater and scoots out of the ring on her backside and alters her grip of Slater’s head before smiling to the crowd and then dropping Slater with an Ace Cutter that snaps the neck of her opponent over the edge of the ring apron.
Diamond: “Good grief I could hear the impact of that from here!”
Baxter: “Alyce said she wanted to rip Slater’s head off and that would go a long way to achieving that!”
Slater’s body flops forwards and Alyce drags him out of the ring and he crumples to the ground. Alyce delivers a few boots as the referee starts to count both contenders out. At 4, Alyce looks up and tells the referee to stop before deliver a frustrated stomp to the ribs of Slater. At 6, she looks back at the referee and screams at him before delivering a double stomp to the ribs of Tristan before reaching into the ring to break the count before sliding back out. She picks Slater up and whips him across the floor into the guard wall and follows up with a splash but Slater is able to get a knee up and counter. Starchylde stumbles backwards and Slater hits a lariat that almost beheads Starchylde to the delight of the crowd. The referee is back up to 5 as Slater mounts Alyce and connects with a few left hand shots before the referee gets to 7 and Slater slowly stands up and rolls into the ring. Applauds the referee for a job well done before dropping down and rolling back out of the ring to a cheer from the crowd.
Baxter: “A sheer lack of respect from Slater there to the poor hardworking referee.”
Diamond: “Good one… Oh wait… you’re being serious…”
Starchylde is back to her feet but is leaning against the apron as Slater approaches her from behind and grabs her by the back of the head and drives it hard into the edge of the ring apron. He then drives the point of his elbow between her shoulder blades causing her to yelp out before grabbing her by the head and hair and simply slamming her down to the mat. Slater’s eyes are wild and his face is fierce as he clears the hair from his eyes.
Diamond: “Tristan has a look in his eye tonight that I don’t think we have seen before. It’s a look of a man who is out to cause serious harm to a woman who has gone out of her way to antagonise The Glorious One in the past couple of months.”
The referee is back up to six and Slater rolls his eyes, rolls into the ring and out again to break the count despite the referee trying to stop him from doing so. Slater drags Alyce up and clubs her a couple of times before wrapping up her arms and lifting her up for a vertical suplex. He holds her up for a few moments before tossing her towards the ring where hr feet get caught between the top and middle rope. Slater smiles as he sees his foe prone in the ropes and whales in with a flurry of lefts and rights to her as her fight back weakens. Slater then makes his way over to the ring steps, charges towards Alyce and hits a Yakuza kick to the side of The Mad Queen’s head!
The crowd gasp as Alyce sways like a pendulum from the impact and Slater slips into the ring again to break the count. He climbs to the outside and stands on the apron staring down at Alyce and leaps a double stomp down the chest and face of Starchylde! Slater rolls through and stands up and holds his arms wide open to the applauding crowd!
Diamond: “There is a lot of bad blood between these two and Tristan seem intent on spilling Alyce’s tonight.”
Alyce’s feet finally loosen from the rope and she crumples to the ring apron as Slater turns and sees her on the apron and walks across to her and drives an elbow into her ribs followed by a couple of forearms before climbing back up to the apron. Slater looks down at Starchylde and measures up, runs along the apron and delivers a jumping knee drop to the back of Alyce’s head but nobody is home as she managed to quickly drop to the outside causing Slater to crack his knee onto the edge of the apron, he tumbles off and stumbles on the outside and Alyce is able to drop Slater to the ground with a weak chop block to the back of that knee which causes the Glorious One to howl out.
Baxter: “Astonishing counter from Starchylde and she uses that speed so well.”
Diamond: “She is going to have to hurry up though as the referee is back up to five!”
Alyce hauls herself up to her feet and pulls herself onto the apron and back into the ring. The referee keeps counting and is up to 7.
Baxter: “Just leave him Alyce! Take the win!”
As the referee is up to 8 and Slater is still struggling on the outside, Alyce pauses for a moment and then sighs and climbs to the outside and delivers stomps to the back of Slater’s knee.
Baxter: “What is she doing?”
Diamond: “Proving that this isn’t about the win…”
She grabs him by the back of the head and drives her knee into the face of The Glorious One which splits his lip wide open. Blood trickles down his chin as Starchylde slams the head of Slater against the apron and then tosses him into the ring. She follows up, grabs the neck and shoulder of Slater as she rolls into the ring and turns it into a pinfall!
1!
2!
But Slater is able to pop out of it at 2 and rolls to his feet but the knee buckles again which distracts him and allows Starchylde to back into the ropes, charge towards The Glorious One and drop him with a running boot to the back of his knee which crashes him back to one knee. Starchylde reaches into a pocket and pulls out a handful of glitter and tosses it into the face of Slater and as he wafts it away, Alyce has backed up and charged towards Tristan and hits a brutal looking Shining Wizard!
Baxter: “Cheshire Sparkle! Cheshire Sparkle!”
The referee admonishes Alyce for using glitter but Alyce wafts him away before picking up the head and screaming into the face of Slater to call him a peasant before slapping him across the face to evoke boos from the crowd. Slater spits blood from his lip back into the face of Alyce and the crowd pop as he begins to battle his way back to his feet and battles through the right hands of Starchylde and returns one of his own every time until he gets two in without reply. The crowd goes wild as he hits a third and then the crowd despair as Alyce levels a stomp at the knee of The Glorious One that crumples him back to his knee. Alyce connects with a couple of right hands and backs into the ropes and leaps for a cross-body but Slater catches her mid-air and manages to connect with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Starchylde that flattens her but also hurts himself as he dropped her on his already damaged knee!
Diamond: “Both of these warriors are down!”
Baxter: “Slater was stupid enough to jeopardise that knee of his!”
The referee starts to count both competitors out as the crowd chant Slater’s name but also that ‘This is Awesome’. Slater is the first to stir at the count of six and Starchylde is close behind. Slater is using the ropes to haul himself up while Starchylde is holding onto a turnbuckle and rests against it.
