The screen is up, telling you that the big event will be starting shortly. This is the screen that always seems to last too long, leaving everyone wondering if things are actually going to kick off anytime soon. But, finally, it goes to black. It stays that way as we begin to hear the sounds of explosions in the distance. After a few more seconds, as the sounds grow louder, the picture begins to come up, showing us a battlefield trench. Dust is flying through the air from a near miss, as we begin to move along the trench, making our way forward.
As we continue through the trench, with the explosions getting closer and closer, we begin to hear a voice raised through the firefight.
”War. Who is it good for?
Another explosion lands perilously close to our location, shaking the very ground under our feet. We stumble forward, landing on our hands and knees, before pulling ourselves upright again.
”There is violence. There is destruction. But there is also… honor.””
Other troops can be seen, pouring into the shot. The officer in charge gives a shot, and everyone begins climbing out of the trench for a charge. We join them, going up over a ladder and racing into the fiery battlefield… as a powerful tune begins to play.
”And sometimes… for there to be change… there has to be war.”
As we run through the battlefield, we can see fighting all around us. Battles between adversaries with scores to settle…
Rivals with their futures on the line…
Veterans knowing this could be their opportunity…
And even those who just want to fight…
Sometimes it’s all about bad blood…
And sometimes it’s just about respect.
As the final battle scenes are shown, we look around, seeing the devastation all around. We then look upwards, seeing one final shell come flying in. There’s a massive explosion… and we find ourselves in Dallas, Texas, at the AT&T Stadium, for the start of WrestleWars weekend! The crowd is going wild in the completely sold out arena, as the camera settles on… the announcers standing to the side.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the biggest weekend in wrestling! Welcome to WrestleWars!! It’s going to be an intense event, so intense that every announcer in the WGWF will be calling matches here over the weekend! That includes myself and CJJ from Monday Night Smash…
CJJ: Wooo, excited to be here to see The Fortunate Ones dominate everything!
PATRICK MATHEWS: As well as Derrick Diamond from Monday Night Brawl… and Derrick, I can’t help but notice that you’re here alone tonight! Where’s Centurion?
DERRICK DIAMOND: Well, Patrick… I can’t honestly say. I was told that I would find out about the Brawl announcing team here tonight.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Strange. Well, I’m sure we…
Suddenly, the lights shine on the stage entrance, as a familiar tune begins to play.
DERRICK DIAMOND: Wait a second, that’s the old Adrenaline theme. Does that mean…
The crowd turns to the entryway, as the most surprising of individuals walks out of the back. Flash Rotten walks casually down the ramp, smirking at those who are looking on in shock and enjoying the cheers from those that recognize him.
PATRICK MATHEWS: We haven’t seen Flash since he broke up with the Fortunate Ones!
DERRICK DIAMOND: Looks like the team is coming back together!
Flash stops next to Derrick, looking him up and down, before smirking again and offering a handshake. Derrick returns it, with Flash dusting his hand off afterwards.
FLASH ROTTEN: It’s great to have me back, isn’t it? Now we’re fully stacked to have a hell of a night! Let’s get to the wrestling!
The crowd cheers as Flash, Derrick, Patrick, and CJJ take their places, as we prepare to kick things off inside a steel cage!
The crowd begins to roar as strobe lights flicker displaying the Steel Cage that lowers from the rafters.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Here we go! I’ve been waiting for this one!
CJJ: Why? Grado is going to get destroyed.
The crowd erupts with massive boos.
MEMPHIS BELLE “Ladies and Gentleman the following contest is a STEEL CAGE match! Introducing first, about to make his way to the ring… he is “SINISTER” SETH STEVENS!”
The steel cage touches down on the ring apron as attention diverts to the top of the ramp to see Seth Stevens walk out to the top of the ramp with a sly smirk on his face. Seth begins making his way toward the ring.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Here comes the man who nearly ended the career of Grado.
CJJ: Don’t worry Patrick, Seth will finish what he started tonight.
Stevens sees a Grado sign on the way to the ring. Seth snatches the sign and rips it in front of the young fan before flipping them off. Stevens reaches ringside where he looks up at the Steel Cage before turning and making his way to the steel steps. Seth climbs the stairs and enters the cage. The music fades away leaving nothing but boos from the Dallas crowd. The lights go dark bringing a massive pop from the crowd.
MEMPHIS BELLE “And his opponent, about to make his way to the ring… EDWARD GRADO!”
The Dallas crowd sings along with the sweet sounds of Madonna as a spotlight hits the top of the ramp to see…
The ovation is INSANE for Grado as he struts ass out to the top of the ramp. The fun and games with Edward are immediately through as he looks down to the ring to see Seth inside the Steel Cage. Edward unzips his fanny pack, slowly, and pulls out a roll of white athletic tape. Edward begins wrapping his right fist in tape followed by his left. Edward removes the fanny pack and drops it at the top of the ramp. Edward walks toward the ring where Seth taunts him to “bring it”.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Here we go!
As Edward reaches ringside we see Seth walk to the Cage door and slam it shut while holding the door closed so the referee cannot open it to allow Grado into the cage. Edward attempts to get into the Cage but Seth maintains his grip on the door regardless of the referee on the inside and on the outside admonishing him to allow Edward to enter. Edward shrugs his shoulders and makes his way to the side of the cage where he begins to scale the Cage to a roar from the crowd. Edward reaches the top of the cage and throws one leg over the top.
CJJ: What is this idiot doing?!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Ummmm, finding his way in the Cage because Seth is a scared baby.
CJJ: I’m going to tell him you said that.
Grado brings his other leg over the top of the Cage as Seth spouts out from the mat below. Grado looks around the jam packed Stadium before leaping off the Cage and crashing down on Stevens with a Flying Cross Body Block! The crowd roars as the referee calls for the bell and it’s Grado with a cover on Stevens!

Seth escapes with a kickout to a gasp from the crowd! Grado is the first to his feet where he picks Stevens up and chokes him back into a neutral corner with both hands across the neck! Seth is backed against the buckles where Grado unloads with a series of European Uppercuts! Grado brings Seth out from the corner with a short-arm lariat that sends Stevens down to the mat. The crowd is on fire for Grado as drops an elbow across the sternum and looks for another cover.

THRE…
Seth escapes with another kick out. Grado is quickly back to his feet where he picks Stevens up by the hair and points toward the Cage!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Grado isn’t wasting any time with Stevebs tonight!
Grado runs toward the cage and looks to send Seth face first off the mesh of the chainlink but Stevens puts on the breaks for both hands and his left boot on the Cage blocking the attempt. Seth reaches across with his right hand and gouges Edward in the eyes breaking Grado’s grasp. Stevens hammers away with a series of right jabs to the jaw before Stevens delivers a bionic elbow that staggers Grado back into a neutral corner. Seth charges in with a diving shoulder block to the midsection and follows up with two more shoulder blocks before back handspringing away from Grado and charging forward with Grado throws a reverse elbow rocking Stevens backward toward the center of the ring. Edward explodes out from the corner with a double leg takedown where he transitions into a full mount position where he unloads with right hands to the face of Stevens as the crowd roars intently!
CJJ: I’m hardly shocked by this reception from these fickle fans.
Grado lands right hand after right hand before getting up to his feet. Grado takes the legs of Stevens and looks to catapult him into the side of the Cage! Seth is sent sailing but he latches onto the Cage like Spiderman and starts scaling toward the top! The crowd responds telling Grado as Edward gets to his feet and turns around seeing Seth nearing the top of the cage! Grado runs to the cage and snags the right ankle of Stevens as he pulls Seth down while climbing up the ropes to the top rope where they both stand. Edward looks to drive Seth into the cage but Stevens puts on the breaks and counters by driving Grado face-first off the steel and parlays it into a Side Russian Leg Sweep off the top rope and down to the mat on Grado!
Seth takes several seconds before rolling over into a cover.

THRE…
The Dallas crowd roars as Edward pops a shoulder off the mat.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Stevens just found the opening and exploited it to gain the upper hand.
CJJ: I’m telling ya to stop sleeping on Seth Stevens.
Seth gets back to his feet where he begins stomping away at Grado to boos from the crowd. Seth breaks away from Grado and directs his attention toward the crowd where he flips them off with both middle fingers bringing more boos from them. Stevens drops his hands charges toward the ropes and bounces off them where he delivers a Rolling Thunder crashing down on top of Edward Grado.
Seth makes another cover with a hook of the leg.

THRE…
Grado pops a shoulder off the mat to a pop from the crowd. Stevens immediately hammers down with right hands to the forehead of Grado.
CJJ: And now the fun and games are officially over.
Seth steps back up to his feet where he picks Edward up and drives him face-first off the Cage before Stevens begins raking Grado’s face across the mesh of the steel. Grado screams out in pain as blood begins to flow from his forehead. Seth brings Grado off the cage and begins biting him across the forehead! Seth releases his chompers and drives a knee into the midsection of Grado dropping him to one knee where Stevens connects with a Superkick that knocks Edward down to the mat.
Stevens throws up a double middle finger to loud boos from the crowd before dropping down making the cover.

The crowd roars with Grado’s kick out! The ovation shifts to a “GRADO! GRADO! GRADO!” chant from the Dallas crowd.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Come on Grado!
Stevens gets back to his feet where he reaches down picking Edward up off the mat where he decks him in the bloody forehead with a right hand rocking Grado back into the ropes. Stevens comes forward where he looks for an Irish Whip, Grado counters and it’s Stevens who bounces off the ropes and into a Lou Thess Press by Grado to a thunderous ovation from the crowd as we see Grado hammer down with right hands to the face of Stevens. Grado lands five shots and gets back to his feet where he bounces off the ropes and drives the point of the elbow down into the forehead of Stevens! Grado makes the cover.

