"Magic Mike" Killings takes a deep breath, clears his throat, makes sure his camera is steady and his TikTok feed is poppin...then begins his stream:
There's a rustle for a mic off camera and it interrupts Mike.
Mike, noticeably annoyed, turns his camera around to a figure shrouded in shadow puffing on a cigar. The embers burn as a long drag is taken.
The light clicks on and Hunter sits across the podcast studio from Mike. He puts out the cigar in a nearby ashtray and leans in.
MAGIC MIKE: It's a beautiful Wednesday morning in Detroit, Michigan. A beautiful morning for some beautiful news as the WGWF has released it's first card in yet another attempt at yet another rebirth. Word around the campfire is that Chris Page and James Raven are working side by side to reboot the best version yet. While the initial roster is thin with maybe a handful of household names attached, one has to wonder what this version is going to look like and how long it's to hold up.
There's a rustle for a mic off camera and it interrupts Mike.
VOICE: That's quite enough, Killings.
VOICE: I'm not sure I like your pessimism.
MAGIC MIKE (off camera): Are you really doing the hidden figure in the dark thing. My God that's played out.
VOICE: Or you could just turn on the fucking light behind you.
The light clicks on and Hunter sits across the podcast studio from Mike. He puts out the cigar in a nearby ashtray and leans in.
HUNTER: I'm going to make this as quick and painless as humanly possible. I know you have plenty of fans to pander to. I saw you hit 1k last week. Good on you, Killings.
In 2006, I took a chance to change my life and become a pro wrestler. One company got me started and prepared me for another - the WGWF - where I thrived and won multiple championships. In 2010, I helped yet another reboot of the WGWF along with my brother Nick and Jocelyn Camden. Even ran a "minor league" show with Nick for a minute. Jump to 2012 and I'm a WGWF Hall of Famer. Not because of my body of work with one company but with two and the influence I've had in the industry.
(he pauses)
It's been a long time. I've tried coming back. I've tried seeing what this now 40-something body can still do. I have a few more...affairs to handle. The first card of this go around is on September 26th in Las Vegas. Funny...these affairs just happen to be wrapping up nearby in Sunrise Manor.
Definitely gives me something to think about...

He turns the camera back towards "Magic Mike" and leaves the studio leaving the podcast host completely confused.
