Austin and Todrick strolled through Central Park, the iconic New York City green space acting as a backdrop to their deep conversation. The chirping of birds and the laughter of children around the park contrasted with the weight of their concerns.
Pushing the twins, Dominic and Diana, in their joint stroller, Todrick sighed, "Austin, I've been thinking... Are we doing right by Daniel?"
Austin looked over, his expression thoughtful. "You know, since I’ve been seeing him talk to Mac Bane, I've been having the same thoughts. Nothing good can come of that relationship. He's taken on so much responsibility with the twins, his studies, and still working at the Velvet Rabbit. I worry we’ve just replaced one form of stress with another for him."
Todrick nodded, "We wanted to give him a better life, a chance to chase his dreams. But now, I'm not sure if we're holding him back from living his own life."
Austin stopped and looked at the twins, their innocent faces unaware of the world around them. "I see so much of myself in him. When we met him, I wanted to give him the opportunities I never had. But maybe in doing so, we've inadvertently placed chains of a different kind on him."
Todrick, her voice thick with emotion, added, "He's done so much for us, especially with the twins. But he's only 23, Austin. He should be enjoying his youth, making memories, living without the weight of so much responsibility."
Austin took a deep breath, "We need to sit him down and talk to him. Maybe it's time we considered hiring a nanny. Give him some space, some freedom."
Todrick nodded, "And maybe even help him get his own place again if he wants. He can still be close, still be a part of our lives and the twins', but without feeling like he's sacrificing his own life. But let’s stay away from the him talking to Mac Bane situation. I know, I know, you don’t have to say anything, but the more we try to stop it, the closer they will get. Deep down, we both know Mac is only doing this to fuck with us. Why play his game? Another game is afoot, the Tag Team Championship match against S.E.X. at the Cannabis Cup. Mac will get bored with Daniel if he sees it is not upsetting us."
Austin frowned and nodded in agreement with his wife’s words, "The most important thing is for him to know we're here for him, no matter what. Whether he wants to move out, continue his job, focus on studies, or just take a break."
Todrick smiled, squeezing Austin's hand, "We've been through so much as a family. We'll get through this too. Together."
Austin nodded, "You're right. Daniel deserves the best, and we'll make sure he gets it."
As Austin and Todrick continued walking, the soft rustling of leaves and distant sounds of Central Park surrounded them, allowing for a momentary peace amidst their deep introspection.
"I sometimes wonder," Austin started, glancing towards the twins, "if we've unintentionally projected our own fears and desires onto Daniel. We've always wanted to protect him, but maybe we've been too... encompassing? If we did it to him, we don’t want to pass that on to these two."
Todrick looked thoughtful, "You might be onto something. Remember when we first met him at the Velvet Rabbit? There was this fire in his eyes, a determination to make something of himself despite the odds. And in trying to help, I hope we haven’t dimmed that fire."
Austin sighed, "Exactly. We saw him struggling and wanted to lift him up. But maybe he needs to face some of those struggles, not for hardship's sake, but to shape his own journey. That’s why it is so easy for guys like Joe Montuori and Mac Bane to manipulate him."
Pausing to adjust the stroller's canopy, Todrick mused, "Austin, you cannot let him know that is bothering you. You cannot let Mac know, either. Let’s switch gears, you know; he mentioned Brooke Blakely the other day. It seems like he is quite close to her now. Yet, with everything he's juggling, I wonder if he even gets time to nurture the relationship."
Austin nodded, "It’s essential for him, especially at this age. Connections, friendships, maybe even love. We should encourage it."
Todrick smiled wistfully, "Imagine our Daniel finding true love. But first, he needs the time and freedom to explore that side of life."
Austin grinned, "And we'll ensure he gets that. Starting with a heartfelt conversation and, of course, hiring that nanny."
Todrick chuckled, "One step at a time. But yes, our boy deserves all the happiness and freedom in the world."
With Central Park's serene beauty enveloping them, the couple's conversation flowed seamlessly, reflecting their unwavering commitment to their family's well-being. With renewed determination, the couple continued their stroll, the path ahead clearer and their commitment to their family stronger than ever.
