In the elegant, dimly lit ambiance of a high-class New York City restaurant, the atmosphere is one of quiet sophistication. In a secluded corner, Shaun Hart sits alone, his expression taut with frustration. Dressed sharply, he speaks into his phone with a tense, clipped tone, repeatedly trying to get through to Joe Montuori. The door swings open, and Romeo strolls in, dressed in a grey hoodie that starkly contrasts with the refined decor around him. He munches on a bag of Cool Ranch chips as he walks, unbothered by the disapproving glances from the staff and patrons. His relaxed, almost rebellious demeanor adds a ripple of unease to the otherwise composed setting. Romeo approaches the back corner where Shaun is seated, watching the man struggle with his phone call as he makes his way through the maze of tables. Shaun’s voice rises slightly in irritation as he fails to reach Joe yet again. By the time Romeo reaches the table and takes his seat across from Shaun, the frustration has boiled over.
Shaun Hart: Come on, Joe!
Shaun slams the phone down on the table with a thud that cuts through the quiet murmur of the restaurant, the action drawing a few startled looks from nearby diners. Romeo, however, remains completely unfazed. He settles into his seat, continuing to munch on his chips without a care, his expression one of casual indifference. He meets Shaun’s gaze with a calm, almost amused look, his presence a stark, nonchalant counterpoint to Shaun's visible annoyance.
Romeo: Still not answering huh?
Romeo smirks as he takes another bite out of his chips, while Shaun Hart looks at him visibly more annoyed.
Shaun Hart: No! He hasn’t , and he has a good reason why. He was robbed at Summer Madness, hell just about the whole TFO got robbed at Summer Madness and I’ve been left to try and make things right , while you’ve been running around after Emily!
Romeo chuckles a little as he looks at Shaun and then takes another bite of a chip as he shakes his head.
Romeo: You keep stressing yourself like that Shaun and you’ll be needing some of that fancy Hollywood plastic surgery but really though there’s nothing I can do, I tried to get in touch with him but he’s off reflecting I guess. Only thing we can do is continue to do our part. Also I’m not running behind Emily, she’s just a friend.
Shaun smirks and even gives a condescending laugh.
Shaun Hart: A friend? Oh please, Romeo. I’ve seen this puppy dog shit before and it’s not going to end well, you two are so different and I mean that physically and at a professional level.
Romeo just rolls his eyes and eats his chips.
Shaun Hart: I'm serious! Your potential is much greater than hers. She's a dreamer, while you are a realist. And it's getting very close for you to start displaying that potential because Joe might can't say it right now but he needs you to step up. So figure out if you want Emily or not, and also deal with this Ricky Sanchez bull shit, we've got enough problems to be dealing with already without adding him to the mix.
Romeo eats the last chip out of his bag and tosses on a tray as a waiter walks by.
Romeo: Alright so how do you need to step up?
Shaun sits up straight with a serious facial expression.
Shaun Hart: Well the TFO can use some more gold, so we need to start focusing on that, which means you've got to start getting some wins under your belt. You had a good showing against Enigma but it didn't result in a win, and right now winning is all that matters especially after the misfortune we suffered at Summer Madness.
Romeo nods his head in understanding as Shaun continues his spill.
Shaun Hart: But steps are already being taken to correct that with Amber getting her rematch in the Main Event on Smash, we've got Clyde in the Cannabis Cup, and despite the results, he's in possession of The Intercontinental Championship, while Heather Harland is holding the TV Championship, and Chris Page is going to put an end to that blind squirrel that found a nut at Summer Madness John who gives a fuck Cable.
Shaun pauses for a moment and points to Romeo.
Shaun Hart: And you will make the pirate walk the plank! You will make Jetta Tall Tide pay for getting into TFO business. She is the reason the beautiful princess Amber isn't still the X- Division Champion. You are not only going to beat her Romeo but you are going to dominate her, you are going to punish her severely. I'm talking about no mercy Romeo, we want her to wish she was back on the high seas living her stupid pirate life instead of in a WGWF ring. It's not just about winning anymore, it's about sending a message, and making a statement!
Shaun looks overly excited and furious at the same time, clearly showing his emotional reaction to the events that unfolded at Summer Madness and now with Joe missing in action, Shaun was looking to make things right and Romeo understood that as he sat there nodding his head as he looked at Shaun.
Romeo: So its time for the Empire to strike back? It's time to avenge are fallen huh Shaun?
Romeo smirks as he leans back in his seat and grabs a glass of water of a tray as a waiter walks by and takes a sip.
Romeo: I understand that every match and very moment for TFO matters and even those like me that are associated with the group. So yeah I get it Shaun right now you are under pressure to keep things afloat while Joe is off dealing with his own demons and now that pressure is going to trickle down the ladder to everyone else, so stepping our game up is a must.