Baxter: “Starchylde using that turnbuckle as a safe place…”
Diamond: “She’s doing more than that! She’s undoing the entire turnbuckle!”
Baxter: “It’s only a bit of padding!”
Diamond: “I don’t think it is…”
As the camera closes in, we can clearly see Alyce unscrewing the bolt from the turnbuckle that keeps part of the top rope in place. She takes the bolt and secretes it in her hand as she holds the padding in her hand. The referee looks at her and demands the padding be handed to him. She sighs and tosses it into the air. As the referee flails for it, holds the bolt out and stalks Slater as he recovers back to a vertical base. Slater looks up as Alyce stabs at Slater with the large bolt but Tristan swipes it from her hand and in one fell swoop, sweeps Alyce to the mat and locks in the Canadian Crossface to the delight of the fans in attendance!
Diamond: “Crossface! Crossface on Starchylde!”
Alyce screams in anguish as Slater screams for her to give up. Alyce’s face is going red as Slater leans back to torque on the old even more. But Alyce is close to the rope and manages to swipe at it and on the second attempt grabs a hold of the bottom rope to the disappointment of the crowd…
But the referee is still distracted with the turnbuckle and doesn’t see the rope break which allows Slater to drag her back and into a more isolated position in the ring which evokes a pop from the crowd!”
Baxter: “She made the rope! Break it up!”
Diamond: “The referee is still occupied with Alyce’s distraction. She’s reaping what she sowed.”
Alyce screams in anguish as the referee turns back to the action and slides in to check on Alyce. She struggles back towards the ropes and Slater leans back on it!
Diamond: “She can’t hold on for much longer!”
Alyce reaches out her hand desperately for the ropes before placing her hand on the mat…
Pushing up and rolling Slater through into a cradle pin!
1!
2!
3!
But Slater bursts out at the very last minute to the shock of the fans!
Diamond: “A mere hair’s breadth away from having a winner either way then!”
The crowd are chanting ‘This is Awesome’ again as Alyce recovers by the ropes while Slater breathes heavily on one knee. He eyes Alyce up and snarls before charging across the ring and hitting a clothesline at Alyce against the ropes but the loosened top rope gives way and both wrestlers tumble out of the ring to the outside leaving the rope a flaccid mess!
Crowd: “Holy Shit!”
Diamond: “These two have broken the damn ring!”
Baxter: “What happens now? Do we continue?”
Diamond: “The referee has started counting both of them on the outside so I would imagine so!”
Slater and Starchylde both lay sprawled out on the outside for a few heartbeats with the wind knocked out of them as the referee starts to count having checked up on both of them. Both get to their feet at a similar time and trade shots on the outside. Slater receives a cheer for every punch while Alyce gets booed…
5!
They go back and forth until Alyce backs up a little and Slater delivers a chop to the chest and another and another…
6!
Alyce rakes at the eyes of Slater and then boots him square in the knee wobbling him before leaping up and going for the Unicorn Stampede out of nowhere!
7!
But Slater manages to lock his back and block the attempt. Alyce holds onto the back of Slater’s head and Slater straightens up and dumps Alyce hard against the guard wall and she crumples into a heap!
8!
Slater turns towards the ring and at the referee who is holding up eight fingers and he takes a step towards the ring and then stumbles as Alyce has grabbed a hold of his leg!
9!
He goes to boot the Queen of the WGWF but she catches the leg from a kneeling position and manages to turn it into a dragon whip that spins and twists Slater into the steel ring steps!
Clang!
DING! DING! DING!
Baxter: “What?”
Masters: “The referee has announced that this match has been adjudged to be a DOUBLE COUNTOUT!”
Boos rain down from around the arena at the judgement as the referee climbs out of the ring to separate the pair of them but first Alyce pushes him out of the way and then Slater does as he emerges from the remnants of the steel steps.
Crowd: “Let them fight! Let them fight!”
The referee steps back as Starchylde staggers over to Slater and straight into the path of a steel step straight to the face of Alyce!
Diamond: “The referee has thrown out the match and with it, any hope of maintaining control.”
Slater staggers towards the downed Starchylde and winces as she greets him with a kick to the groin that doubles him over, she hauls herself up by grabbing Tristan by his head and driving him into the floor with a DDT before mounting the Glorious One and raining down stiff right hands to Slater.
Alyce stands up and drags a weary Slater up and leads him over to the guard wall. She lines up to throw him at it and takes a run up before Slater somehow reverses and throws Alyce into and subsequently through the guard wall which collapses on impact.
Crowd: “Holy shit!”
Alyce splutter as Tristan limps over to her as he feels his lip to see if it’s still bleeding. He drags her up a little and levels her with a straight punch before grabbing the beer of one of the fans and guzzling it to the delight of the crowd before he boots the boots into Starchylde who tries to cover up! Slater gets a fan up from his seat and folds up his chair and the crowd cheer in approval. He holds the chair up high but recoils backwards as Alyce snatches a beer from a fan and tosses it in the face of Tristan and as he flails, uses the chair to assist her with a Unicorn Stampede out of nowhere!
Baxter: “Chair assisted Unicorn Stampede! This is insane!”
Alyce staggers away from the rubble and makes her way over to the announce table where she grabs the clutter and clears it away.
Diamond: “Err… as you can see, Alyce is taking control of our announce table and being this close to her, all I can see are bad intentions etched across her face.”
She staggers back over to the barely moving and bloodied Slater and rolls him onto the announce table and connects with a few elbows to his chest before climbing onto the remaining section of guard wall. She points at Slater and runs her thumb across her throat before charging forward and hitting a running senton that meets nothing but table as Slater rolls out of harm’s way. Starchylde writhes in agony as Slater catches his breath by the ring apron.
Alyce crawls along the outside of the ring and appears to be crawling away from The Glorious One but she doesn’t get far before Slater limps after her. He takes her by the back of the head and slams it into the guard wall before tossing her into the stairs. She tumbles over them but it doesn’t stop her crawling away to make her escape.