Austin, feeling the weight of his previous conversation with Todrick, thought a trip to the zoo would be an ideal setting to talk to Daniel. The casual ambiance, the innocence of the animals, and the simplicity of the surroundings would hopefully make the conversation a bit lighter.
Daniel, unaware of the upcoming heart-to-heart, was excited when his father suggested the trip. "I haven't been to the zoo in years! It sounds like fun."
As they strolled among the exhibits, they paused at the lion enclosure, watching the majestic animals lounging lazily in the sun. Austin, taking a deep breath, turned to Daniel. "You know, these lions remind me of you in a way."
Daniel looked at his father, intrigued. "Really? How so?"
Austin gestured to the animals. "Look at them. They're kings in their own right. But in this environment, they're comfortable yet confined. They're cared for, but they're not truly free. Do you understand what I'm getting at?"
Daniel's eyes grew wide with realization. "You're talking about me, aren't you? About how I live my life now?"
Austin nodded. "Daniel, we're so proud of everything you're achieving. Medical school, helping with the twins, everything. But your mom and I, we've been worried. We want you to be the king of your own jungle, to live freely and on your terms."
Daniel sighed, looking down. "Dad, I appreciate everything you and Mom have done for me. You rescued me from a tough spot, and I'll forever be grateful. But with the twins and my studies, I just wanted to give back, to help."
Austin placed a hand on Daniel's shoulder. "We love that about you. Your sense of responsibility, your dedication. But you're still so young. We don’t want you to miss out on the experiences, friendships, even the hardships that come with this age."
Daniel looked at the lions, deep in thought. "I’ve been so busy, and sometimes it feels like life is passing me by. But I've never regretted any moment spent with the family. Well, when you both actually punish Dominic for the BS, he does. Haha."
Austin smiled, "We cherish every moment with you too. But maybe it's time for some changes. Like hiring a nanny for the twins. And maybe even encouraging you to move back to your own place, if you want. Just so you can have a slice of your own life, separate from us."
Daniel looked surprised. "Really? But I don’t want you to think I’m abandoning the family."
Austin chuckled, "Never. Family is always there, Daniel. But sometimes, you have to prioritize yourself. It's your time to explore, to learn, to grow."
Daniel hugged his father. "Thank you, Dad. I promise, no matter where life takes me, I'll always be there for our family."
Austin smiled, "And we'll always be here for you. Now, how about we go check out the giraffes?"
As they continued their day at the zoo, the weight of the conversation was lifted, replaced with a newfound understanding and bond between father and son.
In the gentle light of the nursery, Todrick cradled Diana in her arms. Her daughter’s soft, rhythmic breathing was a stark contrast to the thunderstorm of thoughts whirling in her mind.
She whispered softly, her voice full of determination, "Diana, your mom and dad built the WGWF Tag Team division. We made it relevant. We put our blood, sweat, and tears into every match, every promo, and every moment in that ring."
Diana cooed softly, her little hand clutching at Todrick's fingers.
"Those two, S.E.X., they may be at the top right now, but they're just transitional champions. They may dress and act like Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior, but this isn't the '80s anymore. Wrestling has evolved. And so have we."
She gently rocked the baby, the motion soothing her own frustrations. “They think everything's a joke. But we've faced jesters before, and we've sent each one of them packing. It’s more than just putting on a show. It's about the passion, the dedication, and the hard work. The Show Stealerz were meant to dominate the division, and nothing's going to change that."
Todrick's gaze hardened, "They can laugh, make their jokes, and underestimate us. But when that bell rings, all that will fade away. Their laughter won't save them from the precise execution of our moves, the strategies we’ve perfected over the years, and the unity we share as a team."
She leaned down, kissing Diana's forehead. "I want you to grow up knowing that your parents were the best. Three-time WGWF Tag Team Champions. And not just champions, but legends. And these jokers won't stand in our way. Their jokes won't block the ref's hand from hitting the mat, one, two, three."