THRE…
Stevens escapes with a kick out! Grado begins working his way back to his feet where he pats his forehead and sees the blood on his hand. Edward screams out while Stevens is getting back to his feet using the ropes to pull himself up to a vertical base. Seth spins around and is met with a series of jabs by Grado who lands a Bionic Elbow dropping Stevens! Grado breaks out into a Dusty Rhodes strut.
CJJ: COME ON STEVENS!
The crowd erupts for Grado as we hear a GRADO chant from the crowd. Grado reaches down and picks Seth up off the mat where he takes him and sends him face-first off the Cage! Grado maintains the hair of Stevens and runs him across the ring and face-first into the other side of the Cage! Grado runs Stevens across the ring and sends him into the Cage a third time! Seth’s been busted open as he cumbles to the mat. Edward grabs the right leg of Stevens and spins around as he locks in a Figure Four Leg Lock!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Stevens is in trouble!
The referee slides into position as the crowd roars loudly. Stevens screams out in pain as the referee begins asking him to surrender! Stevens shakes off the referee as Grado cranks on the pressure! Seth doesn’t hesitate as he manages to reverse the hold by rolling over to his chest putting the pressure on Grado! The referee begins asking Edward to surrender but before he can finish Edward releases the hold.
CJJ: Come on Stevens! Get this back on track!
The crowd is solidly behind Grado as they chant his name while both men get back to a vertical base. Stevens backs himself up into a neutral corner as he begs away from Grado. Edward points at Seth to a thunderous ovation! Grado charges into the corner where he leaps up looking for a Monkey Flip but it’s Stevens who catches Edward and brings him out from the corner before running across the ring delivering a running powerbomb into the side of the Cage! Grado bounces off the Cage and into a Superkick by Stevens! Grado falls to the mat on his back leaving Seth to make his way to the nearest set of buckles. Stevens starts to climb up to the top rope from the inside of the ring.
Seth sizes up Grado and sets sail with a 10 Star Frog Splash crashing down on top of Grado!
CJJ: THAT ALL SHE WROTE! GOODNIGHT GRADO!
Stevens is into the cover with a hook of the leg.

THRE…
The crowd explodes as Grado shoots a shoulder off the mat!
PATRICK MATHEWS: I DON’T BELIEVE IT!
Stevens is completely beside himself as the blood trickles down his face. The crowd isn’t heard cheering, oh no, they’re heard singing the chorus of “Like a Prayer” by Madonna.
CJJ: Now I don’t believe it! Like a Prayer?
Seth starts getting back to his feet as he calls out a three count toward the referee. Seth flips off the official before backing up into a corner where he starts scaling the cage! Grado hasn’t moved yet the singing from the crowd continues and only gets louder and louder! Seth reaches the top rope and continues to climb.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Stevens is going to escape the cage!
Seth nears the top of the cage as the singing from the crowd is so loud you can hardly hear yourself think.
CJJ: Would these hicks shut the hell up!!??!!
Stevens reaches the top of the cage and hurls one leg over the top. Seth looks down at Grado who still hasn’t moved. Seth looks out across AT&T Stadium as “Like a Prayer” is still being sung. Seth positions himself in the corner of the Cage and then stands up.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Oh no!
CJJ: Oh yes!
Seth flips off Grado before leaping off the top of the Cage with a Frog Splash! Grado sits up like the Undertaker at the last possible second which sends Stevens crashing violently into the mat! The crowd sings louder and louder as it seems to fire up Grado! Grado starts kicking his legs before spinning up to one knee as the blood pours down the side of his face! Edward steps up to his feet! He snatches Stevens up by the hair and sends him crashing into the side of the Cage! Stevens bounces off the cage and staggers around where he eats a Big Boot from Grado which sends him to the mat.
Edward bounces off the ropes and drops a Big Leg across the throat!

The crowd explodes for Grado as he gets to his knees following the three count. The referee raises his arm in victory as the Cage begins to rise.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Grado has done it! He’s knocked off Seth Stevens and finally gotten a level of revenge!
The cameras pick up in the back of the arena where you see AT&T workers as well as WGWF personnel getting ready for Night 1. Everything looks to be on the up and up, with no issues at the moment. But it feels too calm right now. It’s like the weatherman was wrong again because he predicted a thunderstorm with heavy winds and lighting. And right now, it's sunny with no winds. The workers are doing their thing, not a sound other than light chatter. But that is about to change because the sound of a loud motorcycle can be heard coming this way.
CJJ: I wonder if that is Jason Kelce roaring his ass in here to piss off the Cowboy fans.
PATRICK MATHEWS: I don't think he would have the balls to do that, but I would pay to see that.
CJJ: Or maybe it’s Dak looking for Jerry since he needs a new contract.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Maybe he needs to talk to Barrows since we have some cap space with not signing J Mont back to Smash.
CJJ: You can go to hell for that comment.
The workers all turn around as their attention focuses on the tunnel where the loud sounds are coming from. As the sound gets closer and closer, they all have their hands over their ears. This is the thunderstorm that was supposed to be coming because the sound is just ridiculously loud and obnoxious. As the bike’s headlight can be seen first, it comes roaring around the corner and it looks like it's not going to stop. Everyone scatters away like gunshots just went off in daylight in the streets of the Bronx. As the bike gets close to the cameraman, it slides sideways and leaves a long impressing skid mark. As the bike comes to a complete stop, you can see a man dressed in all black with a helmet on, but the front part has a light tint, so it's hard to distinguish who it is.
CJJ: Whoever it is, looks like he is ready to kill someone. All Black and a dual wheel bike. Truly means business here tonight.
PATRICK MATHEWS: My gut is telling me that I am not going to like this.
The knees of the camera man are shaking. And I can bet you a million bucks this man SHARTED his pants. As the man slowly gets off the bike, you can see him reach up and pull off the helmet.
CJJ: YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has surprised me. He usually gives me a heads up on things but I'm loving this. The new IC Champ has arrived.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Where is his belt then?
CJJ: He is leaving with it. He came alone on the bike and is leaving with a passenger.
J Mont walks around this custom bike and sees the cameraman who is truly scared for his life.
J MONT: It’s alright buddy. I come in peace, RIGHT NOW! I'm just reminding the world that I do what I want, when I want. It’s that simple. I mean, who else can arrive like this? Did you guys really think it was going to be that bum ass QB who can't win a playoff game? Or your star point guard that is great when the pressure isn't on him? You can take the skills of DAK PLUS LUKA PLUS DEVLIN and it's still not enough to stop me. Just like this Dodge Viper Tomahawk Bike that is equipped with a V 10 Motor and 500 horsepower, and dual wheels, front and back, it cannot be stopped like me. While this bike does 0 to 100 in 2.6 seconds, I am going to beat Devlin just as fast in that ring tonight. I do not get paid by the hour, OH WAIT! I am not even getting paid for this cause I am no longer an active roster member, but I am here tonight to shut up Devlin, take that IC title home to The Fortunate Ones and never come back to this dump again.
J Mont pushes by the cameraman, but then realizes he is not done yet with what he has to say.
J MONT: Tonight is going to be a special night. Tonight is going to be a night dedicated to a few people that were done wrong by the WGWF and Fred “Devlin” Knight. I am going to get revenge and show my loyalty will never leave the side of Clyde Newton and Sonya Benson. You took my little brother away from me, and then took my BESTIE away from me in Sonya Benson. You also voided the contract of Shaun Hart. I see what is going on here. Everyone is jealous and scared of The Fortunate Ones here and the only way to get rid of us is to fire us, ban us or not resign us. But that is ok. Wrestle Wars is going to be where myself and Amber Mansley change the game on the WGWF. Amber will be leaving a Double Champ with the X Division and Bloodbath Title. Then, I will leave with the IC Title of Monday Night Brawl. Amber will still be around, but will I?
J Mont has that sinister smirk on his face.
CJJ: Barrows needs to do the right thing and SIGN MONT. Him on Brawl would be a blow to the Smash Roster!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Candice will not sign J Mont there. The IC title would just be left in Limbo!
CJJ: Take the IC title to Smash Mont. Contract or no Contract, you are the WGWF!
J Mont looks directly into the camera.
J MONT: WGWF! Jonathan Barrows! Candice Page! Chris Page! New GM on Brawl, if there is even one! The accountant! You are all warned that tonight, a NEW ERA dawns! A new TAKEOVER. The Fortunate Ones are not dead. Sure you tried to kill us, but you didn't get the job done. And if anyone knows J Mont, all you did was just piss me off to the point that I am going to do something even bigger. We walk in with no GOLD and leave with 3 Belts, and a couple of new members. Maybe tonight you hear about it, maybe next week you hear about it, but stay tuned because The Fortunate Ones never Die and will always be on the top of the Wrestling Industry and WGWF. Now take a Sponge and Soak all of that in bitches!
J Mont looks ready for business tonight. Not even in a custom suit or anything. Dressed all in black and looks like this could be the funeral of Devlin Knight. The cameraman is still filming the back of J Mont as he walks away. THe image is getting smaller and smaller, like the brain of John Cable. The camera man turns around and gets one more shot of the Dodge Tomahawk bike of J Mont.
CJJ: Everyone had done fucked up now. The Fortunate Ones are more pissed than ever. Tonight is going to be epic.
PATRICK MATHEWS: J Mont has no friends. He has burnt all his bridges. I think he is just talking out of his ass and hoping this instills fear into everyone in the back. No one would be dumb enough to align with the most hated man in the wrestling world today.
CJJ: J Mont for Pres. 2024. He has my vote. He won't let you down. Just watch. IC Title win and The Fortunate Ones regroup. What a night it's going to be.
PATRICK MATHEWS: J Mont and Devlin is going to be a battle that I am looking forward too.
MEMPHIS BELLE: The next match is a Triple Threat match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first…
As Faint by Memphis May Fire plays, Ruby Darling walks out onto the stage, confident.
MEMPHIS BELLE: Standing 6’2”, from Ohahu, Hawaii, here is Ruby Darling!
Darling makes her way down to the ring, sliding inside before preparing for her opponents.
MEMPHIS BELLE: Next, standing 5’5” and weighing 115 lbs, from Boston, Massachusetts, THE CEO LATOYA HIXX!!!
When Mone hit's she comes out wearing a all white gear and Sunglasses and Ceo Brass Knuckles and walks out on stage and grooves and steps her heel toe and heads straight down towards the ramp and slaps some kids and adults and gets in front of the camera and show them her new Ceo Brass Knuckles and gets in the ring and takes off her shades and and her wrestling gear and hands it to the camera men and waits for the match to begin.
MEMPHIS BELLE: And now, the final opponent…
[font color=orangered[“Release me"[/font[
The two words from the Public Address system in the arena cause the fans in attendance, already on their feet, to react with disdain and unappreciative shouts. Kat Jones,, badass Cincinnati native of ill repute methodically makes her way to the top of the ramp from the gorilla position accompanied by her sinister sibling Mac Bane. Her black shorts and knee high boots are more characterizing of her facial expression and attitude toward the scathing crowd, than her highly decorative top full of self expression.
"No remnants were ever found of it
Feeling the hot bile
With every fake smile
Though no evidence was ever found
It never went away completely"
Kat walks toward the ring with Mac beside her, they walk together methodically and without much concern at all, regarding the insults and jeers thrown in their direction.
MEMPHIS BELLE: “Making her way to the ring, accompanied to the ring by Mac Bane... She hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, standing five feet, eight inches tall and weighing in at one hundred twenty eight pounds, she is the "WildKat"... KAT JJOONNEESS!!!”
"I try to hide from the unholy sound of it
Another day gone
Another night's dawn"
Standing before the ring apron, Kat removes her black leather jacket, whips it behind her, releasing it and allowing it to sail toward the ramp, ultimately letting out a bloodcurdling scream, before she enters the ring and awaits .......... arrival.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The match is on its way as we see Ruby face off against the recently returned Kat Jones and Latoya Hixx. The veteran Kat gets in the face of Latoya before shoving her hand in her face and push off the CEO of WGWF. That gives Ruby the opportunity to spin Kat around and whips her in the ropes before dropping her with a big time clothesline. Ruby turns around and is met by a Latoya Hixx dropkick that sends her staggering in the ropes before we see both Latoya Hixx and Kat Jones grab her by the arm for a double Irish Whip into the ropes, there we see Kat charge in on Ruby who knocks her down with a big boot before Kat Jones going for a cross body block that Rudy catches and executes a Samoan Drop that sends Kat crashing down hard on the canvas.
Derrick Diamond: Welcome back Kat Jones!! Courtesy of one of our hottest talents Ruby Darling!!!
Ruby gets up as she grabs hold of Kat Jones her arm, setting her up for an Irish Whip, only to have Latoya Hixx run the ropes and jumps off the ropes for a Springboard forearm smash that sends Ruby staggering in the ropes before having her arms locked between the middle and top rope as we see Latoya preparing herself to execute an offensive move as she runs to the opposite side of the ring, only to be tripped by a Kat Jones executes a Drop Toe Hold into a Cross face Chicken wing submission hold as Latoya is desperately trying to break out of the tight grip that Kat has on her as Ruby is trying to break free from the ropes that holds her back.
Flash Rotten: Kat is like an assassin, not wasting any time when she knows she has a shot to put someone down and win the match!!
We finally see Ruby release herself from the ropes, dropping an elbow upon Kat that causes her to let go off the hold before setting her up for a Belly to Belly suplex that drops Kat hard before turning her attention towards Latoya Hixx. She grabs her by the head and sets her up for a Powerbomb, lifting her up in the air before setting her up to be dropped. Only for Latoya to manage to get her legs around the head of Ruby and escape her grip as she sets herself up for a Hurricanrana. But Ruby manages to block it by using her immense strength as she wraps her arms around the midsection of Latoya and lifts her back up in the air before setting her up for a Powerbomb. Only to be dropped from behind as Kat Jones delivers a shotblock into the back of Ruby’s left knee as that drops her to the canvas while Latoya falls awkwardly on her back.
Derrick Diamond: Smart move from Kat to eliminate the power from underneath Ruby Darling!!
We see Latoya has fallen to the outside of the ring as Kat grabs the leg and starts to kick it, then wraps the ankle in an Ankle lock, trying to work over on the painful leg as Ruby manages to roll over on her back and pushes her good leg off against Kat that sends her into the ropes before coming off as Ruby grabs her by the throat as she gets up to her knees. Kat’s eyes are getting wide in shock, feeling the strength from Ruby Darling as she slowly gets to her feet before turning Kat’s position into another Belly to Belly position as she drops Kat down hard to the canvas before going for the cover.