Diamond: “Slater isn’t going to let this lie… He wants to make Starchylde pay for what she’s put him through.”
A bloodied and limping Slater makes his way towards the retreating Starchylde and clubs her across the back but Alyce returns fire with a back elbow before turning to face Slater and delivering a few forearms that rattle him. Slater takes a step forwards and is met by a knee to the midsection followed by a European Uppercut that staggers Slater as Alyce capitalises and connects with an inverted Atomic Drop and follows it up with a clothesline that crashes Slater onto the ramp-way.
Baxter: “Where the hell are they going?”
Diamond: “Are you going to try and stop them?”
Baxter: “Not a fucking chance…”
Alyce kicks and stamps at Slater but he reverses it and tackles Alyce to the ramp with a crash and the pair continue to brawl up the ramp as members of the referee team come down to split them up to the disappointment of the crowd as they are restrained. Alyce bursts free though and leaps onto Slater and the two referees holding him and whales in with lefts and rights before being dragged away again. More referees come down to try and drag the pair apart but this time Slater bursts free by the entrance way and launches himself at Alyce and delivers a few lefts and rights as the pair look like wild animals futilely being restrained. Slater bursts free again and this time is greeted by a brutal headbutt!
Baxter: “Red Queen! Red Queen on Slater!”
Now dozens of road agents, security and jobbers stream out to try and get a handle on the situation. Both competitors are dragged to opposite edges of the ramp to keep them as far away from each other as possible. Both are shouting profanity at each other and both sport wounds from their war as finally the mass of people get control on the situation as the crowd continue to chant to let them fight.
Diamond: “Most of the locker-room are here to try and stop the madness that is going on!”
Baxter: “Let them at it!”
Diamond: “They are each a bloodied, bruised and battered mess! Neither of them can properly stand!”
Baxter: “Oh my god!”
Slater has somehow managed to wriggle free from his restraint and charges towards Alyce who looks stunned and leans down to try and break free. Slater takes advantage and in one fluid motion, is able to turn it into a flip piledriver but Tristan underestimated how close Alyce was to the edge and he flips them both off of the edge into a pile of packing boxes and crates!
Crowd: “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!”
The crowd fall quiet for a moment as the crowd gather around the carnage to check on both fighters. Neither appear to be moving as EMTs run out with trolleys and tend to Tristan and Alyce in the rubble.
Diamond: “This war between Alyce and Tristan has ended in a way that none of us would have wanted. An absolute war has left both of them unconscious and in need of medical attention.”
Baxter: “That… was mayhem… that… was war…”
The medical team start placing neck braces on both Alyce and Tristan as slowly but surely, each are loaded onto trolleys and carefully wheeled away from the arena. Each of them raise a thumb to the crowd as they are wheeled away to indicate that they are indeed alive.
Diamond: “What an end to an incredible match… And the night is young… we have lots in store including an incredible World Heavyweight Championship Match
As Alyce is being wheeled away by EMTs, M.D.K. appears by her side and starts yelling at medics.
M.D.K.: “Do you know who she is? Do you know who I am? Get me the best fucking medics you peasants have on your books! Plus the ones looking after that thug who did this… He doesn’t deserve oxygen…”
Medic: “Sir, we need to look after her and you are being far from helpful… Let us deal with her and you can wait outside…”
M.D.K.: “Who the fuck…”
?: “Danny… Leave them to their work…”
It was Adam Barker… M.D.K. looked a little taken aback…
M.D.K.: “Shouldn’t you be oiling up your cabana boy…”
Barker: “Look, I’m trying to be civil here. The least you could do is show me a little courtesy.”
M.D.K.: “And I am… Every heartbeat that I don’t feed you your front fucking teeth is a courtesy.”
Barker: “I just want to wish you luck tonight… While my loyalty is evident, I want you BOTH to have a good match…”
M.D.K.: “Because we are your biggest meal tickets?”
Barker: “In one way… you could say that but maybe because both of you have been a part of my life for over a decade, maybe – just maybe – I might have a little modicum of care for both of you…”
M.D.K. looks down; unsure of what to say. Adam breaks the silence.
Barker: “Listen, I have to get back to Chris… You should focus on your match… The medics will look after her.”
And with that, Adam was gone leaving M.D.K. a frustrated and flustered wreck.
WGWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
TRIPLE THREAT ELIMINATION
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE IN THE BUILDING
JOHN "THE BEAST" CABLE (c)
versus
"BIGG RIGG" JOHN GAMBINO
versus
CHRISTIAN CONNOLLY
Diamond: WHAT. A. NIGHT. And what better way to continue it than the Intercontinental Title, and three of the best competitors in the company’s history vying for it, Bax!
Masters: Ladies and Gentlemen, the next contest is scheduled for one fall, with no time limit. It is FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE… and is for the WGWF Intercontinental Championshiiiiip.
The arena lights go off and the entire place goes black. "BEEP, BEEP, BEEEEEEEEEP!" sounds over the PA System. The crowd in attendance erupts into a chorus of cheers, as "If you want blood (You've got it)" - AC/DC begins playing. Multicolored lights flash off and on throughout the arena as John Gambino steps out onto the stage. He is dressed in his shiny black trunks, a black leather biker jacket, a black "Flatline Crew Established Circa 1996" t-shirt underneath and black boots. A black Fedora hat sits atop his head and a pair of silver aviator sunglasses rest upon his face. Accompanying Rigg are members of his "crew". Rigg looks up from beneath his sunglasses, surveying the crowd. As the song hits the chorus, Bigg Rigg raises his arms into the air; growling. Red pyros shoot up from the stage behind the three.
Masters: Introducing first, the challenger, standing Six feet and five inches... he hails out of Syracuse, New York and tips the scale at 250 pounds. He is a former WGWF World Champion! Ladies and Gentlemen… BIGG RIGG…JOHN GAMMMMBIIIIINNNOOOO!!!
