When the girls of Cassette Collective aren't tossing their opponents around the ring, one of their favorite hang out spots is at the arcade center, and that is where we open up the scene at. There are dozens of arcade machines all lined up next to each other, lit up and ready to be used. The camera pans over to the entrance door. It swings open. Pax and KC step foot into the place and walk around, searching for an arcade that they wanted to play. They both come across a game of Street Fighter and walk over to the machine. Before they play, Pax pulls out a piece of bubblegum from her pocket and hands a piece to KC.
KC: Thanks. Do you want to team up with me, or would you rather go against me?
Pax: That's a no-brainer, I obviously want to be your partner. We will kick the other team's ass, just like we will do on Brawl against the Lions.
The two grab hold of the controls and start it up. They somehow get sucked inside the game. On one side of the screen is Pax and KC in pixelated form standing next to each other. The other side sees The Young Lions pushing around someone on the side. Cassette Collective take notice, walk up to them and punch the Young Lions in the face as the words FIGHT show up on the screen, and a fight ensues between all of them. A lot of good back and forth, but in the end Pax and KC managed to pick up a victory, celebrating afterward by jumping up and down as they jumped out of the screen and tumbled on the floor in front of the arcade machine again.
Pax: Dang, I don't know how we managed to do all that, but that was way cool.
KC: It almost felt too real. If we can defeat the lions like that, imagine what we can do at Summer Madness.
Pax nodded her head, and tightened her pigtails, feeling super motivated to get the job done.
Pax: We do you say we get out of here and get more training in the ring to make sure we are prepared.
KC: I like the sound of that.
KC gets up and extends a hand out to Pax. Pax grabs it and KC helps her up as the two leave the facility, having more of a discussion regarding their match on the way out.
KC: They say you should go out there and make your first impression count. We took that advice last week and succeeded, taking home a big win in our debut match against the unlikely duo of Brooke Blakely, and Emily Simms. We are proud of ourselves and have used the praise and advice we received from some of the locker room as motivation to continue to work harder moving forward.
Pax: If you have been watching Cassette Collective, you know we like to have fun and make friends no matter where we go, but we have a serious matter on our hands. That happens to involve our next opponents, The Young Lions. They are new to the scene, but started trouble early on with the Ramsey's when it was revealed they were behind the flowergate situation. Now, we don't know what it is like to have a significant other in our lives, but one thing that we can relate with the Ramsey's is you should never mess with someone else's personal life.
KC: Yet the Young Lions wanted to insert themselves in that kind of fire and try to ruin their beautiful marriage. What made matters even worse is these lions cost the Ramseys the belts last week a couple of weeks ago. We don't condone the actions they have done. It was disrespectful and should not have happened, but we have prepared ourselves for this moment where we have to meet the evildoers of this company.
Pax: Beating them would give us a sense of pride and relief, but most importantly it would ensure that we'd be coming in last in our Summer Madness matchup. There is a size difference, however, so that might be an issue for us. With the both of us combined, we believe we can take down the both of you. Another issue we might run into is we don't believe you will know the meaning of playing fair.
KC: Let's not forget you have a wild card in your deck, mates, and that is Kat Jones. While we don't necessarily know her as much as everyone else, there is a sense of untrustworthy vibe I get from her. Whatever evil plans you are cooking up, save them, because they will prove to be unsuccessful, even if it means we have to have eyes in the back of our head. Your kind of evil will not prevail, Young Lions.
Pax: You are hungry for this win, we are hungrier. Unlike the two of you, we don't need to rely on underhanded behavior to prove ourselves. We can be ourselves and go out there and attempt to win clean, and that's exactly the plan heading into next week's Brawl, elevating the tag division into something bigger than it deserves to be.
