WGWF BIO ONLY.
While wrestling for the CWF in 2005, Page was spotted by WGWF Co-owner Matt Hopkins and was subsequently offered a place on the WGWF roster. Page accepted but only stayed a short time. However, Page did return to the WGWF on March 26 2007 on Brawl in Manchester, England. he went on to form an unlikely alliance with Jimmy Jnr and entered into a feud with Paul Frost and Primetime, The Untouchables. Page and Jimmy defeated The Untouchables to lift the World Tag Team Championship at Spring Slugfest in an epic contest which lasted over 50 minutes! The big rematch took place on the May 14 Brawl and had a controversial ending. Page pinned Primetime while Frost pinned Jimmy at exactly the same time. Matt Hopkins made the bizarre ruling that Frost and Page(!) would indeed be the new World Tag Team Champions! Their reign didn't last long however, for obvious reasons. They vacated the titles on the June 4 Brawl. A match between Page and Frost took place on that same night to determine which man would gain possession of the titles. Page won the match due with an inadvertent assist from Famine of the Vile but Adam Barker reversed the decision and announce Frost the winner. Page's greatest night in the WGWF (up to that point) came at Hardcore Hell when he was the sole survivor in a War Games Elimination match where he became the first man to defeat Famine of the Vile in a brutal match. Page was then made the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Title and was scheduled to square off with Famine of the Vile at Master of the Mat 2007. However, the match actually took place on the June 11 Brawl. Vile was attempting to take Page out of the picture by tricking him into a championship match two weeks early. Vile's ploy was a huge failure though as Page defeated him to lift the World Heavyweight Championship in San Francisco. Things then took a shocking turn at Master of the Mat 2007 where Page turned on his friend Jimmy Jnr and joined forces with Adam Barker! Page went on to explain that he and Barker had been in cahoots all along. Page and Barker were soon joined by Paul Frost, Dean James and Kash Money and formed the group known as Genesis. At Summer Madness 2007 Page defeated Famine of the Vile once again to retain the World Title and was named WGWF's Best Wrestler for the months April-June. Page went on to successfully defend the title again at Armageddon III defeating Jason Black and Andrew King in a triple threat match. Soon after Armageddon III, Page entered into a war with MDK. Their first bout ended in a time limit draw at Caged In, going the entire sixty minutes in Madison Square Garden! Page then scored victories of Famine of the Vile and Jason Black on consecutive Brawls before finally losing the championship to MDK at Adrenaline 2007 in the first ever Hell in a Cell/Iron Man match! Page's reign as World Heavyweight Champion lasted 133 days, which is the longest single reign in WGWF history. Page and MDK engaged in a tremendous feud which ended at Deadly Game 2007 where Page regained the championship from MDK in a Last Man Standing match. Paul Frost then announced that he would cash in his guaranteed title shot at Winter Wars III. Page didn't take the news well and along with new sidekicks Alexander Ramsey and Brian Thorn, he turned on Frost, Dean James and Jason Black putting an end to Genesis. Page joined forces for a short time with Ramsey and Thorn and later Brian Bostwick and were known as V.I.P but the alliance didn't last too long. Page entered the WGWF Rumble match as it's number one entrant and made it all the way to the very end where he was screwed by Adam Barker, making Dail Pritchards the winner of the match. Just one week later Barker screwed Page a second time, costing him a certain World Title victory over Brian Thorn on Brawl. This led to the Ultimate Battle of the Legends at Spring Slugfest where Page defeated Adam in an epic Hell in a Cell match. Page then entered into a feud with Seth Stevens which would rage on for months. Page returned to action on July 21 as he teamed with Paul Frost and Kash Money to beat Seth Stevens, Steven Starr and JD Nitro. This led to a one-on-one match between Page and Stevens in the main event of Master of the Mat 2008 which Stevens won by disqualification. A week later Page would taste defeat again as he and Paul Frost fell to Stevens and Jason Creed on Brawl. Page would then fight Creed to a draw in Toronto on Aug 11 before Page managed to defeat Stevens and Andrew Clash (formerly Andrew King) in a handicap match. In the main event of Armageddon IV Page teamed with Famine of the Vile in an unsuccessful attempt to become World Tag Team Champions when they were defeated by Andrew Clash and Seth Stevens. Page suffered a beating following the match which came close to ending his career. Page returned at Caged In 2008 to beat Seth Stevens in a Hell in a Cell match but on Oct 6 when the two faced off again Seth Stevens would be victorious in a Best 2/3 Falls match. Chris would return in 2010 at Spring Slugfest only to shock the world by turning his back on long time best friend Adam Barker which re-sparked the feud. At Hardcore Hell 2010 Chronic Chris Page will challenge Dean James for the WGWF World Heavyweight Championship.