The fans continue to cheer. As the pyros end, Rigg and his Crew walk down the ramp together, snarling and slapping the hands of the fans along the ramp. Once at ringside; Bigg Rigg climbs up onto the apron and his Crew follows soon after. Inside the ring, Rigg's Crew stand on his side doing the nWo point in his direction. Bigg Rigg ascends to the top rope, lifting his arms into the air in a Triple H-like taunt. A curtain of gold pyros rain down into the ring. Rigg then climbs down from the top rope, as the music slowly fades and the lights come back on.
While one challenger waits in the ring, ready to do whatever it takes to walk away at the end of the night with the top prize in the business firmly in his possession, another challenger paces just behind the curtain that separates him from the sight, but not the sound, of thousands of screaming fans.
"KEEP IT 100!!"
Pumped full of adrenaline, the "Suntan Superman" steps out to a deafning ovation. He stands there looking out at the sea of fans and pumps his fist in the air, triggering pyro ro go off around him. He bounds down the aisle, crackling with pent-up energy as Grandtheft's "Keep It 100" begins to pummel the Nationwide Arena's speakers and resonate around the concrete and timber structure.
Masters: And the second challenger... standing at six feet three inches tall, weighing in at 235 pounds.. he is one half of the longest reigning tag team champions in WGWF history... he is the Suntan Superman... CHRISTIAN CONNNNNOOLLLLLY!!
He slides under the bottom rope and takes his place in the ring across from Gambino… and there… on opposite sides of the squared circle… both men await their destiny.
Baxter: But for all we talk about who could finally take the big one, you can’t underestimate this next man, not in the slightest.
"The lights dim around the arena and a hush descends on the crowd. The opening taps of drums and the beginning riffs of the guitar of Pop Evil's 'Trenches' can be heard filtering through the speakers. Green pin spots swirl wildly around the arena flashing across the fans as they start to cheer wildly. Smoke fills the metal ramp as the drum beat and the guitar pick up a bit. A figure can be seen making its way out of the curtain atop the ramp, and green spotlights tear into the darkness, crisscrossing wildly in front of the curtain where we see a large silhouette of a man lit from behind the curtains.
Masters: And noooow… their opponent. From Jacksonville, Florida… standing 6 foot 5 and weighing in at 267lbs… he is the reigning and defending WGWF Intercontinental Chaaaampiiiooon… The BEAST…. JONATHAN CAAAAAAABLE!!!
The lyrics begin to chant the chorus and the fans really get into the bass beat of the drums and the kicking riffs of the guitar. The spotlights are waving across the stage wildly, and out of the darkness of the curtain, into the green spotlights waving everywhere, just as the music kicks in hard, Johnathan Cable springs forward onto the ramp screaming at the night. Cables makes his way down the ramp towards the rings as the fans cheer wildly. With the lights returning to normal, Cable slides in the ring and plants himself right between his two challengers.
Each man burns a hole in the champion with their gaze, both knowing that the gold around his waist can soon be theirs.
The Beast unsnaps the title and holds it in front of him. For all the mania in recent WGWF… for all the returns of legends, debuts of future stars… for all the backstabbing and betrayal… for all the chaos… the twenty pounds of gold that Cable slowly raises above his head… it is the desire of every superstar. It is the definition of success. And tonight… one man hopes to retain the glory… two others hope to rip it away.
Cable slowly turns his head and shoot a cold, intense glare at Gambino, then turns and fires the same look towards Connolly.
Each man returns the favor.
Head official, Bernie Roberts takes the belt from Cable, folds the straps behind the center plate and hoists it high in the air to display what is at stake. And as the man in stripes steps over to the ropes to hand off the belt for safe keeping at ringside… he calls for the be.
DING! DING! DING!
And it has begun.
Gambino is the first to make a move, charging forward and dropping Connolly with a stiff clothesline. From there, he begins to lay the boots to The Suntan Superman. In a moment that catches many of the fans offguard and leaves them with an unwanted surprise, The Beast quickly joins the former World Champion and begins to stomp away on Connolly right alongside Gambino.
Diamond: Whoa! Did you ever think you’d see this, Baxter?!
Baxter: HELL YES. This is for all the marbles, Diamond! Alliances melt like butter when gold is on the line!
The fans begin to get worked up over the unusual alliance, and it is only made worse as Cable reaches down and drags Connolly to his feet by the head, then hoists him overhead in military press position.
With a bit of a push, Cable drops The Suntan Superman and lets him fall, where Gambino is waiting with a knee jutted out, offering Connolly the most unpleasant of landings.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
As Connolly rolls on the mat, clutching his ribs, the crowd lets the champion and his hated challenger hear their disapproval.
Baxter: What were you babbling about at the beginning of the match…"oh, we’re so happy with the change in character, blah, blah, blah…"
Diamond: …
The boos, however, don’t last long.
When Gambino raises to his feet, pushing off his one knee, Cable greets him with a stiff right fist. A second punch follows, then a third, working Gambino back towards the ropes. Once to the cables, Cable locks his arms around the torso of John and spins quickly, then tosses Gambino out of the ring with a massive overhead belly to belly suplex.
"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Baxter: Awww, rats.
Diamond: You said it yourself, Baxter! ALL bets are off!
Seeing that there is no alliance, the crowd erupts into cheers, and Cable responds with an animalistic roar in the middle of the ring. The champion has no plans on relinquishing his championship without making sure it’s well earned.
Meanwhile, ribs still hurting, Connolly pulls himself up with the ropes and immediately takes issue with the teamwork shown between his two opponents, no matter how short lived it might have been. The Suntan Superman steps towards Cable with purpose and both men meet face to face.
The buzz of the crowd begins to elevate to deafening proportions, and to appease the fans, neither man bothers with words… instead, they fight.
A left hand rocks Cable, who responds with a right. Each man continues to exchange blows. Left, right, left, right. Each one stings, as knuckle bounces off of skull, but neither man will go down, fighting on as if immune.
