We are back at the last Smash where Connor Mallory is in the back pissed at what just happened with his match with Latoya Hixx. An interviewer comes up to talk to him.
Interviewer - Connor Mallory, can I get your comments on what happened tonight?
Connor doesn't want to talk as he is angry. He tries to walk away but the interviewer tries again.
Interviewer - After your loss to Latoya Hixx, you injured the referee that called your match. Are you worried about getting fined for your actions?
The interviewer suddenly gets lifted up and thrown against the wall collapsing to the ground. Connor leans over him yelling in his face.
Connor Mallory - You will never talk about that again! You hear me? I'm a real patriot, I deserve respect!
Mallory kicks the interviewer twice before leaving. People run in to help the interviewer who is hurt.
Now we are at therapy again with Dr. Anslo pausing the video. She rewinds it and shows Connor kicking the interviewer again.
Dr. Anslo - Does this look like something you should have done, Connor?
Connor is sitting on the couch with his arms crossed.
Connor Mallory - He wouldn't get out of my way.
Dr. Anslo - This happens sometimes in life, Connor. That doesn't give you the right to assault him.
Connor Mallory - No, but the next person will know better, won't they?
Dr. Anslo makes a note on her tablet.
Dr. Anslo - We really need to work on your anger issues, Connor. First you let your anger get the best of you and cost you your match. You followed that by attacking the referee. And then the interviewer. I heard you were threatened with suspension.
Connor Mallory - They mentioned it but I talked them out of it. They know that I am the future of this company so they are going to work with me.
Dr. Anslo - And how many times did you say you were sorry?
Connor glares at Dr. Anslo.
Connor Mallory - That's not important.
Dr. Anslo - Okay, that doesn't matter. What matters is that you have put your career comeback in jeopardy. You know that if you do something like this again, you may no longer be put into matches.
Connor Mallory - It won't happen again. I won't let something like that happen again.
Dr. Anslo - Are you talking about attacking officials or about losing to Latoya Hixx?
Connor Mallory - Both. I wouldn't have attacked the referee if he hadn't done what he did with Hixx. She will get what she deserves.
Dr. Anslo - Okay, but when things do not go your way, you have to remember to take some of the blame for yourself.
Connor Mallory - I will. When its deserved.
Connor gets up and turns towards the mirror to look at himself. He still believes in himself and knows that he is going to be the greatest wrestler in the history of the WGWF. Dr. Anslo thinks it through.
Dr. Anslo - Do you need me to be there with you at the next Smash? I am willing to travel where I am needed.
Connor Mallory - Why would I want that? I know you have feelings for me, Doctor, but it is not mutual.
Dr. Anslo - That is not at all what I meant and you know it, Connor. You might need someone to talk you down so that you do not destroy your career for a second time.
Connor Mallory - It's not going to happen. When I start getting wins over everyone I face and get my revenge on Latoya Hixx, my career will be skyrocketing and I will be fighting Enigma soon.
Dr. Anslo - Okay. I will not go there without your permission. But I will make sure I will be available if you call me that day.
Connor Mallory - Yes I have your number if I need it. But I won't need it.
Connor continues to look at himself in the mirror with a lot of confidence but Dr. Anslo is not convinced.
We join Connor Mallory standing in front of the Millennium Park in Chicago Illinois. Connor looks at his weird reflection in the sculpture and he doesn't look pleased.
Connor Mallory - Look at this waste of money and space. Chicago thinks that putting up this Cloud Gate piece of crap in their park is the best way to go? They could have honored our veterans with a great statue of them fighting for our rights. They could have had a series of American flags flying in the breeze. They could have put up a triumphant statue of Douglas MacArthur. And I know he was born in Arkansas but he is a real American and they should have honored him instead of putting up this lousy sculpture.
Connor spits on the side of the sculpture and walks away from it showing no respect for its art.
Connor Mallory - I am going to show all of you in Chicago what a real American looks like. First I am going to find Latoya Hixx and get my revenge on her for embarrassing me last Smash. After that, I will be taking my victory over this new guy Ezra Gideon and getting to wave the American flag in celebration once again.
Conor smiles in thinking about how he's going to win on Monday here in Chicago, showing all of them what greatness can be. They haven't seen it much since Michael Jordan retired.
Connor Mallory - Ezra you think that you can make your debut by making me look bad. You probably think that you are going to get an easy contest for the beginning of your career. But you would be wrong. You see being an adrenaline junkie is going to cost you against someone like me. I am not going to let you leap around the ring like you have springs in your shoes. I am going to ground you by throwing you around with every suplex you can think of and lock you into every submission you fear until you tap out to save your career. Being young means that you can bounce back so I would tap out quickly when you get the chance.
He wrings his hands together simulating breaking Ezra's ankle between them.
Connor Mallory - I am not being a nice guy anymore. I let my last two opponents survive and they have mocked me, showing me that I have to start putting bodies on the injured reserve to make my point. You are going to be the first, Ezra. Your only hope lasts with you tapping out quickly or your manager Bologna throwing in the towel before I do any permanent damage. I might break the hold then. I might.
Connor looks back at the sculpture disgusted.
Connor Mallory - Things like this upset me in their wastefulness. You are in the same boat Ezra because I see you as a waste of space right now. You haven't had the training that I have had. You haven't built yourself up through the ranks and made yourself great before you came to the WGWF. That is going to cause you to fail because Connor Mallory is the present and future of the WGWF. But like this sculpture I do not think all is lost. You can be recycled Ezra and turned into something better, something greater, like our glorious United States of America. You just have to be destroyed first and I am willing to do that.
Connor picks up a hammer and turns to the sculpture. He looks ready to smash it. Security runs in having been told to be ready and they stand in front of him. Connor laughs tossing them the hammer which is made out of foam.
Connor Mallory - You all are so easily fooled and so will Ezra Gideon. It is the time of Connor Mallory. The Spruce Goose will fly again and by the end everyone will be saying God Bless America.
Connor walks off leaving the foam hammer behind.
