OOC: I'm going to preface this by apologizing for this being late. It is mostly a CD with a tiny bit of match talk because I wanted to post something versus nothing.
Zara found herself in Hayesville again, visiting her cousin and her fiance. She had seen Marley’s tweet about not feeling well, so she wanted to check in on her. True, her cousin got sick with something almost every year without fail, but it didn’t stop Zara from worrying about her. She had been at Marley and Samuel’s house for a couple of hours already, and the woman was more worried about her cousin than she had originally been. Marley, who rarely puked even when seriously ill, had to excuse herself a few times for that very reason. Zara found her way to the living room where Samuel…she had been working on learning sign language so the two of them could talk even if Marley wasn’t around for whatever reason, so she was hoping that she had learned enough for the time being.
Zara Ivory: Has she been getting sick for long, Samuel?
The man looked down the hall towards their bathroom then back at Zara and gave a little nod before signing, “For a few days now. Even before the tweet she sent out yesterday.” He glanced down the hall again, a worried look crossing his face before he signed again, “I should go check on her.” She put her hand on his shoulder and gave him a smile before she stood up.
Zara Ivory: I’ll go check on her. I’m used to seeing her sick, so I doubt she’d mind me seeing her like this as much.
The wrestler headed down the hallway, glad that her cousin hadn’t locked the door behind her. She knocked on it gently, only once, then walked into the room and closed the door behind her again. Marley glanced up at her cousin from the floor before holding a finger up only to start puking again. Zara leaned againstthe wall and grimaced some at the sounds. Marley finally stopped then pulled herself up to sit on the edge of the tub with a sigh.
Zara Ivory: You need to get yourself a test, Mar. You rarely ever puke, and we both know it.
Marley Divata: It’s probably just a stomach bug, Zara. Look at how many people we’re around with all the traveling plus I always get sick around this time of year.
Zara raised a knowing eyebrow at her cousin, wondering why the woman seemed to be in denial at the chance of a possible pregnancy. She shook her head and crossed her arms as she looked down at the other woman.
Zara Ivory: I’ve seen you with the stomach flu a few times before before. You puked maybe once each time, and Samuel said you've been getting sick off and on for a few days. This is not a stomach bug, Marley. You need to get a test.
Marley Divata: Besides, you’re at the top of your career right now, and his has been going amazing…I don’t know what the timing would be like. You and I talked about this stuff before…you’ve already said you won’t let me come out ringside, and I doubt he’d want me to be ringside either. Plus you have a match with Punisher in WGWF and one with Samuel in Zion…you’ve got a lot coming up.
Zara sat down next to Marley and just gave her a look before wrapping her arm around her cousin’s shoulders.
Zara Ivory: I can handle Punisher, don’t worry about that. I was going to tell you to rest anyways after I saw your tweet about being sick…same with my match against Samuel since I know you were iffy about being ringside for our match as it is. Speaking of Samuel, you should tell him…he’s worried about you.
Marley quickly shook her head but said nothing as she looked down at the bathroom floor. Zara knew what that usually meant, but she also knew that Samuel was more than capable of taking care of the other green haired woman. She kissed the side of her cousin’s head and sighed a little.
Zara Ivory: You need to tell him, Mar, but I’ll leave it to you as far as if you do before you test or after. It’s not my place to do it for you. I highly doubt he’d be upset about it though, so please try to get out of your head before you get too far into it.
Zara squeezed her cousin’s shoulders again before she pushed herself off of the side of the tub and back to a standing position.
Zara Ivory: I have to head out to go to Vegas to deal with Punisher. Let me know what happens, okay, honey?
Marley gave Zara a little nod and the wrestler sighed before she walked out of the room. She walked down the hall and saw Samuel as well. He stopped and looked at her for a second before signing one word as a question, “Test?” Zara tried not to grimace or anything, knowing what she had told her cousin was true…it wasn’t her place to say anything to the msn.
Zara Ivory: It’s not my place to say anything, but it’s nothing bad, I promise. Just give her a few minutes, and she’ll be out, Samuel. I’ve got to head out to make my flight to Vegas, but I’ll see y’all in Japan for Mayhem. I’m looking forward to our match.
Samuel gave her a slightly confused, and worried look, before nodding in agreement. She leaned down a little to give Krueger a little scratch on the head then continued on her way out of the house, hoping in the back of her mind that her cousin wouldn’t keep it to herself for too long. After all, the longer she did, the more likely she would end up losing the battle to her ‘demons’ as they all called them.