What they are not immune to, is the third member of the battle, who crashes the party in major fashion.
Gambino hits the ring with a clubbing blow to Cable’s back, then slams a forearm into the face of The Suntan Superman. Both superstars crumple to the mat and Gambino doesn’t let up for even a second. Displaying an incredible mean steak, the challenger kneels over The Beast and wails away with a series of rapid fire punches. After connecting with something near a baker’s dozen, he immediately hops over to Connolly and offers him equal treatment.
Diamond: And it’s Gambino now, interrupting the slugfest!! John Gambino is reminding the his opponents that he’s very much in this fight!
Baxter: Damn right!
Satisfied with his actions so far, Gambino moves back over to Cable. Lifting the Intercontinental Champion by the head, John hoists The Beast overhead with a vertical suplex, then holds him for a moment, before snapping down to the mat, converting the move into a devastating brainbuster.
The former World Champion goes for the pin and Bernie Roberts shows why he’s lead official, instantly dropping into position to make the count.
ONE…
TWO…
TH…
Diamond: NO!!
Of course, things won’t end so early, but it’s not due to a shoulder being thrusts off the mat from the champion, the prolonged battle comes courtesy of an elbow to the back from the other challenger.
With the pin attempt broken up at two, Gambino curses The Suntan Superman for stealing away his moment in the sun.
Connolly’s apology comes in the form of a boot to the gut. He follows up by spiking his doubled-over opponent with a DDT. And now, it is The Suntan Superman’s turn to try and realize his destiny.
Diamond: Connolly with the pin!!
Baxter: I hate those words together!
ONE…
TWO…
T…
Gambino pushes his right shoulder off the canvas, forcing Roberts to end his count at two. Not wanting to let up on his advantage, Connolly wraps around the waist of John Gambino and slips behind him, arching back and driving Gambino’s skull into the mat. Rolling, he pulls himself and Gambino up and delivers a second german suplex. Then a third.
Diamond: Connolly in charge here, and letting John Gambino have it!!
Each one saps some energy from Connolly, but each one further brutalizes the neck and back of the man who personified intensity for over a decade.
Slowly, and struggling, Connolly rises and flings Gambino overhead for a fourth, and final, german suplex… this time releasing his grip and letting his opponent sail uncontrollably through the air. The landing is nothing pretty.
Gambino folds in half, legs flipping over shoulders, then falls limply onto his stomach. It is the perfect opportunity to try and end the match, only someone has an objection to Connolly’s plans.
As Connolly makes his way over to his opponent, he is thrown off course in violent fashion by a spear from The Beast, who blindsides the former Tag Team champion out of nowhere.
Diamond: Connolly hit by the train there!
Diamond & Baxter: *Rolling eyes at cue-cards* A GLORIOUS-TRAIN…
Putting his intelligence to use alongside his strength, The Beast lifts Connolly and tosses him overhead with a fall away slam. The Suntan Superman crashes down right onto Gambino, essentially delivering an unplanned and unorthodox body splash. Both challengers clutch their torsos and roll across the mat in pain, while The Beast takes a second to catch his breath and stare at both men with venomous eyes.
The Intercontinental Champion makes his way over to both men and chooses to focus his attention on Gambino. A massive spinebuster plants the former World Champion, nearly pushing him through the canvas. The fans roar in approval as the Beast begins to firmly take control of the match.
"Let’s Go Cha-amp, Let’s Go! Let’s Go Cha-amp, Let’s Go!"
Turning to Connolly, Cable tucks the challenger under his arms and sets him up for a reverse DDT, however, before he can drive the Suntan Superman down, Gambino is back to his feet enough to offer a distraction.
A distraction Cable quickly deals with.
One kick to the gut, stops Gambinon’s advancement and sets him up perfectly to be tucked under the champ’s free arm. What is about to become and awesome double, reverse DDT soon falls apart. Connolly twists free and spins around, thrusting a shoulder into Cable’s torso. This allows Gambino to twist over, and now, the teamwork comes from the two challengers who flip Cable over with a double suplex.
Diamond: And now it’s Gambino and Connolly on Cable! As much as I love a good old-fashioned one-on-one match, there’s something to be said for the insanity of a Triple Threat match!
Baxter: Goddamn, Diamond. I’m trying to watch this thing.
The move launches the champion out of the ring and he lands in awkward fashion, one foot driving into the mats, causing his knee to buckle and leading him to crash head first into the barricade.
With a potential concussion and one leg, the reigning champ is effectively out of the match, and both challengers instantly can taste gold.
In a scene that mimicks the slugfest between Connolly and Cable from just a few minutes earlier, both men lay into each other with repeated fists to the face.
Recovering from the shock of the sudden (and potentially tragic) turn of events, the crowd starts to work their way out of their silence, cheering for the intensity being displayed by both challengers.
Baxter: Yeah, forget about him! The gold, you idiots! Anyone can win it!
It is Gambino who gains the advantage, pulling Connolly in and executing a perfect Northern Lights driver. The move is followed by a demand from the challenger for Roberts to make the count.
ONE…
TWO…
THR…
Connolly keeps his dream alive at two and a half.
Though the near fall doesn’t give Gambino the championship he has desired since returning to WGWF’s roster, it does give him the confidence that he controls his own fate. With this belief, the former World Champ irish whips Connolly into the corner where he smashes against the turnbuckles with a sick crack. The Suntan Superman slumps to the mat, sitting prone in the corner, his arms draped across the ropes.
Diamond: What’s he doing her…OHHH!!
Gambino sprints forward and rams a knee into the face of The Suntan Superman. Busting open his opponent’s nose, Gambino backs off only to charge forward again. This time, he drops down at the last moment and delivers a sliding dropkick right into the gut of Connolly, further damaging the ribs.
Baxter: Thaaaaaat’ll do it.
Knowing that the Suntan Superman is in a bad way, the fans begin to rally behind the sentimental favorite.
