Entrance Music: "The Catalyst" by Linkin Park
Entrance description: The opening notes of "The Catalyst" by Linkin Park queue up on the speakers as on the screen, a video game drop down menu opens and the cursor hovers over the options, "LOAD GAME, SAVE GAME" before coming to the first option, "START GAME" and highlighting it. Kyle Shane steps slowly out onto the stage. The Assassins hood to his longcoat is pulled low over his face. The distinctive duo of Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda rises in tempo as it begins the call-and response: "God bless us everyone, we're a broken people living under loaded gun. And it can't be outfought, it can't be outdone, it can't be outmatched, it can't be outrun. No! And when I close my eyes tonight, to symphonies of blinding light!" Kyle tilts his head back and holds his arms out, taking in the reception of the crowd. The crowd gets on it's feet for the returning God of Game. There are pockets of people that are irritated and give their negative reaction to the flippy, smarky, self-absorbed Catalyst, but a vast majority of the people know his history and his accomplishments, if not his in-ring prowess. Some even give him a fanning bow as Kyle swaggers down the aisle. 1/2 the way down the aisle, Kyle pivots, holding his arms up to either side of him. He climbs onto the apron. Kyle balances on the ropes for a moment, points to himself and smirks, holding his arms out, and then he hops down, takes off his longcoat and stretches a few times to get ready.
Background info: Kyle Shane is a man who prides himself on one thing above all else: achievement. In fact, it is the one god he has pledged his life to. When he was younger, he was a feckless and carefree punk who covered his considerable well of teen angst with a fuck-you smirk and a sharp barb. The weight of his past sometimes eats at him, and so his entire life has been based around one thing: coping mechanisms. To that end, becoming the ultimate gamer is his way of putting on an armor. He prides himself on rising above growing up poor trailer trash with a dead mommy, an abusive dickhead dad and a sad past. He prides himself on coming to wrestling, originally just for the lulz as he formed a partnership with his multiplayer COD team in the popular Game Boyz tandem, and yet from that awkward beginning he forged a strong base. Wrestling connected with his soul; it allowed him to merge the worlds of spitting venomous shit talk to people about their lack of skill with an almost gravity defying, levelling up skill set. Even when it wasn't something he meant to get entrenched in. He rose in ranks and jumped from company to company, racking up title wins and counting them as trophies unlocked, a deep hunger which he has indulged in more and more. Wrestling as gaming became the best coping mechanism he could find. And he is the God of Game, always.
The current, slightly more adult Kyle Shane is someone that knows that getting high and playing life like a game can only hold the dark back so long. His mercurial nature and aloofness makes it hard for him to stay connected, so his first deep down instinct is to run, but there is some kind of spark in Kyle Shane that makes him fight. He is always at war with his nature, of left brain and right brain. But he is first and foremost confident in his abilities. He is always interested in bringing those around him onto a level with him and believes that his example brings lasting change to the status quo of what makes the fed work; A Catalyst.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION/ATTIRE: Kyle is a relatively tall, well built young man, thin, with longish legs, and a compact but extremely cut body. Some would even say scrawny, with a long neck. But a boyishly handsome face. His auburn hair is gelled up into a quiff, and he has a little bit of stubble. He has a sleeve of very nerdy tattoos on his left arm, a montage of classic NES characters and a LoZ Tri-Force, a 1-up mushroom, a coin box, etc. He has a ring of seven Dragon balls on his right shoulder.
Out of the ring attire: Kyle is where the fusion meets of mid 2000's emo kids and twenties hipster brat. He wears skinny jeans and super tight tees of many varieties, all fandom, video game or band merch, Hot Topic bought. He accentuates this with a large amount of leather wristbands, string, beads on his wrists. He might wear a knit beanie with the logo of some shitty pop punk band. He might wear a thick wool peacoat over top of this, weather permitting, or a simple, black hoodie with white strings. Usually sports a beat up pair of Chuck Taylor skater shoes.
In ring attire: Kyle sports professional looking wrist tape, and a pair of short wrestling trunks with bare legs down to the knee. The trunks are black and white, and have an 8-bit graphic box border on the butt saying "Game Changer". His knee pads are black, and have a gold Brotherhood of Assassins crest on the kneecap. He has black boots with white kick-guards. To the ring, he wears a pirate longcoat with a hood, colored white and blue with red linings on the inside of the coat, tailored to look like Edward Kenway from Assassin's Creed 4. On the back of the coat is a red phoenix flame design. Kyle takes the longcoat off before he wrestles, and prefers to wrestle bare chested.
STRATEGY/STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES
Strengths: 1) Speed. Just a lightning quick, slippery bastard.
2) From a mental standpoint, Kyle is the ultimate gamer. He sees everything as a boss battle, as a challenge to overcome, and his mind is always working on solving the problem in front of him, one way or another. He is obsessed with getting better, levelling up, raising his game in a big match and making sure he puts out the best effort.
3) COMBOS. Kyle is adept at chain wrestling and unleashing a series of combos, floatovers, reversals.
4) Resilience. Kyle can take a large, extensive amount of punishment, but refuse to give up. Will often get back up and ask for more.
Weaknesses: 1) Cockiness. Kyle is a true gamer, and have you ever tried to tell a gamer that they suck? It doesn't work. He think he's the best and nobody can tell him he may be wrong.
2) Conversely to that, he is pitbull tenacious, as many gamers are wont to be. When his back is to the wall, he fights hard, and sometimes can cross the line when pushed too far.
3) Smaller stature. Not the biggest or strongest in the ring, can’t win a power game against bigger, stronger opponents.
4) Kyle is just... he's a prick. Even as a face. He's contrary, in your face, and annoying. He knows how to push some buttons, and he can get under the skin of anyone, the crowd, or even referees, which can work to his disadvantage.
