Celebrating Dominic and Diana
Todrick and Austin are in the elevator with Sean, the bouncer helping them take all the beautiful gifts they received at the baby shower to the parking garage to load into their SUV. Both parents are on cloud nine and have smiles plastered on their faces. The ding of the elevator sounded, and they headed toward Austin’s assigned parking spot. His being The Warren’s manager certainly had its perks and benefits. With the amount of stuff they were wheeling out to the car, it was a godsend at this moment. Once they finished loading, Sean and Austin did some weird handshake, and he left the two at the car.
Austin Ramsey: “Well, we did it, Babe. We had the best baby shower in the world to celebrate the birth of Dominic Xavier and Diana Simone Ramsey.”
Austin’s face beamed with pride as he spoke his children’s names aloud. Todrick gazed lovingly at him. They hadn’t fought about the names at all, and Austin lovingly deferred to his wife with decisions of this nature. She had gone out of her way to ensure he felt included and knew that he absolutely had a say in it, but that was Austin’s nature when it came to his wife. He was assertive when he needed to be, but he knew that her decision-making process was solid and always in his best interest.
Austin sits on the back of the opened trunk and pulls her into his lap as he holds her waist. She leans down and kisses him on the forehead.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “We did, Babe. Our friends have always shown up and showed out for us. I will be writing thank you cards for the next three days.”
Austin Ramsey: “I just have to sign my name on them, right?”
He playfully swats her bottom, and she shakes her head and laughs.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “I love you, Austin, but that is the only thing I want you writing on those cards. Same deal as usual, I will write them out, we sign them, you help me stuff and seal the envelopes, and then you take them to the post office. And if you ride around with them in the car for two weeks, it’s going to be you and me.”
Austin Ramsey: “OMG, that happened like two times.”
Todrick playfully swatted him on the shoulder, and the two laughed.
Austin Ramsey: “As long as you don’t come at me the way you came at Vittore Costa in that match I had against Joseph “Ace” Buongiorno. You were a spitfire that night.”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Perhaps if he would’ve minded his business and let the two of you have a fair match, then I wouldn’t have had to turn up like that. But don’t worry, I get the chance on the next Brawl to get my hands on him and show him why he should never have crossed The Ramsey Family.’
Austin can feel the heat coming off of Todrick as she has gotten fired up about that match where The Ramsey record in WGWF had received its first blemish. He didn’t want to lose the feeling of the day, so he grabbed her face and kissed her.
Austin Ramsey: “Hey now, there will be time for all of that later. We will enjoy celebrating our first steps into welcoming our twins into the world tonight. January will be here before we know it, and Dominic and Diana will be in our lives. You will be a fantastic mother to them, and I hope I can measure up as their father.”
Todrick looked into his green eyes lovingly, and she saw the love and warmth shift to worry. He had been worried about this for quite some time, and she had to wake him from his sleep lately because of his dreams, and he was talking aloud. It was no secret that his parents were horrible, and with his disability, he hoped that he didn’t pass that on to his children and that he would be a better father than his was. Now it was her turn to pull him back into the moment. She gently held his face in her hands.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Austin, come back to me and the true purpose of the night. You are going to be a wonderful father. You are so good with kids. I’ve seen you with Whitney and Titan when Akasha comes over. You have an advantage over us all; you know how to speak their language and relate to them when others don’t. That’s not a disability; that’s an advantage. I trust you with my life, Dominic’s, and Diana’s. You would never let any harm come to any of us. Look at how you are with Duke and your other asshole dog, Domino.
I know that I was skeptical for a very long time but how you cared for those dogs and how you are with kids when people come over changed my mind about having a child in a big way. It wasn’t the therapy we were going to; it was you. I know that it was a significant source of the issues we were having, but your actions were speaking louder than your words. Having children with you is an absolute no-hesitation decision now. You are going to be the world’s greatest father.”
Austin comes back into the moment, and in only moments that Todrick is privy to, the tears fall from his eyes and drip down his face. He hates crying and has to stop this right away.
Austin Ramsey: “Better than Samuel Chatman?”
Todrick wipes his eyes, and the two chuckle.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Actually, yes, I suspect that you, just like Sam, will always be the good cop, and Akasha and I will always be the bad cop. You both have that talent. You do that with the dogs, and I have no doubt it will be the same way with the twins.”
Austin Ramsey: “I can’t help that I’m cooler than you. Tuh! But I like it, Baby. Just know that I am much better than Chatman.”
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Sweetie, you know Sam is my brother, and I always choose my husband first, so you win.”
Austin gushes, and he gently sets her on the ground and stands up.
Austin Ramsey: “I knew I cuffed you up quickly for a reason. We gotta go upstairs, though; I have to work. I’m going to miss Velvet Rabbit NY; my transfer to Velvet Rabbit LV was approved. We haven’t announced it yet, but this place is special in my heart.”
He pulls her in close and kisses her. He takes her hand, and they head to the elevator, get off on the Warrens floor, and head toward his office.
He pulls her in close and kisses her. He takes her hand, and they head to the elevator, get off on the Warrens floor, and head toward his office.
J Mont: “Hey Brother...was trying to catch up with you when everyone wasn't around.”
Austin Ramsey: “Hey, Brother, I’m so glad you are here. This day was the best, but I definitely wanted to talk to you alone.”
[J Mont looks over at Mia, who is holding Baby G Mont.]
Mia: “I guess this is my cue to step away for a moment. Is Toddy around?”