"SUPERMAN! SUPERMAN! SUPERMAN! SUPERMAN! SUPERMAN!"
The cries seem to work as Connolly pulls himself to his feet. Gambino sneers, not impressed and leaps into Connolly with an attempted Superkick.
But The Suntan Superman catches the boot and uses it to spin Gambino around. Face to face, Connolly leapts up and flips his opponent over with a hurricanrana.
Diamond: Incredibly agile offense from the Suntan Superman, and we’re moving at 90 miles-per-hour here, Baxter!
Baxter: I don’t pop a boner for anything under 175.
Diamond: …
Gambino hits the mat and rolls through. Back to his feet, he is once again dropped, this time by a clothesline from a motivated Suntan Superman.
The crowd cheers as Connolly acknowledges their support. When Gambino once again pulls himself up, Connolly charges for a second time; however, the Angry Italian is ready on this occasion and ducks under the arm so that he can connect with the Superkick right in the back of the head.
CRACK!
The sound is disgusting and causes many of the fans in attendance to wince. It causes Gambino to grin, sensing that victory is firmly within his grasp. Bernie Roberts drops into position to test the challenger’s senses.
ONE…
TWO…
THRE…
At what could most simply be described as the last possible second, Connolly lifts a shoulder from the mat.
Diamond: No! No way is Connolly done yet! He’s waited too long to lay down on a Superkick!
Baxter: Superkicks hurt, Diamond.
Now growing a bit frustrated, Gambino begins to show the brutal nature that earned him the World title. He begins to slam his boot into the face of Connolly with aggressive form. Each time his foot finds its mark, the blood from Connolly’s nose smears across the sole of Gambino’s boot. It seems to fuel Bigg Rigg who reaches down and rips Connolly to his feet and once again whips him into the ropes, catching his rebounding opponent with a powerslam that rocks the ring.
A standing elbow drop follows the move, then a knee drop, each one causing more damage to the battered body of The Suntan Superman. Gambino decides to take the moment to climb to the top rope and display some of the high risk that earned him quite the reputation in the business.
Diamond: Gambino wants to go airborne…but Connolly’s got something to say about it!
His intentions, though, have to be altered as Connolly climbs to his feet. So, instead of some suicidal moonsault or corkscrewing, dizzying leap, Gambino opts for the simple but effective double axe handle smash.
Only it isn’t quite as effective as he’d have hoped.
Connolly steps to the side and stick out his right arm, slamming a fist into Gambino’s stomach, doubling the Angry Italian over. With that, Connolly jumps and lays his leg across the back of his opponents neck, shoving him face first into canvas with the Dying Star Drop.
The crowd erupts at the sudden swing in momentum, and with their cheers energizing his bloody body, Connolly picks Gambino up and drops him with the high angle fisherman’s suplex he has dubbed the Kryptonite Bash.
Diamond: CONNOLLY WITH A BIG PIN HERE!
Baxter: FIGHT IT!!
Roberts does his job as The Suntan Superman pulls himself across the former champ and hooks the leg.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!
No… not three. While one leg is hooked, the other finds the bottom cable, and Roberts has no choice but to break his count with Gambino’s foot clearly on the bottom rope.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Diamond: I have to agree with the fans here, Rich! I’d much rather see the Suntan Superman get his due than the psycho-maniac standing in the ring with him!
Baxter: We’ll just have to agree to disagree, Diamond!
Though they are not pleased with the lack of a three count, the fact remains, Connolly has re-established control of the contest, and taken a step closer to the destiny both men desire.
The Suntan Superman grabs his opponent and attempts a snap suplex, but Gambino makes the block and attempt his own version of the move. Connolly is able to do the same, hooking his leg to block the momentum.
With each man struggling to show their dominance, a forgotten soul re-emerges. Though Gambino and Connolly may both desire to capture the object that offers a man near immortality, one man is determined to remain immortal.
Diamond: Cable!!
Baxter: Ohhhh, come on!!
Still locked up, neither man sees as The Beast approaches and grabs each man by the back of the head. Before they realize what is occurring, Cable smashes their skulls together.
Both men stagger backwards and Cable smacks Gambino in the face with an elbow. Connolly avoids the same fate with a quick dodge, but as he tries to throw a punch, he is caught and snapped overhead with a head an arm suplex.
"YYYYEEEAAHHHHHH!!"
The crowd fires up as the champion limps over to Gambino and leans over to pick him up. The Angry Italian is alert enough to quickly reach up and grab Cable by the neck, pulling him down, crushing his face into the knees. And the emotional comeback is cut off just like that.
Diamond: WHOA! And a momentum shift and now a pin from Gambino on the champ!!
Gambino hooks Cable’s leg.
ONE…
TWO…
THRE…
Cable kicks out at two and two thirds. For his resiliency, he is merely placed into position and spiked with a picture perfect piledriver.
This time, he shows no motion other than the rising and falling of his chest with a feeble breath. Roberts once again does what he is paid to do…
ONE…
TWO…
THRE…
Diamond: NO!! CONNOLLY FROM ABOVE!!
Baxter: I HATE THREE-WAYS!! In wrestling. Professional wrestling. Guy-on-guy profess-
Diamond: We get it.
From high above, The Suntan Superman breaks up the pin at the last possible moment in the most spectacular of fashions. A top rope leg drop that carries him across three-quarters of the ring finds its mark right across the back of Gambino’s cranium.
For a moment, Connolly moves to cover Gambino, but notices that his fellow challenger is under the ropes and safe from any pin attempt in his current position. Instead, he switches his focus to the battered champion.
Connolly drops Cable with a savage T-Bone suplex and this time, he is the man who looks to pin the dominant force.
ONE…
TWO…
THR…
Cable rips his shoulder off the mat, once again refusing to be defeated.
Diamond: The champion hangs on, and something has to give here soon, Rich!!
Baxter: Seal it, Gambino!