Kat manages to get her shoulder off the canvas as we see Latoya has gotten on top of the ring apron, jumping up on the top rope for a Springboard Hurricanrana on the larger Latoya who she drops down before running the ropes and executes a Springboard Moonsault on top of Ruby Darling as that gets the crowd popping. Latoya slowly rolls Ruby over on her back before hooking both legs.

Ruby bench presses Latoya off of her, causing Latoya to immediately go for a cover on Kat Jones.

Ruby manages to pull Latoya off of Kat Jones as she has slowly gotten back to her feet, hobbling on one bad leg as she sends Latoya into the ropes and prepares herself for a Super Kick on the CEO, but Latoya manages to sidestep the offensive move before running to the ropes and comes off the ropes with a Back Elbow. The elbow comes in contact with Ruby, who staggers backwards into the waiting arms of Kat Jones who executes a German Overhead released Suplex before going for the cover as the fans go wild for the continuity of these three women.

Latoya breaks the pin as she executes a Leg drop across the back of Kat Jones. Latoya realizes that with two opponents inside the ring that it will be difficult to get a fall on either of them, causing her to decide to toss Kat Jones out of the ring before clapping her hands to get the fans into it as she climbs the top turnbuckle in preparation to jump off on top of Ruby Darling. Only Latoya takes a bit too much time to prepare, granting Ruby the chance to get to her feet and blast Latoya across the face before climbing the second turnbuckle.
Flash Rotten: Uh oh!!!
Derrick Diamond: Whatever Ruby has on her mind, it cannot be good news for Latoya!!
We see Ruby prepare herself to execute a Super plex on Latoya while standing on the middle rope. We see Latoya struggling to break free as she hits some heavy forearm shots and a headbutt to stagger Ruby, only for the bigger and stronger woman to block a final punch as she blasts Latoya across the face with an open hand slap that causes the fans to cheer. She then finally locks Latoya for a Super Plex and drops her down hard on the canvas as Latoya sits up in pain, gasping for air as the move has driven all of the oxygen out of her lungs. Latoya crawls over towards her and places her on her back as she goes for the cover.

It’s Latoya that manages to get her shoulder off the canvas, barely beating the three count from the official who signals towards Ruby that it was merely a count of two. Ruby gets her hands on her knees for a moment, shaking her head before grabbing hold of Latoya as she prepares her for an Irish Whip as she sets herself up to drop Latoya with a Spine Buster. Only for Latoya to fall down to the outside as Kat Jones has pulled down the top rope, causing Latoya to lose her balance and her falls down on the concrete floor. There we see Kat viciously attack Latoya, kicking her in the midsection before Ruby to lean through between the middle and top rope as she grabs hold of Kat who had not expected that. Ruby tries to pull her up on the ring apron by grabbing hold of her head, only for Kat to grab hold of Ruby’s head and drives a high knee into the forehead as that sends her backwards in the middle of the ring.
Flash Rotten: Kat is not a kitty that you can grab without wearing three layers of gloves!!!
Kat slides back into the ring and starts to lay some heavy blows to the forehead of Ruby Darling, who in response pushes Kat off of her as she tries to get back to her feet. Kat charges in on her and drives a knee to the side of Ruby’s head before setting her up for a DDT in the middle of the ring. Ony for Ruby to wrap her powerful arms around her midsection as she drives her spine first into the turnbuckles before delivering series of shoulder tackles in the midsection. This causes Kat to release the hold that she had on the larger Ruby before Ruby hits her with a head butt that sends Kat down to the canvas as Ruby stands tall as the fans cheer her on.
Derrick Diamond: I can see a great future for this youngster in our company!!!
Flash Rotten: True Derrick, but she must not waste too much time or take her eyes off her opponents!!!!
Ruby is in her zone, only to turn around and walks straight into a Missile Dropkick from a different corner of the ring as Latoya has gotten back in the match. This causes Ruby to fall down as Latoya turns her focus upon Kat Jones and drives a knee in the side of her face as that seemingly knocks her out. Turning her attention towards Ruby as she senses victory to be near, she executes a standing Moonsault on Ruby, but Ruby manages to lift her knees in the air as that causes Latoya to crash down upon them. Ruby then slowly gets up, her painful leg still effecting it as the weight of Latoya did her no favours as well. Slowly getting to her feet ass he tries to fight through the pain as she sets Latoya up for a Powerbomb in the middle of the ring.
Derrick Diamond: HERE WE GO!! Ruby may have this match won if she hits that move!!!
We see Latoya lifted in the air, Ruby is about to drop her as suddenly she buckles down forward due to another shot block from Kat Jones. This causes Latoya to drop down to the canvas, straight into the arms of Kat that executes her patented Cradle DDT before going for the cover.

