The executives at MIL Network had given the green light to begin filming for The Real Housewives of Wrestling. A show that Candice Page had pitched to the network. They had sent camera crews to start filming the ladies for the pilot episode. Of course, they would be in the house of “America’s Sweetheart” Todrick Tabor-Ramsey. The scene opens with a heated discussion between Toddy and her husband, Austin.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Austin! Austin, calm down.”
Austin Ramsey: “Fuck this, fuck that, and fuck him.”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “It really isn’t that big of a deal, Austin.”
Austin Ramsey: “Maybe it isn’t to you because you are blindly loyal. The fucker doesn’t like me, and this is some weird way to fuck with me without directly doing it with words.”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Austin, I can one hundred percent guarantee that when Chris Page meets with his GM to book the card, they don’t say let’s fuck with The Show Stealerz, specifically, Austin and book them in the middle of the card.”
Austin Ramsey: “It’s like you aren’t listening to me at all, Toddy. I said something about this last time, and you think it’s a coincidence that we are defending our titles again in the middle of the card? Wake the fuck up!”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Okay, there is a lot to unpack here, but let’s get one thing straight, you better calm down and don’t speak to me like that. Direct that anger in the appropriate direction. Direct that anger into defending our Tag Team Championships against Lexi Gol and Kim Pain at Brawl. Do not, and I mean this with all my heart, direct it at me.”
Austin grabs his keys, puts on a jacket, and walks toward the door.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Austin, you need to put on pants and actual sneakers before you leave the house.”
Austin Ramsey: “I have on shorts, and can I please go outside to smoke and sit in my car in fucking peace, Mom? Can I fucking do that?
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Okay, Austin, that’s fine.”
Todrick’s voice had an unnatural calm to it. Austin knew he was in trouble but didn’t care. He left the house and entered the garage. Todrick went upstairs and lay on her stomach at the foot of the bed.
“How did we get here, you ask? I wish there were a logical answer to that question. There isn’t; Austin is in his feelings because we aren’t booked as the Show Opener or the Main Event for the upcoming Brawl, where we are defending our Tag Team Championships against Lexi Gold and Kim Pain. He feels Chris Page is doing it intentionally because they have unspoken beef. I keep telling him that is completely asinine. Whoever is driving the train refuses to listen.
True, a formal sit-down never happened between the two, but we just signed with CCPE L.L.C., so why on Earth would he bury talent managed by his agency? Kim Pain is another talent signed with the agency, so I’m quite sure that is not the reason we are booked in the middle of the card.
I don’t even care where we are booked; I know you are supposed to, but if you look at my career, I have always been the workhorse of every company. I am the champion who defends the most and does it gracefully and with dignity. The only other person that can say that is one of the besties, Michelle Riggs. Chile, we knew that we would defend titles every show while those at the top defended… lemme just hush.
This isn’t about the past, this is about the present. This is about understanding that The Show Stealerz is the Tag Team that is the best in the world. We worked our way to the top, and Chris Page has an eye for talent, so he extended an invitation to us to be represented by the company that had just proved that they are the best in the world. It’s not ego speaking here, Austin and I have been on the grind for years, and we have certainly proved that we are not the underdogs but the team to beat.
If that stings, then challenge us and beat us. Plenty has tried and failed, and there is a reason for that. We simply are the best. I hope that Lexi is taking note of that while she is being wined and dined by the Beast. Then we come to Kim Pain and her relationship with one of my former #MCMs, but this isn’t about established relationships, is it? I have no desire to attack her relationship, but what I will go after is she has never faced a girl like me.
Kim and I like one another, and it’s no secret that Lexi and I like one another. That will have no bearing on our match. I’m the blond bomb scare in this match. Most people look at the blond to be the stupid one of the match but don’t judge me by my hair color or appearance. I’m just as much of a main eventer as a Paul Montuori, Punisher, Sonya Benson, John Cable, Cholo, Ace Sky, or any other heaux on this roster.
I can put on an entertaining match just like Mark Flynn or Peter Vaughn. I have proved that fact many time over and now that I’m represented in a company with all of them, I can start the show and keep all of you salivating for more or I can end it and make you tune in next week to see your “America’s Team” in action.
You all love Kim and Lexi, and that is their job to make you love them, but you love us more. We intend to keep it that way.
The scene cuts to the outside of the garage, where Austin is smoking his weed pen.
Austin Ramsey: “Austin is in trouble, fuck it all, Austin shouldn’t be in trouble. Why are the Show Stealerz in the middle of the show match yet again? This is bull shit. We are established champions, and the Television championship has been defended in the main event and challenged for in the opening show. Does that mean that the tag titles are just filler matches? Why are we continually disrespected in the WGWF?