Romeo pauses as he traces his fingers around the edges of his glass.
Romeo: Joe took me off the streets at sixteen and gave me four years of the best training and anything else I required, so I'll always show my gratefulness for what he did, so if beating Jetta and making her feel pain is what will help I will do that because without Joe I wouldn't be sitting here right now and any enemy of Joe is an enemy of mine and any friend of Joe is my friend and Amber is Joe friend so which makes Jetta my enemy and I will do whatever it takes to destroy her.
Romeo pauses for a moment.
Shaun leans back in his chair, a look of satisfaction spreading across his face as he nods approvingly at Romeo’s words.
Shaun Hart: Very good. Now, we've got work to do.
Romeo nods as the scene closes out.
A few days later we open up to a bustling Hollywood studio, where the controlled chaos of a film set comes to life. The air is filled with the buzz of activity cameras roll, stagehands adjust props, and actors run through lines. In the center of it all, a large set resembling the deck of a pirate ship dominates the stage, complete with billowing sails and a painted ocean backdrop. Shaun Hart and Romeo sit comfortably in tall director's chairs off to the side, observing the action unfold. Shaun is dressed in his usual sharp attire, while Romeo, clad in his grey hoodie, munches nonchalantly on a bag of chips, seemingly unfazed by the spectacle around him. Shaun watches intently, eyes focused on the scene playing out before them, while Romeo’s attention shifts back and forth between the chips and the unfolding action.
On the ship set, two actors in costume one a Jetta Tall Tide lookalike dressed in a flamboyant pirate outfit, complete with a captain’s hat and sword, and the other a Romeo lookalike wearing a rugged grey outfit similar to Romeo's own style are engaged in a fierce sword duel. The clashing of swords fills the set, the actors moving with the precision and energy of a well-rehearsed fight scene.
Shaun narrates the scene from his chair, his voice calm and instructive as he directs the unfolding drama.
Shaun Hart: And this is how it’s going to go on Monday Night Smash Ladies and Gentleman. The Pirates ship will be invaded by The Heartbreaker Romeo, Jetta will do her best to outduel my client but eventually she will become outmatched and then the pirate has nowhere left to run, outmatched and outplayed. Romeo corners her, relentless and unforgiving, just like in the ring.
On set, the Romeo lookalike presses the attack, forcing the Jetta lookalike back toward the ship’s edge. The pirate captain stumbles, nearly losing her footing as she retreats, sword swinging desperately to fend off her pursuer.
Shaun Hart: She thinks she can escape, but there’s no mercy, no retreat. This is where she pays for crossing the line, where she learns why you don’t mess with The Fortunate Ones!
With a final, decisive strike, the Romeo lookalike disarms the Jetta lookalike, sending her sword flying from her hand. She teeters on the plank, her expression a mix of defiance and fear. The Romeo lookalike steps forward, delivering a dramatic, forceful blow with his sword, sending the Jetta lookalike actor tumbling backward off the plank and into the simulated ocean below, a dramatic splash accompanying her fall. Romeo watches with a half-smirk, still casually eating his chips, his eyes never leaving the set as Shaun’s narration trails off.
Shaun Hart: That’s how we send a message. Clean, ruthless, and no loose ends. This is going to be Jettas future at Smash, Romeo is going to dispose of her and send her into the abyss.
Romeo crunches another chip, nodding slightly as he takes in the scene, the finality of the staged duel echoing the seriousness of their conversation earlier.
Romeo: Jetta if this was just a regular wrestling match I tell you this is just business and not personal, but because of your actions at Summer Madness and all the chaos it caused it is personal, and now I have been tasked to deal with you, and I will.
The actors on set reset for another take, the energy buzzing with the promise of more action to come.
Romeo: I'm not just going to pick up the win Jetta, I'm going to come at you just like my lookalike did on that set, I'm going to back you up, put the pressure on you and make you feel fear as you start to realize you are outmatched in this duel and just as my look like did yours, In our match I'm going to look you in your eyes and then I'm going to break your heart before I put you down or the one, two, and three.
Romeo smirks for a moment as he leans back looking at set again before returning his gaze.
Romeo: You choose to commit a crime against the TFO and your punishment is going to be a broken heart, I'm going to shatter it in the palm of my hand and then you can walk the plank, it be such a poetic ending for you Jetta, so sail your ship to Orlando Florida at the Kia center so I can sink it and give you the honor of the captain going down with her ship.
Romeo gives a sinister smirk and wink combo as the scene starts to close out.
Shaun Hart: Come on, Joe!
Shaun slams the phone down on the table with a thud that cuts through the quiet murmur of the restaurant, the action drawing a few startled looks from nearby diners.
