Wrestling takes its toll on the human body, especially when you are employed by numerous companies, so when you step away from the business side of things, and you seclude yourself inside a cabin somewhere in the woods, finding solace as you do, you start to appreciate life more, so there she sat on a wooden chair next to a window with the curtains open while the sound of light rain is heard. Finally, after growing tired of sitting down, she decided to get up and walk towards a bookshelf in the corner of the room. Her eyes gazed at the assortment of books, it contained new books, books she never read before, and some that contained blank pages with her words written on them.
She pulled one of them out and decided to walk towards her bed and sit down on it with her legs crossed while her book rested on her lap, running her nails along the leather cover before she opened the book and started flipping through pages. Little did people know that she had been documenting her life in and out of the ring for five years in this very book, aspiring to one day turn this into an autobiography. Tonight, she felt a sense of excitement in her chest as she found a blank page, contemplating the words she would write. Her mind swirled with endless possibilities.
She closes the book and places it on the nightstand with the pen on top, then her eyes look toward the window again. The rain was still coming down hard along with thunder into the mix now, wanting desperately to venture out into the woods despite that, so grabs her umbrella that is on top of the TV stand along with her, and starts to unfold it. Once she did that, she threw a hoodie over herself, and took the risk of going outside under those conditions.
While out in the rain, she starts to make her way through the woods, avoiding stepping in the muddy puddles as much as possible. Luckily, she had her umbrella to shield her from getting wet as well. The sound of nature is her calming. At one point in this adventure, her legs grew tired from the walk, so she found a big rock and rested on it. The rain finally stopped, and the sun started to make an appearance.
Suddenly, the sound of a baby cat meowing is heard. Her eyes searched around, trying to locate where it was coming from. It turned out the kitten was high up on a tree branch. The meow sounds only continued to get louder, feeling bad for the poor cat as she folds up her umbrella and places it on the ground, then walks toward that specific tree. Her eyes peer up. She feared heights extremely. While her friends enjoyed exhilarating activities like mountain climbing, and exploring rooftops, Lexi preferred rooted on solid ground. Her fear steamed from almost falling off an amusement park ride due to a malfunction. This happened when she was just nine years old, never fully recovered from that traumatizing experience.
Most would not assume this of her considering her job involved soaring heights, yet she managed to put all the fears aside and conquer them. Today, she was about to conquer yet another one. Her heart pounded in her chest as she slowly climbed the tall tree, carefully of course. She managed to grab the friendly kitten and held it in her arms while her eyes narrowed down below. To her surprise, the fear that had consumed her for so long began to subside. Instead, a sense of awe and wonder took its place. The world looked different from up above, and Lexi realized that there was beauty even in the things that scared her the most.
The vision of her upcoming match was a big motivator in helping make that very climb.
Eventually, she carefully made her way down the tree and landed on the ground, freeing the cat from her arms and watching it scatter away. Next, she wiped her hands of the dirt she collected, grabbed her umbrella and continued to explore the woods more before she would return to the cabin for some rest, soon happy for the courage and the deed she showed.
If you are able to become a survivalist in any multiple person match, then I applaud you, because it's not easy, hence what happened a couple of weeks ago when I was eliminated from the battle royal. While I would have loved to have the chance to lead a team for War Games, it was not meant for me. On the bright side, I still have the opportunity to compete in this event in what is known as a Summer Madness Contendership Ladder Match, where the winner receives a Intercontinental Shot at Summer Madness.
Before I break down the match itself and my opponents, I want to point out something. I've been part of the WGWF since last year and every pay-per-view that I've been involved in I have come out undefeated yet people seem to sweep that under the rug. Perhaps it's not an important claim, but for me? It most certainly is, and I want to continue to ride that momentum. In order to do that I must muster all the strength within me. This is one of those challenges where if I'm not careful and my eyes aren't in the back of my head, I could potentially lose.
I've been clawing at some gold around my waist numerous times, but somehow my chances have always slipped out of my hands and landed in the hands of someone else. At War Games, I don't plan to relive those mistakes again. I'm sure Brooke Blakely will attempt to want to have her breakout moment at this grandest event, but, sweetheart, unfortunately for you, you will fail to live up to your own expectations and the ones the world set for you. I have watched your career since you stepped into the scene, and I've grown to appreciate the road you are taking in order to achieve success and growth. However, the road for you ends at War Games, and mine marks the beginning there.
Not many are aware of the fact that this isn't the only event where we will be meeting in the ring. On July 5th we are set to lock up, so at War Games I'm going to give you a little preview. This match will test us beyond our imaginable beliefs. Just when you think you're about to ascend to greatness when you climb up that ladder, I will be on the opposite side, using my own head, and the rest of my body parts as a weapon against you. In the end, you will just slip into a descension and watch me claim my rightful and much deserving opportunity.
This leads me to my next opponent, Johnny Bacchus. I like to refer to him as the king of the accolades on account of the long list of championships he has held. I respect that trust me, Johnny, and the time you have spent perfecting your craft.
My issue that I gathered is you are losing sight of your time within the WGWF and the full potential we could be seeing out of you, but we aren't. You have been featured in numerous matches, but let me ask you this: when have you gone out there and truly made an impact? An impact so big that it's the topic of discussion among the WGWF locker room.
Perhaps my vision is destitute, but I have not seen you make an impact since you debuted here. That's where you and I differ. No matter if I walked through the doors of said company, or if I've been there ten years, I'm there to make a lasting and the biggest impact the world will witness. This will be demonstrated at War Games come June 5th. Do I see you showing signs of change within you to do the same? The answer is no. To put it bluntly, you will be used as a filler. I beg of you to prove me wrong, because if you don't rock bottom will be your calling to your future. All the things that you worked hard for, the championships, the growth will all be for nothing.
Lastly, that brings me to my last opponent, Max Daemon. Upon doing my homework on you, it seems as though you and your father have this working relationship and close bond you share. I love nothing more than seeing support being shown, but part of me believes your father is a bad influence on you and is only using you to relive his own success.
Whether you believe that to be true or not is on you, but I hope for your sake I hope I don't see his involvement in this match. You want to prove you are a worthy competitor? Leave him in the back and fight fair and square. No one is going to go out there and hold my hand. I will walk into this war with my head straight, goal in mind and most importantly solitary, not interested in playing the numbers game to my advantage.
In closing, I will say this, so listen closely the thought of this opportunity to face Cholo at Summer Madness is merely at my fingertips has me burning with such passion and determination to take this victory home with me. Think about it, we have been in the same ring together on more than one occasion, but never one on one. That is… until Summer Madness comes around. War Games will be my stepping stone needed to go on and win the big one.
