The cameras show a man in a dark room wearing a leather red jacket and gray jeans that says “The Rising Ace” having his back away from the camera and speaking. He takes a deep breath and then turns around to reveal it's Nick Danger. He looks at the camera with a focused look on his face and speaks.
Nick Danger: Hello everyone in the wrestling world and the people of WGWF. My name is Nick Danger “ The Rising Ace”. Now I know a lot of my fans know me outside of WGWF. Plus I know at Wargames I showed that I wasn’t nobody you shouldn’t look down. So am I joining this federation?
Nick takes a deep breath and speaks again
Nick Danger: Most of you guys know that I am in IWF. I've been with them for three years now. I also have to make an impact in other companies in wrestling. But if you guys are new to seeing me in WGWF then I have to tell you who I am.
Nick takes a breath for a moment then speaks again
Nick Danger: I made my wrestling debut when I turned sixteen after my grandfather passed away when I was fifteen back in 2009. The company I was working for was called OCW. I forgot what it stands for so long ago. But anyway I was scared of going into my first match as a wrestler because I didn't know all the ropes. I never got the full training at the age of sixteen. I wasn't that good at defense or submission back then. I only did high flying and that cost me my first loss. The losses kept coming and I was thinking if this is going to work out I wanted to resign from wrestling until my father told me. To keep moving forward in matches and life. Quitting is easy but hard work is a struggle. So for two years, I proved to be a rising star in the indie circuit because when I was eighteen I won a tournament in Japan and it was called the Rising Star Tournament. It was brutal; the tournament was a two-night eighteen-round tournament. I ended up winning the tournament and winning a trophy. It was an honor wrestling event in Japan because I had a lot of battles with Alex Blade. He and I are still friends to this very day but he can be a pain in the ass at times but a very good friend.
Nick starts to slowly walk side to side still looking at the camera
Nick Danger: After I left Japan I went back to the Indies circuit and my name was getting noticed and offers were coming my way. My name was not Nick Danger, it was Nick Skill because I didn't think I was living up to my family name until I signed with GWA back in 2018. GWA stands for Global Wrestling Alliance and I had great matches with my tag team partner Zack Zero. Our tag-team name was the Striking Unit and we made the tag-team division great. I remember winning our first GWA Elite Tag Team Championship in a Hardcore Street against the tag team called Dark Collison and the fight was hands down a great match. That was the only title I won in GWA with Zack Zero before GWA shut their doors and Zack had leukemia. I remember his last words were to never doubt your potential.
Nick stops walking and then speaks with a tone of anger in his voice
Nick Danger: I have been pushing myself to be better than anyone else in that ring. When wrestlers call themselves the best in the world it bothers the hell outta me.
Nick Danger: Yes I’m part of the all-famous Danger family. I know how others feel about a generation of superstars from a famous wrestling family. They think that I don't have what it takes to be my own person without my family legacy because they think I'm chasing their legacy to try to be them. This is why I call myself “The Rising Ace” to keep on pushing myself to be better for myself and others.
Nick takes a breath for a moment and speaks
Nick Danger: I know at Wargames I ended up not pulling the win and it pushes me to do better in that ring. Me, Wilma Shakesfear, and Gerri Miller all stole the show. But at the end of the day, Wilma picked up the victory. So tonight I face Gerri Vayden and I plan to show what I can't inside that ring.