Ding! Ding! Ding!
We see Kat get her arm raised just moments after having secured the pin on Latoya Hixx. In the meantime we see Ruby slowly get to her feet, starting to realize what had happened as she gets in the face of Kat Jones. Clearly upset as she knows that she had the match won if Kat Jones had not interfered and took her leg out from underneath her. The two women remain in a stare down before Kat tells her something before rolling out of the ring and celebrates her win while neither woman take each other’s eyes off of each other.
Flash Rotten: I may not be a future teller Derrick, but I have a feeling that this isn’t the final time that these two women will share the ring with each other!!!
The camera jumps to the back area concession stands, where some fans are making their way over to sample the delicious goodies on sale. One booth in particular stands out from the rest:
CJJ: What on earth is that monstrosity?
DERRICK DIAMOND: I believe that's a gift from one Jenny Myst, who wanted to give something to all of those who had the misfortune of NOT being able to see her wrestle during Night One.
CJJ: She is a strange cat...
PATRICK MATHEWS: Spongecake, you say?
CJJ: Get back here Patrick!
MEMPHIS BELLE: The next match is scheduled for one fall, and will decide the #1 Contender for the WGWF Heavyweight Championship of the World! Introducing first, representing Smash…
The lights dim around the arena and a hush descends on the crowd. The opening taps of drums and the beginning riffs of the guitar of Pop Evil's 'Trenches' can be heard filtering through the speakers. Green pin spots swirl wildly around the arena flashing across the fans as they start to cheer wildly. Smoke fills the metal ramp as the drum beat and the guitar pick up a bit. A figure can be seen making its way out of the curtain atop the ramp, and green spotlights tear into the darkness, crisscrossing wildly in front of the curtain where we see a large silhouette of a man lit from behind the curtains.
MEMPHIS BELLE: Standing 6’5” and weighing 256 lbs, from Jacksonville, Florida, here is JOHNATHAN “THE BEAST” CABLE!!
[iThe lyrics begin to chant the chorus and the fans really get into the bass beat of the drums and the kicking riffs of the guitar. The spotlights are waving across the stage wildly, and out of the darkness of the curtain, into the green spotlights waving everywhere, just as the music kicks in hard, Johnathan Cable springs forward onto the ramp screaming at the night. Cables makes his way down the ramp towards the rings as the fans cheer wildly. The lights fade in as the music goes on, and Johnathan slides in under the ropes to get ready for his match.
[/i]As we continue through the trench, with the explosions getting closer and closer, we begin to hear a voice raised through the firefight.

CJJ: THAT ALL SHE WROTE! GOODNIGHT GRADO!
Stevens is into the cover with a hook of the leg.

WINNER VIA PINFALL: EDWARD GRADO

MEMPHIS BELLE: And now, his opponent…
"Extreme Malice" Echoes through the stadium as the camera rotates around. Seconds later, CJ Phoenix walks out and stops at the middle of the ramp, stretching his arms out while lowering his head.
MEMPHIS BELLE: Making his way to the ring, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana...weighing in at 201lbs...the Luminary of Despair...CJ PHOENIX!!!
As the chorus begins, he covers half of his face with his hand. Then, he slowly lowers his arm and looks around at the arena. A sinister smile grows on his face as he walks to the ring. Once inside, he hops on the turnbuckle and stares off unto the audience. Finally, he hops down, looks into the camera lens, and covers one side of his face with his hand for a second and shouts "LET THERE BE LIGHT".
DERRICK DIAMOND: So since this is a battle that uses both Brawl and Smash superstars, it looks like we’re going to change up the commentary teams a little.
CJJ: They definitely chose the best, though, didn’t they Derrick?
DERRICK DIAMOND: … So it’s between you and Flash, right?
I can’t say Patrick?
CJJ: Don’t make me change my mind here, Derrick…
The opening bell sounds as John Cable and CJ Phoenix stare across the ring from each other. The crowd is in a frenzy as they walk out from their corners and go face-to-face in the center of the ring. Cable looks down at CJ who nods his head while the crowd continues to amp themselves up. CJ and Cable fist bump before backing away from each other. They circle and lock up with John muscling Phoenix back into the ropes. The referee calls for the clean break and is given on by Cable who backs away to the center of the ring.
DERRICK DIAMOND: A lot is riding on this Number One Contender match. Neither man can afford to make a mistake, and it’s clear that this is a feeling-out process.
CJJ: The winner of this is going to have a tough challenge in either Mac Bane or Cholo.
CJ comes off the ropes where he and Cable circle each other and look to lock up. Cable once again uses his size and strength to muscle Phoenix back into a neutral corner where the referee calls for the break. Cable holds onto CJ before breaking away.
DERRICK DIAMOND: Cable’s back against the wall because coming off a loss to Lux, a loss to Enigma, if he loses this one a hard reset might have to be hit.
CJJ: He’s grown to like the taste of humble pie.
CJ nods toward Cable as he comes out from the corner. They circle each other and look for another lock up but CJ goes behind with a back waistlock. There’s a quick standing side switch by Cable which is quickly countered by CJ with a drop toe hold, CJ floats over into a front face lock that Cable transitions into a Japanese Armbar! The referee slides into position but CJ pushes off the mat and rolls through transitioning into a armbar of his own. Cable works his way back to his feet where he takes CJ back into the ropes and shoots him across the ring, CJ bounces off the near side ducking under a Cable lariat! Cable spins around and eats a spinning wheel kick that takes the Beast down! CJ pops back up to his feet and follows up with a standing moonsault!

CJJ: CJ locked in the Sharpshooter on the big man!
The referee slides into position asking Cable to surrender. John refuses as CJ sits back on the hold while cranking back on the legs. The referee continues to ask Cable to surrender, and again it’s met with Cable shaking off the referee.
DERRICK DIAMOND: Cable must find a way to get out of this hold. CJ has him locked in the center of the ring.
CJ maintains the pressure as the referee asks Cable once again to surrender. Cable shakes off the referee and begins to push himself up off the mat. John begins walking on his hands toward the ropes at a slow pace but ultimately reaches out and snags the bottom rope forcing the referee to call for the break.
CJJ: Our favorite choke artist makes the ropes.
DERRICK DIAMOND: Well that was rude.
CJJ: The truth hurts.
CJ releases the hold and when he does it’s Cable who rolls out to the floor in an attempt to create some space. CJ bounces off the far side and gains a full head of steam where he dives through the ropes with a Suicide Dive knocking Cable backward and into the security barrier. CJ looks to take further control as he looks to send Cable crashing into the ring steps! Cable reverses and it’s CJ who smashes into the steel steps! Cable comes forward picking CJ up and hurling him back into the ring. Cable rolls into the ring and gets back to his feet. CJ pushes himself up off the mat and when he staggers around Cable snatches CJ by the throat where he hoists up Phoenix and drives him down onto the mat with a thunderous chokeslam! CJJ: Cable can’t seem to put it together and put away CJ. Seems like that’s a trend for a guy that thinks the world revolves around him.
DERRICK DIAMOND: I’m going to laugh so hard when Cable drops you like a bad habit with all the shit you’re talking.
CJJ: I’m not saying anything that isn’t true. It’s not my fault he can’t get it done when it matters. That sounds like a him problem.
Cable steps back up to his feet where he picks CJ up and takes him back into the ropes. Cable shoots CJ across the ring, CJ bounces off the near side and ducks under a Cable Big Boot attempt. CJ puts on the brakes and when Cable spins around he drives a boot into the midsection causing John to double over where he’s planted into the mat with a DDT! CJ rolls to the ring apron under the bottom rope. He uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet before he begins to scale the nearest set of turnbuckles. Inside the ring we see Cable roll over to his chest and begin to push himself up off the mat. As John reaches his feet it’s CJ who sets sail with a Missile Dropkick right on the money knocking Cable down to the mat! CJ is quickly into a cover with a side press and a hook of the inside leg.

The referee lifts up CJ Phoenix’s arm, showing him as the winner, as Cable pulls himself up, looking over at him. He shakes his head, not complaining, although he looks frustrated. Phoenix, just knowing that he’s the new #1 Contender, celebrates, energized through the victory.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
All seven competitors charge in at each other, where we see Peter Vaughn immediately charging in on Xavier Lux who slides out of the ring as Vaughn chases him outside the ring. In the ring we see Amber Mansley and Ragnarok go at it with each other as Johnny Stylez gets it on with Tristan Slater as Rocco Montuori watches on, smirking as he stands in the corner of the ring. On the outside we see Vaughn catching up with Lux after the latter one had tripped over a camera cable. Vaughn wraps the cable across his throat and starts to choke him with it before dragging him over towards the ring post and positions him against it before going for an Avalanche, only for Lux to side step as Vaughn comes crashing into the ring post. He staggers backwards as he grabs hold of his ribs that are still taped up from a prior assault as Lux grabs him by the head as he runs over towards the steel guard rail and jumps over it while driving Vaughn face first on top of the guard rail. This causes Vaughn to fall backwards as Lux jumps on the steel guard rail and jumps from it and crashes into Vaughn with a cross body block onto the concrete padded floor.
Meanwhile inside the ring we see Ragnarok getting the best of Amber Mansley, kneeing her in the midsection before setting her up for a Powerbomb, only to be thwarted by Rocco Mont, who Super Kicks Ragnarok in the face just before he was to set himself up to lift Amber Mansley in the air. Rocco then jumps over towards Ragnarok and starts to choke him as we turn our attention towards Slater and Stylez, who are trading blows before Slater pokes Stylez in the eyes and sets him up for a clothesline off the ropes before sliding out of the ring and reaches for a steel chair from underneath.
Derrick Diamond: I guess we would not have to wait long before the toys would come out of the woodshed huh??
Flash Rotten: What kind of woodshed do you run that has steel chairs inside it??!!!
Slater slides back inside the ring with the chair, only to have Stylez putting his boot on top of the chair as he has already gotten up. he then kicks at the hands of Slater who desperately tries to pull it underneath the foot of Stylez as that causes him to react in pain as he pulls them back. Stylez grabs the chair and swings it towards the face of Slater as that sends him to the outside before turning his attention towards the tandem of Rocco and Amber who are double teaming Ragnarok.
There he drives the chair across the back of Rocco, who drops to the canvas before causing Amber to ducks the swing and kicks Stylez in the midsection. She then sets him up for a DDT on top of the chair before going for the cover.