Even if you don’t like us, we are fighting Lexi Gold and Kim Pain, who are red hot with the fans, so why book us in the middle? Are you saying the IC title is better than ours? No one has no-showed the tag titles but the people that are booked better than us may or may not show up each week. The IC people are fighting for what The Show Stealerz has already achieved. Why are we relegated to filler shit? You can’t say it’s CCPE because why are the best being put in shit areas of the show?
Me and Toddy are the best, and that has been established. That’s why you threw Kim Pain to the wolves because you knew we were the best and only a member of CCPE L.L.C. would have a shot at beating us. Lexi Gold isn’t one, and she is too concerned with making her Disney story happen outside of the ring versus inside of the ring. She hasn’t been focused on wrestling for quite some time, and it shows. Yeah, you booked us in a slot that was insignificant against partners that you never expected to beat us.
Dafuq, is that? That is some grade-A bullshit, and I don’t like it. It sounds like you need to do better with your tag team division. Week in and week out, we are always here to destroy your fanboys and girls and show you why we are such a dominant team. Lexi and Kim are another hodge podge team thrown together to say we care about the tag team division but not really. People hear that they are facing The Show Stealerz, and they fall the fuck up. Tell me I’m wrong.
Toddy won’t say it; she will cheer them on but fuck that; I know that we will beat these teams they force to face us. They don’t know us, and they don’t know each other. Fight me if I’m wrong!
The scene cuts to Toddy, and she hears a knock at the door.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Come in.”
Samuel Chatman enters the bedroom.
Samuel Chatman: “You good, fam?”
Sam walks over to a chair in the bedroom and sits down. Todrick turns around and looks at him.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “You heard all that, didn’t you?”
Samuel Chatman: “Kinda hard not to when Austin is screaming and banging his fist into things.”
Todrick looks down, ashamed.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “It’s a stupid fight, honestly, and he isn’t mad at me, but we are fighting. Do we have to talk about it?
Samuel Chatman: “No, we don’t. Come downstairs and grab some drinks with me.”
Sam exits the room, and Todrick looks at the camera.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “It’s crazy that me and Austin are fighting about something that is so insignificant to us when we get in the ring. It has never mattered when we stepped into the ring; we have always shown up and shown out. What makes this any different?
We are facing two fan favorites, but they have never worked together. They have never had to put timing together, and they have always excelled in singles competition, but we all know that does not carry over to tag team competition. The truth is they were doomed before they even began. Kim is a member of CCPE, but she is a junior member, and we have time and experience under our belt. This team screams help me, help me. When the world knows who is going to be the victor, Austin and I will get our shit together as we always do before the ring bell rings.”
The scene cuts to Austin snuffing out his blunt. He shakes his head and looks at the camera in his confessional.
Austin Ramsey: “We should be opening the show or the end of the show because we have proven ourselves just like those in those divisions. The Television title has been in the opening and closing, but we get snubbed. The company is sending a message to the masses that the tag titles are not valued. They put Lexi Gold in a match that didn’t matter; when has she even wrestled in this company? She is too concerned with making her version of Beauty and the Beast, but now she faces an actual beast in the ring and is not prepared.
I’m not going to wine and dine her; I am going to hit and destroy her. I don’t need a rose petal to fall to make my timing. She may be one of your favorites, but I’m teaming up with one of your favorites. Is your loyalty with Lexi or Toddy? The true Rockstars know that Toddy is the answer. Lexi and Kim may be “cool,” but they don’t stand up to the star power of the Show Stealerz.
The scene cuts back to Toddy in the car with Sam. The camera focuses on her.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Look, I get it; we have to face two of the best in the industry, but let’s be clear when it comes to the job at hand. It does not matter what place on the show’s card we are. We have a job to do and that we will, and we will do it well to the best of our ability. Kim and Lexi are great as singles competitors, but as a team, they will flounder just like you all expect. Lexi has her own concerns that have nothing to do with wrestling, and Kim is a friend that will struggle like I always have when facing another friend.
I don’t have those challenges these days. I am one of the best, and I know it. When I’m teaming with my husband, we are unstoppable. Something these ladies will find out soon enough. Who is really the favorite to win here? An established team with timing and moves down pact or a team that knows of one another but is not in sync?
They may spout a lot of words between them, but I know that even now, my Austin is saying all the right things, and we will win this match. That’s love and a genuine partnership right there.
The scene cuts to Austin walking back into the house.
Austin Ramsey: “Look, we may be in the middle match, but we are going to steal the show as usual and fuck dem other heauxs. You all know this is the match to watch. We will deliver as always. Kim and Lexi, we may like you as people but fuck this notion of y’all being a team that is worthy of the tag team titles. I can’t in good conscience wish you good luck because it won’t apply when we face one another at Brawl. Toddy, this little hiccup today is nothing compared to what we will do on Monday. I’m sorry, baby. Let’s show the world who we are yet again when we retain our tag team championships on Monday Night Brawl.”
The scene ends and ensures the audience knows this is a part of the upcoming pilot show.