As Diana drifted into a peaceful sleep, Todrick felt a renewed sense of purpose.
The moment Austin stepped into the house, a burst of energy in the form of his son, Dominic, sprinted towards him. Little feet pitter-pattered on the hardwood floor, and a gleeful shout filled the air. "Daddy!"
Austin's face lit up, and he bent down, scooping the young boy into his strong arms. "Hey, champ!" he exclaimed, ruffling Dominic's hair. With Dominic nestled against his chest, Austin made his way to the living room, sinking into the plush couch.
The room was filled with the warmth of the setting sun, casting a golden hue over everything. Austin gently rocked Dominic back and forth, the boy's green eyes looking up at him with pure innocence.
"You know, Dom," Austin began, his voice soft yet determined, "I had an important chat with Daniel today, and now, I want to share something with you." He paused, taking a deep breath, "In a few days, your mom and I have a big match at the Cannabis Cup. We're going up against S.E.X."
Dominic's face scrunched in confusion, clearly not understanding the gravity of his father's words but sensing their importance.
"They think they're funny, mimicking a tag team from the past that broke up because of their inflated egos. But there’s nothing funny about the mission your mom and I have. We are determined to regain the WGWF Tag Team Championships." Austin’s eyes sparkled with resolve.”
He continued, "Your grandma, Hattie, once told me that to be the best, you have to beat the best. And I promised her that your Mom and I would become the greatest tag team the industry has ever seen. It's not just about the titles. It's about legacy, about proving our worth, about showing the world what dedication and love for this business look like. She saw what a star your Mom is; she also saw your Mom would give it all up for me. Your Mom did that too."
Dominic played with a small toy wrestler in his hand, occasionally glancing up at his father as Austin spoke.
"And most importantly, Dom," Austin’s voice trembled slightly, emotion evident in his tone, "I want to make you, Daniel, and Diana proud. I want you three to know that your parents gave it their all, faced every challenge head-on, and never backed down."
Dominic, sensing the emotion in his father's voice, hugged Austin tightly. "Love you, Daddy."
Austin smiled, kissing the top of Dominic's head. "I love you too, champ. Always and forever."
The two sat there in the dimming light, a father sharing his dreams and aspirations with his son, forging an unbreakable bond with each passing moment.
The air was thick with nostalgia as Austin and Todrick stood inside the holographic simulation of an iconic '80s wrestling venue. Neon lights cast their glow over the ring, and the crowd's excited murmurs added an energy to the atmosphere that was almost palpable.
On the holographic screen, a scene began to play out, the Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan, two giants of their era, at odds behind Miss Elizabeth, a treasured figure in the wrestling world. The drama, the raw emotion, the energy, it all seemed so vivid, so real.
As they watched the iconic duo’s heated confrontation and inevitable break-up, Todrick shook her head. "See? Even the greats had their issues. It's not about being unbeatable; it's about rising after every fall."
Austin scoffed, “Look at this, Toddy. History repeats itself. S.E.X. thinks they're a new phenomenon, but they're just a rerun of what we've seen before.”
Todrick nodded in agreement, “It's true. So many have stepped up, claiming to be the best, unbeatable, the next big thing. And where are they now? We've faced them, and we've conquered them. S.E.X. will be no different."
Austin's face turned serious, “They're using humor as a shield. But jokes won’t help when we're in the ring. The WGWF Tag Team Championships aren't a prop for comedy. They represent dedication, passion, and excellence. Qualities they lack."
Todrick added with fierce determination, “We built the WGWF tag division from the ground up. We won't let a couple of comedians who know a few wrestling moves come in and claim it as their own. Especially not when the entire world knows they wouldn’t even be in this match if it wasn’t for the Young Lions.”
Austin clenched his fists, “They're champions by circumstance, not by merit. But that ends at our next match. The Show Stealerz are on a mission, and that mission is to remind the world why we are the team to beat in the WGWF."
Todrick smirked, “Third time’s the charm, right? We're reclaiming those titles. For us, for our legacy, and for every true wrestling fan out there.”
