~Big Talker~
He wasn’t a big talker especially when it came to his past and one could only imagine how that fire began in his eyes.
Some would say he was cold hearted just by the way he looked. He wasn’t though, he just gave too much of his soul to those that he cared for and left far too little for himself.
He didn’t smile often, but when he did you could tell he was a man who was force fed darkness.
~Last Weekend Off Camera~
Emily was sitting on the bed with her laptop in her lap and checking out her social media pages when her cobalt blue cat shaped phone began to rang.
“Hey Lexi! What’s up girl?”
I wouldn’t call unless I needed to Emily but, I was hoping you might come over and spend a couple of days with me at my home. I’m nervous. Do you remember my stalker I told you about? Well they’re ramping things up and I don’t feel safe alone.”
“Of course Lexi girl! I can be there in a couple of hours if that works, Buster is gone downstairs to work out and I’m working on some business stuff for my dad.”
“I don’t want to pull you away from something Emily.”
“No trouble at all, that’s what friends are for Lexi. I’ll see you soon.”
When Buster arrived back, Emily explained the situation to him as she finished packing up a small suitcase and her laptop. “Give me a call when you get there okay?” Buster asked her as he helped he walked down the hallway towards the elevator with her.
“I will handsome,”She replied as she stood up on her tiptoes and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.
Buster watched Emily pull out of the parking lot and he waved until she was out of sight.
Emily knew the drive and she buzzed when she pulled up outside of the sprawling gates.
“It’s me Lexi!” Emily said into the speaker box. The gates opened up and Emily drove up the winding drive way. Lexi met her outside and Emily hugged her new friend before she grabbed her stuff from the car.
“Thank you so much for coming Emily, I really appreciate it.”
“Anything for my friend Lexi.”
“Have you had dinner yet?”
“No I haven’t.”
“Do you like pizza?”
“Silly question! Of course I love pizza!”
A little while later, both girls were sitting in front of Lexi’s television and watching a rerun of the Big Bang Theory with their plates full of pizza and their glasses full of ice cold Pepsi! They watched tv for the next few hours and even found a movie that they could both agree on to watch. Lexi made popcorn while Emily curled up with her feet underneath her body.
“Oh that smells so good Lexi!” Emily said as she saw the big bowl of popcorn. They both ended up falling asleep on the couch before the movie was over, Lexi woke Emily and showed her to one of the guest rooms. Both women said good night and hugged again before Lexi left she said to Emily.
“I’m glad you’re here Emily.”

Emily steps out onto the roof of the Velvet Rabbit in Las Vegas
“Hey Bam… We have a match coming up at the WGWF and I’ve been doing my research on you. I’ve learned a lot about you in the past couple of days. So, if I understand correctly, you’re basically just a henchman for CCPE? You hit people in the head with bricks? And you like that lifestyle? Do you really think you’re living your best life? Ok. What evs, Bama. I know you’re a big guy. Which isn’t anything new to me. But do you really think you can keep up with my speed? I live my life a quarter match at a time, Milldog. You can build as many brick walls as you want around yourself, for whatever reason, but it won’t stop me from skipping down that yellow brick road bringing you down. People say that I’m just an entitled brat that surrounds myself with ‘yes’ men and pleasers, but I am NOT afraid to bend the rules to get what I want. I was in Level Up when you were making your name there. I watched your body of work. And I feel like I know you pretty well by now. You really should treat other people better, Bam Bam. The people around you are the ones that can make or break you. You’ve turned your back on some really good people for the sake of repping that CCPE brand. I hope you know what you’re doing, because if you cross them, or even just offend them in the slightest way, they WILL destroy you. ”
She taps her chin with her finger and smiles into the camera.
“So, we know about you… How about I share a little bit about myself. I mean, that’s fair, right? I’m not all soda pop and rainbows all the time. There’s a dark side to me that you haven’t seen before Bam Newton. I know pain. I know suffering. I know a drug addict mother and an alcoholic father. I’ve seen the worst in people. And I’ve seen people recover from darkness and keep their sobriety for the rest of their lives. I love my parents. I’m proud of my father for what he’s overcome. And I’m stronger for it.”