Ragnarok breaks up the cover with a double axhandle on the back of Amber, he then grabs hold of her long blonde hair as he throws her to the outside. He then turns his attention towards the other side of the ring as we see Lux and Slater start to double team on Vaughn as Slater has Vaughn caught in a Full Nelson while Lux start to deliver body shots to the injured ribs of Vaughn. He then walks to the other side of the ring before charging in on them for an offensive move, only for Vaughn to jump up and wrap his legs across the head and squeeze him tight with both legs around the head. He then executes a headbutt with the back of his head to the forehead of Slater before executing a Frankensteiner on Lux that sends Lux into Slater as that causes the fans to erupt in excitement for the former World Champion.
Derrick Diamond: That was a very inventive move from Vaughn!!!
Vaughn can be seen leaning against the ring apron, catching his breath as the pain is running through his body. Inside the ring we see Ragnarok, Rocco and Stylez inside the ring. Rocco looks at both men and realizes that he is outnumbered as he drops to his knees and starts to beg towards both men in the hope to get some sympathy from them. But he quickly realizes that his Montuori charm has no effect on either men as that causes him to slide out of the ring and shoots on them to have them that it is every man for themselves. Ragnarok and Stylez stare at each other and charge at each other, Ragnarok ducks a blow as he clotheslines Stylez over the top rope to the outside. There we see Amber, Rocco and Vaughn slide in the ring as all four competitors start to trade blows with each other as on the outside we see Slater and Lux double team Amber Mansley. Lux has grabbed a baseball bat covered with Barb Wire, while Slater has a steel chair as well. Causing Amber to back off, she trips over her feet as she sees Lux stand over her with his barb wired baseball bat in his hand, ready to swing it at her when Slater bashes his steel chair into his back as that drops Lux to the ground. Causing Amber to look up in amazement as Slater has already slid back inside the ring to attack any of the other four men inside the ring.
There we see Vaughn ducking a Rocco Clothesline, executes a Pele Kick to the head of Rocco that sends him into the ropes. There we see Vaughn run to the ropes and prepares himself for a 619 type move, only for Slater to bash the chair into the midsection of the former champion that drops him. The camera attention turns towards to Stylez and Ragnarok as Lux drives an elbow in the forehead of the larger Ragnarok after sidestepping a kick. He then executes a Swinging Neck Breaker on the steel chair that was on the canvas before going for the cover.

The three count got stopped by a steel chair being blasted across the back of Stylez by Slater, bending it due to the impact of the blow as the agony can be read from the face of Stylez as he gasps for air. Slater grabs him by the head and starts to drive series of punches to the face before letting go as he catches a charging Amber Mansley and sets her up in the air for a Powerbomb. Only for Amber to slither out of his grip and drops him with a massive DDT in the middle of the ring. The impact of the blow causes Slater to roll out of the ring as Rocco Montuori slides in and goes for the cover on Ragnarok.

Amber pulls Rocco off Ragnarok, causing the newest Montuori to get in her face as the two start to jaw yap against each other. Totally ignoring the revived Peter Vaughn and in a lesser degree Ragnarok, Johnny Stylez and Xavier Lux. Who stand around the two in a way that the two of Amber Mansley and Rocco Montuori look around and notices the danger that they are caught. Rocco quickly pushes Amber into Vaughn, before charging towards Stylez. We see Vaughn setting Ambrer up for a Snap Suplex while Ragnarok comes to the aid of Stylez as the two double team Rocco. We see Lux run out of the ring and dives with a suicide dive towards Slater, who catches Lux by the back of his head and sends him crashing into the barricades.
Flash Rotten: Bombs Away!!!!!
Slater looks up inside the ring and sees the five other wrestlers too busy to notice him, he then grabs a lead pipe from underneath the ring and waits patiently for what is going on inside the ring as we see Rocco reverse an Irish Whip from Stylez, sending him into the ropes as Slater blasts him across the back with he pipe as that drops Stylez to his knees before starting to choke Stylez with the pipe. Inside the ring we see Ragnarok set Montuori up for a German supllex, only for Rocco to back elbow him to the head before kicking him between the legs before driving him down to the canvas with his patented Diamond Cutter.

Trying to reach for the ropes, only to realize that in a match type like this that it is futile to go for a rope break. Vaughn senses victory as we see Stylez holding his hand just inches away from the canvas as just in time it is Lux that drives a running knee in the face of Vaughn as that stops him from putting the submission hold on Stylez. Now it is Lux that goes for the cover on Stylez as the official starts to use the three count on him.

MEMPHIS BELLE: The next match is scheduled for one fall, and is for the WGWF Intercontinental Title!
CJJ: This match should be a Main Event Match because J Mont is in it, but when you pair him with Devlin Knight, it drops it to Option B. That has really pissed off Mont here. He is a Main Event guy and now Devlin is forcing him to fight before the Main Event. Even more reasons for Mont to take out Devlin.
PATRICK MATHEWS: The World Title match with Enigma and Ragnarok is the Main Event like it should be.
CJJ: Ragnarok is lucky to be there and Enigma better watch out for the MONT! I'm still saying it here now. Mont should be in the Main Event, and Enigma should be walking out right now.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Thankfully you have no control over anything here.
CJJ: I can slap you in the face like Mont did to Centurion!
PATRICK MATHEWS: I'm not Centurion and please try it!
CJJ and Patrick are trading barbs back and forth. But while this is happening, the fans are on their feet in anticipation as they know one of the most talked about matches is about to happen. Love him or hate him, J Mont has the most memorable and decorated entrances in the industry. The fans hate him but love the arrivals until he gets hands on with the fans.
The pyros! The Fireworks! The Smoke Bombs! You may think that the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Celebration is the largest show in the world or maybe Dubai’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations, but right now, they need to take notes because this show is one of a kind. The phone cameras are going off. The kids are all smiling and cheering. But that will change in due time. Almost 5 minutes of a show here. The fans are definitely getting their money’s worth just from this entrance. But when the smoke slowly clears and the fireworks shut down along with the pyros, you see a spotlight hit the entrance way. Multi Color lasers are shooting around the arena, but the spotlight is centered as it awaits the arrival of one man.
CJJ: Now that is a champions entrance right there!
PATRICK MATHEWS: How does a NON WGWF roster member get the best entrance? This makes no sense.
CJJ: Did you not hear J Mont earlier? He does what he wants, when he wants.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Bullshit!
The Titantron lights up and then a TRON VIDEO goes off showing J Mont landing JKO’S left and right on roster members of the WGWF as well as other people from other promotions. The fans are BOOING! Then images appear on the Titantron One by One like a photo show.

“No Easy Way Out” By Robert Tepper hits the PA System. Out walks J Mont. He is alone tonight and the look on his face means all BUSINESS and VIOLENCE! As J Mont steps out on the entrance way, the spotlight is on him. J Mont turns around and points to the Titantron Board as the Images keep cycling through.
CJJ: This one is over with Patrick. Do you see the look on J Mont’s face? Do you see how lasered in he is tonight? They have poked the bear once too many times. This is going to be great!
PATRICK MATHEWS: J Mont did this to himself and has no one to blame but himself. It’s going to be great to watch his career go up in flames tonight!
J Mont slowly walks down the ramp but you can tell he is ready for war and has his eye on the prize. This match is more than just the IC title. It’s about taking out Devlin Knight and getting revenge for what the WGWF has done to his brother and bestie. This match is PERSONAL which is never a good thing. You can tell J Mont, as he walks, is listening to the voices in his head. Trying to ignore the fans and stay in the zone, but one fan had to push him to his limits. Some guy who looks like Mac Bane on crack, wearing a Lexi Gold shirt and holding up a sign that says……
BENSON IS A SLUT!
J Mont grabs the guy and rips him over the railing. J Mont picks up the sign and rips it up into pieces. The fan is trying to get to his feet and when he does, J Mont rips the Lexi Gold shirt off of him to reveal he is out of shape with man boobs and sporadic chest hair. J Mont has ruined this guy's life.
CJJ: Is that a Chia Pet or a WGWF Fan?
PATRICK MATHEWS: Thank god he is no longer in the WGWF. Smart move not to resign this man!
J Mont begins to walk away, but the rage is roaring. He takes a few steps back and JKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fan is down and out. I am sure a lawsuit is coming for this. The fans are booing LOUDER than ever. Mont is truly feeding off this negative energy. He is just getting warmed up here, but then notices a kid wearing a John Cable mask. Mont walks over and rips the mask off the poor kid's face. Then walks over to the deflated fan on the ground and drops the mask on his chest.
J MONT: Case Solved! John Cable did this! Mia and Gia- Love you both! Clyde, miss you brother. Rocco, glad you are back. And Bestie Sonya, I am doing this for you. I will not let your legacy die or anyone do anything to tarnish it! Devlin, you are DEAD BITCH!
CJJ: If i was Devlin, i wouldn't even come out here. A 10 count is the best thing for his future.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Devlin is a warrior and would never do that to the fans!
J Mont pushes past security and officials as he starts his path back towards the ring. As he gets closer, he sees the metal steps and begins to stomp his foot on the first one. The fans don't give a shit. They hate this man. J Mont walks up the steps and climbs through the middle rope. As he paces around the ring, he is remembering why he is here and the job that he has to get done. The mission is set. The plan is set. Now it's time to execute. J Mont climbs up the turnbuckle and poses for the fans to BOO him even more before he gets the last word in with 2 middle fingers for everyone here tonight.
CJJ: I know what they stand for. 1 is for winning the IC title and the other is for the WGWF!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Let’s get this over with so Mont can leave and never come back!
The camera cuts back to Memphis Belle, still standing in the ring.
MEMPHIS BELLE: His opponent…
The strum of a solo guitar begins to play as Coheed and Cambria’s “Welcome home” slams into the speakers. The crowd are on their feet as Devlin Knight steps out onto the ramp and looks around in awe.
A grin spreads across his face as he makes his way down the aisle slapping hands with and fist bumping some of the fans, ruffling the hair of some of the younger ones before reaching the ring.
MEMPHIS BELLE: Standing 6’0” and weighing 240 lbs, from Sedona, Arizona, he is the WGWF Intercontinental Champion, DEVLIN KNIGHT!!!
Devlin climbs the steel steps, wiping his feet on the apron before climbing in between ropes as the song is slowly coming to an end and the crowd are singing the “woooaah ooohh oooh” part at the end, as Devlin hops up onto the turnbuckle and raises his arms, hopping down and waiting for the bell.
Derrick Diamond: Since this one’s for the Brawl’s IC Title, it’ll be called by our team, no matter what CJJ over there thinks.
Flash Rotten: Yep, home field advantage for Brawl!
Ding! Ding! Ding!
J Mont and Devlin Knight stand face to face with each other, the championship belt is being lifted up in the air by the official as Joe Montuori demands the official to show him the title before grabbing it out of the official’s hands and is about to wrap it around his waist in order to torment Devlin knight. But that is the green light for Devlin to charge in on J Mont and drives a forearm blast across the face as that causes J Mont to drop the title as the official picks it up and hands it over to the ring announcer. Devlin pushes J Mont into the ropes for an Irish Whip, only for J Mont to reverse it straight into a knee in the midsection of Devlin before setting the champion up for a JKO as Devlin manages to escape the finishing move.
Derrick Diamond: J Mont just gave Devlin a warning that he can hit that move at any given moment of this match!!!
Flash Rotten: I don’t care who wins this match, just as long it is NOT J Mont!!!!
Devlin nods his head, slaps his hands across the chest while circling the challenger. The two men lock arms before J Mont wraps the smaller Devlin Knight in a standing side headlock before reversing it in a Hammerlock as he blasts Devlin across the back of his head with his free hand before pushing him into the turnbuckles and mocks him by posing in the middle of the ring with his back turned to Devlin.
Derrick Diamond: J Mont has always been a cocky bastard, but for me this is pushing it a bit too far.
We see Devlin charge in on J Mont, driving his knee in the lower back region as he jumps upwards. This causes J Mont to be sent through the middle and top rope to the outside as Devlin follows him to the outside, jumping off the ring apron with a Double Axhandle that drops J Mont back to the concrete padded floor after slowly rising upwards. Devlin grabs J Mont and lifts him up for a Back Breaker across the knee before sliding J Mont back into the ring as he follows him in the ring as well. There we see Devlin going for the cover, only to have J Mont roll out of the ring on a different side of the ring in an attempt to escape Devlin. Devlin steps through the ropes on the other side, only for J Mont to trip him as Devlin falls to the outside where J Mont starts to kick him in the chest as the official starts to use the ten count on the two men for a count out.