Austin Ramsey: “LOL, yeah, she’s in my office, Mia. You know you are more than welcome to go in there.”
[Mia gives J Mont a kiss on the cheek as she takes Baby G Mont into the office to spend time with Toddy while the boys talk outside.]
J Mont: “I guess you have something to talk about, but I also have something for you and Toddy that pertains to the twins.”
Austin Ramsey: “Yeah, I got your bachelor party sorted, but another gift for the twins? You do so much for us already. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better brother and sister than you and Mia. And my goddaughter is the absolute best.”
[J Mont, standing there, has a manilla folder in his hand. Usually, when people see this, they think the worst, so hopefully, it's not bad news for Austin that he has with him.]
J Mont: “I trust whatever you do for the bachelor party. I'm just happy that the big day is almost here, and I appreciate all that you are doing for it. I told you from the get-go that I'm always going to be there for the twins. They are family, and I know you would do the same for Baby G Mont. But yes, this gift is from myself and Mia, and we think it's a gift they will cherish in the future.”
[Austin looks at the envelope, but since his brother is holding it, he does not worry.]
Austin Ramsey: “I got activities planned that wouldn’t get you into any trouble with Mia, but we will all have fun, even your single friends; the married ones won’t get into any trouble. My wife threatened me, haha. But seriously, I know that you would be there for my babies. You do enough, but I need to prepare myself for what you have in that envelope.”
[J Mont hands Austin the envelope.]
J Mont: “Before you open it, I promise you that it's nothing bad at all. No pictures of you butt-ass naked dancing on the table at the Rabbit. HAHA! But for real, this gift is from the hearts of Mia and myself. We hope the kids will take advantage of this in the future.”
Austin Ramsey: “In the future?”
J Mont: “Open the envelope, Austin.”
[Austin starts to open the envelope with excitement and nerves as well. He pulls out two pieces of paper. One says Dominic Xavier Ramsey, and the other says, Diana Simone Ramsey. There is a lot of confidential writing on there, and it's all certified.]
Austin Ramsey: “What is this, brother?”
J Mont: “Well, since you don't want to read and be lazy, I will give you the quick version of what you have there. Right there is the documentation for each of your children that when they are ready to attend college, their tuition, room and board, books, and food money will be paid and covered by J Mont and Mia. It doesn't matter if they pick a 10k college or a 100k college. We got them and believe in them to be the best in the future. We wanted to ensure you and Toddy did not stress about that as they got older. As the godfather, they are my responsibility as well. I hope you and Toddy like the gift.”
[For the second time in the evening, the tears begin to form in Austin’s eyes. He tries to regain control, but this means so much to him.]
Austin Ramsey: “Joe..I..thank you. I’m trying to formulate the words to say how much this means to me. I know Toddy will feel the same way. I know that you have money, and that isn’t why I became friends with you but giving my children a future with no limits is the greatest thing anyone has ever given me outside of Toddy giving me her love. You and Mia are family, and I love you both so much.”
[Mia walks out of the office but doesn't have Baby G Mont in her arms. But have no fear. Right behind Mia is Toddy, who is holding Baby G Mont.]
Mia: “So, did Austin like the surprise?”
[Austin’s tears flow, and Toddy knows that something extraordinary has happened.]
Austin Ramsey: “Mia, I have no words that can express my gratitude for this gift to my children. You two are indeed our family, and we love you. There is nothing I would not do for you both.”
J Mont: “You going to tell Toddy what you have there? She’s looking at you, wondering what you have in your hands.”
Austin Ramsey: “Toddy, our kids have a FULL ride to any college they choose. Like it’s the works. I don’t know what to say to express the full depth of our gratitude. This is a parent’s dream. It’s why I work all these jobs, and J Mont and Mia answered our prayers. I won’t have to work as many jobs now because of this gift. I get to spend more time with you as you wanted.”
[Toddy smiles, looks down at Baby G Mont, and renews her vow that she will want for nothing. Her parents had money, but she knew that The Ramseys would do things when the parents couldn’t. The Ramseys would always be there for them. This was a love that people wished and dreamed about.]
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “We cannot begin to thank you enough for this. Just know that Gia will always be taken care of as well. We love you.”
Mia: “We love you both and the twins as well. This is a bond that no one will ever be able to break up.”
[Austin, Toddy with Baby G Mont, Mia, and J Mont all come in for a big family hug.]

Toddy’s Revenge
Todrick is standing by the WGWF ring in her ring gear. She looks at the camera and smiles.
Todrick Tabor-Ramsey: “Vittore Costa, you and I have a date with destiny soon, and I have a score to settle. The last time we were in this very spot, you saw fit to involve yourself in Ramsey business. That was not a wise decision because wrestling is our business, and business is good. I mean, it was clear that “Ace” wasn’t going to beat Austin, so you just had to keep involving yourself in that match.
“Ace” may have picked up the win, but it is tarnished, and everyone knows it. You have a chance to prove me wrong this week with a clean win if you can, but we both know that isn’t the case. Why do you think that is? I’ll tell you, we all know that you are a sidekick and not even a good one. You are the Jason Todd of the group, and everyone hates you as the less popular Robin to the desperate Batman that “Ace” thinks he is. You both are a joke; everyone knows it, but most importantly, you know it.
I challenge you to get in this ring on Brawl and prove me wrong. Face me without having “Ace” get involved. Accept this fall from grace as I get my revenge and right this wrong. I am no sidekick; I am the real deal and a part of a real team, and I will show you that once I get my hands on you in this very ring. But enough talk, see you soon, sidekick.