“My time in Level Up was… interesting, The record books won’t show you many wins on my record. You won’t see championships and trophies. But what I was unable to do in Level Up, I am bound and determined to do here in WGWF! I have a taste for gold. I have eyes for that Television Title. I’m a damn fine wrestler that this company would be proud to put on the front lines of the federation. I’m not afraid of you or your reputation either. Because I see the precarious situation you’re actually in. You have people surrounding you, that have big expectations about what you should be accomplishing. And this match with me is a trap match that could spell the end for you in your club. These guys say what they think you need to hear, but they will turn their backs on you the moment you make them look weak. Have you seen what they’ve been saying about Mac Bane? Have you seen what they’ve been saying about Holden Ross? The house of Page is on fire, and you’re just playing with building bricks in the basement.”
“I’ve heard about your life growing up in the foster care system in Detroit. That must have been really tough. I sincerely mean that. But just because we come from two very different backgrounds doesn’t mean that we don’t both understand this game. All of us are the culmination of our upbringings. You probably need someone to say this to you, so I’ll say it. Bamantha, you aren’t responsible for the programming you received as a child. That wasn’t your fault. But the way you behave yourself as an adult, in this wonderful world of profession wrestling is one hundred percent your fault. Fix it. Do better…”
“I was engaged once and my fiance was taken away from me by a drunk driver. It was the single greatest tragedy of my life. In the days that followed, I thought that nothing would ever be the same again. I didn’t believe that I could rebuild a life worth living. I cried for days. Maybe even weeks. And that’s ok. I’ve always been a bit of a crier. But that doesn’t mean I can’t still smash you in the smile bones, Bam Cracker! I understand what it feels like to have your heart ripped out of your chest and stomped upon by a thousand horses. I’ve been in that dark place, below the bottom, where hope goes to die. But eventually, light works its way through the darkness and you can see the shape of things again. Every bit of negative energy was poured back into my training and I was an excellent student. A prodigy even. A kick boxing star and a wrestling phenom.”
“All I needed was a big break, and it wasn’t long before I got one. I was signed to a small wrestling federation. I made some new friends. And I found a new love interest. What began as a small spark, grew and gave me hope that I could be loved again. I was wrong. He didn’t love me back. He was scared and I was scared and the both of us ruined any chance of making a real go of things. But we stayed friends. It’s nice to have real friends. Do you know what that feels like Jean Claude Van Bam? My friend, Duncan, who you may have formerly known as Commander Duncan Shepard or more recently known as Duncan Ryder, introduced me to the Owner of Level Up Wrestling. They signed me and that’s where things stayed for a while. Duncan and I aren’t very good friends anymore, but if I hadn’t met him, and if I hadn’t taken the chance at Level Up, then I would have never met one of my favorite people ever. You know him too Bam Chowder. His name is Buster Gloves, and he… is… awesome. Me and him, we clicked right away. We talked. We soul bonded. It was never supposed to be a romantic thing, but that’s what it turned into, and that’s how it happened. So when Duncan finally came knocking on my door, trying to win my heart, it was way too late. My heart belongs to pro-wrestling. And whatever is left over after that is all for my guy, Buster.
“I’m not trying to brag or relationship flex on you here Bamchops. I’m telling you this story because I know pain. I know loss. I know what it’s like to fall and get back up and to believe in something new. I’m glad my life ended up. Performing for millions of fans, sharing my life on camera with millions of followers, drinking Pepsi and cracking skulls. All without hitting people in their heads with bricks. Are you happy with your life? Do you have friends you can count on? Does somebody love you as much as you love masonry?
Our match at BRAWL is my time to give some love back to the WGWF for believing in me. It’s my chance to prove to the fans and to Buster that I don’t need a little help from my friends to get by. BRAWL is my chance to show BAM MILLER and CCPE that I’m more than just a pretty face. I’m a premier athlete that will stop at nothing to reach the stars. I’m a future champion with titles in my eyes. The yellow brick road to the WGWF Championship starts with Bam Miller and it ends with immortality. So sit back, enjoy a delicious, refreshing, Pepsi Cola, and enjoy the show. It’s Emmy Time!