J Mont grabs Devlin by the hair as he tosses him against the steel security railing before kicking him in the midsection as he bashes him face first upon the Spanish Announce table.

J Mont blasts Devlin’s face a few more times into the Spanish announce table before quickly sliding in and out of the ring to break the ten count from the official. He soaks in the boos from the crowds before grabbing hold of Devlin’s arm and sends him into the ring apron before clotheslining him as that causes Devlin to drop to his knees as J Mont drives his knuckles into his forehead while listening to the warnings from the official before he starts to use a five count.

J Mont backs off, smirking as he lifts his arms in the air while ignoring the threats from the official as he goes for a running knee in the face of Devlin Knight before grabbing hold of him and rolls Devlin back into the ring before following him back in. There we see J Mont go for the cover on Devlin without hooking the leg.

Devlin manages to kick out at the arrogant cover from J Mont, who grabs him by the head and lifts him up in the air before setting him up for a Slam., only for Devlin to escape his grip and lands behind J Mont as he delivers a Backstabber that causes J Mont to land awkwardly on the canvas. We see Devlin get to his feet and drops a leg across the throat of J Mont before going for the cover.

J Mont gets her shoulder off the canvas to be break the three count, causing Devlin to wrap his hands across the head in a reverse chin lock. We see the official check in on J Mont, but the former world champion pushes him aside before slowly getting to his feet. He drives his elbows in the midsection of Devlin to break the chin lock before whipping him into the ropes before going for a Back Body Drop that Devlin manages to block by stopping in front of J Mont and sets him up for a Swinging Neck Breaker. Devlin then gets up to his feet and grabs J Mont by the ankle and sets him up for a standing Ankle Lock, only for J Mont to quickly reach for the ropes as that forces the official to demand Devlin to release the hold that he has on him. Devlin instead yanks hard on the leg, forcing J Mont to relinquish the ropes and fall on his back in the middle of the ring. Thereafter Devlin finally lets go off his ankle, drops down on top of J Mont as he starts to deliver heavy blows to the head with closed fists.
Flash Rotten: Here we go!!!
Derrick Diamond: We know Devlin as being a calm and collective wrestler, but after all that he has endured the last few months has gotten to him!!!
The official starts to warn Devlin from stopping to use closed fists upon J Mont before starting to use the five count.

The official finally grabs hold of Devlin Knight in an attempt to pull him off of J Mont as the Intercontinental champion has clearly lost his mind. Devlin spins around, almost knocking out the official before finally coming to the realization that what is going on as he starts to explain to the official before dropping to his knees as J Mont hit him with a low blow from behind as the official had not been able to see what happened.
Derrick Diamond: Damnit!! Don’t let it end that way!!!
Flash Rotten: I hate the guy, but you cannot turn your back to someone as dangerous as J Mont!!!
J Mont kicks Devlin in the face before going for the cover as he hooks both legs from the champion.

Derrick Diamond: HE KICKED OUT!!!!
J Mont looks at the official for a split second before turning his attention back to Devlin Knight as he starts to punch him with closed fists before stopping at the count of four, he then gets to his feet and starts to kick the champion before stopping as he starts to intimidate the official who backs off from him. He then turns his attention back to Devlin Knight, who is crawling over towards the bottom rope as he tries to pull himself up to his feet. There we see J Mont kick him in the back before sliding out of the ring and grabs hold of Devlin’s head as he places Devlin’s head across the bottom rope to choke him out as the official uses the five count on him in an attempt to break the illegal choke hold.

J Mont lets go before the five count could be administered, he then punches Devlin in the face before sliding back in the ring as he grabs Devlin by the head and lifts him up. Tormenting everyone at ringside before setting him up for his patented JKO, only to have Devlin Knight somehow manages to push him off of him as that sends Devlin in the ropes. J Mont comes off the ropes for a running clothesline, but Devlin manages to duck it and then runs the ropes before executing a Cross Body Block that staggers both men into the ropes as they fall simultaneously to the outside as Devlin falls on top of J Mont. There we see Devlin get up and start to lay the boots to J Mont before grabbing him by the arm and whips him into the steel steps. There he follows it up with walking away from him before charging in on him with a running knee against the head that was resting to the steel steps. Only for J Mont to lift his leg up as that stops Devlin from hitting the move as J Mont gets up to his feet and blasts Devlin’s face into the steel steps. He slides in and out of the ring to break the ten count from the official as he grabs hold of Devlin and whips him into the steel ring post as that connects and forces Devlin Knight to drop to his knees as we see Devlin Knight’s face pain across the face.
Derrick Diamond: Every time that Devlin tries to mount any offense it is J Mont that finds a way to reverse it.
Flash Rotten: J Mont is inside the head of Devlin Knight!!!
J Mont starts to push the side of Devlin’s face against the steel ring post, talking smack to the man before bouncing his head against the steel ring post before breaking the ten count as he rolls in and out of the ring. J Mont then pulls the padding off the concrete floor as he sets Devlin up for a JKO on the revealed concrete floor as the fans get on his case.
Derrick Diamond: For the love of God!! Don’t do it!!!!
Flash Rotten: J Mont has a history of not listening to authority!! Why would he listen to you???!!!
J Mont can be seen telling the crowd that he is going to drop Devlin, only for Devlin to have a surge of energy as he grabs hold of the waist of the challenger and drives his spine into the ring apron before driving series of shoulders into the midsection. He then grabs hold of J Mont’s head as he sends him over the Spanish announce table before rolling into the ring to grab a breather as the official starts to use the ten count on the challenger.
Derrick Diamond: An important opportunity for Devlin Knight to catch his breath!!!
We see the official start to count on J Mont while Devlin is sitting in a corner as he touches his face, to check if he isn’t bleeding before starting to pull himself up to his feet in an attempt to get to the outside when suddenly….
Derrick Diamond; OH DAMNIT!! Not Rocco!!!
We see Rocco Montuori running to the ring and trips Devlin from behind before sliding inside the ring as he sets Devlin up for a DDT behind the back of the official. He hits the move before sliding out of the ring as he waits for J Mont to get back in the ring as he does just before the count of nine. The official signals for the match to continue when he notices that Devlin is flattened, looking around the ring but does not see Rocco who had hidden himself at ringside.
Derrick Diamond: Damnit!! Don’t let J Mont win the Intercontinental title this way!!!!
J Mont crawls over towards Devlin Knight and drops his arm across the chest of the seemingly unconscious Devlin Knight as the official starts to use the three count on him.

2!!!
Thre….
Derrick Diamond: NO!!! He kicked out!!!!
On the outside we see Rocco who had jumped in the air as he expected a victory, only to have his reaction turn into a complete shocker. J Mont slowly gets up to his hands and knees, noticing his nephew as he nods his head towards him as Rocco immediately starts to distract the official as J Mont grabs something from inside his tights and puts it on his hand.
Flash Rotten: Brass knuckles!!!!
J Mont prepares himself to execute a swing at Devlin after he has gotten back to his feet, the champ turns around with a busted open face and completely wobbling on his feet. J Mont swings, only for Devlin to somehow duck it and goes for a backslide on the challenger as there is no three count.
Derrick Diamond:
HEY REF!! Behind you!!!
d
We suddenly see someone run to the ringside area, grabs hold of Rocco’s legs as that causes him to fall down to the ground before getting spun around and clobbered by a straight right hand. The crowd cheers for the unknown who gotten to the ring to help out Devlin Knight as the official looks on before turning around and notices the pin attempt.