The holographic scene faded away, but the fire in Austin and Todrick's eyes remained, burning brighter than ever. They were ready, focused, and determined. The showdown with S.E.X. was looming, and they were hell-bent on victory.
The night had just begun, and the city's skyline shimmered in the backdrop of the upscale rooftop bar. Samuel Chatman, a tall and imposing figure, stood near the bar, sipping his whiskey and scanning the crowd until his eyes landed on Austin Ramsey. With a nod of acknowledgment, he beckoned Austin over.
Austin approached hesitantly, well aware of Samuel's protective nature over Todrick. He also knew that the two disagreed a lot. "Sam," he greeted, nodding in acknowledgment.
"Lil’ Dude," Samuel replied, his voice smooth yet laden with intent. "Let's cut to the chase. I called you out here for a reason."
Austin took a sip from his glass, waiting for Samuel to continue.
"You've grown on me," Samuel admitted, his eyes piercing into Austin's. "But I need you to understand something. My little sister, Toddy, she was on the rise, soaring high, destined to become one of the all-time greats. She chose to team up with you, chose to share her spotlight, she gave it all up to make your dreams come true."
Austin nodded, swallowing the weight of those words. "I know, Sam. And I'm grateful every day for the chance to work alongside her."
Samuel leaned in, his gaze never wavering from Austin's. "It's not just about gratitude, Austin. It's about responsibility. She sacrificed, so now it's on you to make sure it was worth it. You owe it to her, to yourself, and to everyone who believes in the Show Stealerz to give it your all."
Austin took a deep breath, feeling the pressure. "We're in this together, Sam. I promise I won't let Toddy down."
Samuel raised an eyebrow, taking a moment before speaking. "Look, Austin, people are talking. Whispering doubts, thinking you two have lost your edge. But we know better. You two are the team to beat for a reason. Forget the haters, the doubters. You know what it takes to be at the top."
Austin nodded, determination setting in. "We'll prove them wrong. We'll show them why we're the best."
"That's what I want to hear," Samuel said, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Remember, it's not just about skill. It's about synergy, about that unbreakable bond. You two have it. Make the world see it. Claim those titles for the third time. Make history."
Austin met Samuel's gaze with newfound resolve. "We will, Sam. The Show Stealerz will stand at the top of the mountain again. You have my word."
Samuel clinked his glass with Austin's, sealing the promise. The night was young, but for Austin, the mission was clearer than ever.
The gym echoed with the faint hum of overhead lights and distant city sounds. The once bustling training grounds were now silent, the rings and ropes standing as silent witnesses to the countless battles they'd seen. And in the center of the ring, Todrick Tabor-Ramsey sat, her vibrant energy dimmed for a brief moment.
Memories of their past victories played in her mind, the roaring of the crowd, the weight of the championship belts, and the sense of triumph that came with them. But along with the memories came a shadow of doubt. "Have I given enough?" she whispered to herself, her voice echoing slightly in the vast space.
The pressure weighed on her. She and Austin had been on top before, their synergy and energy unmatched. But now, as they aimed to reclaim their titles and face off against S.E.X., a different sort of challenge was before them. They were facing not just an opponent in the ring, but also the expectations and hopes of all their supporters, and the legacy they had created.
She stood up, walking over to a nearby mirror. The reflection showed a strong, formidable wrestler, but her eyes revealed an internal struggle. "Austin is depending on me, and with everything he does for this family, he deserves the best. We've built something special, something that can't be replicated. But am I still bringing my all?"
Her mind raced back to their recent trainings, their strategies, and their discussions. Austin had always been her rock, the one who believed in her even in the toughest of times. But she couldn't shake off the feeling that maybe, just maybe, she was the weak link now.
Taking a deep breath, she clenched her fists. "Winning. That's what it's all about. Not the laughter, not the jokes, not the banter. Victory." The desire to win surged within her, a familiar fire reigniting.
Punching the nearby punching bag, she began to train, each move sharper than the last. The doubt may have crept in, but it wouldn’t stay. She would prove to herself, to Austin, and to the world that the Show Stealerz were not to be trifled with.