No time is wasted, as Connolly delivers a crisp looking standing moonsault, smashing The Beast under his 235 lbs. This time, Connolly is sure to hook a leg with the pin attempt as Roberts slides into the right spot.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!
No!
While replays show Cable’s shoulder rising off the mat, Connolly looks at Bernie Roberts hand and wonders if a piece of paper could even slide between his palm and the canvas. Still, no matter how small the space between victory and further battle, Cable had once again refused to relinquish his immortality.
Diamond: What will it take?!
Baxter: THIS MAN!
Gambino re-inserts himself in the picture, grabbing Connolly to whip him into the corner, but the momentum is reversed and it is the Angry Italian who slams back first into the turnbuckles.
The Suntan Superman lifts his co-challenger and sits him across the top rope, then climbs to the second himself. As he drapes an arm across his shoulders, he feels the ropes move under his feet. A quick turn of his head to the right shows him that The Beast has joined him on the second rope and has slung Gambino’s other arm across his own shoulders.
Without saying a word, without even so much as a nod… both men spring back in unison and all three competitors fly through the air, crashing onto the canvas with a near deafening THUD!
The spectacular double superplex brings every single fan to their feet… but it leaves all three warriors motionless in the ring, a mess of lifeless bodies just strewn about.
As the seconds tick by, each man begins to stir. Gambino is first to his feet, followed almost immediately by Connolly. Both men stagger towards each other and connect with sluggish punches in the middle of the ring.
Against the ropes, Cable struggles to try and regain his footing. Twice he nearly makes it to a vertical position, and twice his right knee gives out and sends him crashing back down. All he can do is watch the two men who wish to take everything away from him battle it out to the delight of the fans.
Diamond: I don’t know if Cable can stand! Whatever is wrong with that knee appears to be extremely serious.
Baxter: It looks like he’s going to have to sit and watch as two men decide the fate of his title!
Connecting with weak punches, each man shows exhaustion, but Gambino finds a sudden burst of strength and literally picks Connolly up and launches him over the top rope and to the floor.
Diamond: What a huge move by Gambino! This could be his chance! This could be it!
Baxter: God bless Rotten for making this Falls Count Anywhere?!
Connolly hits hard on the outside and Gambino smells blood. He quickly climbs out of the ring and grabs Connolly. He rips him up and launches him over the barricade and into the third row of chairs, very nearly taking out four fans.
"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
Diamond: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is officially on another level.
Baxter: This match is all Gambino's now. He's gonna destroy Connolly, then take out what's left of Cable.
Gambino climbs over the barricade and immediately starts stomping away at Connolly. Security are trying to block the fans from the action and Gambino is shoving them away. He grabs a folded up steel chair and throws it at Connolly.
Diamond: Gambino has lost it! He just threw that chair right at Connolly's head and now he's getting in the face of the security guards, who are just trying to look after the crowd.
Gambino grabs Connolly and launches him back over the barricade. He follows him and drills him with a vicious forearm as Connolly tries to pull himself up. Gambino grabs Connolly by the head and tights, gets a running start and launches him over the opposite side barricade. Connolly flies right into the fourth row of chairs.
"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
Diamond: And Connolly send into the chairs again!
Baxter: This has to be the most entertained I've ever been!
Gambino climbs over the barricade and grabs a steel chair. He rears back and slams it into Connolly's back. It sounds like a gunshot over the arena. Then Gambino slams it again for good measure.
He tooses the chair aside and climbs back over the barricade. Gambino raises his fists as if he's won the match.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"
Gambino jaws at a couple of fans at ringside who are disapproving of his treatment of Connolly. Security is trying to keep Gambino away from the fans, but he's shoving the Security around. Unbeknownst to him, Cable has gotten his leg stable and is charging straight at him...
"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!"
.. Cable comes flying through the ropes and drills Gambino, taking him and the Security down. He stays on top of Gambino and raining down fists on his face.
"RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
Diamond: This place is going crazy! Cable is back in this match and is taking it to Gambino.
Cable gets up, bringing Gambino up with him. He grabs him by the hair and slams his head into the barricade. Grabbing him again, Cable sends Gambino head first into the ring post.
Baxter: That dirty cheat! His leg was never hurt!
Diamond: Gambino lost focus and he's paying for it.
Gambino is down and Cable has a crazed look in his eyes. Cable reaches under the ring.
"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
Baxter: Awww hell.
Diamond: And Cable is introducing a table to the proceedings.
Cable extends the legs of the table and sets it up between the ring & the barricade. He turns his attention over the Gambino, who is struggling to his feet. Cable doesn't help matters by booting him right in the face. He then grabs Gambino by the hair and brings him over to the table. He sets him the jacknife position and lifts him up onto his shoulders. The crowd buzzes with anticipation, then roars as Cable powerbombs Gambino thru the table.
"HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!"
Diamond: I can't believe what I'm witnessing here. Cable has taken control of this match in a HUGE way!
Cable realizing that the match is Falls count Anywhere, he drops down and covers Gambino.
ONE…
TWO…
THR-NO!
Diamond: How in the hell did Gambino get a shoulder up?!
Baxter: What did you expect? It's gonna take alot more than that.
And the look of Cable's face agrees with that sentiment. Cable gets to his feet and walks over to the Spanish announce table. He rips the top covering off and starts clearing the table off of the monitors and mics.
"RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
Diamond: Well if one table doesn't get the job done, try another.
Baxter: You're sick.
Cable walks back over to Gambino and grabs him by the hair, dragging him over to the table. He slams his head into the edge of the table before putting him on top of it. Cable climbs on top of the table and sets Gambino up for another powerbomb.
But Gambino had other ideas..
"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
Diamond: Gambino with a low blow on Cable!
Baxter: By any means necessary. He may have just saved himself from certain doom.
Both men are crouched on the table in pain; Gambino holding his head and Cable hold his, um.. "head." Neither were in any condition to pay attention to the crowd starting to murmur and cheer.