2!!!
Thre….
But J Mont manages to get his shoulder off the canvas just at the final moment, causing Devlin to look up at him with a questionable look on his face but gets only a two count as response. Devlin shakes his head as he turns his attention towards J Mont as the official gets distracted as we see the stranger whip Rocco into the steel ring post before taking off the hoodie that he is wearing.
Flash Rotten: Max Stone!!!!!
The crowd erupts as Max grabs hold of Rocco and starts to lay some heavy punches to the face of J Mont as this causes the official to try and separate the two men. Inside the ring we see J Mont block a super kick before dropping Devlin with the brass knuckles on his hand that drops Devlin Knight.
Derrick Diamond: NO!!!!!!
J Mont pulls Devlin up to his feet before shouting at the official, who turns around and watches J Mont to drop Devlin with the JKO before going for the cover.
1!!!
Derrick Diamond: Kick out!!!

Flash Rotten: KICK OUT!!!

The bell rings as J Mont’s music hits, causing Max Stone to turn around and stare at Joe Montuori being handed the championship. He quickly runs into the ring to aid Devlin Knight as Joe Montuori quickly slides out of the ring and gets towards his nephew while taunting the fans by being the newly crowned Intercontinental Champion.
Derrick Diamond: Damnit!! He stole that win!!!!
MEMPHIS BELLE: The next match is our main event of the evening. It will be for the WGWF Smash Heavyweight Championship!!
The crowd gives a roar, still finding more energy in spite of the long night of contests tonight. They’re more excited than ever.
MEMPHIS BELLE: Introducing first, the challenger…
The arena goes completely dark. We can see flashlights on phone glowing all around the arena, providing its own form of light, as “Bodies” by Drowning Pool begins to play. Fireballs begin to erupt all along the stage, flying high into the air before dissipating, earning cheers for every one of them. As the fireballs finish, we see a set of spotlights come on all around the stage, as a man begins to rise upwards through the smoke and glare, coming from underneath the stage.
MEMPHIS BELLE: Standing 6’4” and weighing 276 lbs, from Baltimore, Maryland, here is the #1 Contender… RAGNAROK!!!
As Ragnarok finishes rising up, there’s another line of fiery explosions all around, obscuring him for a moment as the fans nearby pull back from the heat. The fireworks completed, Ragnarok raises a hand, pointing forward, as the lights come back on in the arena. He stands at the top of the ramp, staring around at the support he seems to have from the crowd, before making his way down towards the ring.
PATRICK MATHEWS: It feels like the fans here are ravenous for Ragnarok, CJJ!
CJJ: Ugh, terrible attempt of alliteration there, Patrick.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Well, I do what I can. I know many don’t see Ragnarok having a chance tonight against the dominant Smash Champion. But Ragnarok’s still coming in confident that he can dethrone the Monster Machine.
CJJ: You can’t come into a match thinking you have no way of winning, because that prophecy will self-fulfill itself. And Enigma’s not unstoppable… now that he’s left The Fortunate Ones…
MEMPHIS BELLE: And now, his opponent…
The lights begin to dim.
MEMPHIS BELLE: Standing 6’5” and weighing 275 lbs, from The Boiler Room, he is the undisputed WGWF Smash Heavyweight Champion… “THE MONSTER MACHINE” ENIGMA!!!
"Luna est dominae, volkodlak malorum
Artes et perditae, lycan incarnatus
Luna est dominae, volkodlak malorum
Artes et perditae, lycan incarnatus"
A dense fog rolls out along the entrance ramp, the haunting whispered chant growing in volume along with the pulsing tempo of the music. A hulking hooded figure appears from the gloom, slowly and methodically stalking towards the ring. His leather doomsday cloak is open over his massive chest, each step bringing him further into the light until "The Monster Machine" is revealed in full, complete with a ball python writhing around his neck. The dark and Gothic chanting continues, music swelling in volume as each pulse in the tempo and each measured step of the monster are in sync.
"Rota, vita, mara, vena
Mare, dracul, morte, vita
Rota, vita, mara, vena
Mare, dracul, morte, vita"
ENIGMA ascends the ring steps and subtly wipes his feet on the apron before stepping between the ropes. He immediately scales the turnbuckles, turning towards the crowd as he lets the hood fall, revealing his war paint and colorless eyes. Throwing his head back, he sprays a bloody mist into the air before letting out a snarl. When his head lowers, blood drips from his chin and down his heaving chest.
PATRICK MATHEWS: The champion looks ready to tear Ragnarok apart!
CJJ: I tell you, you couldn’t pay me enough to put me in the ring with that man.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Please, you’d do it for less than 6 figures.
CJJ: I would not!! … Now, if we’re talking about 500 grand… maybe…
PATRICK MATHEWS: Suffice to say, Enigma has been an absolute beast since he won the Smash Championship from Chris Page, and has continued to represent the Smash brand the world over.
CJJ: But tonight could finally be the end of that run, Patrick. We will soon find out if it’s indeed the end for Enigma…
PATRICK MATHEWS: You mean his own personal ragnarok?
CJJ: Oh, for heaven’s sake…
The bell rings, as the two men step towards each other. The referee holds the Smash Championship high in the air, before taking it over to the edge of the ring to hand it off. Enigma steps forward, right into Ragnarok’s face, the two standing nose-to-nose as they glare at each other. Ragnarok then shoves Enigma back, taking him backwards a step. Enigma shakes his head for a moment, before stepping back up into Ragnarok’s face, shoving HIM backwards! Ragnarok recovers, coming right back to lock eyes with the champion. The two men seem to nod at each other, as if coming to a mutual agreement… before they both start slugging away at each other, lashing out with heavy strikes against their foe! The crowd pops as the haymakers keep flying, with both men trying to knock out the other!
PATRICK MATHEWS: I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that this one is going to be hard-hitting!
CJJ: Both Enigma and Ragnarok have made a career of overpowering their opponents, but in this one, it’s clear that for at least one of them, they’re going to have to adapt a different style. But which one?
Ragnarok swings another massive shot, but this time, Enigma manages to block it with one arm, before firing in his own hit right to Ragnarok’s jaw! Ragnarok, staggered, takes a step back, and Enigma presses his advantage, stepping forward into a European uppercut that rocks Ragnarok back into the ropes. Enigma then comes forward hard, smashing into Ragnarok with a shoulder strike that sends Ragnarok through the ropes, rolling through to land basically on his feet on the outside!! Ragnarok takes a few steps, holding his shoulder, as he looks up at Enigma, who just signals for him to come back in. Instead, Ragnarok reaches out, grabbing a surprised Enigma by the ankles, and yanks HIM out instead!! Enigma gets his feet under him, as Ragnarok lands a forearm shot to his head, stunning him.
Ragnarok then grabs Enigma by the arm, wanting to whip him right into the barricade. But Enigma blocks it, using all his strength. He pulls Ragnarok in the opposite direction, towards the ring apron. But Ragnarok gets a boot up on the edge of the ring, stopping the impact, and then leaps backwards, propelling himself into a back elbow shot right into Enigma’s chest!! Enigma stumbles back against the railing, holding an arm across him, He tries to straighten up, but Ragnarok’s already on the attack, spinning into a Cyclone Kick that knocks Enigma over the railing and into the crowd!!
PATRICK MATHEWS: C’mon, guys! This isn’t a hardcore match!
CJJ: I don’t think either one of them care at this point, Patrick. They just want to fight!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Ragnarok SHOULD care! The champ’s advantage is in effect, so on a countout or disqualification, Enigma keeps the gold!
CJJ: Yeah, but I’m sure this ref is going to be ultra-lenient, since this is the main event. I mean, I don’t even think he’s started counting on them yet, has he?
In fact, the referee is currently leaning over the ropes, yelling at both men to get back in, but he hasn’t even thrown up a one count yet. He knows that Barrows would probably fire him if he did a double countout in the main event of Night 1. Outside, Ragnarok has come over the railing as well, punching away at Enigma. He goes to maneuver Enigma around, positioning him for a powerbomb onto the railing! The crowd is pumped as Ragnarok sets Enigma up, working to lift him… but Enigma blocks it! Ragnarok tries a second time, but this one goes even worse, as Enigma lifts up Ragnarok instead, tossing him overhead and sending him over the railing to the outside mats!
With Ragnarok down, Enigma finally comes back over the railing himself, pushing aside one fan who was trying to get a video of him. He grabs hold of a hurting Ragnarok, pulling him up, then immediately locking onto him. The champ lifts, showing his strength, as he takes Ragnarok over with a belly-to-back suplex on the floor!! Ragnarok rolls in pain, clutching at the back of his head from where he landed, as Enigma pulls himself up. The referee, shouting down at Enigma, finally starts a count, getting his attention. Enigma turns, grabbing hold of Ragnarok and pulling him up. He then drags Ragnarok to the ring, rolling him under the ropes, before following behind him. He gets up, glaring down at the hurting wrestler, as the crowd waits to see what comes next.
CJJ: You know, it would have been easy for Enigma just to leave Ragnarok out there to get counted out.
PATRICK MATHEWS: That’s not how Enigma would ever want to win, CJJ.
CJJ: Yeah, probably not. Plus, the referee barely reached one. To expect a 10 count after that is like expecting the Dallas Cowboys to win the Super Bowl again.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Ouch.
CJJ: I call it like I see it, Patrick.
Ragnarok is trying to get up, but every time he gets to his hands and knees, Enigma takes him back down with a foot stomp to the back. After Ragnarok starts to rise for a third time, Enigma seems to get angry, landing 5 consecutive stomps to Ragnarok’s back, doing more damage. He backs away, waiting to see what the challenger will do. Ragnarok, showing heart, starts to drag himself up again, pulling himself upwards. Enigma shakes his head, and then pushes off the ropes, going for a running lariat! He leaps into Ragnarok… who ducks under the swinging arm, catching Enigma from behind and twisting him into the Spin of Doom!!! The crowd roars, as Ragnarok puts an arm across Enigma, trying to take advantage of the surprise hit.