The gym's ambiance shifted as Austin entered, his presence exuding confidence and determination. He saw Todrick, drenched in sweat, her focus sharp. A nod was exchanged between the couple, words unnecessary, as they understood their shared mission. People dressed as Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, and the like walked in, a clear challenge thrown at the Show Stealerz.
Austin and Todrick began their showcase. Match after match, they displayed their exceptional wrestling prowess. Against the imitations of Macho Man and Steamboat, Austin showcased his raw power and strength while Todrick countered with her agility and technique. Their chemistry in the ring was evident, tag moves were executed seamlessly, reflecting their undeniable synergy.
When faced with the Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior doppelgangers, the duo dug deep into their arsenal. Todrick, with her acrobatic prowess, flew from the ropes, landing perfect dropkicks, while Austin displayed brute force with body slams and suplexes. The audience, a mix of trainers and fellow wrestlers, watched in awe as The Show Stealerz dominated the ring.
The two were in their element, coordinating and strategizing on the go, ensuring one always had the other's back. They danced around the ring, outpacing, outthinking, and outfighting every opponent leaving The Show Stealerz standing tall in the center of the ring.
The message was clear, the Show Stealerz was a force to be reckoned with. They were more than ready for S.E.X. and the WGWF Tag Team Championships. They were primed, focused, and hungrier than ever to reclaim what was once theirs. The rest of the WGWF had been put on notice.
Ryan: "Ladies and gentlemen, it's a special episode of Wrestling Weekly, and boy, do we have a treat for you! Joining us are none other than The Show Stealerz, Austin Ramsey, and Todrick Tabor-Ramsey. Welcome to the show!"
Austin: "Thanks for having us, Ryan."
Todrick: "It's always a pleasure."
Ryan: "The buzz around your upcoming match against S.E.X. for the WGWF Tag Team Championships is electric. Fans are eagerly waiting for the clash. What are your final thoughts on your opponents?"
Austin: "Ryan, every team in the WGWF has its strengths, and S.E.X. isn't any different. They have their jokes, their gimmicks. But this isn't a comedy show; this is wrestling. And when it comes to wrestling, there's no team that can match our skill, our synergy, our passion."
Todrick: "And let's make one thing clear: We respect every team we step into the ring with. That's part of the game. But respect doesn't mean we're going to take it easy. S.E.X. might think they're in for a laugh, but they'll quickly realize that they're facing the best in the business."
Ryan: "Strong words. Now, the WGWF Tag Team Championships, it's not your first rodeo, and you're looking to reclaim those titles. What do they mean to both of you?"
Austin: "The WGWF Tag Team Championships aren't just belts. They're a testament to the blood, sweat, and tears we've put into this sport. To us, it's not just about the title; it's about legacy. It's about proving to ourselves, our fans, and the entire wrestling community that The Show Stealerz are the gold standard."
Todrick: "Absolutely. Those championships represent excellence, the pinnacle of tag team wrestling. They signify that you're the best of the best. And for us, it's not just about regaining them but also honoring the legacy of every team that's held them because we built this house, and people look to us to carry the legacy, we started the top of the mountain."
Austin: "When we step into that ring, it's about more than just a match. It's about pride, respect, and legacy that Toddy just mentioned. We've built something special together, and no one, especially not a team like S.E.X., is going to take that away from us."
Ryan: "The stakes are high, and the excitement is palpable. I know fans worldwide are gearing up for this epic showdown. Austin, Todrick, thank you for joining us today. Any last words for your Rockstars?"
Todrick: "To our Rockstars, the journey has been incredible because of you. Come the day of the match, we promise to give it our all and make you proud. The Show Stealerz will beat the best to become the best again."
Austin: "And to S.E.X.: Be ready. We're coming."
Ryan: "That's it for today's episode. Thanks for tuning in!"
Pushing the twins, Dominic and Diana, in their joint stroller, Todrick sighed, "Austin, I've been thinking... Are we doing right by Daniel?"
