R.B.
INDUCTED: July 25, 2005
FROM: Queens, New York
HONOURS: Founder of the WGWF; Internet Champion (1)
Although Ryan B wasn't the first man inducted into the WGWF Hall of Fame, he is listed first as he is the man who created the World Global Wrestling Federation. When Matt Hopkins and Adam Barker brought the WGWF back in July 2005, their first duty was to honour Ryan B in the WGWF Hall of Fame. Ryan created the WGWF back in October 1998. He created the original web site, recruited members and ran the WGWF all by himself until June 1999 when he received some help from Ron Hermison and later on, Matt Hopkins.
Flame, Pyro
INDUCTED: December 31, 1999
FROM: Devon, England
HONOURS: Intercontinental Champion (6), World Tag Team Champion (2), Internet Champion (1)
Matt Hopkins was inducted into the WGWF Hall of Fame by R.B. in December 1999. Ryan had some personal problems that needed to be addressed in September 1999 and Matt came forward to help with the running of the WGWF. Matt created a new web site for the WGWF around the same time. For these reasons and for being a very successful roleplaying member as Flame, Matt has been recognised by the Hall of Fame. Matt, along with Adam Barker, brought the WGWF back in July 2005 but were unable to run the fed for more than five months due to some unforeseen circumstances. However, in January 2007 Matt and Adam got together again to bring the WGWF back for a third time and to make it better than ever before.
Adam Nation, The Cat
INDUCTED: December 31, 1999
FROM: Devon, England
HONOURS: World Heavyweight Champion (4), Intercontinental Champion (1), Internet Champion (2)
Adam Barker was inducted into the WGWF Hall of Fame by R.B. in December 1999. Adam was called upon by Matt Hopkins in late 1999 to help with running the WGWF and is the only four time holder of the World Heavyweight Championship as Adam Nation. Along with Matt, Adam ran the WGWF during it's run in 2005 and became sole owner of the WGWF during it's third and final era between Jan 2007 and April 2008.
Marcus Jones
INDUCTED: July 25, 2005
FROM: Warsaw, Virginia
HONOURS: World Heavyweight Champion (1), Intercontinental Champion (2)
Mike Beck was one of the most loyal members of the WGWF between October 1998 and January 2000. Mike was always placed high on the card during his time in the WGWF due to his imaginative roleplays and was involved in many memorable feuds. Marcus Jones' finest moment was when he won the World Heavyweight Title in the biggest match in WGWF history, the 30-man Rumble at Armageddon 1999. Jones also lifted the Intercontinental Title twice and had some classic matches with Flame in 1999.
Sexual Vanilla, Sexual Cinnamon
INDUCTED: July 25, 2005
FROM: Chattanooga, Tennessee
HONOURS: World Heavyweight Champion (1), World Tag Team Champion (1)
Josh Massey was another long-serving member of the original WGWF roster. His light-hearted character provided many entertaining moments in the WGWF. Sexual Vanilla was perhaps the most unlikely World Heavyweight Champion in WGWF history. Vanilla upset Marcus Jones in late-1999 and thoroughly enjoyed his one month reign as "top dog". He also had a reign as World Tag Team Champion.
Chronic Chris Page
INDUCTED: May 4, 2008
FROM: Birmingham, Alabama
HONOURS: World Heavyweight Champion (6), World Tag Team Champion (2)
Travis Scott was the WGWF's most successful roleplayer during it's third era. He was a 6 time World Heavyweight Champion and the longest reigning champion in WGWF history. He also became a two time World Tag Team Champion and finished up with the best win/loss record when the WGWF closed it's doors in April 2008. Travis is also recognised for the endless hours he put into the WGWF by helping with match and segment writing. He also ran the fed for a short period during Adam Barker's absence. Without Travis Scott it is likely that the WGWF would not have lasted as long as it did.
Paul Frost
INDUCTED: May 4, 2008
FROM: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
HONOURS: World Heavyweight Champion (1), World Tag Team Champion (3)
Paul Klimchuk holds the record for being the WGWF's greatest tag team wrestler, a record not matched by anybody. He is one of two members that can say he was involved in the very first card of the WGWF's third run, and also the very last. He was a three time World Tag Team Champion and after a year of chasing, he finally got his hands on the World Heavyweight Championship. Paul also helped with match and segment writing week after week as well as taking the time to make many great videos for everyone to enjoy.