2…
But Enigma kicks out right after the 2 count, keeping this one going. He sits up, trying to clear his head, as he pushes off the mat to get up. But Ragnarok is rising at the same time, turning and catching Enigma on the way up with a roundhouse kick!! Enigma doesn’t go down, instead staggering back into the corner and holding onto the ropes. Ragnarok doesn’t hesitate, rushing forward and leaping into a corner splash, crashing hard into the champion! He then drags Enigma out, lifting him up and getting a fallaway slam, launching Enigma overhead and nearly hitting the referee, who barely dives aside in time. Enigma rolls, ending up near the opposite corner, as Ragnarok pulls himself up and gives a fiery yell towards the crowd, feeling the momentum on his side.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Ragnarok is taking it to the Smash Champion!
CJJ: He needs to stop yelling and posing, though, and just keep punching the man! Punch him until your knuckles bleed, and even after that, keep hitting him! It’s the only way to win!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Or he could just land the Bone Crusher…
CJJ: It might take a double combination of those as well. Or maybe Triple. But just keep on the attack!
Ragnarok seems to have the same opinion, as he’s not waiting for Enigma to recover. He runs in as soon as Enigma rises, hitting him with a running forearm smash that knocks the champ back down! Ragnarok then turns to the nearby ropes, opting to take a step out onto the apron. He waits, his arms clutching the ropes, as Enigma rolls painfully over onto his back. Ragnarok then springs himself over the ropes, going for a frog splash! But Enigma gets the knees up, ensuring a less-than-desirable landing for Ragnarok!! He tumbles away in agony, feeling like all of his insides have just been rearranged from that impact! Both wrestlers are down, as the referee steps forward to check on them. He sticks to the same pattern, as he’s not counting out either wrestler yet.
Ragnarok fights to get up, clinging at the ropes, as Enigma is getting himself up on the other side. Ragnarok staggers towards him, reaching out towards the champ, but Enigma spins into a discus elbow, knocking Ragnarok off-balance! Enigma then kicks Ragnarok in the gut, before locking up his arm and lifting Ragnarok into the air, delivering Hellbound (Pumphandle Slam)!!! Ragnarok’s crushed underneath from the impact, as Enigma gets all of his weight on the man, trying to keep him down for the three count.
1…
2…
But Ragnarok is able to shoot an arm up, keeping this one going, as Enigma sits up on his knees, annoyed.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Ragnarok is determined not to let this opportunity slip away from him! Who knows when a match like this will come his way again?
CJJ: Some guys get lots of opportunities to seize the top prizes, and some never make it back after one shot. Ragnarok has to know this could be his one and only, and that’s going to make it hard to keep him down. Unless Enigma hits him with a sledgehammer.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Again, this isn’t a hardcore match.
CJJ: So? That’s more o a handicap to Ragnarok, not the champion.
Enigma is dragging up Ragnarok now, telling him that it’s time for this futile claim to end. He lifts Ragnarok upwards, getting him into position for Damnation!! But Ragnarok fights hard, managing to get free, as he comes down behind Enigma. The champ spins around, throwing a back fist punch, but Ragnarok dodges that as well, then grabs Enigma by the throat, looking to lift him into the air for a two-handed chokeslam!! He gets Enigma up… and Enigma fights free, smashing down on Ragnarok’s arms with a powerful strike. As they tumble downwards, Enigma drags Ragnarok with him, locking him into… Fade To Black (crossface choke)!!! Ragnarok’s legs start kicking frantically as he tries to pull free, even as Enigma twists it around, getting the hold locked in tight!!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Fade To Black!! Ragnarok might have no choice but to tap out!!
CJJ: I mean, he might have other choices… is passing out a choice?
PATRICK MATHEWS: It may come down to that, as Ragnarok has too much riding on this one to submit now!
The referee gets in close, checking on Ragnarok, seeing if he’s going to tap out or not. Ragnarok is struggling mightily, trying to get free, but his efforts are slowly getting less energetic. Enigma keeps the hold tight, trying to knock Ragnarok out and end this one altogether. With Ragnarok looking like he’s fading fast, the referee leans in, checking on Ragnarok’s arm. He lifts it once, and it falls. He lifts it a second time, and it… stays up, with Ragnarok still fighting! The crowd cheers, wanting to see this one continue, as Ragnarok starts clawing his way backwards, his feet sticking out behind him, as Enigma tries to put the brakes on, having expected him to try the opposite way. But it’s too late, as one of Ragnarok’s boots connects with the bottom rope, causing the referee to call for the break! He orders Enigma off of the challenger, with Enigma reluctantly breaking the hold, sitting upwards.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Ragnarok finds a way to keep going!
CJJ: See, I’d know I’m already getting paid, so I would have tapped out immediately. A lot less pain that way.
PATRICK MATHEWS: Fortunately, nobody in the WGWF is just like you, CJJ.
CJJ: Nope, I’m one of a kind!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Thank goodness…
AS the referee circles around to a safer vantage point, Enigma pulls himself up. He doesn’t look too pleased with Ragnarok’s refusal to submit, as he steps over him, hammering down onto Ragnarok’s back to do more damage. The champion then grabs at Ragnarok’s arm, hauling him up, before sending him hard back down with an exploder suplex! Ragnarok is flat on the mat, stunned, as Enigma shoves him into position and makes the cover on him, grabbing hold of one leg for emphasis as the ref makes the count.
1….
2…
THR-NO!! Ragnarok gets his shoulder off the mat! Enigma looks incensed that the referee didn’t finish the count. He steps away, arguing with him for a moment, but the ref is adamant that Ragnarok made it up in time. Enigma then turns back, waiting, as Ragnarok tries to desperately get himself upright. Seeing the challenger still rising, Enigma angrily comes over, grabbing him by the arm and whipping him towards the ropes. He then goes for The Culling (Big Boot)... but Ragnarok stops just in time, knocking down Enigma’s leg with an elbow, before stepping into range and lifting the stunned champ into the air, landing a sitout chokeslam!!! Ragnarok slumps forward afterwards, making a very exhausted cover, but the referee still recognizes it, making the count…
1…
2…
THR-NO!! Enigma kicks out!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Ragnarok very nearly took it with that one, out of nowhere!
CJJ: Geez! I thought that might have been it!
PATRICK MATHEWS: Nobody’s found the solution to keeping Enigma down yet, but maybe Ragnarok’s beginning to work out the formula. But what does he have left?
Ragnarok struggles to his feet, pulling on whatever adrenaline he has left. He points at Enigma, signaling that it’s time for the Bone Crusher!! Enigma pushes himself up, trying to clear his head, as Ragnarok comes in, kicking him in the stomach. Ragnarok then locks Enigma up, lifting him into the air, and nailing the first powerbomb!! The crowd is roaring as Ragnarok works to get Enigma up a second time… he gets him in the air… and Enigma fights free, landing behind him!! Ragnarok, stunned, turns and tries to swing, but Enigma grabs him by the throat, letting out a wild roar as he puts everything into bringing Ragnarok into the air, landing Questions & Answers!!! The chokebomb lands, but almost with too much force, as Enigma released him higher than he normally does. Due to this, Ragnarok is sent rolling to the side, as Enigma tries to grab him… but Ragnarok ends up outside the ring!!
PATRICK MATHEWS: No!!! This one was over!!
CJJ: We’ll never know if Ragnarok would have kicked out, because he didn’t have to! Was it ring awareness, or just plain dumb luck??
Enigma is leaning on the ropes, furious, as Ragnarok is still down outside the ring. The referee starts a count, although his heart isn’t fully in it, and neither is Enigma’s. The champ steps through the ropes and drops down next to Ragnarok, grabbing the weary warrior and getting him rolled back into the ring. Enigma then follows, opting to get on top of Ragnarok for the cover as soon as they’re back in…

THRE-NO!!! Ragnarok kicks out at the last second! Enigma doesn’t look too surprised, knowing that there was too long a delay. He gets up, bracing himself, before grabbing at Ragnarok’s hair, hauling him up. He says something to Ragnarok, before lifting the man into position for the Face Eraser!! He lifts up, but Ragnarok slashes at Enigma’s face, blinding him. Ragnarok then grabs his head on the way down, twisting him around into a massive rolling cutter!!! The crowd goes ballistic as Ragnarok falls on top, clutching at one of Enigma’s legs…

THRE-NO!!!
PATRICK MATHEWS: So close!!
CJJ: Ragnarok pulled that move out of the void, and it nearly worked!!
PATRICK MATHEWS: He’s got to end it now, if he wants that championship!
The crowd is biting on everything at this point, as Ragnarok drags himself up. He staggers over to Enigma, but Enigma knocks him back with a right hand! Ragnarok responds with his own shot, and the two exhausted gladiators strike away at each other! Ragnarok finally manages a double-handed shot that sends Enigma into the ropes. The champ comes back, with Ragnarok again trying for the Bone Crusher, locking Enigma up, no, Enigma reverses, getting Ragnarok up for the Face Eraser!! No, Ragnarok escapes again! He drops down, grabbing Enigma from behind and trying for a spinning suplex, but Enigma fights free in mid-air, landing on his feet as he lifts a struggling Ragnarok up… and lands DAMNATION!!!! The crowd roars as Enigma falls into the cover…

PATRICK MATHEWS: Enigma does it! He retains the championship again!!
CJJ: What a war! I really thought Ragnarok was going to pull it off!
PATRICK MATHEWS: He put up a hell of a fight, but once again, Enigma proves that he’s one of the most dominant wrestlers in WGWF history. Who can ever manage to stop this man??
CJJ: I’m starting to wonder if that wrestler even exists…
PATRICK MATHEWS: It’s been a hell of a night… and we have one more to go!
CJJ: I’m going to need to cut back on the drinking tonight so that I can work one more night… but after that, the gloves are off!
PATRICK MATHEWS: We’ll see you tomorrow night!
Enigma stands on the turnbuckle pads, raising the Smash Heavyweight Title overhead as the crowd chants for him. The picture slowly fades out.