Diamond: Is that?!
Baxter: That damn Connolly is back up!
Diamond: He's on the barricade!
Baxter: Gambino look out!!
Connolly leaps off the barricade, twisting his body in mid-air to have his back to Cabel and Gambino; he grabs them both by the head and drives them thru the tablle with a double Ace Crusher. The table explodes into pieces upon impact.

Andy grabs Nick and throws him up onto the table. Andy puts the ring bell covering Nicks face. Andy goes up to the top rope. Andy leaps off with a leg drop!! Andy’s leg lands on the bell and drives it deeper into the face of Nick Ryan and the table busts into pieces. Andy covers Nick!

"RAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
"HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!"
Diamond: I can't believe what I just witnessed! Connolly just put everything on the line in the damnedest move I've ever seen!
Baxter: I-I.. that crazy bitch! Like what was he thinking?!
Diamond: He was thinking about becoming Intercontinental champion, that's what!
All three men are down on the floor when suddenly Connolly drapes one arm over Cable and the other over Gambino!
REFEREE: ONE….. TWO….. THREE!!!!
DING…. DING… DING….
The crowd is split with an ovation and shock!
Masters: THE WINNER AND NEW WGWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION… CHRISTIAN CONNOLLY!!
Diamond: Connolly did it! Connolly just beat John Cable and John Gambino is what was one hell of a fight!
The referee has the IC title and presents it to Connolly who is worse for wear his self!
Baxter: Two title matches, two titles have changed hands! This doesn’t look good for my King!
Connolly reaches his feet where he starts to celebrate amongst the fans as the scene fades backstage.
MAIN EVENT
WGWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
HELL IN A CELL
M.D.K. (c)
versus
CHRIS PAGE
DING…. DING…. DING…
Masters: The following contest is for the WGWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP and is going to be held inside HELL IN CELL!!
The fans erupt!!!
Masters: Introducing first, being led to the ring by ADAM BARKER! He is the challenger and is a former Seven time WGWF World Heavyweight Champion… “CHRONIC” CHRIS PAGE!!!
The light dim as white and green strobe lights flash all over the arena. Smoke begins to bellow out to the top of the ramp and the ovation grows to a fever pitch as we see Adam Barker walk out to the top of the ramp followed by Chris Page.
Diamond: I thought I’d never see it again but right now Adam Barker and Chris Page are side by side once again.
Adam and Chris look towards each other and with a head nod from Barker we see Chris take the lead and start to make his way towards the ring!
Baxter: I hate to play spoiler but with or without Adam Barker there’s no way the King loses the title tonight!
Chris reaches ringside where he climbs up on the ring apron and steps into the ring. The fans are on fire for Page as he paces the center of the ring waiting for the World Champion.
Diamond: Page has defeated MDK two times in the last six weeks. One might question if CCP has MDK’s number.
The music fades away.
Masters: His opponent, about to make his way to the ring… He is the WGWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION…. M.D.K!!!!!
MDK emerges out to the top of the ramp with the World Title strapped securely around his waist as he’s in some old school attire with both fist heavily taped. MDK starts to make the walk towards the ring as we see Adam Barker shouting instruction towards Page.
Baxter: BEHOLD!
MDK is all business as he reaches ringside where he climbs up on the ring apron before stepping into the ring. He removes the World Title before tossing it at the referee. The music fades away.
MDK and Page stare down at each other when the house lights dim to darkness.
Strobe lights flicker throughout the arena as Hell in a Cell starts to lower down from the rafters.
Diamond: And now the proverbial third man is making his entrance!
The crowd is going absolutely crazy as Hell in a Cell continues to lower from the rafters and over the ring before coming to rest on the arena floor. The strobe lights stop flickering and the house lights come back up leaving nothing more than for the referee to ring the bell.
DING…. DING…. DING….
The fans roar as we are under way with our Main Event of the evening set to commence. MDK and Chris Page stare across the ring from each other with Adam Barker shouting words of encouragement from outside the Cell towards Chris Page.
Diamond: This is what brought us to the dance. MDK and Chris Page for the World Heavyweight Championship locked inside Hell in a Cell.
Baxter: Two men have entered but only one of these men is going to survive!
The crowd is jacked as there’s a massive “CCP! CCP! CCP!” chant directed towards the ring. Both Page and MDK take a moment to look around as they’re completely enclosed by the Hell in a Cell. Reality sets in as its one on one and the best man is going to leave tonight with the title over their shoulder. The two men walk out towards the center of the ring where they go face to face, nose to nose which draws an even louder ovation from the sold out crowd!
Diamond: I’m getting goosebumps! I was here ten years ago when these two took center stage and tore the house down and I’ve been here for all the chapters of this ongoing saga between MDK and Chris Page; tonight we write our next chapter.
Both MDK and Chris Page start to talk a little smack back and forth as this isn’t either man’s first rodeo. They back away from each other before starting to circle each other inside the ring. They lock up center ring where they jockey for positioning, neither man giving an inch to start off with. It’s Page who snatches on to a side headlock where he starts cranking down with the headlock. MDK hammers a forearm to the stomach before backing Page up against the ropes, MDK sends Chris across the ring with an Irish Whip, Page bounces of the ropes where MDK drops down to his chest, Page jumps over MDK bouncing off the near side, MDK pops back up to his feet where he side steps Page and sends Chris over the top rope! Page lands on the ring apron, MDK charges towards him where he eats a shoulder block to the midsection doubling him over. Page sling shots over the top rope looking for a Sling Shot DDT! MDK latches on to the middle rope sending Page crashing down onto the mat stomach first. Chris rolls over getting to a seated position where he ducks under a head kick attempt by MDK where he catches the Champion with a School Boy!
REFEREE: ONE…. TWO…. THR
MDK kicks out and both men are quickly back to a vertical base to a stalemate as the crowd roars. Both men start to circle the ring as they size each other up where we see MDK reach out to the side with his left hand.
